《Mythical Conquest》A Peek Into The Future?

“…..Miko.”
Miko heard someone calling out to him.
“Miko.”
‘Who is it? The voice is new but strangely familiar.’
He thought to him.
‘By the way, am I asleep or something?’
He could only see darkness no matter where he looked.
‘I can’t move my body.’
“Miko…”
‘What the hell is this?’
“Miko! Wake up, dammit!’
*Bam!*
“Ugh?!”
He suddenly felt a blow to the stomach, which forcibly opened his eyes.
“Oh? You’re finally awake.”
When he opened his eyes he saw someone staring down on him.
It was a beautiful woman with black hair and green endings.
Her eyes were green as well and had a beastly feel to them.
She was very sexy and was wearing a belly-skin top with long sleeves, a pair of black jeans and fingerless leather gloves.
“What, are you still half-asleep?”
Asked the woman.
“Ah, sorry.”
‘Wha? I just answered even though I didn’t mean to?’
Miko then felt his body rise to its feet.
Of course, he didn’t control it.
He walked over and stood beside the woman while stretching his body.
“So what’s the situation, Ishma?”
‘?!’
Miko was instantly shocked by what he said out of his own mouth.
‘That’s Ishma?! That sexy woman?! When did she grow up?!’
He shouted in his mind.
‘A dream. This must be a dream.’
He said to convince himself.
‘Even so, why can’t I wake up?’
He tried to move his body and tried to close his eyes but he couldn’t no matter how much he tried.
He quickly realized that he couldn’t do anything but observe the situation.
‘It’s like I’m watching a movie….’
He thought to himself.
“Shura and Nike are down there causing hell.”
Ishma answered.
‘Nike? Shura?’
“What about the others?”
He asked.
“Mitsuki and Mizuki are getting ready and should be heading out soon.”
Ishma answered while she started walking away.
It was then that Miko realized that they were inside a building.
The interior was made of concrete, but there was a lot of buttons, switches, levers, and other mechanical components in the walls.
He could also see neon lights in them as well, forming some strange symbols.
It was like he was inside an old building that had been renovated with the latest technology.
They approached a wall which opened up when they approached it. It was actually an automatic sliding door.
They continued to walk while they talked.
“And Berserker and Liliana?”
Miko asked.
“Those two are still asleep.”
“Well, its 2 in the morning so that’s normal. We just have to handle it by ourselves.”
The two of them walked until the walls slid open and revealed the night sky.
Miko saw an unbelievable scene in front of him.
There were thousands of aircrafts in the sky.
A sea of enemies on the ground, which consisted of all races including monsters.

But that wasn’t what shocked him the most.
‘A temple? We were inside a floating temple?’
He thought.
He was standing on a gigantic floating temple, that had a slight futuristic look to it.
He looked at the ground and realized that it was black, while the sky was red and filled with black stars.
Even the moon looked golden.
*Boom!*
He suddenly heard an earth shattering explosion and saw countless people being blown all over the place.
*Boom!*
The aircrafts in the sky started exploded one after the other, illuminating the night.
Miko and Ishma watched this scene with calm expressions.
“Is this all?”
Miko asked.
“Yep. These are all the allies of Genesis, who bent under the New Era, that made it here tonight.”
Ishma responded.
“How much?”
“Around 100, 000 or so.”
“Really? That’s less than the night before.”
Said Miko.
“True, but the total strength of our opponents seem to be better this time.”
Ishma smiled.
“I believe that there’s more than 40,000 X Class, 20,000 XX Class, and 1,000 XXX Class.”
“Oh? This suddenly became more interesting.”
Miko started cracking his fingers while he stared into the sea of enemies.
*Boom!*
He looked to his right and saw body parts flying into the air and blood falling like rain.
“Nike looks like he’s having fun.”
*Boom!*
He then saw countless spike erect from the ground lifting countless enemies into the air, before they eventually explode.
Their bodies looked like grotesque rose petals as they completed a flower.
It was literally a Corpse garden.
“Shura too.”
Ishma stepped out with a beautiful smile on her face.
“I guess it’s my turn to let loose.”
“Fine. But don’t get careless.”
Miko stretched his hand towards Ishma’s back.
“I release you from your restraints Satan’s Regalia, Angelus Mortis (Angel Of Death)!”
*Boom!*
The moment he said that, a dreadful power was released from inside Ishma.
12 black angelic wings spurted from her back while glowing an ominous green.
A black halo appeared above her head. The halo was spiky and looked like it was made out of pure darkness.
“Hahahaha! I’m free!”
*Boom!*
Ishma shot into the air like a rocket and spread her fallen angel wings under the golden moon.
“It’s the Angel Of Death!”
The enemies saw her and instantly became paled.
Green orbs formed in front of each wing, while a black skull appeared behind her.
“Dead Night!”
*Boom!*
The orbs shot down to the earth and caused mass destruction everywhere it landed, killing thousands.
“Let’s go!”
She then shot down into the sea of enemies and started to rip them apart with her hands.
Miko watched all this with a smile on his face.
“Shit! It already started.”
That’s when he heard a voice behind him.
He looked behind him and saw a woman and a man running towards him.

‘Huh? I can’t seem to see their physical appearances?’
Miko thought to himself.
“This is your fault, Mitsuki. Why do you have to take so long?”
The man complained.
“A woman have many things to take care of before she goes out, Brother.”
The woman, Mitsuki snapped back.
“You only need your weapon to fight a battle.”
The man retorted.
“Yo, Mitsuki and Mizuki. You two are late.”
Even though Miko couldn't see them, it seemed that the him in the “movie” could recognize them.
“Shut it, Miko. We are going to join in now.”
Replied the man, Mizuki.
He ran past Miko and jumped into the sea of enemies.
He pulled a sword from his waist.
“Blade Light Waltz!”
His sword shone brightly as he pulled it.
A bright light flashed the moment his feet touch the ground.
And then-
*Boom!*
Enemies started exploded into cuts of meat as if they were ham.
“It’s the Black Waters Demon King, Mizuki! Kill him!”
Countless enemies started charging towards him.
Mizuki sheathed his sword and pulled a white gun.
“Homing Headshot!”
A light fired from the nozzle and pierced through 200 skulls in an instant.
He quickly pulled another gun.
“Double Homing Headshot!”
Two lights fired from his guns and instantly pierced through 400 skulls.
Of course the number of enemies didn’t decrease in the least.
Mizuki smiled and put away one gun and redrew his sword.
“Bullet Sword Dance!”
He turned into a beam of light.
*Boom!*
Immediately after countless enemies were being cut into pieces while being filled with holes.
Screams echoed out as the light became a messenger of death.
“That bastard of a brother! He started without me!”
Mitsuki cursed.
She jumped down and a purple aura appeared around her palm as she thrust it down.
“Sky Crusher!”
*Boom!*
Countless enemies were crushed as a palm shaped crater appeared in the ground.
“Thunder Goddess, Mitsuki!”
“I don’t need an introduction!”
Wind started rapidly swirling around her hand.
“Heaven Piercer!”
She thrust her hand forward and condense wind shot through countless enemies like a spear, ripping their bodies apart.
“Let’s go!”
She flew towards her enemies causing blood to stain the skies.
‘A-Amazing! Not only Ishma, those two are incredibly strong as well.’
Miko thought as he watched Mitsuki and Mizuki cause hell on the battlefield.
“Slice World!”
Miko looked to his right and saw a white world appeared out of nowhere.
*Boom!*
This world suddenly imploded and the sounds of something constantly cutting through the wind echoed out.
*Boom!*
Miko watched as everything that World covered was cut clean into cubes.
Even the people were cut into cubes. However, these cubes were cut so clean that they had yet to spray blood even when they touched the ground.
It was only after Miko saw the person responsible walking towards him, that blood started spraying.
Like Mizuki and Mitsuki, Miko couldn't see his appearance. But he could see him holding two swords in his hands, while there were five swords on his waist.
Three on one side and two on the other.
‘Seven swords? This person has a total of seven swords? Don’t tell me he can use them all at once?'
He thought to himself.
“Yo, Nike. Tagging out already?”
The Miko in movie asked.
“Yeah, I’m sleepy. Let Ishma, Mizuki, Mitsuki and Shura handle the rest.”
Nike answered.
“Wait, I’m tagging out too.”
Another person appeared out of a dark vortex covered in blood.
“You too, Shura?”
Miko asked.
“Yeah, I could’ve finished this if I used my regalia, but that would be a waste of energy.”
Shura then walked into the temple with Nike behind him.
“I see. Then I guess it’s finally my turn.”
Miko stepped out and looked at his enemies that were being mercilessly slaughtered.
He jumped down and landed on the ground.
“I-Its Exsul leader, Heavens Killer Malus!”
‘Malus (Evil)? Are they talking about me?’
Miko thought to himself.
He watched as his self in movie stepped forward.
When he stepped forward the entire sea of enemies took two steps back, while his allies quickly left the field.
Miko smiled.
“I wanted to enjoy this a little longer, but my wife is asleep right now and she can get a little unreasonable when forced out of her sleep. Since I prefer not to getting stabbed, I must end this. Especially, before Berserker wake up too. He’ll just crush everybody around him if he gets pissed off. Including us.”
A white flame appeared around Miko’s fists.
“Bye bye.”
He then roared and slammed his fist on the ground.
“Exuro (Burn To Ash)!”
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*
Miko’s saw fire run through the earth causing it to crack open like the planet was going to explode.
In fact, the explosion that followed was so great that it was really like the planet blew up.
When the dust faded, everything was turnt into ash.
Even the earth.
Naturally, there was no enemies in sight.
Miko dusted his hands off and smiled.
“Okay, back to bed.”
“Hah!”
When Miko opened his eyes he was in his room, and had a pair of gloves in his hands.
“What the hell was that?”
He asked himself.
“A vision?”
He then shook his head.
“I must’ve been too stressed and started seeing things. After all, I can’t recall possessing the power to see the future.”
He stood up and walked towards his door.
“Whatever it was, I need to focus on the present. The future can wait.”
Saying so, Miko walked out of his room.

John then reincarnates with his AI in a new world where a System influences the interaction between Magic and Matter. With seemingly limitless potential and a game-like system influencing the world, the hero sets on his journey. --AUTHOR NOTE, PLEASE READ-- I will state here my promises to you, potential reader: 1. No harem! I don't trust myself to make a harem feel natural or healthy, I never met any person who has a personality that can adapt and live in a harem for reasons that are not monetary, so I can't draw inspiration from real life. Sorry!; 2. The enemies will not be bland and illogically mean. Some may feel like that at first, but I will take great care in fleshing them out, trust me. You may end up hating some, but you won't be able to deny that they had their reasons for what they did; 3. I am using a paid (and expensive) automated editor tool, and I take longer to write because I take my time in editing the stuff. I am aiming to improve and I will not shy away from constructive criticism, nor take offense for no reason; 4. Characters will die and will suffer, some will get over the tragedies and improve, others will not be as resilient. 5. This novel has a lot of ground to cover, it is neither a short story, a manual on crafting, or the script of some action scene. There will be both time skips and oversimplifications of some actions for the sake of moving the story forward. Time skips will be more prominent in the first 30 chapters. I will describe crafting processes and fights with more detail if they are essential for the chapter; 6. If I took my time describing something, it's because it is important. I hate novels that waste time describing useless stuff. If you skim over something, the chances are that something in the future will not make sense. I am an adept of "Chekhov's gun" principle; 7. I already have 31k words on my auxiliary documents, I have a plan for the story, and I will not be making changes even if someone ends up noticing some foreshadowing and figures out what will happen. The story comes first. 8. I have a wife, a job that demands 9h every day and courses related to my job (lawyer) three days of the week, it's unlikely that I will be able to do mass releases at all. I will have a healthy amount of chapters to be able to post at least 1 chapter every day continually. Don't worry. 9. I will read all the comments. I will listen to all you have to say and will try my best to accommodate demands as long as they do not hamper the path I prepared. 10. There is an arc that spans the entire novel. Each volume will be an arc in itself while progressing a little bit of the main arc. Every arc will have one or more main antagonists. I think that's it! Thank you for reading it all. Have an awesome time reading my first novel!!

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
