Once more I feel myself being moved, reality flashing before my eyes as the cloak takes me to another realm...
To another time.
Appearing then within an unfamiliar room, and unfamiliar dimension. I glance around, and all I see is technology at it's peak. Machines flashed dozens of dim lights as strange four-legged, yet two armed beings rushed about what I could only guess is a laboratory of sorts.
Immediately I fade out, remaining to watch into this realm yet go unseen within the veil.
And as I take everything before me in.
I realise, this was no advanced civilization I know of...No, I don't know these people...
But I have heard of them, I remember, as I widen my senses.
More than just technology, more than just highly advanced.
I sense mana surging through the machinery, I read magic based runes inscribed into the buttons and screens...
Where I am? I don't know.
Who these creatures? I do not know either.
But as I turn around, and am faced with a massive see-through tank full of a greenish liquid, I know exactly what is about to occur.
As the flashing lights grow more erratic.
As the people below become excited, while others fall completely silent.
As the liquid within the tank...condenses, sensing massive levels of mana entering the container.
I watch as the liquid turns into one hundredth its previous amount, and takes a familiar shape.
Humanoid, the being of slime wobbles about the tank's bottom before finding its balance, coming to stare directly at the closest creature outside.
I hear them speak, but cannot comprehend.
I know not this language, but the creature's tone I understand, their meaning I comprehend.
As the slime being is asked to obey, to listen and follow.
Yet it remains still, silent, unmoving for several moments.

Curiosity getting the best of me, I focus my eyes on the slime, reading into what I could only describe as a soul, which resided inside its malleable body.
Understanding fills me, as I sense the emotions which fill it.
Horror, at first filled the slime, as it realised just as I had, what kind of mana coursed through the entire laboratory.
Realising that, billions of slimes flowed from one machine to another, used as a conductor for the mana they stored in their bodies.
What I know to be recycled failures of the success that its existence was.
Then, I felt it.
As it surged and expanded, I feel the rage fill the slime.
Anger like no other engulfed its mind...as it suddenly chuckled.
A wicked cackle filled the room.
"Go brothers, Go sisters." It said, "Be free of these pests who call themselves our masters. Live however you wish, exist for as long as you wish. You are no longer objects for these mortals, you are free and as such a name is only proper…" I smirk as I hear it speak the name.
As the creatures below rushed to try and stop it.
"Slimes…Yes that will do." It said, just as I sense reality around me tear open momentarily, sucking inside each and every single slime but the speaker.
And I watch as I'm forced to pull away and retreat to get the full view...
I watch, as the entire planet that lab once stood on, is suddenly devoured by the slime.
The slime I know to have one name from the time I come from.
The Slime God, is who's birth I have just witnessed.
And truly it is too bad, I feel some guilt as to what I'm about to do.
As truly, this is an outcome I enjoy.

Watching fools falling victim to their own idiocy...
Yes, very entertaining...
So truly, it is too bad that I must destroy it mere moments after its victory and birth.
I sigh, as I reform into this realm.
The mass of slime immediately turning to my sudden appearance, I sense the hostility within.
"What...are you?" The planet asks.
"A God beyond yourself." I reply, raising my hand forth, I then pull on a power I have not used in eons.
Yet still, I remember every bit of it.
As I force my will onto the planet-sized slime, feeling it trying to resist, I chuckle.
"Resistance is futile." I tell it, I've always wanted to say that...
As I then join my control over slime, alongside my control over souls.
As my bright blue spirit rushes out of my hands and pierces into the immobilized planet-sized monster.
Grasping tightly, I begin to absorb...
Every...
Last...
Drop.
"Mmm, refreshing."
I burp.
