Bloom who had just left the academy was standing in front of an alley that was being barricade by law enforcers.

“Bloom Newgate of Silver Crow.”

She walked up and showed her Silver Crow badge.

The enforcers looked at it and verified that it was authentic before letting her past.

When bloom entered the alley she saw someone she didn't expect to see.

“Jin?”

Hearing someone call out to him, Jin turned around and faced Bloom.

“Oh, Bloom. You're pretty late. You shouldn't slack off you know.”

“You're the last person I want to hear that from.”

She replied with a smile.

“I'm surprised you're here. You must be really interested in this case.”

Jin nodded.

“I've always found scenes like this a bit appealing.”

“What, you love gory stuff?”

“No, I don't mean that.”

He pointed to the message left on the wall.

“People like Bloody Justice are also fun to keep watch of. Apparently he saved some kids but later killed them. It's most likely like the rest where the victims showed the ugliness of humanity and tried to live for themselves. Bloody Justice hates that ugliness so he killed them too. He's trying to cleanse society of scums but all human beings are scum. So to cleanse society he must destroy it, such hypocritical and unreasonable behavior is always entertaining to watch.”

Jin said with a bright smile.

“….You know, you've changed.”

“Really? Is it unpleasant?”

“Mah, as long as you're having fun.”

Bloom said with a wry smile.

“So any news on Bloody Justice?”

Jin asked.

Bloom shook her head.

“Like always he seemed to have ‘avoided the cameras’.”

“Avoid the cameras, huh?”

Jin laughed.

“I don't know who's protecting him but they're good.”

He suddenly looked like he had a great idea.

“I know who might get us information on Bloody Justice.”

Somewhere in the city, there was an abandon apartment. Inside this apartment there was a room that had someone gagged and tied to a chair.

This person was a pissed off miko.

“I can't believe we actually caught the Night King that fought toe to toe with a pillar.”

Said Jin.

He, Bloom, Sapphire, and the rest of Silver Crow were standing in front of him.

(This is what you get. I can't believe you actually fell for that trap.)

Tiamat ridicule Miko in his head.

A few hours ago Miko got a message from Bloom saying that she wanted to meet but preferably outside the Night District. Miko didn't find any strange about it, and met her at the designated area.

That's when Miko was quickly suppressed by Jin who appeared behind him wearing an invisibility helmet and was caught off guard.

After he was caught and suppressed using Bloom’s gravity ability, Miko was brought to this place.

As for Ishma and Regis, they thought it was fun to see Miko captured and didn't interfere.

‘Shut it!’

Miko's Qi burst out and destroyed the anti-magic chains wrapped around his body and broke out of his restraints.

“Oh? Well it was good when it lasted.”

Bloom teased.

“You know, treating a king like this is punishable by death.”

Miko said with an angry tone.

“Sorry, sorry. I just wanted to try it out. And I knew that as long as bloom was around you wouldn't go too wild.”

Said Jin.

Bloom smiled wryly and turned her face away as Miko glared at her.

“Don't be like that. You knew we were just messing around.”

Said Sapphire after seeing how pissed off Miko was.

“What do you want?”

He said after calming down a little bit.

“We want to use your abilities as a great crime lord and king.”

Said Jin.

Miko looked at him with a strange look.

“Hey, why aren't you asleep?”

“Hey, I do work sometimes.”

Miko didn't believe what he said, but he decided to leave it be for now.

“So what do you want me to do?”

“We want you to find someone called Bloody Justice.”

“Who the hell is that?”

“A serial killer who kills off the scum of the city.”

“Sounds like every comic book superhero to me.”

Said Miko.

“But if I meet someone like that I might recruit them rather than tell you there whereabouts.”

“That's fine too.”

Jin said with a smile.

Miko found his smile and behavior ominous, but he decided to keep quiet about it and observe for a bit.

“Well, if you don't need anything else I'll be on my way.”

He turned to leave, however not before taking a glance at Bloom.

She wanted to ask him to hang out a bit since they haven't really seen each other in a while, but she thought that she didn't have the right to do so.

Sapphire noticed the atmosphere between the two and sighed.

‘These two are being unreasonably stubborn.’

She thought to herself.

Miko didn't say anything more to anyone and quietly left the abandon apartment.

He took flight and used a his smart watch to determine his location.

“District 2, huh? Must be where their new base is located since I took over the Night District.”

He mumbled to himself.

At that moment a golden light appeared beside him, and from it Tiamat appeared flying next to him.

“I thought you said that you wouldn't appear in this city because you were cautious of MYTH possessing something that could affect Higher Beings?”

Miko asked.

“I did, but after scanning the city from top to bottom I learnt that they didn't have anything like that. Well, not in this city anyway.”

“You sure are cautious of them.”

“Their level of technology scares me to be honest. They even make something like magic seem obsolete sometimes. That's not something easy to do.”

Said Tia.

“Well i'll admit that even I am pretty cautious of them. It makes me wonder what level of genius one has to reach to create such gadgets.”

Miko said with an impressed tone.

“Oh, while I was scanning the city I discovered something that you might like.”

Tiamat smiled teasingly.

“Oh? Do tell.”

“It's the location of that Syndicate’s base. It's underground just like your base, but this one is in the 4th District.”

“The medical district? I'll admit that I wouldn't think of them being there.”

“What you wanna do? You wanna sneak attack them?”

Miko looked at her.

“From that mischievous look on your face, it seems that I wouldn't stand a chance if I actually did attack them.”

“You got me. There are multiple S Class in there that would be a challenge for you alone much less together.”

Miko suddenly twisted in the air got behind her.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and drew her closer to him and whisper in her ear.

“You're hiding something aren't you? Something about the Syndicate.”

Tiamat didn't get mad about Miko sudden intimacy and leaned her entire body weight in his arms.

“You could tell?"

“Well, my goddess was being a little too playful today. So she must be hiding a fun secret from her king.”

“Unfortunately, you're still not up to standards to be my king yet.”

She said teasingly while she turned her body to face him.

“You called me your king earlier.”

“That was just to boost your confidence.”

She then wrapped her arms around him and bit his ear which caused it to bleed.

“But it apparently made you too cocky, so take that as a punishment.”

She then tried to moved away from Miko, but he grabbed her hand and pulled her back into his arms.

“There's a limit to how far you can tease a man.”

“Is there? But in my eyes you're still a boy.”

“If you give me the chance I'll show you whether I'm a boy or a man.”

“I already did but you blew it remember.”

Remembering the time in the palace, Miko suddenly felt the urge to fly back to the kingdom and kick Ace’s ass for interrupting.

“Then shouldn't a benevolent goddess such as yourself believe in second chances?”

Tiamat started laughing.

“You and I both know that I'm far from benevolent.”

“Then you should try for a change pace.”

Miko then bit her back on her ear and gently nimble on it.

He could feel Tiamat's body shiver in his arms.

When he looked up, he saw her biting her lips while looking at him with a hot gaze.

He pulled her body closer until he could feel her voluptuous figure pressed on his body.

Her breasts on his chest.

Her stomach on his stomach.

Her thighs on his thighs.

His lower body pressed on hers.

They could clearly feel each other's body heat.

Tiamat's breath quicken as she stared into Miko's eyes, and so did Miko's as he stared into hers.

But he still spoke with a calm and soothing voice.

“You know what they say about change. It can bring forth unbelievable happiness and pleasure.”

He said as he placed a hand her butt and give it a squeeze.

Tiamat couldn't help but released a small moan in Miko's ear as her breath raced faster by the second.

“It's true that change might bring happiness and pleasure, but it can bring destruction and heartache as well.”

Miko could feel Tiamat weakly trying to push him away.

For a goddess of her stature it was common sense to think that she could easily push away someone as weak as Miko. However, it was like she was no longer an almighty goddess, but a weak and frail woman in the arms of a man.

“Well the changes I bring about will only bring you happiness, because that would bring me happiness in return.”

Miko slipped his hand under her slit dress and directly caressed her soft skin.

“Such sweet words that contradict such naughty actions.”

Tiamat whispered sweetly in his ear.

She grabbed his crotch and squeezed it so hard Miko cried out in pain.

“Not bad, boy. You actually seduced a goddess and almost caused her to fall in debauchery.”

Miko glared at her and was about to shout something when Tiamat silenced him by placing her finger on his lips.

“What happened in the palace was a spur of the moment. Well, I won't say that it won't happen again, but even if it does the result will be similar to today.”

Miko didn't say anything as he waited for her to finish.

“Trust me. It's not that I don't want it, and I really do, but it just doesn't seem fair to me and you.”

She then twirled around and faced her back to him.

“Well, I'll accept you and your feelings once you've become my equal.”

Miko sighed when he heard that, before saying-

“Well, then I'll become your equal just like Augustus before me. No, I'll surpass you both and become someone who can shield you from everything in this world. But I need you to hear something from me as the way I am now.”

He took a breath and shouted.

“I love you, Tiamat! And I will never stop loving you no matter how much lifetimes past us by!”

Miko saw Tiamat body shiver for a second and overwhelming happiness surging from inside her and flowing into him.

After a while of silence, Tia spun around and faced Miko.

“I already know that, stupid.”

Said while sticking out her tongue in a playful manner.

“As for my answer….”

She turned around again and started flying away.

Miko smiled and flew behind her.

While the two were still some distance apart, Tiamat whispered so soft only she could hear.

“You already know my answer.”

She continued to fly through the air with a happy smile and a flushed face.
