3rd District.

This was one of the high class districts in the city, where the richest of the rich lived.

Inside this district there was a certain home that belonged to a certain man who belonged to a certain occupation.

“Mhm! Mhm!”

Inside the house the man who belonged to a certain profession was hung upside down with his mouth gagged.

Sitting in front of him were two persons, they were Miko and Edward.

Standing by the man's sides were Regis and Ishma.

“Let him speak.”

Miko calm said.

Regis nodded and removed the tape.

“Help! Help!”

Upon being freed the man started screaming for help.

“Shut it!”

Ishma slapped the man so hard a tooth flew out his mouth. He immediately shut up.

“Billy, Billy, Billy. It's the middle of the night, you can't be screaming so loud. What if you woke up the neighbors?”

Miko said with a compassionate smile.

“Why are you doing this?! I've done nothing to offend you in any way!”

“True.”

Miko easily admitted.

“However, you did ignore our calls even though we were customers.”

“I didn't ignore you! I ignored him! Everyone in the crime world knows that working with him is a taboo!”

Miko snapped his fingers.

*Pah!*

The man, Billy was instantly slapped by Ishma.

“Refusing to work with him is like refusing to work with me.”

Miko narrowed his eyes.

“Should I show you what happens to those who ignore me?”

Billy's body shivered when he looked into Miko's draconic eyes.

“I-I'm sorry! I apologize! It was a foolish mistake on my part!”

“No, no, no billy. I don't need an apology I need some customer service.”

“If that's all you want then you have it! I'll sell you any weapon you want for half the price!”

“Oh! What a generous offer!”

Miko said with an over dramatic tone.

“But sadly, I no longer feel like spending Edward's hard earn money with you. I want someone else.”

“Someone else?”

“That's right.”

Miko suddenly clapped like he just had a great idea.

“I know. Connect me with your supplier. If you do that I'll consider everything forgiven.”

“This was what you wanted from the beginning?!”

Miko simply smiled and didn't respond to Billy.

“Supplier’s name and contact info, and make it snappy!”

Ishma slapped him again while saying that.

“I-I can't! The person I work with is a very scary person! If I talk I'll be killed!”

“But if you don't talk you'll be skinned alive and be delivered to your wife and daughter.”

Miko took out a picture.

It was a picture of Billy and beautiful woman and adorable little girl.

“Cute lil Madison has a violin recital tomorrow if I remember correctly.”

“Leave my family out of this!”

Billy angrily shouted.

“Why? They say the sins of the parent will affect the child.”

Billy glared at Miko with blood flowing from his mouth.

“Hahaha! Calm down, Billy. I won't do anything to your daughter. I'm a man of morals after all.”

Billy sighed in relief.

“However, I have no problem sending her a violin made of your bones. Just imagine the beautiful music she could make using her father.”

Miko's casual words made Billy ashen.

“Last chance, Billy. Give me what I want, or I'll send your daughter an instrument made of your body parts every year on her birthday. Your choice.”

“Wow. The reports were true, you're one insane kid.”

Edward said as they left Billy's home.

“In this type of world the insane are the most feared and respected, my dear Edward.”

Miko said with a laugh.

“I'm surprised you let him live.”

“I need someone to spread the word that we're working together after all. Billy will talk of my intentions of joining the crime world and of my cruel methods. Consider it free advertising.”

“You might be more fit for the crime world than I am.”

Edward said with an impressed tone.

“Well, I am technically the crime lord of my entire kingdom.”

Miko said with a proud smile.

“Anyway, Billy's supplier. Are you familiar with them?”

Edward nodded.

“I am. Kevan Case, a top arms dealer who is said to supply over 5% of the criminals in the city with even the simplest weapons.”

“Sounds like quite the big shot.”

“He is. I tried to work with him before, but just like all the others he refused. I also heard that he works under the Twin Headed Dragon Syndicate.”

“The syndicate, huh?”

Miko showed a meaningful smile.

“Then all more the reason to pay him a visit.”

“You're gonna kill and rob him aren't you?"

“Wow! Only a few days of working with each other and you can already predict my thoughts. I am impressed.”

“But can't you reach him. He's pretty heavily guard you know.”

Miko burst out laughing.

“You forgot who I am? I'm the grandson of the world’s #1 assassin, as well as her pupil. Assassinating a weapons dealer is a walk in the park.”

That same night, Miko appeared in front of the gates of a mansion that belonged to Kevan Case.

Just like Edward said, it was really heavily guarded.

There were dozens of men by the gates with Tridents and other high power guns.

In the air were several drones flying about while using search lights to check the ground.

There were also many androids and people with powersuits who acted as the last line of defense.

“Wrecking all of this would be fun, but sadly I'm here to assassinate someone. So I need to play the role of an assassin. I can't be too flashy.”

Saying that Miko started recalling a time when his grandmother taught him the perfect move to increase the success of any assassination attempt.

“First, relax your body with deep breaths.”

Miko started taking deep breaths thus relaxing his every muscle.

“Second, calm your heart to the point you can barely feel it beating.”

His heart rate dropped to point that it was hard to believe that he was alive.

“Lastly, erased all thoughts from your mind that has nothing to do with the job. Even if it's your name, lock it away. You're nothing but a nameless arrow chasing after its target.”

Miko immediately emptied his mind of everything except his mission.

The result of doing all these things was Miko becoming like a ghost with no presence at all.

He was there, but at the sametime not.

Kimiko called this Null Form. Anyone who uses it will become the perfect killing machine.

“…….”

Miko silently walked towards the gate while using stealth camouflage.

He stood in front of an unexpecting guard, and then it happened.

*Swoosh!*

Miko's figure flickered as he continued walking past the guards. It wasn't long before he stood at the gate with no guards to blocking him.

He held out a bag in front of him that had red liquid seeping through it, and opened the gate.

The moment he stepped inside all the guards behind him fell over lifelessly, with a fist size hole in their chest.

They all had their hearts removed and placed in the bag by Miko in a split second.

Miko figure disappeared after walking a few steps into the yard.

*Swoosh!*

It was like a gust was blowing through the yard as he ran.

Every obstacle it blew past was silently taken out.

Miko appeared at the front door of Kevan Case virtually undetected by those inside.

After making his way in, Miko pushed opened the door a swiftly killed the two guards inside.

He then looked a saw a middle age man laying asleep on the bed.

Miko silently approached him and placed his hand over Kevan’s nose.

“Hah?!”

Kevan was soon awoken.

Before he got the chance to process the information, Miko made himself visible and stared into his eyes.

“Stay quiet.”

Kevan who was about to scream, suddenly found himself unable to talk.

“I want you to give me all the information about your weapons and dealings.”

As if he was a puppet, Kevan opened a drawer and took out a chip and unwilling gave it to Miko.

Miko took it and pocketed it.

“Sleep.”

Kevan passed out and fell back into his bed.

Miko then swiftly insert his hand in Kevan’s chest and removed his heart.

Miko then threw out all of the other hearts on Kevan’s body, and pocketed Kevan’s heart and left.

Miko walked past dozens of guards in the home and left the mansion. The yard was filled with dead bodies which were yet to be noticed by the other guards.

Miko left the yard and disappeared in the night like he never was there.

Back at the main gate, Kevan’s heart was stabbed to a spike. It had the word “Exsul” on it.

All in all, it took Miko less than five minutes to do the hit.

“Damn….You actually did it.”

Said Edward.

He was looking at holographic window in front of him.

This window displayed a website that was on city’s dark net. This site displayed the latest news about the underworld.

On it Edward saw a post with the title “Kevan Case killed!”

“Notorious weapons dealer Kevan Case was killed last night along with dozens of his guards. Case and the guards all died the same way, they had they're heart removed. The weird thing was that only the guards stationed outside Case’s mansion were killed, everyone inside except Case were perfectly fine and unaware of when Case had died. Case’s body was found covered in the hearts of the guards killed, but Case’s own heart wasnt among them. His heart was later found with the word ‘Exsul’ at his front gate.”

Edward read.

“A lot of people are taking about this.”

“Can you use this?”

Miko asked.

“Of course. Leave it to me.”

Edward took out a tablet and pressed his palm on the screen.

The moment he did Miko saw binary numbers flashing in his eyes.

“Oh?”

Miko then looked at the holographic window and looked at the forums.

All of a sudden posts stating that Exsul was a new syndicate head by Edward and himself started popping up.

At first it was in the state of a rumor, but after a post mentioned the other rumor about Miko and Edward torturing Billy for information more and more people started believing it.

Edward started manipulating the forums by posting facts and fictions at a realistic pace that made it seemed like several people were having a discussion instead of one man.

After a few minutes, Edward’s dummy posts weren't needed anymore. Exsul had became a hot topic on the dark web.

Edward smiled when he saw that, and then post a link. Once someone clicked on the link it would bring them to another site on the dark web.

The name of the site was Exsul.

On the site was an image of a crow entangling with a dragon, with a gear in the background.

Other than the picture there was only a “Sign Up Here” button.

“Now we just wait.”

A week later in district 2.

Inside of Edward's club Black Roses were a large group of people chatting among themselves.

Most of them were young and tough looking. There were also a lot of women and young girls among them.

These were the people who signed up to join Exsul.

Suddenly the stage in front of them lit up, and Miko walked on stage.

“It's him! The Heavenly Demon King!”

Miko's entrance naturally drew the attention of all the people inside.

He received lots of cheers especially from the girls.

Miko raised his hand indicating that they should be quiet.

“I would like to thank you all for coming today. But first…”

Miko smiled as his eyes turned purple.

“All those who were planted by law enforcers or rival gangs, kill yourselves this instant.”

He had used [Rule].

Immediately after, dozens of people started falling to ground after biting their tongues or slitting their throats.

This shocked the other persons.

Seeing the dead spies brought Miko pleasure, so he smiled and said-

“For those of you who are left, Welcome to Exsul. I hope you're all prepared for what's to come.”
