Dungeon of the Revenants of Darkness Legion
Walking out of the corridor separating each room within the dungeon, Kaine gazed on at the small army of undead rising from the floor and walls.
More than just skeletons faced him now, as the rotting walking corpses of zombies and ethereal shadows that were shades also greeted him.
Each turning to face him as he walked into the dimly lit hall.
“Creatures that crawl, creatures that slither. Beings that fly, beings that whisper. Imbue my weapon with your very essence, imbue my hand with your name.” Kaine chanted, as he suddenly stopped before the approaching horde, raising both weapons to his sides as a dark green energy surrounded the blades. “Demonic Path; Weapon Imbue; Type Hell. I call forth your minions, demon, answer my call.” He finished his chant, and Nova’s eyes glimmered a bright green then.
“Your request, I accept.” The demon’s voice spoke through, “Telaquitzl, Orotovos.” It said.
Kaine repeated the names, “Telaquitzl.” He spoke out, and his left sword turned bright emerald as greenish winds whirled around the blade. “Orotovos.” He then spoke out once more, and his right sword burned a dark teal colour.
With one sword engulfed in raging demonic wind and the other ablaze with the fires of hell, Kaine dashed into the horde, trailing green-blue flames behind himself.
Then suddenly he stopped, as had the monsters, each of the undead creatures had stopped moving before suddenly turning into a black mist.
“What just…” Kaine mused as he watched the mist dissipate, and the doors at the opposite end of the hall open up bare.
“Keke,” Nova chuckled, “It seems as if someone has realised that throwing this constant trash at you, is only making you stronger, and that this is your goal for entering in the first place master.”
“Hmph, so that’s supposed to be an invitation to them then?” Kaine asked, narrowing his eyes as he carefully approached the doorway.
“Maybe,” Nova mused.
“Probably a trap though,” The still unnamed demon then said through Nova’s body, “That or it has something stronger in reserve, awaiting us ahead.”
“I guess then we’ll just have to find out.” Kaine sighed, dispelling his imbued weapons back to common swords before stepping forth and into the doorway.
Finding himself walking through the same short corridor he had the past four rooms before reaching another set of closed doors. Coming to stand before them, he did just as the demon had instructed him to do the past several doorways.
Putting both weapons back into their sheaths, Kaine then placed his palm onto where the two doors met, before pushing as hard as he could.

“Dispel protection!” Kaine chanted, and as he did the doors glowed a bright blue, runes lit up all along the double doors as lightning-like sparks clashed with his hand. All the while a dark green energy Kaine knew as his own mana flowed out of his palm and into the runes.
Dispel unsuccessful, your total combat level is insufficient to continue onto the next room.
A notification came into his view then, as the runes exploded outwards and bashed into him, throwing Kaine flying backwards and sliding along the floor all the way back into the last hall.
Groaning as he pulled himself up, Kaine watched with great annoyance as the first set of doors closed up.
“Well, it seems this is as far as you go alone.” The demon mused.
“No matter, I’ll just try the other paths we went past back there.” Kaine said with a sigh, rising to his feet and turning about to leave, when suddenly the sight of movement back the way he had come from caught his full attention.
Although, at first, he did not make it clear that it had.
As he walked off to the open set of doors, suddenly when he reached the middle of the room Kaine pulled out a small dagger he had looted off his previous kills and threw it clean at where the movement had come from.
The dagger flew true, embedding itself into a stone statue’s shield that stood by a pillar.
Right then he realised what the movement had been, as heard and watched Rey yelp in surprise before falling back onto her ass into full view of him. Glancing over at him, back at the dagger, and then back at him, Rey smiled awkwardly. “Uhm, hi?”
Both Nova and Kaine rolled their eyes.
Elsewhere
Camp Town
“So, where’s it at?” Dhorn asked as he followed Howard. Sting and Kendo having temporarily broken off from them to find Sting’s friend.
“Just down this alley,” Howard pointed down the eerie side-street, turning from away from the main path to it, Dhorn tentatively followed just as the sound of something crashing and falling sounded off behind them.
Ignoring the sound, now used to the shenanigans of other players, the both of them continued down the alleyway. Going past several shady stores and doors hanging half-open with not a single sign in sight.
“Here it is,” Howard mused as they came out on the other side of the alleyway, finding themselves surrounded no longer by buildings but instead an entire campground of large tents. As players moved in and out of several tents, Howard began approaching one of the smaller dark green ones.

Just then a rather annoyed adventurer rushed out of the tent, holding a bow which glowed a murky violet-brown, “Screw your bloody enchantments! The mark spell on my bow?! I already have that damn skill!” they shouted angrily back into the tent.
“No refunds, Next.” A seemingly bored voice spoke out after them, low in tone but still louder than the Elf’s, as said adventurer then stormed off grumbling under his breath.
“Well, not exactly running the business well isn’t she?” Dhorn mused at the sight.
“Yeah…More of a con-woman.” Howard sighed as they came to stand before the tent’s entrance.
“And who the hell-” began to say a rough female voice from within as they entered, “You calling a con?” Finding the Orc sitting upon a large stone within, three tables before her full of herbs, animal parts alongside a mortar and pestle set.
Beatrice {Explossiioonnn!} [Level 19]
Large just like most Orcs, Beatrice was two entire heads taller than Howard, and taller than Dhorn even as she lay sitting down. With a light greenish skin tone, two bright green eyes and a brownish-green hair cut short, two small tusks also protruded out from the sides of her mouth.
“So, the numbskull is back, bringing with him the rock-hugger.” She mused with a sigh, glancing around behind them, “Nobody else? Eh, strange enough to see you two together these days. What are you unhappy with your shield enchantment too? Brought ole’ Dhorny here to give me a rant on how to craft? Sorry no refunds, enchantments don’t exactly detach off babe.”
“Ahh, no no, the shield’s fine.” Howard quickly reassured.
To which Beatrice’s eyes narrowed, “Then, why you both here? At the same time?”
“Well it ain’t no damn coincidence I’ll tell ye that much.” Dhorn grumbled, as Beatrice then noticed the rucksack, mace and shield he wielded.
Her eyes opening wide, “Wait, where ya off to this time? And hell no I’m not coming with you to capture another god damn Gaizedon for Kenzen!...Unless we’re talking triple pay…of course.” She then said with a wide toothy grin.
Dhorn groaned at that, shaking his head as he held his face.
“No Bae we’re here for other reasons, personal ones.” Howard explained.
“Oh? Not business? Well you know where the exit is.” Beatrice then mused, turning to the side and picking up a small sack full of red dust.
“Ugh, we’re bringing the gang back together ye money-lover!” Dhorn then exclaimed, fully regaining her attention.
“Bringing back? Gang? Like, the guild?” Beatrice asked with even wider eyes.
“Yeah,” Howard nodded, “We’re reviving the guild and going off on our own from this town” He said and at those words Beatrice suddenly rose up into standing, knocking over two of her tables she stared at them whilst Howard continued on, “Kendo and Sting are in on it too plus Sting is gathering up a sixth player to fill our party. We’re off to find Dark and Sin first though, since they went off days ago just the two of them.”
Without saying another word, Beatrice rushed to the side of her tent where a closet lay, slamming its doors open, she quickly pulled out a rather eerie looking bladed-staff and an embroidered crimson robe.
“Oh god,” Howard coughed out as he looked away, just as Beatrice suddenly stripped naked from her common clothes and began putting on the mage robe.
Dhorn just watched, seemingly enjoying the sight.
Done from changing, Beatrice turned to the both of them with a wide grin, clutching her staff with glee, “Aight, when we leaving?” She asked with great enthusiasm.
“Uh, I mean we gotta go meet up with Sting’s group at the main market, stock up on resources and tools, then we’re off?” Howard mused, sheepishly glancing over at her to make sure she wasn’t skin-bare any more, he tried his best to forget the horrifying sight as he met her excited gaze.
“Alright, let’s go.” Beatrice quickly said then, storing her staff over her back, she grabbed both of their arms and stormed out of the tent pulling them with…Pulling Howard with as Dhorn, on the other hand, hung off her raised arm like an agitated fish.
“Oi! Oi! Oi! Get ye mits off me!” Dhorn grumbled out as she carried him, whilst Howard tried his best not to trip over as she dragged him.
“Ah, sorry.” She then realised, slowing down to human pace, she let go of Howard’s arm but kept holding the dwarf up. “Market, right?”
“Yeah…” Howard chuckled, “To the market.” Continuing on down the street, now walking normally.
“Oi ye still holding me up!” Dhorn then exclaimed.
“We’re actually walking faster like this though.” Howard mused.
“Yeah, why do you think I haven’t let him down?” Beatrice joked.
“Blasted…damn…” He struggled against her Orcish strength for a bit, but after several moments of flopping about, “Fuck.”
He gave up.
