Ace and Toro’s battle was reaching a new level of ferocity.

Every punch they threw hit their mark.

The two at some point have forgotten what it meant to dodge. They just pounded away at each other without mercy.

*Boom!* *Boom!*

Neither of them showed any signs of backing down.

*Boom!*

Ace slammed his broken arm on Toro’s bloody face.

He took several steps back.

He then ran up and uppercut Ace.

*Boom!*

Ace was forced back a couple steps.

He stopped and caught his breath, and then drop-kicked Toro.

*Boom!*

Toro was forced back, and landed on his head back.

Ace also laid on his back.

The two were breathing heavily with aching bodies.

They laid there for a while, and slowly recovered their strength.

The other didn't complain, neither did the audience.

The two fought so ferociously that it wasn't strange that they were already burnt out.

After around 15 minutes, the two sprung to their feet at the sametime.

“….Now that I think about it, I don't even know your name.”

Ace suddenly said.

“Now that you mention it, you're right. We were too busy pounding each other that it completely slip my mind.”

Toro started walking towards Ace.

Ace also started waking towards him.

The two meet midway and stood in front of each other.

Toro lifted his arm and held his hand out.

“The name’s Toro. I don't belong to a clan or prestigious family, so I don't have a surname.”

Ace stretched out his arm and shook Toro’s hand.

“Ace. I might have a surname, but unfortunately I'm suffering from a bit amnesia so I don't remember it.”

“I see. Nice to meet you.”

“The pleasure is all mine.”

The two shook hands with bright smiles.

“Now then…”

“Die!”

*Boom!* *Boom!*

They suddenly punched each other at the same time.

Both their bodies swung back, but because they were still holding on firmly on each other's hand, they didn't fly back.

Ace pulled Toro towards him and headbutt him.

*Boom!*

Toro’s body swayed before he replied with a right hook.

*Boom!*

Ace held his ground and headbutt him again, before following up with an uppercut.

Toro almost collapsed to the ground.

He angrily replied with his own headbutt.

*Boom!*

He headbutt him again.

*Boom!*

Ace's brain rattled in his head and his vision faded.

*Boom!*

An uppercut cut of his consciousness for a few seconds.

He let go of Toro’s hand.

Toro stepped in and through another right hook.

However, Ace ducked under it and countered with an uppercut.

Toro took a couple dizzy steps back.

*Boom!*

Ace slammed his leg in Toro’s stomach and kicked him away like a football.

Toro bounced off the ground a few times before coming to a stop.

“?!”

When he looked up, he saw Ace falling towards him; aiming a stomp at his head.

*Boom!*

Toro rolled out of the way and got to his feet.

Ace rushed at him, but toro jumped and kicked him away.

He then chased after him and hit him with a right hook, and then a couple left jabs.

He threw the finisher, but Ace ducked under the punch and gave Toro a heavy body blow.

*Boom!*

He then started to pound Toro’s midsection.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

Toro desperately hit Ace in the face with a knee strike and forced him back.

He gathered Qi around his fist and slammed it onto Ace’s chest.

*Boom!*

The attack attacked Ace's heart directly and stopped it.

Toro smiled as he saw Ace stumbling back.

He rushed forward and swung his claws, intending to rip Ace in two.

*Boom!*

“Guah?!”

He was shocked when Ace, whose heart was supposed to stop, kicked him under his chin.

Ace gathered Qi around his fist and slammed it in the middle of Toro’s chest.

*Crack!*

His fist caused Toro’s chest-plate to shatter and his chest to sink in.

Ace tried to follow up with a kick to the head, but Toro quickly jumped back.

“Cough?! Cough?!”

He coughed up the bad blood gathering in his chest.

Ace shot towards him and aimed a kick at his head.

Toro leaned back and dodged it, he then retreated some more.

“….I'm pretty sure I killed you.”

“Well the boundary between life and death is extremely thin. Sometimes when you cross it you can find your way back.”

Ace said with a shrug.

Toro didn't know what he meant, but he knew that Ace somehow could restart his heart after it stops.

“Looks like I'll need to transform.”

He retreated even further, and focused on all the muscles in his body.

*Pop!* *Pop!* *Pop!*

Popping sounds came from his body as his muscles started pulsating.

His skin darken and became rough.

He grew black fur around some parts of his body.

His body doubled in size, and grew a pair of horns and tail.

“A Minotaur?”

Ace said in surprise.

“No, he used Qi so he has human blood. A half-breed?”

“That's right. I'm half Minotaur.”

Toro declared proudly.

“Oh! So that's why you're called Toro(Bull)!”

Ace said with an enlightened expression.

“That's right!”

Toro kicked off the ground and rushed towards Ace.

He was at least three times faster.

*Boom!*

He threw a right hook, and Ace blocked it with his arm.

*Crack!*

“Ugh?!”

The sound of his arm breaking reached his ears.

He leaped back, but Toro was persistent.

He leaped the same time as Ace and threw another right hook.

Ace was forced to use his other arm to block it.

*Boom!*

This arm also broke.

Toro came after him again.

“[Leg Boost X3]!”

Ace legs glowed and thicken in an instant.

*Boom!*

He poured power in his legs and leaped back.

He flew back several meters and dodged Toro’s hook.

Toro chased after him.

“Bring it!”

Ace shot forward and swung his leg.

*Boom!*

His leg slammed into Toro’s midsection and blew him back.

Toro’s feet skidded on the ground, and he slowly came to a stop.

He shot forward again and focused his Qi around his fists.

“[Code Breaker: Monster Brawler]!”

Ace's Brawler character suddenly doubled in size and gained several monster traits.

He moved towards Toro and welcomed his battle.

*Boom!*

The two threw a right hook at the same time, and punched each other in the face.

Toro slammed his fist in Ace's chest.

Ace replied with a knee strike to the face.

He then spun around with a roundhouse kick, to break Toro’s neck.

Toro blocked it with his arm and dragged ace's leg towards him.

*Boom!*

He headbutt Ace and lifted him by the leg.

With a spin he slammed Ace on the ground.

*Boom!*

The impact was so powerful it burst open the ground.

Ace was lifted up by his leg again, and was about to be slammed on the ground.

“[Valley Maker]!”

*BOOM!*

Ace chopped Toro’s head with his hand.

The impact ran through Toro’s body and caused a crater to form under him.

“Guah?!”

Blood sprayed out of Toro’s nose like a hose.

He released Ace’s leg and took several unsteady steps back.

Ace landed on the ground.

He gathered orange light around his crocodilian fist.

“[Monstrous Big Impact]!”

Ace thrust his towards Toro’s chest, but Toro sensed the danger and moved his body a little. This caused his shoulder to be hit instead of his chest.

*BOOOM!*

Toro was sent flying like an arrow with his body spinning like a top.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

He flew through several buildings while still spinning. He only stopped after the 12th building.

He laid broken on the streets with his entire right shoulder missing.

“Shit. I almost died just now.”

He covered himself with Qi and started altering his beastly features.

Some parts of him resemble that of a lion, while others resembled a tiger, an elephant, a wolf, etc.

After combining several beastly features with his Minotaur form, Toro looked nothing short of a chimera monster.

He quickly got to his feet and faced Ace who was walking towards him.

“This is my final form. If you beat me in this form then it's your undisputed victory.”

“Thank you for the information.”

The two ran forward and began pounding each other.

*Boom!* *Boom!*

Toro slashed Ace across the face, and the slap him with his back hand.

Ace sunk his fangs in Toro’s neck and tried to rip it.

“Guah?! Fuck! Let go!”

*Boom!*

Toro punched Ace in the head.

He kept pounding his head until Ace's head started bleeding.

Ace let go, and Toro slammed his fist on his nose.

*Boom!*

Ace was forced a couple steps back.

Toro ran up and hit him with a right hook.

*Boom!*

And then with a left.

*Boom!*

And then with another right.

He threw one more punch, but Ace bent his back and dodged it.

Ace then hit him with a right jab.

*Boom!*

“[Signature Move: 12 Hit Combo]!”

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

Ace rapidly hit Toro with twelve heavy blows to the face.

The armored skin protecting him cracked.

“[Thunder Bull’s Strike]!”

Lightning gathered around Toro’s fist as he hit Ace with it.

*BOOM!*

“Guh?!”

Lightning pierced through Ace’s body and created a hole in his stomach.

“Die!”

Toro hit Ace with another lightning fist.

*Boom!*

A second hole formed in Ace's stomach.

“Haaah!”

Ace eyes suddenly become ferocious.

He roared and started punching Toro without reserve.

Toro also started hitting Ace with everything he had.

“Ohhhh!”

The two’s blood started fly through the air as every punch they through sound like a thunder clap.

All of the armored skin that they had were destroyed. Only flesh pounded on flesh.

The two were equally matched in ferocity.

Neither of them back down.

*Boom!*

“Guh?!”

All of sudden Ace's body started sway to side like he was going to collapse.

“Haah!”

*Boom!*

Toro hit him in the face with jab.

The light suddenly left Ace’s eyes.

Toro saw that and knew that his victory was one punch away.

He poured all of his strength in his arm and threw one finally punch.

That's when Ace’s eyes suddenly lit up.

“[Equip]!”

A sword appeared in his hand.

Ace thrust his sword into Toro’s neck, while Toro’s fist smashed against Ace's face.

*Boom!*

Ace flew back like a broken kite, and crashed on the ground.

“Keh?! Keh?!”

Toro’s grabbed the sword stuck in his neck and pulled it out.

His body fell to the ground and twitched.

He looked at Ace with hateful eyes.

“…H…How could you…use a sword in a fist?!”

He shouted as he felt his life slipping from him.

Ace’s forcibly lifted his upper body.

There was a smile on his disfigured face.

“W-What’s wrong with using cheat codes when you're going to lose?”

After saying that he passed out.

Toro couldn't say anything as he felt his body go cold.

‘Shit! I can't believe I'm going to die at the hands of a cheating bastard!’

That was the last thought that went through his mind, as he died with an unwilling look on his face.

The arena was quiet as the two ferocious beasts laid on the ground after giving it their all.
