《Mythical Conquest》The Battle Of Beasts!

The Primus world.
Under the Xia Palace, there was a secret dungeon that was used to imprison some of the branches worst enemies.
It was dark, cold, and eerie.
In such a place, Nero, Nova, Kimiko, Raven, and Falcon were standing in front of a cell.
They all silently looked at the prisoner who was chained in the air, inside the cell.
“Do you feel like talking now, Arsene?”
Kimiko asked with a cold tone.
The prisoner, Arsene Mors lifted his head and looked at her with a smile on his face.
“I’m sorry, Your Highness. But I have nothing to say.”
“Bullshit.”
Kimiko cursed.
“I haven’t seen you in centuries and you came here telling me to join something as shady as New Era?”
She walked into the room.
“I’ll make you tell us everything you know about them.”
Death aura leaked from her when she said that.
“Hahaha!”
However, Arsene wasn’t the least intimidated and started laughing.
“I’m afraid that’s impossible my queen.”
“Why’s that? Is there a spell on you that prevents you from talking?”
Kimiko asked with a sharp gaze.
Arsene shook his head.
“Nothing of the sort. I’m just not afraid of you anymore."
He grinned.
“I’ve seen things during my time in New Era. Unbelievable things. Things that made me shit myself over and over again. It’s thanks those experiences that I’ve learned that this world is a terrifying place. Far more terrifying then I’ve ever imagined.”
*Boom!*
Kimiko hit him across the face with a black hammer.
“Cut the bullshit and talk.”
She said with a serious tone.
“Hahaha!”
Yet, Arsene still laughed.
“You!”
Kimiko took out a black dagger from her clothes.
“Let’s see how well you laugh with a dagger in your neck.”
“ I’m sure I’ll laugh like normal.”
Arsene replied.
Kimiko took a step forward to torture him, but she was stop by Nero.
“Let me.”
He said and approached Arsene.
“Arsene, why did you come here? You’re smart, I’m sure you predicted this outcome. So why?”
He asked.
“Why? Isn’t it obvious? Because I respect the three of you as not only friends but warriors.”
He looked at Nero, Kimiko and Nova as he said that.
“You three are arguably the most notorious Tyrants in history. Hell Dynasty is composed of completely Tyrants, having you three not a part of it just doesn’t sit well with me.”
“That’s your reason? For just that reason you’ll endure such a rough treatment?”
Falcon asked.
“Ah, you must be Falcon Dragna. I read about you in New Era’s database. You’re quite an interesting person. You’re welcome to join as well.”
“No thanks. I don’t know much about New Era, but I can already guess that it will plunge this world into chaos.”
“I see.”
Arsene looked at Raven.
“You seem strong. What about you?”
“I’ll have to pass.”
Raven answered.
Arsene nodded with a smile.
“And you three?”
“No.”
Kimiko answered.
“Sounds tempting, but I’ll have to decline. I don’t feel like our objectives align.”
Nero answered.
“……..”
Nova didn’t answer.
This caused everyone to look at him.
“Hmm…..Sounds quite tempting.”
He said.
“To be honest, I don’t mind joining you. I mean I’m pretty bored here.”

What he said didn’t shock anyone in the dungeon, after all this was how Nova was. He was someone who was in love with chaos and destruction.
The fact that he remained silent for so long was a miracle.
In fact, Nero declining the offer came as a huge surprise.
“Plus if I join, I’m sure that the whole clan will turn on me. While that would be worthwhile, I’ll have to decline. After all, when I think about it fighting against you guys might be more entertaining. I mean, being the underdog might be fun.”
Nova explained.
Arsene nodded with a smile to their refusals.
“I see. I see. So you all decline.”
He started grinning.
“It’s such a shame, but it’s expected.”
“You don’t look like someone who was just rejected.”
Said Kimiko.
“Don’t tell me you expect for us to let you go after rejecting you?”
“No. You’ll let me go. It’s not your choice.”
“What?”
“Ah, I think that’s the cue.”
At that moment, the door that leads outside the dungeon swung open.
A servant ran in with a pale face.
“M-M-My lord!”
He shouted.
“What is it?”
Nero asked.
“Word from Elder Kroc who’s searching the Beast Continent for Lady Sonia!”
The servant handed Nero a piece of paper.
“?!”
Nero was shocked when he read it.
“Half of the Beast Continent has sunken to the bottom of the ocean…..”
“What?!”
What Nero said shocked everyone except Arsene.
“Now then, will you let me go?”
He asked with a smug.
Let’s go back to when Chao Tian and the others confronted the deadly monster Devil Ape.
“What’s this? I’m actually being challenged?”
Devil Ape sat on his throne and spoke with surprise.
“There’s a Limit to how arrogant someone can be, little ant?”
He laughed and said.
“Enough talk. Are you going to fight or are you too scared?”
Chao grinned and said.
Devil Ape stopped laughing when he heard that.
“I see. So you’re one of those people.”
His gaze sharpened on Chao.
“The type of person who only learn how to be humble after death.”
He lifted his gigantic arm and swung it in front of him while remaining seated.
*BOOM!*
An incredibly gust of wind was instantly generated by the hand wave and slammed against Chao and the others.
No, calling it a gust was an understatement.
It was like Devil Ape created a hurricane with a wave of his hand.
Yet, Chao didn’t flinch in the least.
“Oh?”
This impressed devil Ape.
“I guess you aren’t all talk. But I still have no interest in fighting a bug.”
It said.
At that moment, Chao disappeared and reappeared in front of Devil Ape.
“I’m not a bug.”
He floated in front of him and said.
“You didn’t try to sucker punch me? You’re either cool headed, or smart.”
“Neither. I’m just that confident.”
He drew his arm back.
“I only attack people from the front.”
He smiled.
“I’m going to punch you in the face.”
“Go ahead.”
Devil Ape replied.
“If you’re able to force me off this throne then I’ll fight you.”
“Remember you’re the one who said it.”
After he said that, Chao threw a punch towards Devil Ape’s face.

*BOOM!*
Chao fist caused devil Ape face to sink in and he was blown out of his seat and crashed into the end of the valley.
“No mercy as always.”
Said Mari.
“Hey, I think we better start retreating before we get killed.”
Alexis said.
“I’m way ahead of you.”
He looked behind him and saw Drake running for his life.
They all started retreat one by one, leaving Chao alone.
Chao ignored them and smiled in the direction where he sent Devil Ape flying.
*BOOM!*
The cliffs overlooking the valley suddenly crumbled and Devil Ape appeared clapping his hands.
“Impressive. Truly impressive.”
He looked around at his valley that was now in rubbles.
“Look what you did to my kingdom. You’ll have to pay for that you know.”
“Is that so?”
Chao started walking towards him.
“That’s right.”
Devil Ape started walking towards him as well.
“How much?”
“Your life isn’t enough. Maybe I’ll destroy your entire bloodline.”
The two started to sprint at the same time.
“Destroy it, if you can monster!”
Chao leaped forward with a roar.
“Watch me, Ant!”
Devil Ape leaped forward with a roar as well.
The two met midair and threw a power punch.
*BOOM!*
Shockwaves created from their clash travelled for miles and flattened everything around them.
The two jumped back and charged towards each other again.
Devil Ape swung his giant claws, Chao swung his leg.
*BOOM!*
Chao was blown away with his body spinning in the air.
Devil Ape popped up above him and swung down his gigantic arms like a hammer.
*BOOM!*
Chao was slammed into the ground, and caused 100m thick cracks to appear in the ground.
Devil Ape stomped towards him with a grin.
Chao quickly sprung to his feet and lifted both arms into the air.
*BOOM!*
He grabbed devil Ape’s feet and stopped his stomp.
Chao then slammed Devil Ape on the ground.
He then lifted him up and slammed him repeatedly on the ground.
Every time his body hit the ground, everything for a dozen miles shook.
“Not bad.”
Devil Ape twisted his body and threw Chao off him.
“I had a nasty creak in my neck, your attack just fixed it for me.”
It said.
“Is that so?”
*BOOM!*
A huge amount of magic power started surging from Chao’s body.
“Then how about I fix a couple more for you!”
He shot forward like an arrow and threw a punch.
Devil Ape yawned and lifted one finger.
*BOOOM!*
A three mile wide crater open up under them when they clashed.
“Is that all?”
Devil Ape said while looking at Chao who he stopped with a single finger.
“Don’t be absurd.”
“Hm?”
It was then Devil Ape noticed that his finger was being bent towards him.
“Oh?”
This surprised him, especially when he heard it starting to crack.
“Clench your teeth.”
The moment Chao said that Devil Ape’s entire arm bent backwards and Chao’s fist smashed into his face.
*BOOM!*
Devil Ape was forced to take a step back.
Chao started hopping in one place in a boxing stance.
“Consecutive jabs.”
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
Chao hit Devil Ape with 12 lightning fast left jabs in a second.
Devil Ape had to take another step back.
“Imma about to take this up another notch.”
Chao took a step forward.
The moment he did it was as if he multiplied as dozens of Chao attack Devil Ape from every direction.
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
Devil Ape’s body swayed all over the place as Chao raining down attacks on him.
“That’s enough.”
Devil Ape reached out and grabbed Chao’s fist.
“I thought that you could entertain me, but you're really nothing but an ant.”
He lifted Chao by his arm and slammed him on the ground.
He then ripped Chao’s arm off and threw it into his mouth and ate it.
“Well, I suppose you’ll do as a meal.”
He said while he chewed on Chao’s arm.
He then grabbed Chao and threw him into his mouth and started to rip him apart with his fangs.
“Oi, Devil Ape just ate Chao!”
Said Victoria who was watching the fight from a far.
“It’s a good thing that we left when we did.”
Said Alexis.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
“Now that ‘Chao’ has been defeated the real Beast Rebelling Against The Heavens is about to enter the fray.”
“Hm? He lost already.”
Devil Ape suddenly heard a voice appeared behind him.
There he saw Chao standing there with a deadpan expression.
“What the?”
Devil Ape stopped chewing and put his hand in his mouth.
He took out a long piece of hair.
“I see. You’re Sun Wukong proxy.”
“………”
Chao didn’t answer and just looked at him.
“All this time, I was just fight a clone that had a fraction of your strength.?"
Sun Wukong has the ability to clone himself by using pieces of his hair. These clones are far weaker than the original.
The Chao Tian that the current world knew was only a weaker version with a fraction of the originals strength.
After he became a Tyrant using a small amount of his strength , he became Sun Wukong's proxy and made a clone take his place while he trained for the day he can terrorize the heavens again.
This Chao, who could fight any Higher Being to the end, stood in front of Devil Ape, who slaughtered countless pantheons and made them forgotten from this world.
A match up like this could've caused the world 10,000 years ago the dim in fear, much less now.
"Heh."
Devil Ape grinned at Chao.
“Original or clone, your both just ants in fron-”
“Silence monkey.”
Chao interrupted Devil Ape.
“I’m different from the Chao you faced earlier.”
Devil Ape suddenly felt a great sense of danger come over him when he felt Chao’s gaze.
“Looks like I’ll be able to have fun after all.”
He said and charge forward.
“Let’s go, Chao Tiān! Show me your true power!”
“I was intending to do that from the start.”
Chao charged towards him as well.
The Monstrosities clashed with everything they had.
*BOOOOOOM!*
That day, a two man war broke out between Chao Tian and Devil
Ape.
This war engulfed an entire continent and resulted in half of it getting wiped off the map.
This war would go down in history as the prelude to New Era’s Reign.

The Madec Legacy
The dawn of Emotion Based A.I.s is here, John is the fifth test subject to have an AI implemented in his brain, and so far the first one to survive. Blinded by the dream of immortality, the researchers push the tests to inhumane standards. John is obligated to take part in sessions of torture designed to test the limits of the AI influence over the physical and mental health. What was supposed to be a new beginning in life turns into living hell. An (un)lucky twist ends his life. John then reincarnates with his AI in a new world where a System influences the interaction between Magic and Matter. With seemingly limitless potential and a game-like system influencing the world, the hero sets on his journey. --AUTHOR NOTE, PLEASE READ-- I will state here my promises to you, potential reader: 1. No harem! I don't trust myself to make a harem feel natural or healthy, I never met any person who has a personality that can adapt and live in a harem for reasons that are not monetary, so I can't draw inspiration from real life. Sorry!; 2. The enemies will not be bland and illogically mean. Some may feel like that at first, but I will take great care in fleshing them out, trust me. You may end up hating some, but you won't be able to deny that they had their reasons for what they did; 3. I am using a paid (and expensive) automated editor tool, and I take longer to write because I take my time in editing the stuff. I am aiming to improve and I will not shy away from constructive criticism, nor take offense for no reason; 4. Characters will die and will suffer, some will get over the tragedies and improve, others will not be as resilient. 5. This novel has a lot of ground to cover, it is neither a short story, a manual on crafting, or the script of some action scene. There will be both time skips and oversimplifications of some actions for the sake of moving the story forward. Time skips will be more prominent in the first 30 chapters. I will describe crafting processes and fights with more detail if they are essential for the chapter; 6. If I took my time describing something, it's because it is important. I hate novels that waste time describing useless stuff. If you skim over something, the chances are that something in the future will not make sense. I am an adept of "Chekhov's gun" principle; 7. I already have 31k words on my auxiliary documents, I have a plan for the story, and I will not be making changes even if someone ends up noticing some foreshadowing and figures out what will happen. The story comes first. 8. I have a wife, a job that demands 9h every day and courses related to my job (lawyer) three days of the week, it's unlikely that I will be able to do mass releases at all. I will have a healthy amount of chapters to be able to post at least 1 chapter every day continually. Don't worry. 9. I will read all the comments. I will listen to all you have to say and will try my best to accommodate demands as long as they do not hamper the path I prepared. 10. There is an arc that spans the entire novel. Each volume will be an arc in itself while progressing a little bit of the main arc. Every arc will have one or more main antagonists. I think that's it! Thank you for reading it all. Have an awesome time reading my first novel!!
