Personal Update:

I'll keep this short with no excuses on the long delay in reposting chapters, just a quick brief on what happened so readers aren't in the dark.

I took a mental break the end of 2020 before my last semester of graduate school in the spring. My last semester, which is now half over, ended up being crazier than I thought. And somewhere in the middle of all this, when I was about to re-post the chapters here after the Wattys 2020 ended, I got overwhelmed by personal issues at home including the recent death of my uncle due to Covid-19. The whole family had contracted it unknowingly from someone in their circle, but the rest of them are okay. And here I am now.

I don't want to lecture on pandemic safety as I'm sure you've all been hounded a lot about it already. But again, please, be considerate toward everyone. Even something 'minor' is a risk still, so I urge you to not take anything lightly, including if you or someone you love is feeling sick. You really never know what may happen or who you might affect.

>> I'm not confident if I'm posting the most recent completed story version that's also found on Wattpad because I saved chapters on there and here somewhat differently.

Upcoming Notices:

>> Final Version (not this one which has been reposted) will be released in May 2021 after school has ended, and I've made final revisions.

>> Shortly after this final version, I'll begin the second book of the series, estimated to be in the summer of 2021

>> As the pandemic is still continuing, and my plans after graduate school are now a bust due to it, I'll be dedicating the rest of the year to writing and achieving my creative dreams while I financially and opportunity-wise (time and restricted circumstances) are able to for a short period.

Further Notes:

To make it in time for the Wattys 2020 competition, my first time trying this contest out, I had to cut the end of my first book short. So, the current ending does not meet my satisfaction. I already began writing the 'proper' ending the end of last year, and this resulted in me over time rethinking many aspects of my story and writing.

Ultimately, this led me to having a sort of 'eureka' moment about my entire series and this first book which is the foundation of all future events. So this Final Version I mentioned above will have the biggest changes in the story than all the previous versions before. Additionally, it WILL be the last. Otherwise, I really won't make it past book one if I continue improving and revising it repeatedly because I'm unsatisfied or think of better ideas to implement. 😂

Message to You, my much appreciated Reader:

Thank you. Thank you so much for taking this journey with me. I know it's a journey scattered with lapses and likely frustrating revisions before ever seeing the end; however, that's all the more why I'm thankful that you've stuck around. This story of mine is my baby, my only passion I've ever found and seriously tried to stick to for what will be five years now. I've learned so much, both from all of your comments and feedback of which I always take into consideration and gain much motivation from reading. It's honestly because of you all, and yes, you all here on RR specifically, that I was able to continue ploughing through writing in my life. I hope you will stay to end of this road, this first book at least, but regardless, I appreciate everyone who has taken a chance to pick up reading this story.

See you all again in May in hopefully, more peaceful times.
