“Hello, everyone! Are you enjoying the battle?!”

“OHHH!”

“I see! I'm glad to hear it!”

Above the battlefield, there was a desk floating in the air. Sitting behind this desk were Nero and Nova, who were acting as commentators.

“Now then, things looks like it's beginning to heat up.”

“That's right, Old Man. Miko had a brief battle against two generals, in the end he was ‘saved’ by his parents.”

“Go Sasha!”

Nero suddenly shouted.

“That’s right. Go lil sis!”

Nova also cheered.

Kimiko felt the urge to slap her husband and son.

“On the other side we have Hinami who was taking on two generals as well. However, thanks to her fast thinking she was able to call over help in the nick of time.”

Nero started commentating again.

“But it seems that she and the Armored General have a bit of history?”

He stared at Hina who looked like she was demonizing by the second.

He naturally knew about Hina's past as well as what the armored general was to her.

However, he had no idea that the armored general was the monster she created prior to this competition.

He sensed that the armored general wasn't human, and that it was connected to Hina through the similarity of their mana flow. He just needed to connect the dots to figure out what was going on.

This was an unexpected surprise that he found interesting.

“Junior as their teacher, what do you think of Hina's and Sora's chances of beating their opponents?”

“I don't know. We'll have to wait and see.”

Nova answered with a smile.

He was obviously enjoying the chaos.

“Oh, looks like Ace finally encountered an enemy.”

Ace, who was the only one to walk at a normal pace when they separated, finally found someone who could block his path.

“Oh?”

Standing not too far away from him, was a short yet muscular man with black hair and eyes.

He was the General called the Black Beast Toro.

The two stopped and stared at each other for a while.

“Heh.”

They then began walking towards each other.

As they slowly closed in on each other, their bodies were slowly covered in a green light.

They both activated their Beastly Qi.

Ace started loosening his shoulders, while Toro cracked his fingers.

It didn't take long before the two were only a few meters from each.

They both bent their knees and thrust their fists forward.

*Boom!*

All the glass windows shattered when their fists collided.

They didn't waste anytime. It was kill on sight.

Ace’s free arm grew and was covered in scales.

He slashed his claws at Toro’s face.

Toro leaped back and dodged it. Ace immediately jumped after him and swung down his claws.

Toro released his claws and swung them upward.

Both claws dug into their targets and blood sprayed.

Toro quickly shot a blast from his mouth and hit Ace.

*Boom!*

Ace was blown back, but he spun in the air to regain his balance.

When his feet hit the ground, Toro was already in front of him swinging his claws.

Ace desperately bent backwards to the best of his abilities.

While he did that, he swung his foot upwards and hit Toro’s elbow.

*Crack!*

He could hear that it broke.

*Boom!*

“Ugh?!”

But Toro didn't seem to mind, and slammed Ace to the ground with a punch with his other arm.

Ace's body bounced off ground as he blacked out for a few seconds.

*Boom!*

Toro didn't waste time and immediately follow up with a stomped to the chest.

“Cough?!”

The ground cracked under Ace, as he felt his chest plate crack.

Toro immediately thrust down his claws to rip out Ace’s heart out.

*Clang!*

However, instead of flesh his claws clashed with steel like skin.

Ace had quickly used the armored wolves’ trait and shield his heart.

“Hah!”

Ace turned his skin into iron and headbutt Toro.

*Boom!*

Toro was forced to take couple steps back.

Ace quickly got to his feet.

“[Character Change:Brawler]!”

After activating his hand to hand combat character, Brawler, he quickly rushed to continue the fight.

*Boom!*

He lifted Toro off the ground with a body blow.

*Boom!*

He then sent him flying with a roundhouse kick to the side.

*Boom!*

Toro crashed through a building.

Ace chased after him, but-

*Boom!*

Toro quickly shot out of the building and punched Ace in the face.

Ace was blown back.

*Boom!*

Toro’s arm doubled in size and he clothesline Ace in the midsection.

*Crack!*

Ace could hear his ribs break.

He gritted his teeth and slammed both hands on Toro’s back.

Ace then wrapped his arms around his midsection, and lifted off the ground.

*Boom!*

Ace powerbombed on the ground, so hard several cracks ran up the buildings.

“Haaah!”

He then started to brutally pound Toro’s body without mercy.

“Roar!”

*Boom!*

However, Toro suddenly released a savage roar and hit Ace with a heavy punch.

*Boom!*

Another punch forced Ace off him.

He quickly got up, and slammed his abnormally thick leg on Ace’s chest.

Ace retreated a few meters back holding his chest.

Toro immediately charged at him like a mad bull. His entire body brimming with power.

Ace’s right arm gathered an orange light as it doubled in size.

“[Arm Boost X2]!”

He rushed forward while pouring all of his strength into his arms.

“Roar!”

Toro released a savage roar and thrust his arm forward.

“[Finisher: Big Impact]!”

*BOOOOM!*

The two fists collided and caused a massive explosion, which blew away everything in a 100m radius.

The audience cheered as they saw the overwhelming strength that those two possessed.

But they quickly grew silent as they saw the dust fade away.

The two’s arms that collided were like a broken sack of meat.

*Boom!* *Boom!*

However, the two didn't pause for a second and continued to savagely pound each other without mercy.

Their ferocity caused the audience to be speechless.

Even several members of the Triad couldn't help but be impressed.

“This team battle is really getting heated up!”

Nero stood up and shouted while having one foot on the table.

“…..Seriously, he's enjoying himself too much.”

Rouge said with a sigh.

While Ace was having a brutal fist fight, something else was happening that drew a lot of people's attention. Especially those from the Flameheart Clan.

Luka ran into Dario and Marco!

Luka floated in the air glaring at Dario, and completely ignoring Marco’s presence.

“Your Majesty, look. You have an admirer.”

Marco said with a carefree tone.

Dario didn't respond to his taunt. He just stared at Luka.

“Are you here to take my head?”

Luka didn't say anything. A dark vortex appeared behind her.

Her Regalia slowly emerged from it.

It started at Marco with a hungry expression.

“Oh?”

Marco smiled when he saw that.

“Roar!”

The serpent roared and charged towards him.

He quickly drew the saber on his waist and swung it.

*Boom!*

He blew the serpent back, but it quickly attacked him again.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

Marco and serpent entered a heated battle.

Every time the serpent rushed towards him he would repel it with a simple swing of his sword. However, the serpent was unbelievably tough. Every time it was blown back it would rush at him again.

Even so, he was enjoying himself.

While Marco was battling the giant serpent, Dario was facing Luka whose body was giving off a terrifying pressure.

“I didn't expect Lisa Flameheart to have a daughter hidden away. Then the fact that you came here specifically for me means that you know I'm the one who killed her?"

“?!”

Dario's words sent shockwaves in the Flameheart clan.

They all thought that the one who killed Lisa was Karim, but it turns out to be Dario.

It was like a new rage was building up inside of them. Maria and Darwin wished that they could go down there and rip Dario to shreds.

Luka’s gaze turned extremely cold.

“I don't regret doing it. Your mother allowed herself to get possessed, and was about to kill my brother.”

As he said this, Dario’s body started releasing a violent purple aura.

“If I was put in the same situation, I would do it again.”

Luka snapped when she heard that.

“Die!”

Lightning, ice, and darkness formed into one ball and was thrown at Dario.

Dario shot in the air and dodged it.

He drew his saber and rushed towards Luka.

Luka created a sword out of black ice and slash it towards him.

He countered with a slash of his own.

*Boom!*

The two attacks clashed and sent shockwaves through the area.

The surrounding soldiers, who were following Dario retreated in panic.

“Die! Die! Die!”

Luka roared as she madly swung her sword.

Dario on the other hand was calm.

He watched the blade, and struck its center gravity over and over again.

Finally with a full power swung, his saber split Luka's sword.

The saber then rushed towards Luka's neck.

Luka dodged it and slashed her claws at Dario.

Dario flew back and dodged it.

He then used his aura to form dozens of swords and limbs. They all rushed towards Luka.

Luka didn't pay them and mind, and rushed towards Dario.

The aura swords hit her body, but she didn't slow down at all.

“[Black Frost Roar]!”

A pillar of black winds blew away Dario's aura and charge towards him.

“[Royal Shield].”

Dario lifted his hand up, and a gold shield appeared and blocked it.

“Hah!”

Luka then rushed forward and recklessly thrust her fist forward, intending to smash Dario's skull with her fist.

“Woah there!”

*Boom!*

At this moment, Marco came out of nowhere and kicked her away.

She crashed into a building, and glared at him.

She then looked and saw that her Regalia was blown away too far away to keep Marco busy.

“Move!”

She roared at Marco, who stood in front of Dario.

“No can do. I'm a guard dog after all. It's my job to protect him.”

Marco said with a smile.

“Marco, the two of us will attack her together to quickly kill her.”

“?!”

Dario’s words caused all of the Flameheart members to burn with rage.

“Is that okay?”

Marco asked.

“Its better to kill her right now, before she becomes a problem.”

“Well, you're the boss.”

When he said that, Marco moved out of Dario's way and the two stood side by side.

Luka glared at them with intense hate, ready to face them.

“Go!”

Dario and Marco rushed towards her at the same time, wielding their sabers.

Seeing them quickly approaching, Luka's demon aura started overflowing.

She was ready to fight them both, when-

“Fuckoff Kick!”

*Boom!*

Miko appeared out of nowhere and kicked Marco across the face.

“Wha?!”

This caught Dario off guard.

He wasn't able to react to Miko swinging his fist.

“Fuckoff Punch!”

*Boom!*

Dario was sent flying into a building and destroyed it.

In two hits knocked away both Dario and Marco, which caused the audience to be stunned.

He then appeared in front of Luka. Looked at her and then-

“Get-your-shit-together Slap!”

*Pah!*

He slapped her.

This caused the entire stadium to become silent with shock.

Luka was also shocked and looked at him while rubbing her cheek.

“Listen, I'll say this once.”

He glared at her and spoke before she could ask his reason for slapping her.

“You aren't allowed to die here. You understand? You're too important to me to die in such a foolish manner. So get your shit together and fight with sense.”

Luka stared at him with wide eyes when she heard what he said.

She had to admit that she was acting a fool. She lost her cool and made a lot of unnecessary life threatening moves.

She even discarded her own safety just to kill Dario.

She remembered that killing Dario was just to bring her closure. It was just the starting point.

Her life would truly begin then. What type of life that is, she didn't know. But to find out she couldnt die here. She must live and discover her own destiny.

“Thank you.”

She looked at Miko and sincerely thanked him.

“No problem. I always saw that trope in tv shows and novels, so I just wanted to try it.”

He said as he turned and faced Dario and Marco, who already recovered from his attacks.

“Besides, I can't afford to lose anyone again. Otherwise, Deus Malum would take over and I'll kill everyone here in a fit of madness.”

Miko mumbled.

At that moment, a strange symbol appeared on his neck, before disappearing without anyone noticing.

“What did you say?”

“Nothing, let's just focus on what's in front of us.”

He smiled provocatively.

“Don't you agree, Dario.”

Dario voice was filled with rage as he roared.

“Miko!”
