With the biome type chosen, Teaghan decided that it was time to go through the blue screens from the pile of objects that Orius gave her. She pulled them up and carefully read through them.

Heat Crystal

A type of crystal that emits heat depending on the amount of mana in the area.

Paleato

A species of small extinct fish, found in cold oceans and lakes. This fish species was quite common during the frozen and cold eras of this planet’s past.

Ortiota

A type of clear, crystal-like metal that is created when limestone is hit by a lightning strike. This type of metal is rare and is extremely useful for the creation of magical devices.

Ocean Apple

An edible fruit that grows underwater. Contrary to its name, it does not grow in the ocean but in cold freshwater areas. It has edible fruits, but consumption of the inner portion of the fruits is exceptionally toxic.

Grey Bat

A common mountainous species of bat can grow as large as a hawk. This species of bat is carnivorous and has an excellent sense of smell. It can also pick up objects or prey that is five times its weight.

Reindeer Lichen

A species lichen that can survive and lives in environments of extreme cold. This species is able to hold a lot of water within it, but it is able to prevent the water from freezing. Making this type of lichen a vital source of food.

Aten Hare

A species of rabbit that has been extinct since the last ice age. This rabbit species is able to survive in freezing weather. This species is also an omnivore. It also has sharp teeth and curved claws.

Steel

An alloy of iron, this metal, if created properly, can be used in many things. This alloy is more robust than iron but also easier to work with. The metal also is a mana conduit and is often used in the creation of magical devices.

While the pile of objects was large, Teaghan only received a couple of blue screens. But, what she was able to receive, made her very happy.

With that done, Teaghan went to create her sixth floor and safe area.

She knew what she wanted to do for the floor, so she started with the safe area first.

Teaghan created a hallway where, when she was ready, she would connect the fifth and sixth floor. At the end of the hallway, she created a room with the dimensions of 15 meters by 15 meters. It was not that big, but Teaghan did not want it to be. She just wanted a room where people could rest before they moved on to the sixth floor.

With the safe area built, Teaghan started with the sixth floor. She created the room to be around 500 metres and be circular in shape. Unlike the other floors, she wanted to make the floor of this one uneven. She took dirt and stone and packed and placed them into hills around the room. The room, without any plant life, looked like a bunch of different types of hills. Some places had steep elevations, while other areas had only slight inclines and declines.

Teaghan could already tell that this floor was different from her previous floors. For one thing, the temperature within the floor was already getting colder. She concluded that this was an effect of the taiga biome and that for every biome she would choose in the future, they would all have effects like this.

Teaghan started by adding the trees first. She placed scotch and eaholia pine tree species across the floor, with white birch spread throughout the pine trees. When she was finished with the trees, she took a moment to just look at them and feel the floor she created. Teaghan could already feel the floor getting colder. But it was beautiful, and she couldn’t wait to see the finished product.

Next, Teaghan knew that she wanted to replicate snowfall, but not constant snowfall. She pulled the list of plants that she had in her possession to look for the perfect plant to help her achieve this. As she read through the plants that she owned, she found the ideal plant, the sunglow moss. This moss collects moisture in the air, and when full release the water, she just hoped that it would be able to survive in this type of biome or it adapted. But she hoped that when the moss released the water, it would turn into snow.

She then placed grass and the reindeer lichen across the floor. The grass-covered all of the dirt while the lichen was placed and was growing on most of the trees. After the grass and lichen were placed, Teaghan put the twin flowers in groups across the whole floor, creating patches of nothing on the ground but these flowers. She also placed some kudzu vines, shield ferns, and a couple of luminous moss onto the trees.

Before Teaghan moved on to this floor’s creature, she tried to cover the ground with snow. She tried to inject water mana into all of the moss, and it worked. The moss continuously produced snow repeatedly until the water mana that Teaghan injected into them ran out. By the time that the water mana ran out, the snow in certain places around the floor reached a meter high to only a couple of centimetres in other places. She was delighted with this outcome and decided that it was time to start on the creatures of this floor.

Teaghan placed gypsy moths, aten hares, grey bats, and northern goshawks onto the floor. Next, she decided to create a pack of kenai wolves for this floor. Teaghan knew that she wanted these wolves to be the main challenge, the main predator of the sixth floor. But that did not mean that she did not wish to add any monsters on this floor. No, the primary monster type that she wanted for the sixth floor was the ice slimes and only a couple of snow sharks.

After the whole creation period, Teaghan took a step back and looked at what she created and accomplished. She was very proud of her floor for some reason. But her job was never-ending. She had to grow bigger, stronger, more powerful to survive. So, Teaghan went back to work and continued working on expanding larger.
