Sapphire, who was still leaning on a crystal pillar, was focusing on healing herself when she sensed someone approaching.

She opened her eyes and saw someone approaching her.

“Chrome?”

She said weakly.

“Are you okay?”

“Do I look okay?”

Sapphire said with a smile.

“I guess you do look like shit.”

Chrome said with a laugh.

She took something from inside her pocket and gave to Sapphire. It was the regeneration pill that Bloom had.

“Isn’t that one of the few you had? Are you sure you want to give it to me?”

Chrome nodded.

“The boys gave me theirs. They said it would be better if you and Bloom took them.”

“I see. I’ll be sure to thank them later.”

Sapphire said with a smile.

“I’m sorry, but as you can see I'm all beaten up so there's no way for me to move my arms.”

“I got it.”

Chrome placed the pill in Sapphire’s mouth and made her swallow it.

A few seconds later, Sapphire’s wounds started to heal slowly. After a few minutes, she was able to use her limbs again, but she still was in no shape to fight of course.

“The first use really brings the best results. If I had relied on this drug before then the effects would’ve diminish.”

Sapphire said as she got up.

The regenerative pill was more effective the less amount of time you’ve used it. Because of this those who’ve taken it multiple times would receive a less desirable result.

“But I have to say, I’m surprised that you’ve defeated Aoi Tsuyoshi. Doesn’t this make you the strongest woman in the city?”

Said Chrome.

Sapphire shook her head.

“I just got lucky that’s all. I doubt I can beat Bloom or Luna Isabel.”

“Speaking of Bloom, her heartbeat is steady but her breathing is weak. She seems to be sleeping.”

Chrome said after collecting information from the sound waves around her.

“If she has the time to be sleeping then she must’ve won. Let’s go meet her.”

Chrome nodded in agreement to Sapphire’s words and the two headed towards Bloom’s location.

Meanwhile, Mayumi “The Prophetess” Shidou and Edward “Code Breaker” Akabe , who were MIA for the entirety of the war were inside the administrative building located in the 20th District.

This building was were Gaia’s main server was located.

No, it would be better to say that the entire building was a server.

It was built with the purest form of Magic Stone, which made it extremely durable. It was rumored to be able to withstand an attack from a XXX Class warrior.

Mayumi and Edward entered this building and took control of Gaia’s servers that were spread across the city.

They prevented Gaia from falling into the Pillars’ hands to be used to destroy them all.

They also came for the passkey to leave the city.

As stated earlier, no one could enter or leave the city without a passkey to the Four gates.

Although there were exceptions. If one was able to travel across dimensions then the passkey wasn’t necessary.

For example, Arsene used this method to enter the city but he was ejected by Miguel.

As for Alec, the method he used to enter the city is unknown.

As for the reason why Mayumi and Edward were together, Mayumi was Edward’s guard while he did what he set out to do.

“I wonder how long this war will take? I’m fed up of being cooped up in this place.”

Mayumi complained.

“You’re the one who can see the future, you tell me.”

Edward said as his hands were glued to the walls. He was using his ability to control the whole server which was the entire building.

“Hmph.”

Mayumi snorted and silently checked Edward’s future.

“?!”

That’s when she paled.

“We got to go!”

She suddenly shouted.

“What? What’s wrong?”

“This building is about to blow itself up!”

“What did you say?!”

Mayumi words shocked Edward so much that he removed his hands from the wall.

(Command accepted.)

Gaia’s computerized voices echoed in the building.

“Command? What command?”

Edward asked frantically.

(Self Destruction will commence in one minute.)

“Dafuq?!”

Edward was once again shocked. He was 100% sure that he didn’t give Gaia any order like that.

“Hey! I didn’t give any other like that!”

He hurriedly placed his hand on the wall and tried to take control. However-

*Bam!*

He received a strong resistance which damaged his brain.

He collapsed immediately after into Mayumi’s arms.

She threw him over her shoulder and started to make her escape.

(30 seconds remaining.)

“Shit! Shit! Shit!”

Mayumi sprinted with all of her will.

And then-

(Self destruct commence)

The server along with everything in a mile radius was blown to smithereens.

The third day of the war begun just like all the others.

Explosions echoed throughout the city, and the stench of death of smoke polluted the air.

The countless battles that were waged across the city was still ongoing.

There was one particular battle which put them all to shame.

*BOOM!*

Inside the 18th District. No what use to be the 18th District. Thunderous explosions echoed throughout causing the air to shake.

There were no buildings or roads left in this place. Only thing that was left was burning rubble.

It was like a wasteland in the middle of city.

*BOOM!*

Two fist collided and caused the area to shake again.

These fist belonged to Miko and Kaido.

Miko was using Demon Dragonite, while he exchanged blows with Kaido.

The two separated and avoided a deadly ray of light.

*BOOM!*

The light added yet another huge crater in the ground.

Jin floated in the air with thousands of miniature suns behind him. He was like a celestial being that descended on the mortal world.

“Hahahaha!”

With a sinister laugh, Miko moved at his top speed and dodged the beams of light coming from Jin.

He kicked off the ground and covered himself with crimson aura and turned into a giant crimson spear charging towards Jin.

“Heh.”

Jin waved his hand and hundreds of suns started rotating around him.

He shot down towards Miko as the suns fused together with him at the center.

He had turned into a sun himself.

*BOOM!*

Sun clashed with a crimson spear and caused powerful shockwaves to spread through the district.

“…….”

Kaido who was on the ground silently released his black claws.

He bent his knees slightly.

And then-

*BOOM!*

He shot towards the sky like a rocket.

He swung his claws at the burning sun and the crimson spear.

*BOOM!*

A huge explosion occurred in the air as both Miko and Jin were blown out of the air.

Kaido grabbed Jin by his legs and suddenly increased the rate he was falling towards the earth.

He swung Jin on the ground and power-bombed him.

*BOOM!*

Jin body burst open the ground and created meter-wide cracks in it.

His entire back was destroyed and bloodied.

Kaido stood up and aimed a stomp towards his head.

However, before his foot could crush Jin’s head, he felt a hand grip his neck.

It was Miko.

He lifted Kaido with one hand and chokeslamed him on top of Jin.

*BOOM!*

The cracks in the earth widen and both Jin and Kaido were forced deeper into the earth.

“Cough?!”

That’s when a laser shot through Kaido and pierced through Miko’s stomach.

Miko stepped back a few times while holding his stomach.

*BOOM!*

Kaido was suddenly blown off from top of Jin, who sluggishly got to his feet.

“Makoto Tactics:…”

*BOOM!*

“Insta-Kill!”

“Guh?!”

Miko received an incredibly heavy blow to his already damaged gut and was sent flying.

Jin had instantly cut the distance between them and hit Miko with an elbow strike that carried the same force as a falling meteor.

This resulted in Miko being blown away without any time to react.

Jin turned into a beam of light and instantly caught up to him.

“Die!”

Dozens of light weapons appeared behind him and pierced into Miko.

“?!”

However, the weapons passed through him and his image disappeared like a mirage.

“Fuck! Another assassin move!”

*BOOM!*

Jin was immediately hit by a bolt of lightning which further destroyed his back.

Miko then appeared in front of as if he was lightning itself and hit Jin with another lightning bolt.

*BOOM!*

Miko switched from Demon Dragonite to Elemental Dragonite, and chose lightning as his element.

This way he could keep up with Jin.

Miko turned into a bolt of lightning and started to attack Jin at a blinding speed.

*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*

Even though he lacked the previous power that he had, he gained great versatility.

“Don’t think that you’re the only one that can play with electricity!”

Static burst from within Jin and hit Miko.

“Ugh?!”

He was immediately paralyzed.

Seeing that Jin immediately switch to his Night form and activated his midnight flames around his fist.

“Die!”

He threw a punch at the paralyzed Miko.

In response Miko activated his Qi to the max and created an armor around him.

*BOOM!*

The fist hit Miko, but the fire was unable to touch him.

This completely shocked Jin, and he soon regret letting his guard down in that moment.

*BOOM!*

Kaido suddenly burst from underground and uppercut Jin straight up into the air.

He then jumped, spun and dropped his heel on the head of the still paralyzed Miko.

Miko felt his vision darken and immediately lost all awareness of what was happening around him.

Kaido’s red eyes shun and his arm doubled in size.

“Burial Fist!”

*BOOM!*

Kaido punched Miko so hard that he was literally buried deep into the ground.

He then quickly turned around and destroyed the giant ball of rubble that Jin used his powers to create and throw at him.

Jin then appeared out of the dust that was built up and hit Kaido with a burning fist.

Kaido was forced back a couple meters and was then assaulted by dozens of light spears.

He groaned and fell on his knees.

*BOOM!*

It was at that moment a hand burst out from underground and drag his face to the ground.

There he saw crimson eyes staring at him.

“Here’s Johnny!”

Miko’s palm suddenly started heating up.

And then-

*BOOM!*

Kaido was hit with a powerful burst of flames point blank.

He sprung to his feet holding his face.

Jin took that chance to attack with another punch, but Kaido wasn’t about to go down so easily.

*BOOM!* *BOOM!*

He punched Jin the same time he punched him, which cause the both of them to be blown back.

“Damn it!”

Jin roared while fixing his broken jaw.

“Are you two really cockroaches are something?! It’s been an entire 24 hours, and we’re still fighting!”

Miko crawled out of the ground at this time, and wore a bloody smile.

“If you’re so upset about it you can just drop dead, so that we’ll have an easier time deciding the winner.”

“I agree. You two drop dead so that I can get back Hana.”

Said Kaido.

“You two fuck off.”

Jin said and then took a deep breath.

“Ah, fuck it. I was saving this for when I destroy the city, but you two are getting on my nerves.”

Jin’s eyes and hair started to switch between white and black. It was the same for his aura.

It constantly switched between dark and light.

It was as if Night and Day were coming together around him.
