《Mythical Conquest》The Siege Of The Night District
Advertisement
16th District.
This was one of the Four districts that possessed one of the gates used to enter and exit the city.
In other words, this district was under the direct command of one of the Four Pillars.
And that pillar was none other than the leader of the military, Sebas Lovefall.
Inside the military camp just beside the gate, there was a tall tower that overlooked the entire district.
Sebas was inside his office sitting by himself while tapping the desk with his finger.
He was tan skinned, had long flowing pink hair, had a delicate looking face that was covered up with a bit of make up. His body was slim but muscular.
He wore bright colored stylish camouflage uniform with a scarf around his neck.
He looked like if he was to change the way he dressed a little bit he could pose as either sex.
Overall he looked like he was on the boundary of a man and a woman.
“Are the preparations ready yet?”
He spoke with a delicate voice.
“Yes, Master Sebas. We're ready to move upon your orders.”
A soldier reply to him through his communicator.
“I see. We’ll move out in 4 hours. Take that time to ensure that no civilian stumbles anywhere near the war zone. That's the same for the media as well. Also keep an eye on the 11th district movements and report if there's any sign of any unusual movements.
“Yes, Master Sebas.”
“Also remind the troops that beside Miko anyone else can be killed on sight. We have no intention to show terrorists any mercy.”
Sebas said with a cold voice.
“As you wish.”
The call cut off with that.
“Hm?”
But at this time a different call was coming in.
“What is it, Jun?”
Sebas answered the call with a frown.
“Im just calling to ask you if you're seriously planning to go through with this?”
“Of course. Heavenly Demon King Miko is a terror to the city. This is no longer about my personal feelings, this is a fact. Don't you remember what happened the last time a Night King appeared in the city?”
“Of course I do. Who could forget? The city came so close to be taken over by him after all.”
“Then my sieging of the Night District is just. We can't afford for another incident like what happened 25 years ago.”
“Just, huh?”
“Am I wrong?”
“No. You're cause is just, but that doesn't mean that you'll win.”
“Are you implying that I might lose?”
There was anger in Sebas’ voice.
“It's a possibility that can't be ruled out. Miko only took a little over a month to move from a student to the King of the Night District. He can't be underestimated.”
“Don't worry. I've lost too much because of him to underestimate him. I'm going in guns blazing, and I intend to win using everything at my disposal.”
“I'm sure Miko will do the same.”
Sebas frowned when he heard that.
“Well, anyway. Just be careful. It's hard to replace a pillar even if it's a prick like you.”
Before Sebas could respond Jun hung up.
“….I'll definitely win, even if I have to destroy half the city to do so!”
Sebas spoke with clear hatred.
At the same time, Silver Crow had gathered in Bloom’s home that was in the 3rd District.
“The battle should be starting any moment now.”
Said Sapphire.
From her tone it was obvious that she was anxious.
“Hey, who do you think will win?”
Asked Reiji.
“What a stupid question. No matter how much people Miko gathered up and how notorious he’s become, he can't possibly win against a Pillar.”
Said Zetsu.
No one retorted him because what he said was true.
Sebas was a Pillar, and the Pillars ruled the city for a reason.
Each pillar had a force equal to a small country’s army, that wasn't something a gang should be able to repel.
Not to mention that Miko was facing a quarter of the city's forces. No matter how you look at it, Miko was in a desperate situation.
“I wouldn't be so quick to count Miko out.”
The one who said that was Jin, who finally came to a meeting after so long.
“Why? Do you think he can win?”
Chrome asked.
“Don't know, but I can't deny that I wouldn't enjoy that outcome.”
Jin said with a smile.
“To me it looks like you're hoping that Miko destroy Sebas and his enforcers.”
Said Sapphire.
As the one who knew Jin the best, she could see his true face more than the rest of Silver Crow.”
Jin didn't reply and simply closed his eyes as if ignoring her statement.
However inside his mind Jin was laughing hysterically and cursing Sebas to fall.
Of all the pillars Sebas was the one Jin hated the most.
Elsewhere the conversation between Kaido and Hana was more casual.
“Say Kaido, are you planning on joining the battle?”
Hana asked while watching tv.
Since the people on tv weren't really in front of her they wouldn't be affected by her Mad Eyes, so she could use them to watch tv.
The reason why she didn't see what Kaido looked like from a picture was because she wanted the first time she sees his face to be in person. So Hana decided to wait until Kaido found a way to keep her Mad Eyes under control.
Kaido shook his head at her question.
“While it would be best to take this opportunity to take down one of the pillars, my instinct tells me that I best not get involved.”
“Oh, I see. Then you better not, if you got hurt I would be sad.”
Hana had a sad expression as she said that.
Kaido who was sitting beside her patted her head.
“Don't worry. I'm tough, so it isn't easy to hurt me.”
“Hm.”
Hana nodded with a happy expression.
‘Cute.’
Kaido thought.
He then looked out the window and listened to the siren sounds echoing in the city.
“Now then, what are you going to do Miko?”
Sirens echoed throughout the city.
Everyone knew what this signified.
War was upon them.
*Roar!*
The roaring sounds of engines caused the ground and buildings to shake vigorously.
When everyone looked out their windows and on the road they saw something terrifying.
What they saw was about 20ft high and 10ft wide. It was made of pure black steel, and ran on monstrous carbon tires.
“They took the Nemean Armored Car!”
They were the Nemean Series Armored Cars developed by MTYH.
It was based on the Nemean Lion that was known for its viscousness and armored skin. The Nemean Lion was said to lay waste to several countries until it was killed by the Greek hero Hercules in one of his 12 famous labors. It's skin was even turned into a pelt by Hercules which he wore like an armor.
The Nemean Lion was so impressive that the gods made it into the Constellation Leo which was also one of the zodiacs. So it could be imagine just how powerful an armored vehicle based on it was.

They could easily withstand a [X Class] attack, made of pure anti-magic reinforce steel, has an underwater and flight mode, has missiles, lasers, plasma ray, and even a Railgun.
It was literally a monster on wheels.
The cost of one these monsters was equivalent to a national budget, which was worth it considering it had the fire power to battle a [X Class].
“Sebas is really going all out.”
The one who said that was a man with white hair, and dressed in a white suit.
“Cursed King Arsene.”
“Hm?”
Arsene who was sitting on the ledge of a building, turned around when he heard someone call his name.
“Oh, well isn't this a honor.”
The person who was behind him was shrouded in darkness, so their physical features couldn't be seen. But for someone of Arsene’s level, this darkness couldn't stop him from recognizing who the person was.
“The Demon Blacksmith, Miguel. Why do I have the honor of meeting the man hailed as the creator of all weapons?”
Arsene spoke with a sarcastic tone.
“Leave my city at once, Cursed King. Your kind are not allowed here any more.”
Miguel said with a harsh tone.
“Oh, cold. I wasn't the one who almost destroy your city five years ago. That was Lennox. Please don't blame all Tyrants for the crimes of one.”
Arsene then smiled.
“But more importantly, you finally admit that you're the one who created MYTH. It was just speculation for years, so thanks for your confirmation.”
He said with a bow.
“…….”
Miguel said nothing in response to Arsene's courteous behavior. But even so Arsene continued.
“I mean who else but you could create such ingenious inventions. As expected of Hephaestus’ Proxy.”
“Enough. State your reason for breaking into my city.”
Arsene pointed at the direction of the 11th District.
“I simply came here to watch over my former queen’s grandson. I'm also good friends with Nero and Nova, so I felt like Miko and I could get along as well.”
He said.
“By the way, is this okay? Won't your city suffer some serious damage if this battle happens?”
“That's none of your concern. Leave, don't make me repeat myself.”
“Hahahaha! I'll leave when I want. It's not like you're here anyway, and your shadow projection is nowhere enough to force me out. So I want to see how will you make me leave.”
“Like this. Gaia, eject the contamination.”
The moment Miguel said that a white light devoured Arsene. He didn't have enough time to react before he was removed from the city and flung outside the continent.
“Fool. This is my city. There are certain functions that only I can access.”
He then became silent for a while before mumbling-
“No matter how much damage the city receives from this fight, it doesn't matter since the experiment is almost complete. At that time I will no longer have any need for the city or its inhabitants.”
After saying that he disappeared.
Outside the entrance that led into the 11th District.
Countless soldiers and enforcers armed with all kinds of high powered weapons stood at attention with serious expressions.
Behind them were hundreds of armored vehicles and tanks. In the air heavily armed drones flying in the sky along with androids that were using personal aircrafts.
If one was to see such an army, they would naturally shake in fear whether it was aimed at them or not.
Tension was at its peak as Sebas made his appearance in front of the terrifying army.
“Any signs of Exsul?”
He asked a nearby soldier.
The soldier saluted and then spoke.
“None sir! We haven't notice any suspicious movements on our way here either!”
Sebas frowned when heard that.
“Strange. What is that brat planning now? I doubt he ran.”
He then thought about it some more and turned around and looked at his army.
“Men, today we're here to eliminate a great threat and we will not stop until every scum as been eliminated!”
He drew his saber from his waist.
“March on and destroy thy enemy!”
“OHHHHHH!”
The soldiers and enforcers roared and they all moved together past Sebas and towards the Night District.
And then-
*BOOM!*
An explosion suddenly occurred at the front of the marching army and blew away countless soldiers.
“What happened?! Where were we attacked from?!”
“Right here, Sebas.”
At that moment, Miko appeared out of nowhere holding a bazooka while dressed in a black trench coat.
“I want to know who gave you bitches permission to enter my kingdom?”
He said with an arrogant tone.
“Miko!”
Seeing Miko made the hate Sebas felt for him intensify.
“The enemy is in front of you! Engage!”
Sebas roared.
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
“?!”
However before his soldiers could react several loud explosions came from inside the Night District.
The night sky lit up and everyone could see something that looked like fireworks flying up in the sky.
“Missiles!”
Sebas screamed.
“Shot them down!”
The androids and drones that were in the air started intercepting the missiles.
Miko smiled.
“Those aren't missiles.”
A crazy look appeared in his eyes.
“Those are rockets carrying suicide bombers.”
Sebas looked up and saw the rockets open up and people diving out of it. They were all people with bombs strapped to themselves.
They all held Gatling guns which they used to open fire on the androids and drones.
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
The bullets from the Gatling guns rip the androids and drones apart. Of course the people were turned into minced meat.
However, they didn't just die like that. As if they were possessed by the devil, the suicide bombers pressed the triggers and caused their bombs to detonate.
*BOOM!*
Each explosion was so massive that it took several drones and androids with them.
Some who were able to past the aerial team, fell straight to the ground with insane looks on their faces.
They detonated their bombs while laughing hysterically.
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
Screams of terror came from Sebas’ army as they were blown to pieces. They were thrown into chaos by the Mad bombardment.
“Hahahahaha! So those rebels did have some use after all.”
Miko held his stomach and laughed as he watched the hellish scene come to an end.
“MIIIKKKOOO!”
Sebas roared and fired a shot right through Miko’s head.
Miko's body fell over while throwing up two middle fingers with a devilish smile.
“Now that I took care of your air team, you have permission to enter.”
Miko's body disappeared the moment it hit the floor.
But his voice still echoed through out the city.
“Come, Sebas Lovefall! Enter the place that will serve as your grave!”
