《Mythical Conquest》Is There Anything Greater Than War?

Miko used a period of a couple months to smooth out all of the rough edges in his empire. He allowed each country to keep their native cultures, and ordered the kings under him to use the country’s wealth to better the lives of its citizens at all costs.
He ordered that trade schools were to be built and combat academies as well to groom the countries' future. He had the Tertitus Branch dispatch some of their alchemist to spread their teachings all across the empire.
Since the scale of the upcoming war was far greater than the ones before, Miko also ordered that members of each branch would spread out and create a protective net around the empire.
The Quartus Branch was in-charged of protecting the Empire’s public order, while the Quintus Branch was in charge of fending off enemies.
The citizens of the colonized countries quickly saw improvement in their safety and lifestyle. They also found out that Miko was a kind ruler that didn’t suppress his people, but instead do his best to better them. They soon came to the conclusion that being ruled by Miko was maybe the best thing that had happened to them.
They all had a chance of acquiring an education since it was free. There were more jobs available to them. The crime rate had fallen significantly thanks to the no tolerance policy of the Quartus Branch and Miko’s Imperial Guards. The criminals also weren’t forgotten since the RUA had grown and allowed them to become legal workers.
They also got to met many famous members of the Dragna Clan. Some even taught at the countless schools and academies.
The empire had quickly turned prosperous. However, this was only possible because Miko had full control of everything. There’s were no pesky government officials or aristocrats to oppose him. He was the law.
Of course they were some who wanted to be rebellious, however they were quietly snuffed out by Luka’s Black Hornets who had grown tremendously in size and power after Miko ordered that all covet organizations in the empire would fall under her. Luka quickly gained subordinates far stronger than her. Of course, her position as Miko’s woman eliminated any chances of them defying her.
Jin was even upgraded to vice-commander with thousands under his command.
The rest of Miko’s Generals also received various promotions.
Ace and Sora controlled the Imperial Army, Bloom led the Imperial Guards with Sapphire assisting her, Hina was promoted to Imperial Advisor and had a team of 100 assistants to help her, Edward was the leader of crime world and was known as the Crime God, and Sasha was the Imperial Mother.
With this the Dragna Kingdom had become a real empire that was fully functional.
Today Miko was making a visit to a place he’s never been in his empire, the Flameheart Clan.
He appeared there without warning or prior notice, in fact he just popped up there and scared the guards shitless.
“Hmmm….Not bad.”
Miko said after looking at the grand mansion that belonged to the clan.
“We’re glad to see that you like it.”
Someone walked out of the mansion and greeted him.
“Darwin Flameheart.”
It was Luka’s Grandfather.
“Hail to the emperor.”
Darwin bowed and said.
“There’s no need for all that.”
Miko looked around and spoke.
“There’s also no need for your men to position themselves to attack me. I’m not here to harm your clan in anyway.”
“Is that so? My apologizes.”
Darwin lifted his hand and the men Miko were sensing quietly withdrew.

“I hope that you aren’t offended, but after what happened to the Saevio clan I couldn’t afford to take any chances.”
He said.
“It isn’t a big deal. I know the things that I’ve done and the way people view me because of it. You would be a fool to not have your guard up after I came to visit so suddenly.”
Miko kept a smile on his face.
“As expected of you, you’re very wise and understanding.”
Said Darwin.
“I’m in a hurry, so let get this out the way.”
Miko suddenly said.
“I killed your son, Darius 8 years ago.”
When Darwin heard that his brows twitched.
“I already knew that. There’s no need to remind me.”
“I just chose to address it since I can sense your bloodlust towards me. However, you’re really worthy to be the clan leader. You know how to keep your emotions in check for the greater good of your clan.”
Miko said.
“Darwin, I won’t apologize for what happened to your son, but I believe that I need to make some kind of amends.”
“That’s why you sent Luka to us.”
After Miko advised her to try her best to get along with her family, Luka began visiting the Flameheart clan on a daily basis and began to connect with them. The clan had no complaints about her associating with them because of talents and aptitude.
They couldn’t hope to shun her in the first place because she was their leader’s grandchild, which means that it was possible for her to inherit the clan. She being Miko’s woman didn’t impress them in the least.
The flameheart clan were filled of people with raging emotions. The level that they felt an emotion can’t compare to anyone else. This was the same for their pride. They didn’t fear Miko despite his overwhelming momentum. If push came to shove, they didn’t have a problem fighting the Dragna Clan to the death.
They were slaves only to those they cherished, they would never submit to tranny.
Miko knew this and chose not to disturbed them in the least. They also chose not to stand in his way.
“I sent you Luka as a show of respect. I wanted your clan to know that I didn’t see them as an obstacle or an enemy. That and Luka deserves to enjoy the happiness of being around her family.”
“Is the second reason the main reason you sent her?”
Darwin asked.
“Who knows? You’re the heart experts, you tell me.”
Miko said with a laugh.
“Anyway, I want to meet with Joesph. Can you make that happen?”
Joesph was one of the 5 persons who came together and formed the Flameheart Clan, after they received blessings directly from the Greek goddess of love Aphrodite also known as Venus.
Of these five progenitors, Joesph was the only one still living, thus making him the one in the clan that had the most authority. Even more the clan leader.
“Whether it can happen solely depends on Master himself. I can’t force him to meet you.”
Darwin answered.
Just seconds after he said that, a message was sent to his head.
“I see. The master said that he will meet you.”
“Oh? He must’ve been eavesdropping. He still haven't fixed that habit of his."
Miko seemed rather amused.
“I’ll lead the way.”
“Please do.”
Shortly after Darwin led Miko inside the mansion. After climbing some flights of steps, they arrived at a door that Joseph.

“The master is inside. He doesn’t like others entering without being invited, so we’ll temporarily part here.”
“No problem.”
Miko nodded and opened the door and walked in.
“I wonder what he needs to talk about with Master?”
Darwin mumbled to himself.
He stood there for almost a hour waiting by the door.
“From the lack of explosions, they don’t seem to be fighting. I also don’t sense any form of power being released, so it looks like they are just talking.”
Darwin didn’t trust Miko in the least. In fact, it would be weird for him to trust him at all. After all they’ve never interacted before and Miko has countless horrifying rumors surrounding him. The biggest factors are the death of his son, and the destruction of the saevio clan.
In Darwin’s eyes, Miko was a destructive storm in the form of a child.
“I wonder what they’re talking about?”
He mumbled to himself.
“Hm?”
It was at that moment that the door opened.
Darwin watched Miko walk out with a smile before closing the door. He looked at Darwin and smiled.
“Well then, I’ll be going Darwin. I hope we meet again pretty soon.”
Miko then left without looking back.
After Miko left, the door opened and Joesph came out.
“Master, what was all that about?”
Darwin asked Joesph.
“We were just catching up.”
Joesph replied with a smile. The smile soon left his face as he looked at Darwin.
“Pass this order to the rest of the clan. The Flameheart clan will assist the Dragna Clan in the upcoming campaign to capture the Eastern Region.”
“May I ask the reason?”
“There’s no reason. We’re originally a part of the Dragna Kingdom, now that it has become an empire we can’t afford to slack off more than ever.”
Joesph answered.
“Is there a problem?”
“None at all, Master. I was just surprised that you actually wanted to act together with a king. I’ve always heard you say that there’s no one in the Dragna Clan left that’s worthy enough to request anything from you.”
Joesph didn’t answer immediately and just stared off in space.
“It’s just that someone worthy has finally returned.”
Meanwhile in the Eastern Region, in the Carpo Empire.
Lennox stood on a stage looking down on a sea of soldiers.
“About 500,000 and all S Class and above. Not bad for an empire on this continent.”
Chloe walked up to him and spoke with all smiles.
“This is our elite army that’s different from our main army. My family took centuries to cultivate this army.”
“I see.”
Lennox replied.
“But it’s still not enough.”
“Pardon?”
“It’s still not enough. In this world, what decides battles isn’t necessarily polished armies but those who lead them.”
Lennox stepped out.
“But I guess it won’t hurt boasting their morale.”
The moment he said that his body was covered in Heavenly Qi.
He thrust his palm out and a massive wave of Heavenly Qi engulfed the entire army. The soldiers looked at each other in confusion as their bodies were covered in a golden glow.
“Ladies and Gentlemen.”
Lennox spoke and drew everyone’s attention.
“I’m a Lennox, one of your allies in the upcoming battle.”
There were obvious signs of surprise when Lennox introduced himself as their ally.
“I’m for one is very excited to be fighting with all of you. I’ve heard of your magnificence and prowess and wished to meet you all. Now, I’m sure you’re all thinking, the opponent is too great and that we have no chance of winning, but worry not!”
Lennox beat his chest proudly and declared.
“Because I am here!”
The soldiers looked at each other again as if affirming that they were hearing things.
“I’m not implying that I alone is strong enough to defeat the enemy, but with all of us working together I’m certain that we can fight against destiny and prove the world wrong!”
He declared.
“Nothing in life is certain! There’s no such thing as destiny! We pave our own futures!”
Lennox words started to having a strange effect on the soldiers, they all started to become excited one after the other. They all became enchanted by the man that stood in front of them.
“My fellow humans, struggle! There’s nothing wrong with it! Struggle with all your might, fall and get up again!”
He clenched his fist in front of him.
“Failure is not permanent, victory is available to all those who want it! So desire victory more than you fear failure! That is the only path to survival! My friends, do you wish to survive?!”
“YEAAAAAH!”
The soldiers screamed at the top of their lungs.
“Then accompany me to a dirty desperate battle of blood and sorrow! Let’s show the world that we’re the ones that decides our fates!”
“OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
The soldiers shouts shook the entire county.
“A-Amazing! Everyone is brimming with fighting spirit.”
Chloe said with amazement.
“He used Heavenly Qi to give the soldiers a sense of peace, and got them excited with using his natural charisma. Truly impressive.”
Skylar who was watching from the side commented.
He watched as Lennox walked off the stage.
“Are Ezra and Hanzou here yet?”
He asked Skylar.
“No, but they should be arriving shortly.”
He responded.
“This War will be fun, but isn’t it a bit too one sided?”
Lennox asked.
“I mean, the Dragna Empire still has the advantage.”
“They do?”
Chloe asked.
“The fact that you didn’t know that, shows your ignorance about the enemy. If you wish to become a real Empress you can’t afford to make such mistakes.”
Skylar said.
Hearing what he said made Chloe feel embarrassed. Seeing her like that Lennox placed his hand on her shoulder.
“His tone maybe was harsh, but he doesn’t mean to belittle you. He’s only telling you for own good.”
He said and smiled at her.
His handsome smile made her started to race and her face begin to redden. She had always been a fan of his, and even used him as an inspiration when she battle for the throne. So having him comfort her was like a dream.
“So do you have any ideas on how to level the playing field?”
Skylar asked.
“Yeah. Why not ask Stein to send Tyler to give a hand?”
The Tyler he was referring to was the Norse War God Tyr’s Proxy. He was the highest ranking General of the Asgard Empire. He’s the Son of Stein and head of the war council of Asgard. He is also one of the leaders of the Valkyries, who were the strongest female Corps in the empire. He was undefeated in any war and was considered one of main reasons why Asgard was still so strong.
“Deploying me alone is the furtherest my father will go to assist this war. If my brother was to be deployed here as well, it would hurt the empire’s pride and weaken our military strengthen until we return. It’s a risk that none of us will take.”
Skylar answered.
“Well, I figured you would say that.”
Lennox said with a laugh.
It was then that his smile dropped from his face.
“Looks like I have no choice. In order to make this battle more exciting, I’ll have to call up some old friends.”
“Old friends?”
Lennox nodded.
“About three more Tyrants would do right?”
“Three more? Which three?”
“Touma, Paige, and Drake.”
Skylar’s eyes twitched when he heard those names.
“Why would those three fight for you?”
“Because I’m their boss.”
“I see….”
Skylar sighed when he heard that.
“So the rumors were true.”
He looked at Lennox serious face.
“You’re the leader of majority of the Tyrants in the world, the Tyrant King Of Hell Dynasty.”
Lennox didn’t answer and kept a straight face before mumbling to himself.
“I guess I’ll call for Kirin while I’m at it. I’m sure Karna’s Proxy will love a war like this.”
Lennox finally smiled again and looked at Skylar.
“Tell me, Thunder Emperor. Is there anything more exciting to men than a good battle?”
“That depends on who you ask the question.”
Skylar smiled as well.
“But for me, I don’t think there is.”
