CHAPTER 32: The forest boar town

As the skill deactivate, I would wait a couple of minutes and reactivate it again. Within those minutes, the balloon will lose the heat from the air inside and we will descend faster. I reactivate my skills again to help slow us descend so we don't go crashing straight to the ground. I tried to make a little movement as possible to prevent the after-effects of the sickness to happen.

“I-I'm sorry.” She apologized again and again as we descend, and I just continued to ignore her.

Once we get down, I’m leaving your ass in the forest. Find your way to the town you shit.I say in my mind as I tried my best to hold back my anger. Doing something stupid as fighting with her in this position can cause us to fall down. I rather not die just to get even with her. I already have done enough to get her out and down towards the forest. She can fend for herself.

I notice we’re getting closer to the ground as the trees become bigger and bigger until they look quite large in size. It looks like a safe distance for me to just jump down but I just waited for the skill to disappear and the balloon to slowly go down the forest making us descent onto the trees. My foot started grazing the top of the trees and I feel leaves being ripped off its branch. Somehow, we’re moving forward as if we’re in a jet traveling just right above the trees making everything into a blur. I took out the diamond sword I’ve been using the whole time and prepared myself for impact.

“Heaven’s slice!” I shouted my skill and my sword glowed a bright white color while it vibrated on my hand. Using my sword, I brought it down towards the forest in front of us and a white crescent light went through the trees cutting its branches. The ground below erupted and a strong gust of the wind flowed upwards bringing along dust and leaves. My vision started spinning and I close my eyes to prevent myself from seeing the world rotate vigorously. The balloon picked up some height but we slowed down a bit as we started to descend again. We finally entering the forest as I feel branches scraping against my clothes up until I have leaves going against my face.

“Ack!” I braced myself as I cover my face from being slapped by the branches. I hear twigs snap as we descend more into the forest and now my whole body is being slapped around as I go through trees. All of a sudden, my body was suddenly pulled back making me lose air for a brief moment as my lungs get pressed against the harness and Suyeon. like a bungee cord, we went flying back where we came from and started free falling down towards the ground again. The balloon was caught in the branches above and we both hanged from it swaying side to side. I feel Suyeon still grabbing me tight and I tried to hold myself from vomiting as the flame sickness effect is acting up again. Once it subsided, I look down and we’re in a height that I can survive but I don’t know if she can without breaking a bone.

“Chef’s Coat. H-hey. Let go for a fucking minute.” I whisper and I see my skin glows brightly. I feel the arms around my neck loosening their grip as she leaned back to look what’s below us. Without warning, I use the sword on my hand and I swung right above me cutting us away from the balloon. Even with the abrupt movement of my arms, the world spun as I fall making me close my eyes. We both started falling with my back towards the ground and I can feel her lodging her head on my chest with her hands gripping my shirt as she braces for impact. I felt my back hit the ground as leaves around me was blown away and the sound echoed throughout the whole forest ringing my ears. I was protected by my skill, so I took little to no damage at all. As quickly as the sound erupted from the impact, as quickly as it disappeared getting replaced by the ambient noise of trees moving with the wind as it whistles past me. I hear rustling noises as animals run through bushes probably trying to get away from us and the sounds mixed with a water stream that is faintly echoing from a distance.

“Ha, haha finally. I’m outside.” I whisper as I slowly open my eyes and look up. I see the sun shining through the trees at certain spots. Birds flew around everywhere, and I feel the cool breeze of the wind flow through my hair swaying it. But this all soon became a nightmare as soon as the wind changed its direction making me smell the pungent odor of her urine slowly drying up on my clothes.

“Dammit, this fucking stinks!” I say slowly sitting up with her. We’re still both tied together, and I wasted no time cutting us loose with the sword.

I don’t care if my world spin, I rather have it spin that be locked in with someone covered in piss!I cursed her in my mind as I worked on the mosquito skin typing us together. As soon as I got her loose, I placed my hand on her front shoulders and pushed her off me with such force that she fell backward on the ground.

“Ack!” I hear her yelp in pain as she lands on her elbow and we’re both quiet again as our world spins one more time.

“Fucking sickness! Fuck!” I cursed as I get frustrated that every move, I do is making my vision spin. As soon as I’m back to normal, I inspect myself and the front of my pants reeked of piss. If I was wearing white, it’ll probably look like I peed on myself.

“Fuck!” I shouted not even wanting to touch anything.

“I-I’m s-s-orr-“

"Don't fucking touch me," I say as I see her come close trying to do god knows what. I see her face is plastered with worry and she's on the verge of tears. The clothes I gave her aren't dark color so the piss stain showed completely. I slowly stood up and I closed my eyes trying to pinpoint where the stream of water is.

I remember I saw a small body of water towards our right so that’s the way I should go.I slowly open my eyes and I see her slowly standing up. Still agitated about everything that has happened since I met her, I bumped her back down making her world spin as the flame sickness got the best of her. Since I didn’t make any sudden movement when I bumped into her, my vision didn’t spin around as I watched her cover her mouth trying not to gag.

"Now we're even," I mutter as I slowly regain my composure and stored the diamond sword in my bag. I didn’t want to waste any more time so I started walking towards where I think a stream should be. I hear her scramble up and speed walking trying to follow me. I started speed walking but no matter how fast I go, she’s always a few ways to me. I couldn’t run since the sickness would just activate so I gave up trying to lose her as she followed me through the forest.

"Get in front of me." I snarl at her and she quickly did as I still feel uncomfortable with someone walking behind me. It wasn’t long till we reached the stream of water and I quickly submerge myself up to my waist. The water felt cool and I just stood there as water flows through me and my clothes. I quickly took off everything I’m wearing except my underwear. It’s not really underwear but one of the cloths pants I found in the hidden dungeon and just turned it into a boxer short by cutting its legs. I slowly move towards where there’s sunlight shines down on. The stream wasn’t that strong since the water was shallow enough and I can sit down, and the water level goes up to my neck.

“I wish I had a damn soap," I mutter as I sat down to scoop up water placing it over my head. Then I submerged my head as I held my breath. I loved the silence the water brings, and I stayed down for as long as my breath can hold. I quickly stood up as I felt a strain in my lungs gasping for air.

"Hah, that feels good," I whisper as I use my fingers combing my hair backward. I look towards my left and see Suyeon testing the waters like a curious little kid.

Yasu, what is she doing? I asked myself as I watch her dip her foot in and out of the water. I know, I got better things to do. We need to find an overlord.

I slowly stood up and started walking towards her. She notices my approach and she froze in place as she used her eyes to trace my body from my chest down towards my waist.

“What the fuck are you doing?” I asked her and she somehow broke off of her gaze and looked nervous averting my gaze. “What? Are you going to fucking walk around reeking like piss?”

I tell her and she somehow understood that when she looked down, she probably smelled it and slowly walked into the water.

I wish I can drag her to the middle of the stream and let the water flow her away. I say in my mind as I held myself back thinking about my flame sickness. I was sick and tired of gagging nonstop so I waited till she slowly walked towards the deeper end but she stopped when the water was around her knees.

“Move further, it’s warmer over there by the sun. The last thing I want is for you to catch another fever making me carry you.” I tell her with an irritated voice, but she didn’t move and looked at me. “What?”

“I-I- I don’t know how to swim.” She replied making me raise an eyebrow.

Kick!

I kicked her in her hips making her fall sideways on the water. The world spun and I closed my eyes to lessen the effect. As I slowly open my eyes, I see her flailing around in the shallow water as she vomits everywhere.

“Pffft! Bwahahahahaha!” I laughed at the scene as it was the funniest thing I saw. It was the first time I‘ve seen someone drown and vomit at the same time. And on shallow water nonetheless.

“Bleargh! H-Help-bleeeeerghh!” She tried saying she flails around. I walked slowly towards her and grabbed the back of her shirt and help her up. I saw her keep her eyes closed as she coughed water and vomit out of her mouth. Her body went still for a moment probably waiting for the sickness to subside. Once she calmed down, she opened her eyes and looked at me with such hatred. But not the same hatred she had in the beginning. This look didn’t remind me of myself. I let go of her shirt and she fell on her ass in the water. Her world probably is spinning again as she closed her eyes and covered her mouth as she sat in the water without moving an inch. I slowly started walking towards the sunlight away from her as the water around her is full of vomit that’s slowly moving down the stream. I found a large rock near the center and I sat on it. I see her from the distance as she slowly walked towards my way focused on the water below her probably trying not to slip.

“Holy hell…” I whisper as I see the outline of her chest through her wet t-shirt. Somehow, it got bigger than before when I saw her naked. Her body has gained enough mass that she lost her skeletal structure. Her arms are still thin but now that I noticed, her hips got bigger giving her an hourglass figure. I see her look up and I quickly look ahead averting her gaze and started talking in my mind.

One thing my mother taught me, don’t be a pervert. Treat girls with respect. So don’t go there Yasu. I talked to myself in my brain.Respect? You just kicked her twice in one day. Ha. You got a point.She’s a witch. A fucking witch. A witch that should never be trusted.

And.

And…

…Remember, Yasu. Never trust anyone. Not even me.

I felt all my urges float away with the water as I look at the stream with a cold gaze.

"Yea I won't," I whisper to myself as I lay on my back and stare at the sky. The night quickly covered the sky and I decided to camp near the stream to be close to our only source of water. I lent her a blanket as we both hung our clothes near the fire to let it dry up. It was good I collected the blankets and bed covers in the safe room from the sky kings dungeon a year ago. I took out Mole’s fur and used it as a blanket to cover myself. I took great care of his fur and take it out when I really need it. I placed a couple of meat on a stick and let it barbecue over the fire. After it cooked, I told her to take her portion while I took mine and ate in silence. She did the same showing to the little sign of interest in talking. After eating, she fell asleep as I sat around awake. No matter how tired my body is, I can’t seem to sleep due to her presence. I wanted to leave her but, my past keeps haunting me as I remembered how I was left behind. To break my mind of it, I started going over the items in my bag.

“A bag full of diamonds, a couple of weapons, and a couple of book including a black book with nothing on it, a couple of utensils, and other crap," I whisper laying it out in front of me. I notice the boots and the gloves that I can probably give to Suyeon since she's a dancer class. But the last thing I want is giving her the strength to murder me.

"She can go kick rocks," I say as I store all of the items in my bag. "Wait, how about this?"

I held the book I got from the hidden chest that can only be opened by a dancer class.

If I give this to her, it will keep her busy until we reach the village and won't pester me with her fucking apologizing rants.I say in my mind. I slowly stood and placed the book near her head and I slowly go back towards where I sat and fiddled with the fire all night. Morning came and when she woke up, she thanked me nonstop for the book. I had her lead the way as we both follow the stream. She managed to open the book like nothing and have been reading its contents ever since. I have noticed some animals like bear, boars, even some wolves around the area but none of them attacked us but just glared at Suyeon ignoring me completely. She ignored them in return. Or I should say, she didn’t even notice as she was too caught up with the book, I gave her. As we walk near the stream, I notice a beaten down path that leads into the middle of the forest.

“Wait!” I shouted at her but she’s too focused on reading and kept walking ahead. “Tch.”

I grab a small rock and I threw it with little to no force since I didn’t want to gag again. The rock flew and tapped her head. She quickly looked around and was frantic when she couldn’t find me. Then she quickly grabbed her mouth trying not to gag.

“Fucking idiot! Over here!” I shouted at her and she looks at me with worry. “Hurry up!”

She nods in apology as she speeds walk in towards me. We both slowly follow the path until the gravel turned into bricks.

“Fucking, Finally!” I shout in victory as I see a village, or I would say a small town. There’s a sign on top the path and written in it was forest boar town. As we enter the town, a man standing near the entrance stopped us.

“Halt! Welcome to forest boar town. Can I ask why do you co-” The man froze the minute his gaze turned to Suyeon. “W-w-w-welcome.”

His face lit up a happy smile as he held his hand out towards her. She held it out her hand and them both shakes hands for a long time. I see he likes it while she just looks at his hands confused.

He likes her.I say in my mind. This is good. Let me slowly leave these two alone. Finally! We part ways! Bye bye~

I sneak past the guard who's too busy staring at Suyeon with an unbeatable smile. Suyeon notice me leaving and she quickly let go of the man’s hand and speed walk to get in front of me.

“what are you doing?” I say glaring at her.

“H-hey miss. I didn’t catch your name!” The guard behind me happily says as he approaches us.

"Give me your hand," I say holding out mine towards her. The minute she grabbed my hands, I yanked her towards me with a bit of force and her body went forward as her head went slightly back and forth like a bobblehead. Then she quickly dropped on her knees and held mouth with both hands trying not to vomit. Since I didn't move my arms much, I didn't get sick. I turn to the guard behind me who are now sprinting towards my way.

“M-mister! This lady has a flame sickness! I-I was paid to bring her here. W-w-would you be so kind and escort her?” I asked him and he gave me a stance as if he’s someone with authority.

“Worry not, young man. I shall escort this maiden to get her flame sickness cured. Your task is completed. If you have accepted your payment. You may go.” He tells me and I see Suyeon look at me with worry as the guard help her up.

“T-thank you, sir!” I tell the guard then I look back at Suyeon and gave her a smirk.

Maiden? Dude has a few screws loose.I say in my mind as I turn around to explore the town.

“Finally. Freedom.” I whisper to myself as I walk towards the town’s center. “She can fend for herself. Sooner or later, those pricks would probably find her.”

I walked further following the brick road until I see there’s a statue taking a piss right in the middle of the fountain. A bunch of copper circles is scattered around probably what people used to make a wish onto the pissing kid in the middle.

Are these the currency in this world? I asked in my mind inspecting one of them then throwing it back in the fountain. I looked around the center and there are signs pointing to different direction to another street.

"Forest boar inn, Forest boar item shop, forest boar library, forest boar hall, Forest boar street market, Forest boar health center, what the fuck everything is named forest boar," I mutter as I followed the sign that points towards the street where the item shop is. I can start there since, in most games, those places have the most information next to the guild hall, but I don’t see any guild hall on the signs. Might not have a guildhall at all in this town or maybe this world. Once I got close to it, I see a lady sweeping leaves outside of the store. The minute we met our eyes, she froze in place looking at me while I approached her.

“Uh, do you manage this shop?” I asked her and she just nods. “Uh, are you open?”

She nods again but just stood there looking at me.

“Hello?” I say waving my hand in front of her eyes and she breaks off her gaze.

“O-oh I’m sorry! I just never seen a person look like you. U-um c-come in.” She says as she quickly goes to the door and opens it for me. As I enter, I see weapons armors, empty bottles, and even books organized everywhere.

“S-so, how can I help you?” She asked me as she quickly goes behind a counter.

“Do you have any potion to cure something called flame sickness?” I asked her.

“I certainly do! Give me a minute!” She said and she quickly runs towards the open door behind her and came out holding a box. When she opened it, there were tiny bottles with black liquid inside.

I grab one out of the box and inspect it. “This cure flame sickness?”

“Yea, one bottle will be enough to cure the sickness. Is a party member of yours sick?” She asked me.

“No, I’m sick. How much is one?” I asked her and she looked at me surprised.

“W-w-wait. You have flame sickness?” She asked surprised. “H-how are you able to walk?!”

“Uh, I don’t know. I only get the sickness when I move to fast. So how much?” I asked again.

If I have to ask one more time how much, I’m going to vomit on her face. I say in my mind as I started to get irritated.

“Oh, I’m sorry. That would be 2 silver chip.” She tells me.

Shit. I don’t have any. I whisper in my mind thinking of a way to pay her.

“Uh, I don’t have any money on me right now but, is it possible to trade a weapon for it?” I asked her.

“Sure! As long as the value of the weapon is the same or more than 2 silver.” She said happily.

“Ok give me a minute. Item bag.” I say and my bag materializes in front of me and I managed to catch it.

“D-d-did you just call out a dimensional bag?!” She says as her eyes go wide looking at my bag.

"Uh, yeah," I tell her.

“Where did you get it?! How much do you want for it?! Would you sell it?!” She started bombarding me with questions.

“I just have it. It’s not for sale. And no, I won’t sell it.” I tell her.

This girl is seriously irritating me. Why do they all act so damn surprised? I say in my mind as my patience is starting to run short.

“Can we get on with business? I need the potion really bad.” I tell her.

“O-o sure! Sorry about that. Please show me what you have.” She tells me as she stared on my bag. I took out one of the swords I got in the hidden dungeon since it might give me at least a couple of silver for it. The minute I place the sword down on the counter, her eyes went wide in shock, again.

This fucking clerk. Her eyes go wide more frequent that she probably sells stuff. I say in my mind.

“W-w-where did you-“

“Where did I get it? A hidden dungeon. Yes, it’s for sale.” I tell her answering her questions before she even asked them.

She picked up the sword and studied it thoroughly. “120 gold.”

“Huh?” I asked getting caught off guard.

“Ok ok, 200 gold. Take it or leave it.” She tells me.

“W-wait you’re saying this cost 200 gold?” I asked her getting confused. I thought the sword itself is cheap and was only trading it for one bottle.

“Alright, the best offer I can give you is 230 gold plus a box of the flame sickness potion.” She tells me as she gives me a pleading look.

“Uh…um deal?” I say not knowing what’s going on. But if I’m getting a lot of money along with this potion, I’ll take it.

“Yay! Ok, give me a minute.” She ran back in with the sword in hand and a couple of minutes, she came out with three big pouches.

“Ok, here is one hundred and twenty-nine gold chips, ten thousand silver chips, and ten thousand copper chips. I apologize but I don’t have enough gold to give you so I broke it down also for your own convenience.”

“No problem. But, can I ask about the currency system? I’m afraid I’m not from these lands.” I tell her.

“Hahaha, you sound exactly like the lords of the gold city.” She tells me smiling.

Lords? Gold city? Those bastards came by here? I see they’re too busy play pretending.I say in my mind.

“Ok, this is a copper chip. This is the lowest currency here in this continent. This is a silver chip. You can obtain these by collecting 100 copper chips and exchanging them for one silver chip or finding them inside dungeons. This is a gold chip, you can obtain these by collecting 100 silver chips or also finding them inside a dungeon. The highest currency that is made only for wealthy individuals are diamond rocks. One diamond rock is equivalent to 1,000,000 gold chips. But the diamond rocks can only be found inside the dungeon or when you mine deep within the ground. The bigger the rock, the higher the value is.” She explained.

Holy shit. I have a couple of diamonds different shapes in my big that cost like millions of golds chips!I whisper in my mind thinking about the bag of diamonds and the diamond sword I have. No, we made a promise. We will bring that home to our mother.I know and I will never break that promise. But, we’re walking millionaire. Now that you put it that way…

“Ha!” I say in excitement making a sudden movement. The whole place started spinning and it’s making me gag.

“C-customer are you all right?!” She asked me.

“Ughh, I’m fine. It’s this stupid sickness.” I whisper as I slowly stand up. I opened one of the bottles and decided to chug it. I almost gag, as the taste is equivalent to a liquid form of a pure coffee bean. It was so bitter that the aftertaste didn’t come off my mouth.

“Ugh, the hell is this?” I say as I finish one tiny bottle.

“Ah ha ha, yeah it’s bitter. Wait. Here.” She hands me a bag of mints. “It’s in the house. The flame sickness should be gone but you might want to rest in this town for a few days to recuperate.” She explained to me and I just nod. I accepted the free candy and stored it in my bag along with the bag of coins and box of flame sickness potion.

“Oh, since I’m here. Do you have any health potion?” I asked her.

“I’m afraid not. Those are too expensive for me to obtain and definitely too expensive for the travelers who pass here. Those can only be found within the cities.” She replied to me.

"How about any other potion for a different type of sickness and poison," I asked her.

“Oh, I do have. Which one do you want to buy?” She asked me.

"All of them," I tell her and she gave me a big smile and quickly ran in the back coming out of 7 boxes stacked on top of one another. She placed the boxes top of the counter and laid them out one by one.

“Ok here is all of them. Each box has a paper explaining each potion.” She tells me.

“How much?” I asked her.

“U-um. Rather than cash. Do you perhaps…have another weapon you want to sell?” She tells me. I gave her a fake smile and her face went red. Then I took out another sword in my bag and handed it to her. She happily accepted and I took all the boxes and placed them in my dimensional bag one by one.

“Any place around here that has good food?” I asked her.

"The best place to grab a bite is the forest boar inn! They have a restaurant in the entrance and an inn on the second floor and above. They even built rooms with their own private bath! Just walk in and go to the bar. The bar is also the front desk for the inn above.” She explains to me and I just nod and turned without saying a word. As I was about to leave the shop, she stopped me by the entrance. “Wait! If you’re staying at the inn, do you want to buy some personal hygiene materials like soap or shampoo? They don’t have those in there.”

This chick is a saleswoman for sure. But then again, I’ll need stuff. I’ll be here for a couple of days until my flame sickness disappear.

"Ok, show me what you have," I say as I turn back around. After an hour or so in the item shop, I came out with everything from a pen, paper, rope, every fucking material I can think off.

"I feel like I got forced into buying things," I mumble as I ponder that I just lost a sword form the dungeon just for some toothbrush which is in my hand. The toothbrush handle was made out of wood the bristles have a tan color in them.

Oh well, a toothbrush is a toothbrush.I say in my mind as I blew into my hand trying to smell my breath.

“I definitely need to brush my teeth…” I muttered as I follow the sign to get to the boar's inn. Once it’s in my sight, it looks like a hotel from the outside, but with only three floors. The entrance is the same as those swinging doors from cowboy movies. I push the swinging doors and the loud creak it made brought everyone’s attention to me. They all stopped talking and doing whatever they’re doing and stared at me as I walked towards the bar.

“Uh, how much is a room?” I asked a big burly man standing on the other side of the counter cleaning a beer mug.

“Ye not from around here are ye?” He asked me.

“Um, no shit Davey Jones," I tell him getting irritated.

Why can’t people in this place just give me the answers without fucking asking me questions first!I scream in my mind.

“Ya a feisty one hahaha one thing ye adventurers need to survive.” He tells me and when I was about to say something again, he continued talking. “I got rooms to spare. A days’ worth of stay cost bout’ one silver. If ye is going to stay a few sunsets, a week will be Seven silver chips. If ye want to get them private rooms. Those will cost ye 1 gold per day. Seven gold for the whole seven sunrises. Which one ya want?”

"Let me get the private room," I tell him trying to understand what he just said.

“Yous a rich feller aren’t ye.” He tells me as I hand him seven gold coins. I didn’t respond and quickly took my key. They told me to wait until they get the room ready. In the meantime, I sat at one of the empty tables near the corner where I know no one would bother me. One of the waitresses gave me a menu and the first thing that caught my attention was braised fish platter combination.

"I'll have this one," I tell the waitress right away and she took the menu away from me and walked away smiling. A couple of minutes, she comes back with a glass of water and a couple of minutes after that, she came out with my meal. The dish was a whole fish along with a bowl of rice and some side dishes.

"Mom," I whisper to myself. I know there were other better choices on the menu but that one had a special meaning to me. The braised fish platter combination was the last thing my mother ordered before I was taken to this planet. I know it might not be the same but the name itself makes it harder for me to swallow.

If everything went right that day, I would have gone to the restaurant, got it for her, and we would have eaten dinner normally together. But now, I’m eating by myself and she’s probably doing the same.I whisper in my mind looking at my food without taking a bite.

I quickly took a bite and it was heavenly. All I have been eating is food with hardly any seasoning. But this, I can taste every ingredient they put in it. onions, garlic, soy sauce, the way the cooked the fish by lightly frying it then stew is slowly right after.Everything was the first for me. Meeting actual people, eating properly cooked food, I finally made it out those hell holes. For the first time, I felt alive.

I’m alive. I survived. These words repeated in my mind as I continued to eat in silence. After finishing my plate, the same waitress came and took the empty plate and came back with a tiny plate with peeled apples. Since my meals are part of the private room, I ate it without hesitation and after finishing it, the same waitress approached me.

“U-um s-sir. H-Have you finished eating? Is it there anything else you want?” She asked me.

“No. I’m done. Is my room ready?” I asked her.

“Y-yes. Come follow me.” She says nervously as she averts my gaze. I see her face is turning red and she quickly turns around walking towards the steps on the left. I silently followed her as we went up the second and then the third floor. We walked down the corridor until we reach a room towards the end. “H-here is your room. If you need anything please don’t hesitate to let me know. Just look for me. Only me.” She quickly speeds walk back where we came from.

“What the hell is wrong with these people?” I whisper as I slide my key into the hole and turn it hearing a couple of clicks until the door opened slightly. I slowly push and once the door opened completely, I was exposed to what looks like a five-star hotel suite. There is a large bed toward one side and a couch right next to a small coffee table right in front of it. Towards the other end, there's a table pushed against near the window and a notebook on top of it. A sticky note was on top of the notebook and within the note had a word written on it.

“Complimentary.” I read it out loud. “Haha, reminds of hotels back at home…”

I remember painful memories with good and bitter ones of me and my mother. This is one of those moments where I felt I’m one step closer to getting home. This inn lets me taste a little bit of my home planet and somehow, I felt so many emotions surging through me. I decided to inspect the room more and I spot another door. As I open it, I see an onsen. There’s water coming out of the wall onto a miniature hot spring. The water on the hot spring itself is a crystal green color and smoke was coming out of it. I dip my hand into it and the temperature is perfect.

"Maybe I should take a bath," I say to myself since most of the time I've been bathing on lakes or streams without soap or shampoo. I decided to go back into the main room and called out my dimensional bag. I took out a toothbrush, something called dentifricium which I would say the toothpaste of this world. I also took out a towel, an actual razor, soap, shampoo, and facial scrub. It won't hurt to have proper hygiene in this world. I quickly undress and went towards my own private onsen. For the first time, in a year, I had a proper bath. And I brushed my teeth.

After cleaning myself completely, I wore the new clothes I bought in the item shop. A regular T-shirt and some bottoms that look like sweatpants but more prehistoric. I lay down in bed but I made sure I locked the door before I fall asleep. The sun already set through the horizon and the moon illuminates the whole town as the moonlight reflected onto people’s roof. I decided to open the window to let the cool breeze in. I placed a chair near the window and I sat on it leaning my arms and chest against the window frame looking outside at the night sky. I felt my eyes become heavy, so I decided to close the window and go back to bed. As I was slowly dozing off to a night of deep sleep, I heard someone suddenly bang on my door bringing me back to reality at the worst mood possible. Every impact of whoever’s fist resonated in my mind.

“Fuck! Who the hell…” I shout roughly standing up and walking towards the door. Since there is no peephole, I need to open the door slightly to know who it is but my anger got the best of me as I pulled the door swinging it wide open. She was probably holding onto the handle as she came tumbling down towards the ground.

“You, what the hell do you want now?” I say as I see Suyeon slowly standing up dusting off her knees.

“Y-you left me.” She tells me. I see she changed her clothes and it seems like a dress from a wealthy family.

“Yea I know. Now go away.” I say as I close the door. Right before it closed shut, a hand stopped it and forced it open.

“Stand down peasant. How dare you treat milady after she paid you big money to be able to rent this room.” The guard from earlier said.

Huh?! Is this fucker crazy?! I cursed in my mind as my face contorts in anger. Milady? Since when did she become royalty?

“Peasant? Want some diamonds shoved down in your throat you little bitch?” I snarl back at him.

“W-what did you call me?!” He shouted back almost spitting at me.

“Look you fucks. What the fuck do you want from me? You, Suyeon. I got you out the dungeon, brought you down here, now go on an adventure by yourself and stop pestering me.” I tell her before turning towards the guard standing right beside her.

“And you, you overgrown baboon, watch your mouth before I rip it off.” I stepped forward him and his face started getting red with fury.

"First of all, Milady is unfit to be an adventurer. Second of all, I bet you're just a lowly rank adventurer. Be careful, I have a certain power in this town that will make your life miserable." He taunts me.

“Huh? Me? Be careful? You are fucking be careful around me. I can wipe this town off the face of this planet.” I tell him glaring him down and I can see he’s getting more furious.

“That’s it! Pay for your crimes here and now!” The guard shouts as he draws his sword.

“Why are you so cliché?” I asked him and he didn’t respond as he continued to unsheathe his sword. “Go kick rocks, your noisy shithead. Better yet, want to lose a few limbs?"
