《Mythical Conquest》Hiatus Announcement

I've been wanting to go on a long hiatus from the moment I thought about creating a patreon. The only reason I didn't was because I was still in the middle of an arc.
So I decided to rush the storyline but it failed big time. Trying to rush it only affected my writing quality. While writing chapters the intention of rushing the story is in the back of my head, however doing made me feel pressured and I was frustrated and slowly began writing myself into a corner.
After a while the rate I wrote chapters significantly slowed down despite knowing what I need to write. However, I tried my best to try and end the arc this month but I reached the point where I couldn't write anything. So I've decided to take a break over the weekend a write a different story, and surprisingly I quickly wrote 4 chapters. I could have written more if I wasn't a bit busy.
So I realized that what I need was a break from mythical conquest. I think it's the right time too since people seem to be loosing interest in the story.
So I'm gonna recharge for a month and be back with a new story which isn't Nine Lives Criminal by the way. It seems that I'm more suited for writing fantasies rather than real world setting stories.
Anyway, the new story is called Pandemonium and here's the quick synopsis:
Anima, the primary source of energy in the world of Animus. It resides in the soul of all living things and in nature itself. It can be used to do all kind of magically things from powering machinery to walking on water. Of course, it can be used for battle as well.
Amelia, a young woman who was considered the most brilliant genius in the history of her small country of Buchse, got caught up in a devious plot by the strongest knight to get rid of her before she grows into someone that threaten his wicked ambitions.

After fighting off countless pursuers, even she had to succumb to the pressure of fighting the entire country's forces. As the situation becomes dire she's saved by a handsome young man.
Now it might sound romantic, but the man was someone she arrested a few days earlier for being drunk and naked in public. By the way, he was still naked when he rescued her.....
There was another strange thing about the man. He claimed to be the legendary mercenary Devil King Rory. Devil King Rory was the leader of a beyond legendary mercenary group called Pandemonium aka the House Of Demons, who were said to be able to challenge any country in the world by themselves, and Rory was said to be the most notorious of them all and was rumored to have destroyed a couple countries on his own. But that was over 100 years ago.
Was this drunken man really the terrifying Rory? If so, why was he the way he is now, a shameless man with no dignity at all?
Follow the adventures of Amelia as she travel the vast world and see all kinds of mystical places. And watch as she slowly learn more about the legend and clash with elements of his past.
What kind of hidden truth will they discover?
now since the story is something I came up on whim it's subject to changes, but I basically want it to be an improved version of Mythical Conquest that is more tamed and not all over the place.
It will focus more on adventure and comedy and less over the top action, but the action will still be great. The story will have a lighter tone but still pretty dark if you pay attention. I'm basically trying to write something more people will enjoy.
Well anyway see you in a month.

Cunning and resourceful, Shaya worked hard to keep her and her brother safe, clawing themselves out of a system set against them and gaining the power they needed to find their way in life again. Now, she’s achieved the first step of her dreams: she's been accepted to the prestigious Imperial Academy of War and Magic. In order to become the best gods damned Warmage around, all she has to do is overcome the Imperial system that wants to see her fail and control the demonic blood in her veins that wants for nothing but rage and violence. ...but hey, every obstacle is an opportunity to exploit – if you’re willing to think smart and work hard. Updates Sunday - Tuesday - Thursday![successful participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Rating: This should align pretty closely with your typical MCU movie, so PG-13 for scenes of fantasy violence. There'll be gore and some swearing but not much beyond that. If that changes, I'll warn you. MC: Shaya is analytical, but begins the story emotional and impulsive. She leans towards rationality and uses this to control her demonic impulses to the best of her abilities. She begins the story as a somewhat capable protagonist, but grows in power steadily through hard work and diligence. Fights: ...I like fight scenes. They’re going to be detailed, but I won’t drown you in description of individual hand movements or footwork. I like fights that can be solved like puzzles by the audience, where creative thinking wins the day using tools you know the protagonist has at their disposal.
