《Mythical Conquest》The Country Of Dragons And Conquerors

When Miko heard that they arrived he looked up.
“….?”
He was confused.
The place they stopped at was large lake surrounding by a sea of trees. There wasn't any of settlement anywhere near there.
“This is the place?”
“Yep. You should be able to move by now.”
Saying so, she put him down.
She then moved closer to the lake.
“Hey, how much do you know about Dimensional Magic?”
“Not much. I just know that you use it to create and travel through multiple dimensions.”
“I see. Well, that's basically it.”
She used her hand to create a wiping motion and a stone monument appeared in the middle of the lake.
“What's that?”
Miko walked up beside her and asked. She grinned and answered.
“The gateway to another dimension.”
She then walked forward and started walking on lake’s surface.
Miko widen his eyes a little, and then started walking as well.
*Splash*
His foot sunk into the lake.
Momo started laughing when she saw that.
“Why did I sink while you stayed afloat?"
Miko said with a frown.
“That's because you believed that this lake was special. Sorry to break it to you, but other than the monument, the lake is completely normal.”
“So you were using magic.”
Momo shook her head, and walked back to Miko.
“I'm using something else. But don't worry I plan to teach you it later.”
She grabbed his hand and dragged him. Miko was surprised when he saw that he was standing on the water surface without using magic.
“As long as you stay a few feet near me you won't sink.”
Momo then turned around and started walking towards the monument. Miko quickly followed behind her.
They stopped when they reached the center of the lake.
“This is called the Dragon Stone Monument . In order to reach the Primus Branch you'll have pass through it.”
“How do you do that?”
“Like this.”
Momo placed her on the stone and it immediately lit up.
He could see strange markings appearing on it.
“[Name: Momo Dragna. Age:53. Class: Omitted by the request of the user. Body Measurements: Omitted by the request of the user.]”
Miko heard a female voice coming from the stone, saying what was written on the stone.
“[Identity confirmed. Welcome Back, Momo]”
Startled, Miko turned to Momo.
“What was that?”
“Hm? Oh, that was the gate-keeper and guardian beast of Primus Branch, Ušumgallu. We call her Gallu.”
“Wha?!”
Miko was shocked to hear that.
Ušumgallu was one of the eleven supreme monsters created by Tiamat when she fought against the rebel gods. It was nicknamed the Great Dragon. It was said be a Lion-Dragon-Demon with incredible strength being the oldest dragon second to Tiamat. (I'm not making this up. That's the actual physical description)
In other words, a Higher Being.
“How is it here?”
“One of our Elders is her Proxy. Because of that she's able to obey Her Holiness’ order and protect the Branch. The other four branches also have a similar guardian beast.”
If what she said was true, then it would incredibly hard to crush the Dragna Clan with such ancient monsters protecting it.
“Go on. Put your hand on the stone, otherwise you won't be granted a pass.”
Miko nodded and walked up to the stone and placed his palm on it.
“?!”
He immediately felt something like a weak static entering his body. He could feel every part of him being invade. Even his soul.

At the same time at the Summit Of The Gods, Tiamat who was sitting in her room smiled and placed a finger on her lips.
This was sent to Gallu whose consciousness was residing in the stone monument.
“M-Mama!.....I understand.”
Gallu then left the depths of Miko's soul and the stone lit up again.
It showed similar writings what it showed earlier.
“[Name: Gamiko Dragna. Age:8. Class: C. Body Measurements: 128cm tall, 27kg mass.]”
Miko looked at the stone and noticed something was different from Momo’s evaluation.
There were 5 categories under Class.
“Oh.”
Momo also saw it and started explaining it to him.
“When a person’s [Class] is shown on this stone, it will be broken down to show the level of each stats that makes up a [Class].”
Under Miko's [Class] it was as followed:
Magic Ability: B
Physical Ability: C
Martial Ability: B
Mental Ability: SS
Will Power: X
When Momo saw this her eyes sparkled.
“Talk about diversity. Your stats are all over the place. No wonder you can't advance a [Class].”
A grin appeared on her face.
“But I gotta say your stats are shocking, especially your mental abilities and will power. It isn't odd for people in [X Class] not have that level of will power. But here you are an eight year old with this level of will. Type of people who normally posses this level of will are either narcissists or people will a strong thirst for revenge.”
“[Welcome Master Gamiko. I hope you stay for a while and embrace your dragon nature.]”
Gallu spoke to Miko with a sincere voice, which made him wonder if she discovered his true identity.
“Well, anyway let's get going. We'll discuss your stats later.”
The moment she said that, a door appeared next to the monument. She pushed it open and stepped in.
Miko followed behind her.
When he step in his vision was disturbed by a blinding light.
“?!”
When he eyes adjusted he saw an unbelievable scenery. First of all, he was standing in the air. Maybe the reason he hadn't started to fall was because he was still at the entrance doorway.
He could see several mountains, valleys, and golden rivers. On the flat lands he could see several settlements like towns and villages. The sky was vast and was filled with floating islands and all kind of flying beasts.
The world before his eyes were so fantastical that he doubted his eyes as he stared at the endless horizon.
“Beautiful isn't it?”
Momo spoke to him with a proud smile on her face.
“This place was created by our Progenitor; Divine Conqueror, Augustus Dragna. He made five worlds for his five children whenever they were born. This five worlds now serve as the home of the five branches.”
‘A human made five worlds?!’
(…….)
Miko was so shocked that he didn't realize that Tiamat didn't make a smart remark like she always did in situations like this.
“We're already late, so I'll have to give you a tour later.”
Momo suddenly whistled and a beast flown towards them. It was a giant bird with colorful feathers. The feathers at the tail reminds one of a peacock.
Miko recognized this creature. He had seen illustrations of this majestic being when he visited China.
“A Fenghuang?!”
A fenghuang aka the Chinese Phoenix, was an immortal bird that was said signify the reign of a new emperor. It was also a part of the Chinese zodiac and believed to be the female partner of the Chinese dragon.

“Oh? You know it?”
Momo started petting the divine bird with a smile.
“Fenghuangs are the most loved animal for us Dragnas. We're naturally drawn to them, and they're naturally drawn to us.”
Even Miko couldn't help being drawn to this Chinese Phoenix. He found himself wanting to caress it like he would a long time pet.
“This one’s name is Huan, because she brings me such joy and satisfaction.”
Saying so, Momo saddled the bird.
“Get on.”
Miko looked at her and then quickly got on.
Momo gently stroked Huan side and she took off.
Miko was suddenly brought to higher heights, where he could clearly look at the world.
They flew near the floating islands, it was there Miko could see some large palaces that remained him of imperial china.
Miko looked at the people walking around on the yard. They were dressed modernly but there were some who wore modified Chinese clothing.
‘Could it this world was modeled off mythical ancient China?’
(……..)
Tiamat didn't answer, but Miko who was thinking to himself wasn't asking her in the first place.
It was then that Huan’s speed increased.
“Because your face would easily be recognized, we need to speed up and avoid the eyes of too many persons. Otherwise we could cause a scene.”
“Is that so?”
Miko guessed that his arrival at the Clan was probably not made public knowledge. Nero most likely wanted to meet in secret and determined whether or not he was worthy of entering the Clan.
They flew for nearly an hour before Miko could see an enormous palace. The yard space looked like it stretched over a hundred miles. In fact it looked like it took up half of the world.
“That's the home of the Primus Branch, Xia.”
When they reached near the walls, Huan descended and landed in the yard.
They got off and she flew off after being petted by Momo.
“Let's go.”
They then began walking towards the palace. On the way several persons bowed their heads as they passed.
Miko looked around and saw a lot of servants looking at them. Some had surprised on their faces while some had clear disdain.
It was hard to know who the disdain was aimed at, him or Momo. He decided to ignore them for the time being, and looked at the statues he was passing.
Their were a lot of statues of beasts and warriors all over the place. There were some made of stone, while others were made of gold.
“….?”
It was at that moment, that his eyes landed on a certain gold statue. It was a statue of a warrior riding a dragon and swinging his sword.
He stopped and stared at the statue. For some reason he was drawn to it. The longer he stared at it the more drawn he became.
It was then a scene flashed in his mind.
It was the scene of a man in a suit of black armor cutting through hundreds of enemies while riding a black dragon. The demonic helmet hid his face, but crimson eyes shone as he killed his enemies. He looked as terrifying as majestic. He was like a war-god rampaging through the world.
“Ajax….”
Miko spoke with a blank expression and a tear forming in his eye.
“Hey!”
His body flinched when he Momo shouted in his ear.
He looked at her with a confused look.
“Let's go. Gramps is waiting.”
She dragged Miko without waiting for his response.
Momo dragged Miko straight to the palace. When the guards saw Momo they immediately opened the door and bowed out of respect.
Momo acknowledged them with a nodded.
The instant Miko entered the palace he experienced a chill down his spine.
It wasn't like the temperature dropped, it was just his instincts indicating that there was danger up ahead.
The further he walked the more intense the chill became. He had to use all of his will to keep walking.
“Gramps and Uncle are in here.”
They stopped in front of a giant door.
“I'm back!”
Momo pushed opened the door and walked inside the room.
Miko was unable to move. That was because a chilling aura came from inside the room, that forced his body to halt.
‘W-What the hell is this feeling of dread?!’
He bit his lip and forced his body forward.
When he followed Momo into the room all of the tension left Miko's body. Instead confusion replaced it.
“Hahahahaha!”
That's because he walked in on a party.
There were hundreds of people drinking and laughing inside the extremely spacious room.
Miko scanned the room with all kinds of weird creatures.
He saw a woman with cat ears and tail doing a handstand on a unicorn while drinking.
There were people around her cheering.
He could see a cyclops arm wrestling a dwarf. The strangest thing the dwarf was winning.
He saw a sea float above with mermaids swimming about. One of the mermaids fell out of the sea and took a human form the moment she touched the ground. She then went up to elf who was playing chess with a man with a goat like lower body and horns. It was a Satyr.
“Checkmate.”
“Hah!”
The Satyr got mad and flipped the table. He then got up and stormed away. Maybe because he thought the goat feet were a pain, he changed to a full human form and walked away.
The elf high-fived the mermaid and they walked away from the table.
Everywhere he looked saw similar chaotic scenes.
“….Am I high?”
That was all he could say.
“Momo!”
It was then Miko heard a friendly voice. When he looked he saw a beautiful woman with blonde hair and gold eyes. Behind her were nine gold fluffy tails and a pair of fox ears on her head.
It was a Kitsune.
“Sherry, you were here too?”
Momo greeted the woman with a friendly smile.
“Nero invited me. Since I was free I said why not?”
“I see. But is that okay? Didn't Kimiko almost kill you a few years back?”
Sherry snorted.
“She was just mad because I prevented her from killing the Gryphon Princess a couple of centuries ago. That woman can sure hold a grudge. But I'm not afraid of her or those witches of Niflheim.”
Sherry then looked at Miko and narrowed her eyes.
“Nero? No, Nova?”
She then stooped down in front of him and stared at him.
“…..Hey, Momo. Which one of those morons changed their ages to hit on women who has a weak spot for kids again?”
Momo laughed and shook her head.
“No, this isn't Gramps or Uncle. This is my little cousin Gamiko Dragna the Third.”
Sherry widen her eyes when she heard that.
“Whose kid is he? You said he's your cousin so he can't be Sonia’s kid. Rihan, Gian, Gamion would've told me if they had a new kid. The twins are out of the question. Nova? Impossible. That only leaves…..Sasha!”
Sherry then look at Miko weirdly.
“Who was the brave soul who had the balls to defile Nero's youngest daughter. I want to give him a medal and pray that God have mercy on his soul.”
Miko watched as Sherry started say a Buddhist prayer. He founded her interesting so he tried to check her [Class].
“…?!”
Miko suddenly felt an agonizing pain in his head. It felt like his brain was being split with an ax.
He looked up at Sherry who was showing an alluring smile.
‘Does she have some kind of counter against people trying to read her [Class] without permission? Is something like that possible?!’
“Are you okay, Kiddo?”
Sherry asked.
“I-I'm fine. It's just a migraine.”
Momo laughed knowingly and then spoke to Sherry.
“By the way, where's Gramps and Uncle? They were the one who sent me.”
Sherry pointed to the floating sea above them.
“Nero is playing around with a few mermaids. As for Nova, I think he passed out somewhere.”
“I see, thanks. I know how to find them.”
Momo then stepped out and shouted.
“Isnt that the #1 assassin Kimiko Mors?! I can't believe she's here in person!”
*BOOM!*
The moment Momo shouted that, an explosive sound came from the floating sea, and right corner of the room simultaneously.
Miko watched as the hundreds of people were instantly blown away by two strong gust of winds. They then disappeared as if they were smoke.
The room then underwent a sudden change. All the party props disappeared along with the empty liquor bottles. The room was swept clean and was even sparkling.
Only thing remained was Miko, Momo, and Sherry. There were also two Thrones.
When Miko looked at the Thrones he saw two persons sitting there.
He felt like he was looking at himself ten years in the future.
They were young and had androgynous features identical to Miko's.
The one on the left had a purple ponytail and azure eyes. He had a burning star on his left cheek. He was wearing majestic Chinese robes with star designs on them.
He was Gamiko “Nova” Dragna. The Tyrant with the highest Proxy kill count of 78, and the Progenitor of Chaos.
The one on the right had the perfect mixture of azure and purple, azure eyes, and a small mole under his right eye. He was wearing similar robes as the one left, but his had a demonic dragon design on his.
He was the Gamiko “Nero” Dragna. The world's first [Tyrant] and the killer of Fate.
“Eh? Mother’s not here?”
Said Nova.
“Thank god. I still haven't gotten Sasha back.”
Nero relaxed when he said that.
He then looked down and notice Miko.
“Oh? You're here.”
He then smiled deviously.
“Welcome, Miko.”

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.

Midnight Origins: Arrival
On a lush planet known as Bhar, Verun is now the leading nation in the development of the rivaled schools of Magic and Science. Having brought forth an era of peace and prosperity for themselves through the development of Magitech, The High council was eager to spread their knowledge and beliefs to the furthest reaches of the continent, with the goal of ending senseless conflicts and prioritizing advancements in Magitech and improving the quality of life. This ambition, however, is not without opposition. Most followers side with one school or another, believing it is superior in nature. This conflict dates back to the very beginning of civilization itself, where it is believed by both sides that their gods descended from the heavens, bestowing upon them the knowledge that would bring the world into a new age. And though some took great interest in their differences, others would seek to convert each other through any means necessary. That being the case, The High council, leaders of Verun, had made the necessary preparations to handle threats and attempt diplomacy between the remaining opposers. Talented volunteers were hand chosen to be among the military, tasked with protecting the nation from both internal and external threats. And although non-biological creations have improved quality of life, they are not yet capable of replacing the military. The necessary research and development for such a thing was thought to be decades away, until Councilman Eranor encountered an anomaly in his facility…
