《A guy reincarnated as a sloth and is too lazy to be a protagonist》A good Job

Here we see our Hero once again climbing trough the forest, not only avoiding predators, but also finding time to keep training his favorite ability.
"-Could have just drove over some weeb and have a fun adventure, but nooo, why do that when you can kill me, well, you know what you shithead? I will make sure this fucking adventure will suck more ass than your mother, even if I have to die for it! "
Truly, always the diligent one, our hero.
"Shut up, I’m still coming to you after I am done cursing the fucker who brought me here."
"What's making that annoying noise?"
"Oh shit."
Said our hero, always prepared for the unexpected.
"Sounds a bit like dying raccoon."
And you sound like a bitch, but unlike you what can I do about how I sound you-
But then our hero saw what appeared to be a busty young elven girl equipped with a spear and net, most likely to capture some monsters.
No shit Sherlock.
"Oooh, that looks like a new variation of a green sloth."
Yeah I know I’m handsome, but no touching alright?
Said our hero, while starting to climb away backwards with a speed you seldom see him use.
"How cute, it's trying to flee."
Said the elven girl while catching up to him by walking leisurely towards him.
"Curse it, my only weakness, a being able to walk faster than a toddler!"
And then she threw the spear at him.
"AHH, SHIT, SHIT, THAT HURTS SO FUCKING MUCH, WHY THE FUCK ME, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU BITCH!"
But fighting his pain, our hero stood back up and attacked the elven maiden.
"WHAT THE-, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? HOW ABOUT I THROW A FUCKING BARBED SPEAR AT YOU AND YOU FIGHT THE FUCKING FUCK PAIN, OH GOD IT STILL FUCKING HUR-"

And so, our Hero collapsed.
"Huh, neat, didn’t even need to use the net. Must be some weak variation, but whatever, today's my lucky day. I really wanted a new pet since my fox died of old age and the girls are gonna be so jealous of me for having this special one."
Said the maiden, forgetting that the fox was merely a pup and it died because she drowned it while trying to give it a "relaxing" bath.
"No, I’m pretty sure foxy died of old age, but at least I got a nice scarf out of it, even if it is a bit tiny…."
Psychopath…
"Huh, what did you say?"
…
"Oh yeah, I also need to name my new pet now….how aboooouuut... Richard! That’s a nice name ain't it?"
Accept Name as Richard? [Yes/No]
If not selected within 5 minutes, name automatically selected.
5 minutes later...
Name designated as Richa-
Wait, I have an idea.
No.
Wait, wait, it's not against the rules this time, I swear.
No.
Come on, it’s technically the same name.
No!
...
...You know...would be a reeeeal shame if someone "accidentally" told the boss who always steals his donuts in the office…
...
Name designated as Dick.
.....Ha...
....Ha...ha..ha..hahahahahahaHAHAHAHA-
another 5 minutes later...
HAHAhahahaha...ha…….ha….......God, I love my job.

*!* This story is currently being continued on a different page, following years of hiatus and extensive rewrites *!* Please follow the link to read the up-to-date version: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/53863/cycles-of-ruin Basil von Doom is a powerful dungeon keeper with a simple mission: to bring ruin and destruction upon civilized worlds at the height of their decadence and stagnation. Much like his father before him, the new master of House Doom is a prodigy of war, yet the venerable minions of his household still hold strange loyalties toward his missing ancestor, silently comparing the legendary rage of his father to the more pragmatic approach of the son. Adding to Basil’s frustrations is the lack of accomplishment he feels for his work, with the dungeon keeper often taking on handicaps just to give his enemies a fighting chance. With all the power and wealth one could ever dream of already within his grasp, Basil now finds that the achievements of others kindle more joy in his heart than his own crushing victories. Thus Basil has taken up mentoring the next generation of dungeon keepers to try and diagnose the cause for his own lack of passion. With his apprentice, Elnora, managing most of the daily work around the dungeon, Basil can finally turn his attention towards his personal concerns, such as tackling the shadow of his legendary father that still looms large over him.

Superior Era
How would you react if you found yourself unable to sleep? Not just for one day, or two days, or even three days, but a more permanent time span, like the rest of your life? That’s exactly the predicament Dario finds himself in and he’s thoroughly vexed by it. After all, what sort of sane person would want to miss out on sleep? A madman, that's who. It’s especially worrying considering how he lives in a world filled with fantastical monsters, deadly beasts, and 'Superiors' supposedly protecting the interests of humanity. Sleep is quite the necessity under those circumstances. Life is tough for an ostracized kid, but Dario quickly realizes that his wakeful nights are more blessing than curse, as there seems to be quite a few advantages in not having to sleep... Join Dario as he climbs the ranks of superhumans, uncovers hidden truths, travels the world, and discovers abilities he never before thought possible. This is a tale of superpowered/superhero-like individuals set in a dangerous fantasy world with hints of GameLit elements. Features MC with abilities deemed unique to the world and can disregard the need for sleep at no cost to himself. No Harems. Current Release Schedule: 3-5 chapters per week. (Slower updates for holiday season) First few chapters are fairly short, but the rest will average around 2.5k words.

The Mortal Acts
The Mortal Acts is an epic progression fantasy with a lower focus on training aspects and a great focus on discovering new ways of using powers intelligently. I've always been drawn to stories where characters use their powers creatively to overcome opponents and obstacles, and I think all the possibilities can provide a great playground for twists and turns. It's inspired by a variety of media, including Will Wight's Cradle, Hunter x Hunter, and Bioshock, so if you like the creative power use elements from those, come check it out. This is my first serial, and please feel free to leave comments and feedback. For backstory, behind-the-scenes, and other fun stuff, come chat on my discord! Become a patron to read up to 20 chapters ahead here! Blurb: Riven Morell cuts short his regular life at school and home when his mother falls terminally ill. Desperate to find a cure, he travels to Severance Frontier, a desolate land haunted by hordes of ghosts, witches, and demons collectively called the Deathless. But a miraculous cure doesn’t magically fall into his hands. Things are worse in Severance Frontier than Riven had assumed. Ghosts are banding together into armies, demons are kidnapping anyone who strays out of settlements, and witches are enslaving everyone left and right. Riven, of course, gets embroiled in the mess. Missions to curb the Deathless activity are one thing, but when it starts to look like this is just the beginning of a war that extends beyond the mortal realm, Riven has a hard time focusing on why he came to Severance Frontier in the first place. His mother is inching towards death with every passing day, but if he doesn’t face down the Deathless, what little civilization the Frontier holds will be overrun and destroyed. Thankfully, it looked like the Deathless might just hold the secret of the elusive cure.
