We seem to have an monster migration problem in this cave. The monsters are coming over here after they used all their available brain power and figured out that both the millipedes and hermit crabs are dead and to inhabit the unused land but at least it means I don’t have to roll all the way over to the shallow caves everytime I need to kill things even if they are slowly taking over the tunnels around my house.

I also spotted an old enemy that also decided to join in with the mass migration over here.

That stupid komodo dragon lizard who spit acid at me that one time! I’m not actually sure it’s the same one but I like to think it is because if I kill it, I’ll feel like I got my revenge on that big lizard for nearly killing me early on in my life. It’s just sitting in a random tunnel all by itself.

The reason I’m able to tell that while remaining hidden is that my sight is amazing at watching things from around a couple of corners.

I focus on to Cake and Kiwi to think of a way to ambush the acid spitting lizard.

Grenades might collapse the tunnel again which is something that I would rather avoid after last time as even though I did get a lot of levels from crushing all those monsters we couldn’t eat most of the biomass due to it being crushed under tonnes of rocks. I would also like to have Kiwi deal most of the damage to get all that bonus experience since Kiwi is an evolution below it and also I’m pretty sure Kiwi is immune to its poison since I've seen mantises eat lizards without dying in this cave.

So that’s why I want GagOs to figure out a plan for me, since she was actually helping me a little bit ago! Take it away GagOs!

I nearly mute GagOs but instead decide it was stupid of me to even ask her for anything that doesn’t boost her ego. Wait! That’s it! I just have to boost her ego to get her to do what I want!

Verthrariug is an incredible name for you, it really encapsulates your lack of a soul. It’s so good maybe I’ll stop calling you GagOs if you just do this one little favor for me first.

I start to figure out a plan to be able to give Kiwi a crap ton of levels from that lizard.

‘Cake?’ I ask Cake for help with my plan.

‘Yes, Meister?’ Cake replies eagerly awaiting my command.

‘How would you kill something and let Kiwi take the exp from it?’

‘I would do the same as you Meister and grab it.’

No Cake this isn’t some ordinary garden lizard you can’t just pin it down and let Kiwi kill it.

Cake weighs a decent amount, and I'm sure she could pin it down if she tried to sit on it. I don’t think Kiwi could kill it before it got out of but maybe if I was able to weaken it a little or even if I managed to brain parasite it.

Although I doubt I will be able to do that unless I upgrade it a little but I have better things to spend Biomass on...like Flesh Flash or Anti-Grav.

Speaking of those I’ll think I’ll upgrade both of them a little since I still have a little bit of biomass left over from those earlier monsters I was able to get out of the tunnel collapse

I don’t know! There is some trash but a lot of these are good.

But if I had to pick the standouts Spearhead, Shunning, Jump, Time-Saver, and Efficiency would be them.

Efficiency and Time-Saver are both good overall, nothing amazing but they will always be useful no matter the situation. I think that some others are still better even if these may be used all the time.

Shunning could be useful if I ever have to fight something with more than two brain cells. I’m sure it will happen eventually, but I don’t know when and I would rather get something that will help me both now and later.

Jump is one that is super situational and is mostly just for looks. Why would I need to jump? I have suction cups, I can just crawl up a wall if I need to get higher. The only possible scenario that I would need this is like a wall or something that I can’t grab onto.

And lastly Spearhead, its a new mode like jump except this one is actually super useful. I don’t really have a way to penetrate tough armor other than my draining spike and that isn’t really made for penetration because I have to slowly chip away at any armor I can get my tendrils on but if I got this I might be able to penetrate the toughest of monster hides without too many problems.

It also doesn’t get rid of my old use for Flesh Flash since that is super useful to get out of a pinch its basically giving an existing mutation a new purpose. Which I like since it allows me to be prepared for any weird armored monsters this world might throw at me on the surface.

Alright non-sentient system GladOs, honestly I should start calling you something more appropriate since you aren’t really the cake loving robot that I know.

Oh, this is new? I guess I’m the first person to call the system, SystOs. Then that would mean someone must have started calling the system GladOs before me. Which means that another portal fan also got isekai’d. I wonder if they got turned into a tentacle monster too?

I lose my senses and start to put a plan in motion to kill the lizard for Kiwi.

I think I know a perfect way I can use this new ability to weaken the big lizard to make sure Cake can hold it down long enough for Kiwi to deal the most amount of damage and kill it.

I soon spring back to life and I test my new ability by using it on the wall to see if it can fit in with my plan.

My body starts to generate the flesh flash like normal but this time I flex the muscle really hard and I can keep it in my body to sling shot out. As I keep flexing, I feel the muscle tighten and harden in my body before I can no longer contain it and it launches out at the wall and drills a small hole into the wall before slinking back into my body.

‘Wow! Meister, what incredible power!’ Cake says as the tendril fully enters back into my body.

‘Zzz-Maistear-Zzz-Strong-Zzz’ Kiwi mentally says half asleep.

Wow! That’s a nice change of pace from GagOs always dunking on me. It feels nice to have some people finally appreciate me. It even envirgorates me with a sense of pride since Cake looks like a girl but I shouldn’t think too much about that since I have a plan to put into action.

‘I appreciate it, but I would also appreciate it, Kiwi, if you could be a little more attentive while I describe to you the plan we are going to do to kill that lizard over there and get you some easy levels.’

Kiwi gets off the ground and stands straight up and looks at me with her large mantis eyes attentively waiting for whatever I’m going to say.

‘Yes. Maistear.’ Kiwi says.

I explain my plan to both Cake and Kiwi and we quickly set off to put it into motion.

‘Meister, we are ready.’ Cake says as she gets in position from around the right corner of a ‘T’ shaped intersection.

Kiwi is also using Cake for protection if that lizard decides to spit acid at them Cake will be able to take less damage from the acid than Kiwi.

I crawl along the roof waiting for the lizard to start to move down the tunnel and into our ambush spot where Cake will jump on it and immobilize it.

The lizard is currently sitting on the ground and after a while it starts to move and I watch as the lazy lizard gets up off the ground and begins making its way away from us.

Are you serious!? All that planning and it just turns around for no reason. I will not have my plan ruined because the lizard didn’t feel like walking this way!

I chip a small rock off the ceiling and throw it at the large lizard. The lizard immediately turns around and starts to walk back toward the ambush spot.

It also spots me on the ceiling and spits a glob of acid at me.

I dodge out of the way fast enough and only a small amount of acid touches me. It sizzles away at my body, but my regeneration is able to keep up with it and I use the speed boost from anti-gravity to move closer to the lizard to launch my new ability at it.

The spearhead like tendril launches out of my body after l flexed it hard enough and it penetrates straight through the lizard's foot stopping it from moving.

I call for Cake to come out from behind the corner and use her size to try and pin the lizard to the floor.

The lizard starts to writhe in pain and bites at my tendril that went straight through its foot causing the venom and acid from its mouth to battle against my regeneration and the combo of the two ends up causing an old message to pop up.

At the same time Cake also plops her shell down on the lizard and it stops trying to bite at my tendril and instead tries to bite through Cake’s shell. Which doesn’t end up doing too much to Cakesince I have been telling her to upgrade it to prepare for our escape.

However, the tendril that the lizard was chewing on is completely destroyed and will take a little bit to heal. I call Kiwi over from behind the corner and I let her go to town from behind the lizard while Cake keeps the lizard subdued.

Kiwi digs into the flesh of the lizard, 5 times Kiwi's size, using her mantis arms flinging guts and blood all around us. The lizard starts to writhe even harder while under Cakes weight and manages to wiggle out from under Cake's shell. Kiwi is still on the back of the lizard trying to kill it and both me and Cake tag team the lizard while Kiwi slowly rips away at its spine.

The lizard tries to roll Kiwi off its body but I use my new spearhead mode and generate a new tendril to spearhead through another foot, pinning it to the ground and as it tries to spit acid at my tendril that dug itself into its foot. Cake takes a risky move to stop it by clamping her claw on its snout stopping it from spitting the acid at me. The acid pools out of the lizards mouth and onto Cake’s claw causing the unprotected muscle of Cake’s claw to start to fall apart. However, Cake doesn’t care, and she holds on to stop the lizard from spitting acid at me or Kiwi.

‘Cake! What are you doing! Stop holding its mouth, your claw is going to fall off!’ I send to Cake.

‘Yes, Meister.”

Cake lets go of the lizards mouth and instead slams her other still fully functioning claw onto the lizards snout causing a crack sound to be heard from it.

The lizard tries its hardest to break out of the tag team attack but eventually succumbs to its wounds and dies.

‘Kiwi, how many times did you level up?’ I ask Kiwi since Kiwi obviously did most of the damage.

‘6.’ Kiwi says.

Six Levels?! That's great! That lizard was kind of a pain to kill, but I think it was worth it for six levels. I wonder what level Kiwi is now?

‘What level are you guys?’ I ask curious.

‘9,’ Kiwi says.

‘13,’ Cake says.

I think we might be strong enough to finally leave this cave if we can kill 'that' I’m pretty sure we are strong enough to handle the surface atleast a little and I also don't want to stick around to find out if a giant nest monster decides to migrate over here too. I might have to slap some radiation off the two of them in our escape, but I’m pretty sure most of the radiation is gone by now so it should be much better than when Gothalyn went through it.

I’ll let Kiwi take all the lizard meat from this dead lizard since me and Cake both can’t eat it due to it being poisonous and then I'll go do some investigation down in the hell pit to make triple sure that they can get through to the surface without suffocating in radiation.

But while Kiwi enjoys that meal, I think I’ll look at my status and rest after using all that stamina during that fight.
