《Mythical Conquest》Most Wanted

“S Rank Criminal, that's what the law enforcers of the city are called the Dragna King Gamiko Dragna the Third; more popularly known as Heavenly Demon King Miko.”
In the sky of the city a newscast was playing for all to see.
“According to the authorities King Miko is an extremely dangerous person despite his young age. His crimes include several counts of mass murder, destruction of property, kidnapping, torture, espionage, among many more.”
A photo was then shown in the sky.
“This was the photo that our camera crew was able to take before they were brutally attacked.”
The camera showed Miko jumping to deliver a kick. It was a bit blurry.
“And this is the photo that was sent to us at the studio by who we believe to be Miko himself.”
A different photo was shown.
This one was of Miko throwing up middle fingers. He was shirtless and had a bandanna wrapped around his head, and the words “Most Wanted” tattooed across his stomach.
He looked like an old school rapper.
By the way, Ishma and Regis were dressed in a similar fashion in the back. Ishma looked like she was enjoying herself, while Regis was obviously embarrassed.
When one looked at the pictures they immediately thought that Miko was a reckless kid playing gangster.
“Why are you just making it worse for yourself?”
Bloom said with a sigh as she saw the broadcast.
“What should we do?”
She asked Jin who was laying on a bench in the park she was in.
“Leave it alone. Unless the Pillars ordered us specifically, we’ll just ignore him. There's no need to have an altercation over something so stupid.”
He said without opening his eyes.
“This is between him and Sebas, it has nothing to do with us.”
“What if the Pillars order us to get involved?”
Her tone had a bit of anxiety in it. Jin noticed that and entered deep thought before answering.
“….If that happens then I would personally move to carry it out. There's no need for you guys to get involved.”
Bloom stayed silent with a complex look on her face.
Meanwhile the criminal himself wasn't in hiding like everyone thought he would be, he was walking down the streets of the 11th District without care.
“The so called Night District is pretty dead in the day. It was much livelier when I came here for Blanche.”
He said as he walked through the nearly deserted streets.
“Prostitutes and drug addicts have to sleep too you know.”
Said Regis.
“Well, I guess you're right about that.”
Miko looked around and noticed that he was getting stared at by the few people around him. It was obvious that they recognized him.
He smirked.
“Come on and try your luck. Who knows, you might get a lucky hit and defeat me. But…”
He stared at them with demonic eyes.
“But if you're not prepared for what happens if you don't get that lucky hit, then scram before I use your intestines to decorate my house.”
“?!”
All those who were staring at him all took a step back when they met his gaze.
Some even stumbled backwards and fell on their butt.
After a few seconds they all started to scatter and run away from Miko's direction.

“They could've at least shown a little courage.”
Said Ishma.
“So what are we going to do now?”
Regis asked.
“Well, I'm public enemy #1. Although it's the opposite of what I had planned, it's a more interesting outcome I guess.”
Miko said with a smile.
“For now lets just continue doing whatever we want and crush whoever we want.”
“Then we're going to have a grand slaughter?”
Ishma asked.
“More and so, yes.”
“Alright!”
She turned around.
“Then lets kick it off!”
A blade flew out of her palm and stabbed through the air.
Blood could be seen dripping out of nowhere on the ground.
“Ugh?!”
Miko suddenly heard a groan and a person appeared out of nowhere.
“These helmets are really impressive, but their useless against someone who honed their instincts through countless wars.”
Ishma said with a cocky smile.
She pulled her blade that was lodged in the person's throat.
“Keh! Keh!”
The person stepped back while holding their throat as if trying to stop the bleeding, but the blood seeped through their fingers and were unable to stopped the blood.
Ishma smiled when she saw that.
“Die.”
She tabbed the ground with her feet, and dozens of blades shot out.
The person watched the blades approach in horror until their eyes were crushed.
The blades lodged into his body and lifted him off the ground like a skewered piece of meat.
“Time for round two!”
Ishma snapped her fingers and hundreds of blades burst out of the ground like trees and rose into the air.
“Guaaaah?!”
Several screams echoed through out the district as dozens of people appeared out of nowhere with blades stabbed into them.
Their blood flowed to the ground underneath them and created a pool of blood that reflected their final hours.
“Hahahahaha! Sweet! It's been so long since I've impaled so many people at once!”
In front of the hellish painting that she created, Ishma laughed and licked her lips.
There was a crazy looked in her eyes and her body was trembling with excitement. Even her face was flushed.
“….Oi, is that how I look when I kill people?”
Miko asked.
“(More or less)”
Regis and Tia answered at the same time.
Ishma turned and looked at Miko.
“That's no good, boy. You can't allow so many people to approach you undetected. If I wasn't here then you would've been ambushed.”
Ishma spoke with a more teasing yet dignified tone than she normally uses.
It made Miko remember that she was a 10,000 year old demon and the daughter of Lucifer.
However, Miko didn't like being taunt by someone who had the attention span of a cat.
“I detected them too. I was just waiting for them to attack so that I could swiftly crush them.”
“Don't lie. You're Qi wasn't spread out so you had no way of detecting them.”
She was right.
Miko didn't want to use too much energy in case he needed to have a big battle, so he didn't spread his Qi out and use it as a radar.
“It's not cute to lie.”
Miko really felt like slapping the smirk off Ishma's face, but he restrained himself.
“Since you can detect those wearing the Hades Invisibility Helmet then serve as our scout. If you do that, I'll introduce you to a new type of sweets.”

“Really?! Which one?!”
The mature atmosphere around Ishma immediately disappeared without a trace.
“What's it called?!”
“Cotton candy.”
“Oh! I saw that I tv! I want it!”
“If you do your job then I'll buy it for you.”
“Deal!”
Ishma readily agreed.
She then clasped her hands together and crow wings spurted from her back.
Miko then saw something unbelievable.
The crows wings suddenly had eyes popping up on them. At first it was only a few, but it didn't take long for the entire wing to be covered with green eyes.
The eyes then merged and form two giant eyes on the two wings.
A feather then detached itself from a wing and flew towards Miko and hit his head.
“?!”
Miko was shocked to see that he was seeing from numerous point of views at once.
He could see people who were hidden away hundreds of meters away.
“This is the limit I can do with my current power but it should be enough. I connected your sense to the eyes on my wings, so you should be able to see through everything.”
Said Ishma.
Miko was seriously impressed. Not only could Ishma see the hidden people but she could share her sense of sight with others.
It was obvious that all that talk about instincts were crap. For some reason, Ishma had always been able to see through the invisibility helmet.
It was likely it was due to her ability as a true demon.
“Either way, this is just perfect.”
Miko's body released his Qi without restraint and caused the ground to burst open.
He then immediately activated [Dragon Rage] and purple aura formed hungry looking serpentine dragons behind him.
Miko then mixed his Qi with his aura and created a Qi armor around his dragons.
“Now then….”
Miko stomped his foot and the serpent dragons rushed from behind him and head towards the unexpected people hundreds of meters away.
*Boom!*
The dragons burst through several buildings and attacked the hidden soldiers.
“Ahhh!”
They screamed in horror as they watched their comrades being ripped apart before their eyes.
“Damn it! We've been discovered! Send in the bots!”
A woman among the group ordered.
Shortly after her order, the sound of something cutting through the air came from above Miko.
He looked up and saw several jets flying above. The jets past him in a blink of an eye, but not before releasing their packages.
Miko watched as steel coffins fell from the sky and crashed into the earth.
*Boom!*
The coffins were kicked open and Miko could see people emerging from the coffins with an evil look in their eyes.
“Slayers, kill the enemy!”
The woman roared.
“Affirmative!”
The people from the coffin shot forward towards Miko with a bloodthirsty look.
Miko quickly control the dragons and made them attack the people.
*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*
They slapped away the dragons with their fists.
“Oh? Androids, huh?”
Miko smiled and shot forward as well.
“Now this is really like a Sci-fi!”
He took his dragon form and increase his speed.
*Boom!*
He jumped and kicked an android in the chest and blew them back.
Another one turned their arm into a cannon and pointed it at his head.
*Boom!*
Miko leaned back dodged the cannon blast. It travelled and destroyed a building near him.
He uppercut that android and lifted him off the ground.
“Fuckoff Punch!”
*Boom!*
He blast him to pieces with a punch.
An android appeared behind him and swung a 6 meter sword.
“No you don't!”
Regis appeared out of nowhere and kicked them in their face and crushed its head.
She then spurted her bladed wings. The blades all shot forward and aimed to impale the androids.
However, the androids were agile. They twisted their bodies and skillfully avoided the blades while approaching her.
Regis smiled and her palms started glowing azure.
“Royal Cutter Palms!”
She stepped forward and thrust her palms forward.
A powerful force blew away everything in front of her while cutting them to pieces.
The androids were no exception. They were instantly destroyed and reduced to scrap metal.
*Boom!*
All of a sudden something was shot at Miko and others and caused a huge explosion.
Miko retreated in time, and looked around.
“Damn, that's a huge tank!”
What he saw was a tank that was as big as a building.
“Die!”
The woman who was leading them pointed her sword and the tank fired a gigantic shot which made the entire district shake.
“Fuckoff Punch!”
Miko threw a full powered punch to counter the shot.
*Boom!*
“Guah?!”
Miko's punch was able to cancel out the shot but he was blown back with his body covered in wounds.
He flew through several buildings before crashing into the earth.
*Boom!*
The woman didn't give him any time to rest. She used the tank to destroy a few buildings and appear in front of Miko.
“Die, Heavenly Demon King!”
She pointed the giant muzzle at him.
“Die? You're not worthy!”
He stretched his hand out.
“Ishma!”
“Oh!”
Green lightning struck his hand and turned into a sword.
The lightning covered Miko and dyed him green as well.
“Fire!”
The woman ordered the tank to attack.
*Boom!*
“Go to hell, Bitch!”
Lightning wings appeared on each side of sword and screech of a crow echoed out in the area.
“Demon Crow’s Hellish Thunder!”
Miko swung down the sword and blast of green lightning ripped through the district as if a flying crow, and clashed with the tank’s shot.
*BOOOOOOOM!*
The collision caused a massive explosion that devoured several buildings and people.
*Screech!*
From that explosion a green crow burst forward and flew towards the tank.
“Fuckkkk!”
The woman screamed as the crow flew through the tank with no resistance and cut it down the middle.
*Boom!*
It exploded and caused another massive explosion which killed the woman and her comrades.
Miko stood in his draconic form with a craze look in his eyes.
“Now this is fun!”
He spoke with his fangs seeping in his own blood.
“More! Send more to me, Sebas Lovefall! Let's paint the city in the blood of your people!”
Miko's mad laugh echoed through the district as countless bodies burn around him.

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
