———————–Fafnir POV————————————–

“You have the key,” I yelled as I ushered Azazel into the bedroom.

“Stay here I need to talk to my brother for a little bit before I introduce you. Just play with the block like you have been.” I instructed.

“Where you at bro?” I heard my brother from the other room.

“Just wait in the living room. There is something we need to talk about.” I replied.

“Did you finally get a girlfriend?’ I heard my brother laugh from the other room.

“Ok Daddy, but don’t take long.” She said as she hugged my leg before she jumped onto the bed

“I won’t,” I assured her as I closed the door and went to the living room.

“Ryan, I don’t want you to freak out but a lot has happened since I last saw you.” I said as I entered the room.

“It has only been a week, did you ge…” he started to replied as he turned around.

“AAAAAAHHHHHHHH” he screamed his voice cracking as he beheld my draconic form. His screaming went on for a full minute before he passed out.

“At least he didn’t wet himself” I sighed looking at my unconscious brother.

“What happened Daddy? I heard a lot of screaming and then it stopped.” She called from the other room.

“I just surprised my brother… he was really surprised.” I replied.

I walked over to my brother and buffeted him awake him with my wing.

“Ow,” I heard my brother mutter as he started to stir “I was only…” he froze as he saw me.

“Don’t freak out again.” I interrupted.

“You’re a dragon…” he asked.

“Yes,” I replied, “ten points to you.”

“Like a real dragon?” He stammered.

“What do you think?” I replied as I slapped him with my wing.

“Does mom know?” he asked.

“Not yet, I got back yesterday afternoon.” I nervously chuckled.

“Where did you just get back from?” he asked.

“I will explain it in a little while; first there is someone I would like you to meet first.” I said.

“You can come in now !” I called. I only took a few seconds before Azazel ran into the room and latched onto my leg.

“Ryan, I want you to meet my daughter, Azazel” I said gesturing to the demoness with my wing.

“Say hello, Azazel.”

“You don’t look like Daddy.” Azazel stated clutching my leg.

“He is still my brother, we just look very different.” I explained.

“Ok. Daddy, can I play with the colorful blocks some more?” she asked.

“Yes,” I replied and she let go of my leg and headed back into the bedroom.

It took over an hour to recount what happened, skipping over some of the more violent parts. Ryan just sat there and listened without asking a question.

“Wow.” He said as I finished my tale, “Now, what are you going to do? You can’t go to work or class looking like that.”

“I can make myself humanoid, though I still have scales on most of my body and it is painful to stay in that form for any length of time.” I replied, a chill ran down my spine remember the outcome of the previous attempt, “Though you are correct.”

“Can I see your humanoid form?” My brother asked with a glint in his eye.

“Do you have dragon strength pain relievers?” I asked.

“No…” my brother replied with a questioning look.

“Then after I polymorph you need to get me some” I said as I reached for that crevice in my heart and just like last time the transformation was horrifically painful, as my body reshaped itself.

“It is human-ish,” my brother said after examining me, “all you would really need to blend in is a scarf, some gloves, boots and long clothing. Though you might get questions about your hair and eyes. I mean Blueish white is not in style right now and most people’s eyes don’t glow unless they live in a nuclear reactor or something.”

“It is the middle of winter so a scarf is acceptable…” I admitted, “But how does gloves hide talons?”

“I never said it was perfect.” He replied.

“Even if I could theoretically blend in enough to go to work and school, what is Azazel going to do?” I asked, “She can’t go to school, she can literally rip someone’s head off.”

“She can what?” My brother asked.

“She is a dragon demon hybrid.” I replied, “She is many times stronger than a human and she has been taught how to rip someone’s head off by her dark elf uncle.”

“Oh.” Ryan responded.

“Yah” I flatly stated.

“Well, you could ask mom… she should be thrilled to know that she has a granddaughter. Though you never did tell me who the mother was.” My brother proposed.

“You don’t want to know…” I replied, “And if mom watches her I will have to explain everything.”

“You will have to tell her eventually.” He retorted, “And this way you can make some money.”

“I’ll think about it.” I sighed.

“Cool, now can you help me with my math homework?” He asked.

“If I can remember how to do it,” I replied And, with a huff, I painfully reverted back to my dragon form.
