《Mythical Conquest》A Gathering Of Talents

Miko hurriedly flew towards the mansion in the High Class District.
He stopped when he was over the mansion.
“……….”
He stared at the mansion for a while before landing in the yard.
“12 of them huh?”
He said after scanning the area.
Miko then proceeded to enter the mansion.
“Welcome, Heavenly Demon King Miko.”
The moment he entered he was greeted by dozens of servants who had lined up on both sides.
Miko didn’t pay the servants any mind and looked around the mansion.
“I see. This place was abandoned before I left a year ago, but they cleaned it up and turned it into their base.”
He said while he looked at the extravagant exterior.
He looked around some more before walking further inside.
He didn’t need to ask where he was supposed to go, he sensed several pair of eyes gazing on him and headed in their direction.
Miko stopped at a huge door.
“Just past here huh?”
He smirked.
*Bam!*
He kicked the door opened and and stride in with swagger.
“Let’s get this shit over with.”
He said as he looked in the room and gathered everyone’s attention.
“Oh?”
What he saw in front of him was a huge dinning table filled with food.
He saw 12 persons sitting there; 6 on each side. No one sat at either ends.
Miko immediately came to the conclusion that this is because they didn’t want to establish any hierarchy.
‘Or they just haven't done so as yet.’
He thought to himself.
“Miko.”
One of the persons sitting stood up and called out to him.
This person was the one who stopped Ren and Ashur from fighting Miko and Kaido.
Krul Dragna.
He walked up to Miko with a gentle smile.
“Thank you for coming. Especially after the rude behavior of some of us.”
Ren and Ashur who were singled out didn’t show an ounce of guilt on their faces.
Ren was seated on the right side, while Ashur was on the left.
“Come. Take a seat.”
Krul gestured towards the table.
Miko looked at him for a while, trying discern his intentions.
After judging that Krul had no ulterior motives, at least none he could immediately identify, Miko nodded and took a seat.
Under everyone’s eyes Miko walked up to the table and sat at the end as if he was the leader.
This immediately made a lot of people at the table upset, however Miko didn’t seem to care and stared straight at Krul.
Krul didn’t look the slightest upset and returned to his seat that was next to Miko’s right.
“Good now that everyone is here, how about we begin?”
Said Krul.
“First, I think it would be best if we introduce ourselves for those who are still unfamiliar with each other."
He said.
“My name is Krul Dragna. I’m 16 years old and is from the Quartus Branch.”
He paused here before saying-
“I’m also the child of our Guardian Beast, Lahmu.”
“?!”
This news shocked Miko so much that he stood up from his seat.
“What?!”
Even after a few seconds he still couldn’t calm down.
A child of Lahmu, which meant a True Demigod like his grandmother Kimiko.
Miko couldn’t believe such a thing was possible.
‘Wait? There was never anything about Higher Beings being unable to reproduce just because their powers were sealed.’
(What he said is the truth. Krul was born from the union of my son and Echo’s eldest daughter, Shima who is also his Proxy. While it’s really rare for Higher Beings to have children these days, they are those who still mate with mortals.)

Tiamat spoke in his head.
‘That means that he’s more God than human?’
(That’s right. Do you feel intimidated? I mean this is someone with Heavenly blood flowing through his veins. Not only mines, but Lahmu’s and Athena’s through her previous proxy who was Echo’s husband.)
‘That doesn’t matter.’
Miko immediately replied.
A thick bloodlust started leaking out from him which alerted everyone in the room.
“Gods, demigods, it doesn’t matter.”
He looked straight into Krul’s eyes.
“They all bleed the same.”
His eyes turned crimson as he glared at everyone.
“Oh!”
Ashur felt the bloodlust and suddenly was itching for another fight, but Krul forced him back into his seat.
“Please be calm, Miko. I’m a pacifist. I hate unnecessary fighting. As such I’m not here to fight or compete with you.”
Said Krul.
“Is that so?”
Miko sat back in his seat.
“How boring.”
Krul smiled wryly when he saw Miko’s disappointed face.
“Anyway, I’m the representative of the Quartus youngest generation.”
He then gestured to the two persons beside him.
“This is Yaya and Maki. They are also apart of the Quartus branch youngest generation.”
Miko looked at the two girls beside Krul.
They both had purple hair and beautiful faces.
One had a trident under her right eye.
She was Yaya.
The other one had star shaped pupils.
This one was Maki.
“They’re both from Augustus branch, and dont possess Tiamat’s blood. But don’t underestimate them, they’re strong.”
Said Krul.
Miko looked at the two girls and felt that they were strong just like Krul said.
“Next is…..”
“Yo, Miko.”
Someone stood up and greeted Miko with a friendly tone.
This person was Rin, Rouge grandson and Miko’s self-proclaimed rival.
“Rin, huh? I didn’t see you there.”
Miko said.
“Ah, I don’t mind it. I was invited here earlier and came because I knew you would.”
Rin replied.
“As you would guess, I’m the chosen representative of the Secundus branch. And these two are from the branch as well.”
He said as he gestured to the two boys beside him.
“This is Nen Dragna. He’s from Roland’s house, which your aunt Alisa is head of.”
The Secundus and Primus branches are the only branches that no longer have anyone who were descendants of Augustus and his other wives.
This was because Nero wiped out all of them in the Secundus branch when his uncle threatened Kimiko.
And then there was Momo’s father and brother, Luther and Nora, who killed the former branch leader of the Primus branch and his family for unknown reasons.
Finally, there was Krow’s war that resulted in the rest of them dying.
Miko looked at Nen.
He had short azure hair, a slightly muscular build, and had bandages wrapped around his entire body except for his neck and head.
This caused Miko to be a little confused.
“Ah, don’t pay them any mind. I tend to over do it when training from time to time and end up like this. In fact, I want to hurry this up and go back and train.”
Said Nen.
“Be patient. I’m sure this meeting will become worthwhile pretty soon.”
Said the person next to Nen.
“Ah, this is KC. He’s also from Roland’s house.”
The youth named KC had azure hair as well, but he was slimmer than Nen and was shorter too.
But he had on a pair of gloves that had at least three of the fingers exposed.
‘Those are archer gloves.’

Miko immediately identify them.
“I know you can tell, but they’re both super strong, although I’m stronger.”
Rin said with a laugh.
Nen and KC didn’t say anything and just shook their heads.
“I guess we’re next.”
Ren got up and said.
“Ahem. My name is Ren Dragna, 17 years old. My type is sexy office women with black stockings. Also I’m on team big breasts, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t admire a fat ass every now and then. Also-”
“What kind of introduction is that?!”
A girl beside Ren stood up and shouted.
“I thought that I could find a comrade who I can discuss fetishes with.”
Ren answered with a serious face.
“Ah, shut it before you embarrass us any further.”
The girl forced Ren to sat back down.
“Seriously. You’re letting Lord Alec influence you too much.”
She coughed as if to chase away the awkward environment.
“Good evening. I’m Cait Dragna. I’m the descendant of Augustus, but I don't possess Tiamat’s bloodline but Behemoth’s instead.”
Cait had purple hair with red endings, was a bit tall for a girl but was still beautiful either way.
Unlike everyone else her eyes were a reddish brown, and there was a red gem in the middle of head.
She pointed at Ren.
“This idiot is our branch representative, and Lord Alexus youngest grandchild.”
She then pointed at the youth at her side.
“This is Sura. He isn’t technically a Dragna because he’s a descendent of our guardian beast Sirrush, however he’s still Tiamat’s descendent. He isn’t human and is a draconic beast in human form.”
Sura silently looked up before closing his eyes as if meditating.
“Ah, I forgot but he’s extremely shy and dont normally speak unless necessary.”
Cait added.
‘A draconic beast and still isn’t the representative of his branch?’
Miko silently looked at Ren and wondered how strong he truly was.
After introducing everyone from her branch, Cait took her seat.
The next one to get up was Ashur.
“I’m Ashur from the Quintus Branch. My hobbies includes killing, fighting, and conquering.”
He said with a smile on his face.
“These two are Hal and Kane.”
He said while pointing at the persons who sat beside him.
They both had their face partially covered with black mouth masks.
They both were slim built and were dressed in black combat uniforms.
Their eyes were gold and beastly.
One’s hair was long and tied into a ponytail. This was Kane. He also had claw marks design on his mouth mask.
Hal had his hair loose in a wild fashion. His mouth mask had fangs design on it.
They didn’t say anything and sat in their seats staring at Krul.
From their eyes one could tell that they were itching to fight him.
“Just like me, their of descendants of Tiamat, Augustus and our guardian beast Mušma. However, Augustus blood is very thin in us; meaning that we’re more beasts than humans.”
Ashur added.
‘A few of them aren’t humans, huh?’
Miko said as he scanned their faces again.
‘There sure is a wide variety though.’
He suddenly smirked.
“Interesting. Truly interesting. The Dragna Clan is more intriguing than I expected. Having them lead an empire will surely be the right decision.”
He could already envision the Dragna Clan in its entirety, with its wide variety of members, crushing everything in their path while expanding the empire.
“Ah, I guess I should introduce myself.”
He said.
“That won’t be necessary. Everyone here already know who you are.”
Said Krul.
“But Miko, don’t you realize the situation you’re in?”
Ashur suddenly said.
“My situation? What situation?”
Ashur laughed before responding.
“The Primus branch is the only branch that has only one person representing them. In other words, if we were all to propose a battle to decide which branch’s youngest generation is the best, you would be fighting on your own.”
He smirked.
“12 vs 1. Isn’t that too much for even you? Ah, you can’t use your Primordial Chaos Lord of course.”
“………”
Miko didn’t respond and pondered Ashur words.
He had to admit that even he couldn't fight everyone here by himself. Just Krul alone was enough to grab all of his attention, much less the other representatives and their backers
The result would be instant defeat.
“Heh.”
Even so, Miko didn’t regret calling for back up like Hina suggested. In fact he was glad he didn’t. This way he’ll have all the fighting for himself.
‘Even if I’ll lose, I will still take half of them with me without fail.’
He thought to himself.
Krul misunderstood Miko’s silence as him panicking and spoke.
“It’s not that we set it up like this just to gang up on you. It’s just that we couldn't find anyone in the Primus branch other than you, who’s in our age group, that can fight on our level.”
He said.
“There were your siblings, but while they are strong they still aren’t there yet and would only drag you down, so we didn’t invite them.”
Miko was about to reply when the huge door that he kicked open, was kicked open again.
“What’s that about there not being anyone in the Primus branch who can't take you on?”
Two persons walked in.
They were Falcon’s children Chika and Verde.
The one who spoke was Chika.
“I’ll have you know that we’re more than enough to kick all of your asses.”
She said while she and her brother walked in and took a seat each.
Chika sat at the other end of table, while Verde sat next to her.
“Who are you two?”
Krul asked.
“Chika and Verde Dragna. Children of the eldest son of the Primus Branch Falcon Dragna.”
Chika answered.
Verde remained aloof as always.
“Falcon? Ah, I heard that name before. He was imprisoned 10,000 years ago for killing family members. I heard that his time was frozen. So….you’re his children.”
Said Krul.
“That’s right. And I find it disrespectful to have a meeting among young talents and didn’t invite us. If I wasn’t keeping an eye on Miko I wouldn’t have known.”
Chika leaned over.
“Are you messing with me, you brats?”
She gave off an intimidating aura that made everyone tense up.
“My apologizes.”
Krul immediately apologized.
“We weren’t aware of your existence. However, aren’t you two outside our age group?”
“In a literal sense, yes; but we are biologically 15 and 16 respectively since our times were frozen in a different dimension. As such we should qualify. After all, it’s not like our strength grew while we were frozen. So you might be able to keep up with us.”
“…..I can’t read their Classes.”
Said Ren.
“Class? Ah, you mean that annoying system. We got rid of it.”
“?!”
Chika’s casual words caused everyone to be shocked.
“You got rid of it?”
Ashur asked.
“When we were freed we felt our souls being invaded by something creepy and murky, so we rejected it. However it kept coming back so we made Uncle Gamiko (Nero) get rid of it for us. He said something about it being possible because we were born before the system was implemented.”
Chika explained.
Even after she explained it, most of the others couldn't except it.
“Anyway, that doesn’t matter. If you want to know how strong we are do it the good old fashion way.”
She clenched her fist.
“By the weight of our fists.”
“…..I see.”
Krul could only reply with that.
“Hahahaha!”
Miko suddenly burst out laughing.
“Well, isn’t this great?”
He smirked.
“With these two, each branch now has the same amount of representatives. So there’s no need to reject them.”
He rested his head on palms.
“All that’s left is to pick who’s the main representative.”
“You can handle that. I’m not a good leader and my brother is even worst.”
Chika answered with a smile.
Miko could tell that he and her were on the same page. They were really related.
“Then that’s settled.”
Miko looked at every one of his opponents and then showed a savage smile.
“Shall we decide who’s top dog?”
