《I Came Back In Order To See You》1-14 : Finally

As instructed, Sanya fixed her eyes on her back. At first, there was nothing, but not even a second after, a hollow deep blue circle appeared on the spot. The hollow circle was not really big, only a radius of around 5 centimeters. Without letting Sanya the time to be surprised, 6 blue-colored triangles began to appear on the perimeter of the circle. Then, lines spread on her body from the the circle. One big line went up to her neck, while two groups of tiny-sized lines went each to a shoulder. After passing the shoulders and the arms, they ended at the top of the hands. The entire thing looked some kind of a tattoo. The hollow circle and the 6 triangles were rotating in sync at slow pace
Sanya looked at this amazed. Magic and sword arts were surprising, but she still found it comprehensible. However, she could not guess what type of power this was. Fortunately, Talia was here to explain. “This is an Angel Exo-Skill. The skill vary from a pattern to another, and the faster the pattern in the middle is, the stronger is the output of the skill.”
“Angel? like the humans with wings in the bible? Don’t tell me you also have wings.” Sanya had difficulties making the link between an angel and this tattoo. However, Talia’s face became extremely bitter. The volume of her voice was low.
“Angel...Yes, This kind of things. Aaaah, these pigeons were so annoying, especially this damn Seraphin...Luckily, this awakened, otherwise…”
“Did you say something?” Sanya was not facing Talia and she was speaking too low. So, she could not hear her. Talia turned around to face her and shook her head.
“No, it’s nothing. I just recalled something. Anyway, no I don’t have wings. The only link between an angel and this power is the name. In my case, I can do this.” As she said this, Talia’s eyes were fixed on the chair near Sanya’s desk. The deep blue tattoo glowed faintly, causing Sanya to look at it. The pattern in the middle rotated faster than before and seemed to provide some energies to the lines, especially the big line relied on the neck.

Suddenly, Sanya saw something moving from the corners of her eyes. Turning her head, her chair was still near the desk, or rather the chair was levitating near the desk. Not only the chair, even books, the computer and the desk itself were also floating around.
“So...this is like a Force-oriented ability.” A lot of different abilities could produce the same result using various means, so there was not one unique name for it. Instead, The Union decided to group them under the name Force-oriented abilities. Telekinesis was also the name of one of these abilities.
Talia put down the things that were floating and started to explain.
“Angel Exo-Skill Force Control. This is the official name. Personally, I just call it Telekinesis.” Even without an ability, Talia knew the name of a few wide-spread abilities, and Telekinesis was one of them. So, when she got this power she decided to name it like this. Sanya could not help but have questions about Talia’s powers. She had not explained how she got them. It’s true that a sword art could be learned, same for a magic system. But what about this Angel Exo-Skill? It didn’t look like something that can be studied or practiced. However, Talia interrupted Sanya’s line of thought.
“The magic system that I use lacks a magic like this. In some magic systems, it is possible to use mana to hold objects at distance and so on. However, the rules in the magic that I use does not allow me to do this. So, this skill is quite a good fit for me. What do you think? Amazing, right?” Talia held her chin high in pride. Seeing her playful attitude, Sanya decided to play along.
“Yes! Amazing!” Sanya smiled brightly at Talia. Seeing this pure smile Talia was in a daze for a few moments. Her prideful expression totally vanished. A lot of emotions overflowed her. Gathering her courage, it didn’t take her long before she decided to act. She adjusted her clothes properly and fixed her hair. Her Angel Exo-skill also disappeared. Her eyes were filled with determination and nervousness.
Meanwhile, Sanya had grabbed a nearby cushion and hugged it. Her eyes closed as she was thinking of the day. Today had been a long day. Talia had come back after living outside of the world for 50 years. She also had become very strong. At least, the strongest on earth. However, it seemed she didn’t get strong without putting a lot of efforts. There were marks from these hard times, like the scar. Nevertheless, Sanya was overjoyed. Talia was back and safe. She even came back for her. Thinking about this, a special feeling welled up inside her chest. her eyelids opened slightly as she looked in the air. ‘It seems that I was not mistaken. This feeling...It’s-’

“S-Sanya!” Talia’s voice woke her up from her thoughts. Sanya sat down as she looked at the other girl. She was a bit surprised by her sudden loud voice, but not as much as her current appearance. Talia was blushing up to the ears and she was fidgeting around. Sanya sat up in front of her. After taking a few deep breaths, Talia started. Her expression turned serious.
“Sanya, now you know everything. My powers, what I did or what I went through.”
“Yes.” Sanya’s attention was right now entirely focused on Talia.
“So, you know that it’s dangerous to be around me.”
‘...Uh? What am I saying?’
Talia didn’t know what she was saying. At first, she had wanted to say only one thing, but an unknown part of her had taken the lead. Sanya continued to listen to her, but the more she heard the more confused she was.
“I might also be involved in dangerous situations. As a Protector, I will surely face powerful enemies. Those enemies might also target my family, my friends and the people that I think as precious. I know that I am powerful, but it is possible that I would not be able to prevent something from happening.”
Talia finally understood what was going on. She was feeling anxious. When she had seen Sanya after 50 years, she had not been able to control her emotions. But, after having told the situation to her, she realized the danger for those around her. She had seen horrible things in the past 50 years. She didn’t want these kinds of things to happen to her. At this point, Talia was looking downward with a face close to tears.
Sanya didn’t take much time to also realize the problem. Unconsciously, she also recalled the last week and the terrifying moment that she went through. However, thanks to this terrible period she had discovered something important. A special feeling that she was not aware of until now. Ultimately, before Talia’s struggle, Sanya slightly smiled. ‘Silly girl.’
“It’s for this reason that, maybe, you kno-”
“Talia.”
Talia raised her head. Her expression was ashen and tears could be seen at the corners of her eyes. her face became dumbstruck when she saw Sanya’s smile. Even so, Sanya continued.
“I know you lived 50 years outside of this world, so I may sound pathetic. But, the 10 days when you were not here was like hell for me. Each moment I was thinking that maybe I would never see you again. If this were the case I don’t know if I would still be sane.” She reached her fingers to wipe the glittering tears. As her hands returned she caressed her cheeks.
“I said that I will always be there for you, no matter who you are. So please, be always here for me no matter what happens. I want to be with you. Sorry for being selfish.” Talia opened her eyes wide. Sanya’s smile was like the sun for her. All the negative emotions in her vanished, melted by the blooming radiance. Talia’s earlier uneasy was totally gone. Her unstable emotions calmed instantly.
She swore that she will not hesitate for now. She would have the life she wants using the powers that she acquired. Talia closed her eyes and heaved a small sigh, releasing the remains of the dark emotions.
‘Thank you, Sanya.’
Talia finally opened her eyelids and looked directly at Sanya’s eyes. Her gaze was absolutely clear and resolute. Her will was unwavering, like a blazing star. her lips opened.
“Sanya”
After 50 years of waiting, the blue-haired girl did it.
“I love you.”

How to become an evil overlord!
Nicolas Aukye kinda hates life, just kinda. There are many good things about life, and he knows that. The problem is, it's a bit difficult to enjoy life when you are trapped within the white walls of a hospital. Don't get me wrong, he doesn't have cancer or some other depressing incurable illness, nor is he lonely and sad, and he is definitely not just plain cuckoo. There's nothing wrong with him, except for the fact that he has two personalities, but that's not important. It wasn't something he was born with, nor something he resents. He just changed a bit when his mother locked him in an abandoned cellar for a few years, and he had to get on with life eating rats 'n' stuff. As I said, don't sweat the small details, and he's fine, because all that stress is gone once he massacres and wrecks havoc for a bit, oh, not in real life, of course, he's not in jail. Like I explained, perfectly normal, just don't mind the small details too much. (First story, I get C in English so, not a good sign. Trying to improve writing skills.) (casual story, lacks effort. I'm as lazy as Tanaka-kun (reference to tanaka-kun is always listless) you are warned) (Inspired by some of my favourites, Everybody loves large chests, Re:Hamster, World Seed and more) (Please don't kill me for mistakes, I'm probably gonna make a sh*t ton of em) (Also, how do I upload a cover page from my Ipad?)

Stories Of Indlu
“… to grow, for opportunity, for adventure, to be free. Join the colony ship Nao Vittoria. Be the first to live amongst the stars.” It was obvious from the literature that the NextStar corporation wanted the young, the adventurous and the brilliant. So why were the super rich fighting over seats? Why were AI’s trying to stow away? Did this signify a premature end to human/AI civilisation? Why had some questions directed to NextStar been aggressively sidelined? Why did the colonist inflight entertainment trial produce fatalities? In fact, why colonists at all? Those and many other questions, however, boiled down to a single central question. Why was the world’s most advanced AI dumped with a hundred year babysitting job for 50 million people speeding towards an uninhabitable planet? It made such little sense. The only sure way to get answers, catch a ride on the Nao Vittoria and play the inflight entertainment game, Pax Domini. I joined, and this is my story. Well, I feature. OK, I’m more of a spectator. Actually, I’m completely irrelevant I was just there. I’m only the storyteller. But what a story to tell. --------- Hi All, Content will be published weekly usually Saturday and typical posts will be 25oo to 4ooo words per post. Though for some reason the Royal Road word count does not include the content of tables so some posts may not appear to meet this criteria. Currently I have written sufficient unedited content to keep this schedule for the next 12 months (half way through the first story arc). My current productivity would indicate that I can maintain this schedule for well into the second story arch. This also allows for the additional content that will be posed exclusively on Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/StoriesOfIndlu). This additional content follows minor characters, peripheral events, maps and other content that does not take away from the main story. I would love to accelerate the post schedule but to meet this I need the assistance of more beta readers than I currently have. So please let me know if you are interested. - Andy ©2022 Andy Leauter.
