*BOOM!*

All over the Eastern and Northern Regions, explosions were continuously resounding all day and night without rest. People were falling on both sides.

It was now over a month since Miko left the war, since that time both regions were long reduced to a wasteland with only a few countries remain standing. These countries included those in the Seven Moon Alliance. The reason for their survival was their impressive military forces that were bond together as tightly as siblings.

Since facing the same threat, the countries had become incredibly close and were very trusting towards each other. They would immediately come to each other’s aid when facing the enemy.

However, that alone wasn’t the cause for their continued existence. The biggest reason was that Lennox and the other Tyrants and Proxies had turned the Alliance countries into their base of operations. So naturally they received their protection.

You could say the alliance was their last stand.

*BOOM!*

Today at the borders of the alliance’s region, an intense melee broke out.

The fighters were Echo and Ezra.

*BOOM!*

Echo’s fist clashed against a gigantic spear that was thrown by Ezra. The two were breathing heavily and were in ragged clothing. This was to be expected since they were fighting for over 12 hours now.

“Demon Lance.”

Ezra created a pitch black Lance in his hand and charged towards Echo.

“Come!”

Echo roared and charged towards him swinging her fists.

*BOOM!*

The two clashed and caused powerful shockwaves to spread out through the land.

The two then started to throw attacks at each other without care for their own safety.

*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*

Echo’s fist clashed with every thrust of Ezra’s lance. Ezra jumped back and Echo chased after him not letting him get any breathing space.

She lifted her leg up in the air and swung down her heel. Ezra used his lance and blocked it. The earth cracked under him and the land shook.

He pushed the lance upwards and forced her back before chasing after her with a deadly thrust to her face. Echo moved her head out of the way and with a draconian look in her eye, she threw a powerful punch.

*BOOM!*

Her punch released a pink light in the form of a dragon which hit Ezra head on.

“Guh?!”

He was sent flying in the sky. Echo didn’t chase after him and channeled all of her power into fist. A starry aura appeared around her fist as she marked Ezra with her eyes.

“Death Star!”

She thrust her fist forward and a sparkly red beam fired towards Ezra and devoured him.

*BOOM!*

A massive explosion occurred in the sky that shook even the countries in the alliance.

“Tsk.”

Echo looked in the sky and clicked her tongue. That was because Ezra was still in one piece despite being all bloodied.

“Hahahaha! Truly amazing.”

He said with a laugh.

“Now it’s my turn!”

He lifted his hand and gigantic hole appeared in the sky. From it, came a black and gold armor.

“This is my Regalia, a battle armor that was designed to fight even after my death.”

He said.

“With this I’ll keep fighting you even if I die.”

“Well, aren’t you quite the obsessed one.”

Echo said.

(Echo, fall back.)

At that moment Echo received a telepathy message from Rouge.

“Why?”

(Because that armor is bad news, and even if you win you will bring down the wrath of Dante and the Morningstar Empire. We can’t really afford to continue adding enemies when we already have trouble dealing with those we have.)

“Says the guy who killed Rafael’s soldier.”

She complained, but she still did as rouge said and retreated.

“Sorry, handsome. I just remember I left the stove on at home. So I gotta slip.”

She longed out her tongue in a teasing manner before quickly retreating.

“…………”

Ezra froze in place for a while even after she left.

“Huh? What? Stove on? You mean to tell me that I revealed my Regalia for nothing?”

He suddenly looked extremely embarrassed.

“What the fuck?!”

He cursed.

Back in the Seven Moon Alliance.

“She retreated.”

Touma said as she crossed her arms in front of her chest.

“Well, that isn’t exactly a bad thing.”

Said Drake who was sitting eating a stack of burgers.

He was significantly slimmer now than he was at the beginning of the war. That was because there had been dozens of situations over the last month where he had to use his barriers. The more barriers he uses the more fat he burns. If he doesn’t maintain his obesity, he won’t be able to use his ability.

“The Dragna Clan has been extremely savage as of late.”

Said Paige.

“They have been attacking us nonstop and have exhibit dangerous behaviors.”

“That’s because they no longer care.”

Said Lennox.

He was covered in bandages.

Over the last month he has been fighting against the top members of the clan nonstop resulting in his damaged appearance. Of course, the one who gave him the most damage was Nero.

“The Clan has already given up the hope of defending their territory since we already destroyed their capital.”

Lennox explained.

“Now that they’ve lost the place they cared about the most, they’ve thrown all caution to the wind and decided to just destroy everything until no more enemies stand before them.”

“That’s why we were driven back so far that we had to make this our last stronghold."

Skylar said.

“With nothing to care about other than destroying their enemies they’ve reverted to what they were like in the past. A family of savage beasts.”

He said.

When he just joined the Asgard Empire as a General he learnt about the events in the war for supremacy. After learning about what Augustus and his clan did during the war, he was certain.

The Dragna Clan were probably the most dangerous beasts to have ever existed.

He had forgotten that, but after continuously clashing with them over and over again, he remembered.

“Speaking of beasts….”

Touma looked at Lennox.

“Boss, the whole reason I joined this war, you didn’t forget did you?”

Lennox smiled when he heard that.

“Of course not.”

He answered.

“You came because I told you that you could meet Gamion Dragna if you did.”

Gamion Dragna aka Vanishing Dragon Gamion. He was Nero’s second son and Miko’s uncle who shared a fame of similar magnitude as Nova and Rihan.

“That’s right, but I don’t see him anywhere!”

Touma said with a frown.

“I said you could meet him, not you will meet him.”

Lennox replied.

Touma gave him a chilling glare when she heard that.

“Are you messing with me, Human?”

Her dragon eyes started showing when she spoke with anger and bloodlust in her voice.

“Calm down. I’m not messing with you.”

Lennox said with a relax tone.

“I honestly thought that he would appear since his family was in danger, it’s not my fault he didn’t show.”

“Not only him, but Rihan who was thought to be on the continent is nowhere to be seen either. I think it’s rather strange.”

Said Skylar.

“Touma, you’re too obsessed with Gamion.”

Said Paige.

“Huh?!”

When Touma heard her, she turned around and looked at her with a vicious gaze.

“What do you mean too obsessed? That bastard ran away from our fight and left everything unfinished! I’m gonna get a hold of him and crush him with my own hands!”

“Ran away? Didn’t he already beat you?”

Drake said.

“Shut up! That didn’t count!”

Touma roared and said with fire literally coming out her mouth.

This caused Drake to cower in fear.

Seeing him cower, Touma looked back at Paige.

“And you. Aren’t you the kettle calling the pot black?”

She pointed at her and said.

“I have no idea what you mean.”

Paige replied.

“No idea, huh?”

Touma grinned.

“Then you’re saying that you aren’t obsessed with Gian Dragna?”

Gian Dragna was Nero’s third son and Miko’s other uncle. He like his brothers shared a grand fame. He was nicknamed the Record Of Origin.

“I-I have no idea what you’re talking about?”

Paige answered with a cracked voice.

“Hmph. Just so you know, Gamion and Gian are a duo. If Gamion isn’t here then neither is Gian.”

“I-I know that! It’s not like I was sticking around in hopes of seeing him again!”

Paige shouted.

“Wow, you still have that habit of blurring out your true intentions when you get flustered.”

Lennox said with a laugh.

“I have no such habit!”

Paige defended herself, but Lennox wasn’t listening and was only laughing.

“Boss~!”

Elsewhere in the Eastern Region.

*BOOM!*

A mountain was suddenly leveled without warning. Floating above where the mountain once stood, was the father son duo of Nero and Nova.

They were destroying some of the surviving countries while slaughtering anyone they came across.

“Say, Old man.”

Nova spoke to Nero as he destroyed an abandoned city and turned it into a giant crater.

“What is it, Junior?”

Nero answered as he made giant spikes crucified a couple of mountain size hell monsters that were charging towards him.

“Miko said that there were three hells that were opened, right?”

Nova summoned thousands of stars in front of him turned them into swords which slaughtered an army of oni traveling on the ground.

“Yeah. What about it?”

“Which three?”

A rotting dragon and a rotting giant charged at them from both sides.

Nero summoned his avatar and had it cut the giant into four pieces, while nova used his chaos magic to distorted the dragon into a cube of rotting flesh.

“Hm….I think it was Yomi, Jigoku, and Tartarus.”

Nero answered as he turned the giant into ash.

“I see.”

Nova conjured a star cannon and made it blow a hole in the head of a gigantic dragon who was picking a fight with him.

After the dragon had a hole put in him, he was skewered by some spikes that suddenly erected from the ground.

“Hey, wasn’t he also in Tartarus?”

Nova asked after killing the dragon.

“Who?”

Nero asked while continuously smashing the heads of a gigantic hydra that came out of a Black Sea. It had a thousand heads each which regenerated in an instant after being destroyed.

“Gamion.”

Nova replied.

“…….”

Nero was suddenly so surprised that he accidentally used his full strength to hit the hydra.

*BOOM!*

The hydra exploded like a balloon.

“I completely forgot about that.”

He said.

“I just remembered myself.”

Nova approached him and said.

By this time, all the residents of hell were too afraid to approach them and stay clear out of their way.

“He said something about going to investigate his roots by meeting his ancestor.”

Nero said.

“Typhon huh.”

Said Nova.

“If he’s still there than he should be coming out pretty soon when he sees that all the monsters in Tartarus are leaving.”

Nero nodded.

“When that happens, Gian will automatically return from the null zone between dimensions.”

“In other words, those two will be back and probably join the war.”

“……….”

“………”

The two suddenly became silent.

“…..I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing?”

Said Nova.

“Me neither.”

The two sighed in unison.

“Well, let’s store this scenery in our minds so that we can always remember it.”

The two looked at the destroyed wasteland in front of them after Nero said that.

“Because once those two use their abilities to the fullest this continent is history.”
