After everyone separated, Hina went towards the east.

She quickly came across several of the city's soldiers.

Hina didn't feel like fighting these soldiers, so she quickly cast an illusion to elude them.

Shortly after, she heard explosions coming from the direction Miko and Luka went.

She stopped in the air and looked towards that direction.

“…..I think Mikky can handle himself.”

She said and then continued flying.

She originally wanted to go with Miko, but she didn't force it.

If Miko believes that it would be best for him to fight with Luka, then so be it. She has no intentions of allowing her emotions to ruin everything.

As she thought this, she saw something rushing towards her.

“?!”

She quickly moved her body and dodged a beam of light.

*Boom!*

The beam destroyed a couple buildings behind her.

She quickly looked where the beam came from.

There she saw a man, glowing and floating in the air like a star.

“To think that I actually missed a sneak attack. You have skills girl, I'll give you that.”

Hina floated in the air and stared at the man.

“General Barkley, right?”

“That's right!”

Dozens of beams of light suddenly shot towards Hina.

Hina didn't run from them, she flew forward and skillfully dodged them with minimal movement.

“Oh, interesting!”

Barkley swung his arm and created a sword of light, and rushed forward.

“[Manifestation]!”

Hina manifested a sword and rushed forward as well.

*Boom!*

The swords clashed.

Barkley then disappeared with a flash.

Hina quickly spun around and slashed behind her.

*Boom!*

Her sword once again clashed with Barkley’s.

A page fell from out of her sleeve, and she quickly manifested a knife.

She threw it at Barkley’s neck.

Barkley disappeared with a flash again.

“[Creation]!”

Hina quickly created an odd looking iron ball.

She threw it to her right.

*Boom!*

The ball exploded and a loud sound rang out.

Barkley who was coming towards her from that direction, was forced to stop and hold his ears.

*Boom!*

Hina took that opportunity to blow him away with a kick.

“Tch!”

Barkley disappeared again with a flash.

Hina quickly turned around and threw a punch. However the punch didn't hit anything.

*Boom!*

“Guh?!”

Instead she was hit from the side by a ball of light, which scorched her skin.

“As I thought. You can following my movements with your eyes.”

Barkley appeared not too far away from where she threw her punch.

“You can see me, but you couldn't react to the beam. Which means that you didn't sense my presence, you followed me with your eyes. That's some incredible eyesight.”

The glow around Barkley’s body grew even more intense.

His body then multiplied into five bodies.

“Let's see if your eyes can keep track of all of us.”

The five Barkleys all turned into beams of light and disappeared.

Hina anxiously looked around, trying to track all of them at once.

“There!”

*Boom!*

She threw punch and it slammed into Barkley’s face.

But he grinned.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

“Guh?!”

Hina was attacked from four different directions.

The other four Barkleys weren’t illusions but clones.

*Boom!*

They all attacked Hina once again.

Hina quickly activated her Qi and used it to create an illusion, and freed herself from the encirclement.

“This fight is very disadvantageous for me.”

She said.

She decided to avoid this fight of speed and run away.

“OHHH!”

“?!”

However, another enemy suddenly appeared out of nowhere and slammed her to the ground.

*Boom!*

She crashed into a building and destroyed it.

*Boom!*

She quickly charged out of the rumble and searched for her new enemy.

She found him standing on a roof not far away from her.

It was the armored general.

“Tsk.”

Hina frowned.

She already was being pressured by Barkley with his speed, and now she was supposed to face another troublesome opponent at the same time.

She wasted no time and changed into her monster mode.

“[Fantasy Maker]!”

She created a gigantic magic sword, and kicked off the ground.

Her target was the armored general. Barkley was just too fast.

The armored general pulled out a giant sword as well, and rushed to meet Hina.

The two swung their swords at the same time.

*Boom!*

Electric sparks emitted from Hina's sword, while the armored general’s sword released a blast of fire.

The two distanced themselves and rushed forward again.

*Boom!*

Fire and lightning clashed again.

“Ahh!”

Hina used her full strength and pushed the armored general back.

She then rushed forward, jumped, and swung down the huge sword.

*Boom!*

Bolts of lightning fell upon the general along with the heavy strike.

“Ohh!”

However, he roared and clashed with Hina's attack.

The two locked swords for a while, until Hina flipped back to avoid a beam from Barkley.

“Awaken!”

With Hina's shout the sword grew a mouth with lots of fangs.

Lightning gathered in the mouth and shot towards Barkley.

Barkley quickly fired a beam to counter.

*Boom!*

The attack illuminated the area.

Hina kicked off the ground and appeared in front of the armored general.

*Boom!*

She swung her giant sword to cut him in two, but he blocked it with his own sword.

He punched forward and slammed his fist in Hina's body.

“Ugh?!”

The heavy blow nearly forced to her knees. But she stood firm and dented his armor with a fist.

He was forced to take a couple steps back.

At this time, Barkley’s clones appeared at Hina's sides, intending to attack together.

*Roar!*

However, Hina's sword suddenly moved on its own, like a serpent, and bit off the head of two of the clones.

This caused the other clones to stop for a moment.

Hina used that moment to swing the sword and cut the remaining clones in half.

*Boom!*

The armored general took that chance to wildly swing his sword down on Hina.

The sword collided with a manifested shield, but the shield instantly shattered like glass under the heavy blow.

The sword cut into Hina's shoulder and blood sprayed out.

“Haaa!”

Hina dropped her sword, and thrust her claws through the armor and into his flesh.

*Boom!*

Black flames then burst inside the armor.

“Ahhh?!”

The armored general cried out in agony.

Hina created a magic gauntlet and spun around and punch Barkley who was trying to attack her from behind.

*Boom!*

“Cough?!”

However, she was also attacked behind by the armored general who was still on fire.

Barkley took that chance and blast her with a beam of light.

She was sent flying into a building wall.

“Roar!”

The armored general roared and punched her through the wall.

*Boom!*

The building collapse on her.

Barkley lifted his hand up and the sky was filled balls of light.

The lights then shot down and merged into a big beam and rushed towards were Hina was.

“[Sonic Spear]!”

*Boom!*

Before the beam could hit Hina, a white spear appeared out of nowhere and ripped through the giant beam.

Seeing that, the armored general rushed and attacked Sora who appeared out nowhere.

“Haah!”

*Boom!*

Hina flew out of the rumble and slammed her fist in the armored general’s helmet.

He was blown back a few meters and slammed into a wall.

*Boom!*

Hina kicked off the ground and stomped him through the wall.

He flew straight through the building and flew back outside.

*Boom!*

The building suddenly exploded and a red eyed Hina rushed out covered in Chaotic Qi.

The general quickly got to his feet and rushed towards her.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

The two started exchanging heavy blows.

*Boom!*

The general punched Hina the stomach.

She forced back the blood that was trying to escaped out her mouth and headbutt him.

She then jumped and kneed him.

He grabbed her clothes, and slammed her on the ground.

Hina swung her leg off the floor and kicked the back of his head.

He let go of her clothes and she leaped back to where Sora was.

She spat out the blood that was gathering in her mouth and spoke.

“Thanks for responding to my distress call, Sora.”

“No problem. Miko would kill me, if I let you die when I could've helped after all.”

Earlier when Hina used a bomb that released a high pitch sound, it wasn't to temporarily demobilize Barkley. It was a signal to Sora.

Sora was sensitive to high pitch sounds because of the magic he practices. He already knew about Hina's sound bomb, and recognized it.

He knew that Hina would only use that bomb for two reasons.

One, to demobilize the enemy so that she could escape. Two, to give away her location.

No matter which one, if Hina used it, it meant that she was facing some trouble and needed assistance.

So Sora quickly rushed towards her.

He made it in time to prevent her from receiving a fatal blow.

“Barkley, I'll be your opponent.”

“Hmph. I'll decide who I want to fight. However, since you're all going to die, then come!”

Barkley spoke arrogantly as he floated in the air.

Sora kicked off the ground and jumped. His feet didn't touch the ground even after a few seconds.

He continued to kick the air and raced towards Barkley.

Barkley grinned and rushed towards him with a light sword.

Sora thrust his spear.

*Boom!*

Light clashed with sound. Sword clashed with spear.

The two thrust and slashed at each other with an unbelievable speed.

Sora leaped back and thrust his spear. A blast of sound rushed forward and destroyed everything in its path.

Barkley’s sword glowed brighter as he swung it down.

*Boom!*

The sword ripped through the sound and slashed down on Sora.

Sora's figure instantly disappeared and popped up beside Barkley, swing the spear.

Barkley turned into a beam and disappeared.

Sora rushed after him.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

The two’s spear and sword clashed several times as they raced each other down.

Hina was left behind.

She looked at the armored general who was silently approaching her.

She whistled and the magic sword she created flew back into her hands.

The armored general also called for his sword.

Hina slowly started walking towards him, and he kept his slow pace.

After taking around 20 steps each, the two of them suddenly shot forward like arrows.

They poured all of their strength into their arms and swung their giant swords with all of their strength.

*Boom!*

The ground burst open and the nearby debris were blown away.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

The two then started to madly swing their swords without reserve.

They slashed with strong killing intent and bloodlust.

One would think that they were sworn enemies.

And then-

“….As expected of mother. You're really strong.”

“?!”

The armored general’s words shocked Hina and caused a small opening in her defenses.

*Boom!*

The general’s sword slammed into her chest and blew her back. She groaned and held her rapidly healing chest.

“You, what did you just say?”

She asked.

“I said that you were strong, Mother.”

The general’s voice was very rough and familiar to Hina.

“I don't remember having such a big child. Besides if you're my child, then Mikky would be your father. And I'm pretty sure we haven't reached that stage in our relationship yet.”

“No, you are my mother.”

Hina frowned when she heard that.

Even though she spoke with a joking tone, the general’s words struck a cord inside Hina. She couldn't help but feel that she was connected to him.

“Who the hell are you?!”

She pointed her sword and asked.

“I see that my armor is in the way.”

The General put his hands on the helmet and took it off.

“Does seeing my face bring up any memories?”

“?!”

Hina was frozen with shock, as she looked at the man in front of her.

No, the being in front of her.

It had red skin, a pair of black horns, and a handsome face.

The face was a bit more refine than before, but it wasn't a face she could forget.

“…..No way.”

She even took a few steps back.

“This shouldn't be possible!”

It was then Aeon’s words from four years ago rang in her mind.

“What if I told you that your ‘child’ was still alive?”

He passed it off as a taunt back then, but now she knew that his words were the truth.

“What's wrong? Shouldn't you give your child a hug? You created me after all.”

The monster spoke.

Hina quickly tried to assess the situation.

Eleven years ago the monster definitely blew itself up. However, what if it's self defense mechanism kicked in and it subconsciously reserved enough power to keep itself alive? What if Dario discovered it and decided to raise it into his own secret weapon?

If that was the case….

*BOOOOOM!*

A huge burst of magic was spontaneously released from Hina's body, which leveled the area for several miles.

The ground then started bursting open, and even the air shook.

A sinister black aura mixed with Hina's Chaotic Qi and created a dark purple color.

The space around her started warping, as if it was being affected by the unlawful chaos flowing from Hina.

“Now that I think about it, you're definitely my child.”

Black liquid started pouring from her eyes as her cornea turned black and her gold iris turned purple.

“But sadly, it seems that I'm the worst kind of mother there is.”

Serpents started spurting from her back, and hissed at the monster with venom dripping from their mouth.

Hina smiled savagely and said-

“You see, I really want to kill my own son!”
