Down the path that led into the Night District from the 16th District, Sebas Lovefall had set up his camp with majority of his soldiers guarding it.

“What's the update from the other armies?”

Sebas asked while operating a tablet. In front of him were two pink and gold handguns inside a silver case.

The silver case was connected with the handguns that were lit up.

Sebas was using his tablet to perform maintenance on his pistols.

“All armies have reported that they came in contact with the enemy on numerous occasions. The 5th District army reportedly engaged in the biggest battle so far. They've lost hundreds of soldiers and weapons before they were finally able to repel the enemy.”

A soldier reported with a stern tone.

“Was there anyone noticeable on the enemy side involved in the battle?”

Sebas asked.

What he really wanted to know was if Miko was involved and if they were able to injury him in any way.

The soldier nodded.

“It was reported that the enemy's force was being headed by one of the Heavenly Demon King’s swords. The one who's called Ishmavael. There were also reports that her compatriot Regis was also leading the very first attack on our forces when they entered the district. She was reported to be leading an all woman squad.”

“He's letting his swords lead his gang?”

Sebas put on a pondering expression.

He soon finished his maintenance on his guns and put down the tablet.

“Whatever. I'm taking the field. Tell everyone to get ready to move out.”

“Yes, sir!”

The soldier hurriedly left Sebas’ tent.

After he left Sebas took up his guns and put them in the holsters on his waist. He also strapped his saber on his waist before putting on a stylish military overcoat.

He then hurriedly walked out of his camp with a serious expression.

By the time he walked five steps every soldier in the camp already stood at attention and was ready to move.

“Let's go.”

After saying those simple words Sebas and his army moved into action.

“My lord.”

A car pulled up at Sebas foot and a handsome man wearing a chaperon’s uniform came out and opened the door for Sebas.

Sebas entered and the car drove off. Behind it were dozens of armored vehicles carrying Sebas’ army.

“…….”

Sebas sat in his car with his eyes closed as if patiently waiting.

“My lord, we have company.”

His eyes opened when he heard what the driver said.

He looked and saw that the road up ahead was blocked off by a large group of people.

They were all armed and looked like criminals.

“What should we do, My lord?”

The driver asked.

“Keep driving.”

Sebas pulled his guns and stuck his upper body outside the window.

“Sebas Lovefall! Today is the day you die!”

One of men stepped out with a huge cannon and roared.

Sebas ignored him pointed his gun at him, and then-

“Eliminate thy enemy.”

*BOOM!*

Two overwhelming bursts of pink light shot out of the nozzles of Sebas gun and hit the group of men. They were instantly blown away and turned into scraps of meat. Their weapons had long since melted and were reduced puddle of molten metal.

Seeing that the pest was gone Sebas drew his body back into the car.

Not far away Miko sat on a building ledge and look down on the road which Sebas was driving down.

“Not bad. As expected of the person who controls the city's military. Decisive and cruel.”

He said as he smiled.

He stood up.

“Let's go.”

Jumped off the roof and dozens of shadows quickly followed after him.

“?!”

Sebas suddenly sense the presence of someone falling from the sky and saw Miko with his black coat fluttering in the air which gave him the imagine of a demon falling from the night sky.

“Miko!”

Sebas screamed with his voice filled of hate.

Miko fell not too far from his car.

He smiled as several dozen Exsul members landed behind him.

“Run wild!”

Miko shouted and rushed towards the car.

Sebas kicked out the windshield of his car and jumped out while it was still driving.

He pulled his guns and ran towards Miko with an incredible speed.

Miko pulled two swords from his waist and charged Sebas with a wild expression.

“Sebas!”

He swung his sword and powerful force rip through the ground and headed towards Sebas.

Sebas jumped to the side and dodged.

*BOOM!*

The force from Miko's sword cut the car Sebas was in two and caused it to explode.

Sebas ignored the car and fired his guns with a crazed expression.

*BOOM!*

Miko lifted his sword and dodged the shots and swung his sword again.

Sebas didn't dodge this time and fired at the force that was ripping the road apart.

*BOOM!*

The forces collided and caused a massive explosion occurred. Asphalt flew about as the two finally were in striking distance of each other.

Miko swung down his sword with his full strength. Sebas swung his arm and used the back of his gun to block the sword.

He then used his free gun to fire at Miko's head. Miko moved his head out of the way and then swung his other sword.

Sebas jumped over it and fired his guns down at Miko.

Miko smiled and slashed both swords at the same time.

*BOOM!*

A blast occurred when the blade collided with the bullets, which distanced the two.

The moment two landed nearly 100m from each other as their respective armies rushed forward and joined the fray.

*BOOM!*

Guns and swords collided as the entire road immediately turned into a blood battlefield.

“Die heavenly demon king!”

The enforcers that were in Sebas army immediately targeted Miko. Miko had killed countless of their comrades so their hatred for him was sky high.

Miko saw them and a cold smile came across his face.

“You dogs have been barking for far too long!”

He immediately activated Dragon Rage and covered himself with purple aura.

He then put away his swords and drew two shotguns from his back.

He shot forward and dodged a shot from an enforcer and stab him with the gun nozzle.

“Hahaha!”

*BOOM!*

With a laugh he blew the enforcer’s torso away.

He then spun around and slapped two enforcers with his guns and shattered their teeth.

*BOOM!* *BOOM!*

He blew them to pieces with his guns and then jumped into the air. The purple aura formed several arms and took guns from the dead enforcers corpses.

Miko then aimed a total of 12 guns in different directions and opened fire on the his enemies that surrounded him.

A hail of beams and bullets hit the bodies of the enforcers and ripped them to pieces.

Flesh and blood flung about in the air.

“Mikoooo!”

Sebas roared when he saw this from a distance.

He was surrounded by Exsul members who were closing in on him.

“Move!”

*BOOM!*

He jumped kicked a man out of the way.

“Ugh?!”

The kick was so strong that it instantly shattered every bone in his body and causing him to die after releasing a scream.

Sebas’ delicate face had long since twisted into that of a demon’s.

He rushed forward and fired his gun with a lightning speed.

Two men blocked his path and swung their swords intending to behead him.

Sebas eyes flashed a deadly light.

He stooped under the slashes and pointed his gun under the men's chin and fired.

*BOOM!*

Not only did Sebas blew off their head but their entire upper body was nowhere to be seen as fried entrails rained down from the sky.

“Grr!”

Sebas looked at the remaining people that surrounded him with the eyes of a wild beast. It was like his hatred toward Miko had robbed him of his humanity.

“?!”

Everyone who saw his gaze subconsciously stepped back with frighten expressions.

They finally knew why Sebas was nicknamed the Beast of the city.

“Die!”

He roared, and as if responding to his roar Sebas’ gun stared glowing an ominous red light before transforming into two big cannons.

With a roar he fired the cannons without warning.

*BOOM!*

Pink light shot towards Miko's direction and burnt away everything that was in its path.

Miko saw this and alarm take over his face. He immediately threw all caution to the wind and released his Qi at maximum capacity and gathered it in his palm.

“Fuckoff Blast!”

He threw the black and white ball to intercept Sebas attack.

*BOOOOOM!*

A enormous blast occurred and blew away everything in the area. The buildings scattered, the ground shook, and those caught up in it instantly perished.

“Hah! Hah! Hah!”

Miko stood in a crater with his arms crossed in front of him.

His clothes were burnt badly and he had a few burns on him as well.

He looked around and realized that everyone of his men that were around him were either dead or heavily injured.

“?!”

He quickly spun around and threw a punch. His fist collided with that of a man wearing a powersuit.

“Heavenly Demon King, this will be your grave!”

Miko quickly realized that he was surrounded by Sebas’ men, while his own men where out of commission.

“Heh.”

Miko smiled.

“My grave? Hahaha!”

*BOOM!*

A burst of Qi suddenly shot into the soldiers body and caused his organs to explode.

He fell on his knees and vomited out blood.

With a sadistic smile Miko stomped on his lowered head and squashed it.

The blood splashed on Miko's face which emphasized his demon crimson eyes.

Miko spread his arms out wide.

“Come! I'll show you what a true demon is like!”

*BOOM!*

The moment he said that crimson aura released from his body with a blast and caused the ground under him to shatter and even the air to tremble.

Even though he didn't activate [Sin King], Beleth’s power was surging through Miko's body.

The feeling he gave wasn't that a cornered person but that of a hungry beast ready to devour everything in sight.

“C-Charge!”

A brave soldier shouted and charged towards Miko.

The other soldiers started attacking from a distance with their weapons.

Miko rushed towards them with a mad laugh as he utilized Phantom Step to avoid the bullets with minimal movements, which made it look like the bullets had flown through him.

The first to meet the demonic Miko was the brave soldier.

He swung his giant sword trying to cut Miko in two.

“Hahahaha!”

Miko laughed as he swung his claw.

*BOOM!*

Not only the brave soldier but everyone that charged with him were blown away with broken bodies and fell on the ground while withering in pain.

Miko shot forward like an arrow while skillfully avoiding the soldiers’ attack.

With every step he took, crimson tattoos appeared on Miko's face.

He had activated [War Face].

He jumped and slammed his fist on the ground.

*BOOM!*

Crimson light ripped through the ground and exploded underneath the soldiers feet and blew them away.

“Ahhhhhh!”

Screams echoed out as Miko started to kill his way through Sebas’ army.

And then-

*BOOM!*

“Guh?!”

Miko suddenly felt a hit to his stomach which sent him flying far away.

He bounced off the ground a few times before springing to his feet.

Miko looked in front of him and saw Sebas covered in his own blood.

He was staring at Miko with hateful eyes.

“I thought that you had already dropped dead but looks like your still kicking.”

Miko said as he wiped the blood from his mouth.

Sebas said nothing and slowly walked towards Miko.

“Heh.”

Miko grinned savagely and walked towards Sebas as well.

But then-

(Miko retreat now!)

Tiamat voice suddenly went off in his head.

He did as she said and leaped back.

*BOOM!*

The moment he leaped back a beam fell from the sky and destroyed where he was just standing.

“…..An aerial attack?”

Miko asked in shock.

He was pretty sure that he destroyed all of Sebas aerial forces earlier.

(It's coming from a satellite. It's far outside the range of all of your attacks. But that's not all, a very dangerous weapon is making its way here. I believe that it's that Nemean Armored Car that Edward spoke about. I recommend your temporary retreat.)

“....I guess you're right. Edward did say that I shouldn't engage those vehicles no matter what. Plus I only moved with a little over 300 people, since this was suppose to be just the opening battle to gauge Sebas’ strength. So I guess I've accomplished what I set out do.”

Miko then turned his back to Sebas.

“Where are you going, Miko?! Are you planning to run away?!”

Sebas roared.

Miko spoke without looking back.

“It's unfortunate Sebas. I never came here prepared for a final battle to the death. This was only the opening act so I can't show all my cards. But I promise that the next time we meet, we'll settle all grudges between us.”

He spurted his wings from his back.

“Wait!”

“See you soon Sebas Lovefall.”

Saying so Miko took flight and almost instantly disappeared from out of Sebas’ sight. Of course he was being careful of another attack from the satellite.

“MIKKKOOOO!”

Just like Miko said this was only the opening act. The war is about to get even more intense from now on.
