《Mythical Conquest》Arc 4: Blue Eyed Reaper

“Hah~! Hah~! Hah~!”
It was late in the night. Three men were running with all their might through the back alleys of Robber’s Den.
“Shit! Shit! Shit!”
The man who was at the lead repeatedly cursed as he ran. He turned to the men behind him.
“Cant one of you stop that monster?!”
“It's impossible, Boss! That thing isn't something we can go against!”
*Boom!*
The wall suddenly exploded and blew away the two men behind.
“Guah?!”
“Help!”
Their agonizing screams caused their boss feet to speed up. He ran like he never ran before.
“Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!”
*Boom!*
The walls in front of him suddenly exploded and a silhouette shot towards him.
“Sh-?!”
An arc of black light flashed and the man was sent flying. He suddenly found himself nailed to a wall. When he looked up he saw a jet black sword stabbing through his shoulder and lodged into the wall.
“Black tooth Kenny, I presume.”
A person then walked out of the alley and looked at the man.
He had azure hair and eyes, around 16 and dressed in full black.
“Y-You have the wrong guy! My name's Eddy!”
The man desperately shouted.
“Eddy. Kenny. What's the difference? All that matters is that you're a high profiled crime boss.”
The person said leisurely.
“I'm telling you, you have the wrong-?!”
*Bam!*
The man's head was squashed with an iron fist before he could finish his sentence.
“Shut up already.”
The person withdrew his bloody fist from Kenny’s splattered head and took out a piece of paper from his pocket.
There were several names on the list. Several of them were marked out with blood which was now dry. The blood belonged to the persons who bore those names.
The person folded back up the list and put it in their pocket.
“Over a dozen more to go.”
They stretched their limbs lazily and spoke.
“Looks like it's going to be a long night.”
The next day.
Luka who was at her base with the rest of Fate, was looking over some documents with a frown.
“Is this true?”
She asked Aya who was standing in front of her.
“Yes. My team and I made sure to confirm it several times before we brought it to you.”
This caused Luka to frown even more.
“Since your team’s information gathering skills are top-notch, I won't doubt your info. But….”
What Luka just read was hard to believe.
“Over a dozen crime organizations were crushed in a span of a week, half of which were well feared organizations.”
Luka didn't have the simplest idea of what was going on. The last time something like this happened was with Darius which was over a decade ago.
“It's common knowledge that Marco Saevio isn't tolerating outrageous acts like this. Which idiot would do something like this?”
Said Robin.
“The same idiot who started a war with us even though the odds were stacked against him.”
Luka said with a frown.
“I'd appreciate it if you didn't call me an idiot.”
A voice came from the door as it opened.
“Gamiko?!”
Robin and the others immediately entered battle stances. Only Luka remained seated and didn't seem that tense. Only a bit dissatisfied.
“How did you get in?”
“Didn't you see me? I came through the front door.”
“And the guards?”
“Napping.”
Miko walked in and took a seat like it was natural.

“What? No ones going to offer me a drink?”
Ana then placed a bottle with a cross-bones label in front of Miko. He didn't even need to smell it to know it was poison.
“Drink up.”
She said with a bright smile.
“Such horrible hospitality.”
Miko put on an expression as if he was wronged.
“Cut the farce. What did you come here for, Gamiko?”
Luka spoke with scorn.
“I can't come to visit?”
*Bam!*
A ball of ice hit Miko square in the forehead.
“Get to the point.”
Even then, the smile didn't left his face.
“I want a list of all the crime bosses in the capital.”
“Why are you targeting the crime bosses?”
“I want to become the new Darius.”
“Bullshit. There's no way that's your aim. You wouldn't do something like that without a good reason.”
“And that reason is?”
Miko asked with a confused expression.
This irritated Luka. This was the first time she was unable to read a person. She could tell from his heartbeat that he wasn't lying when he said he wanted to become the new Darius, but that confused her. Why would Miko waste his time doing something as stupid as trying to take over the crime world?
Even her uncle had his reasons for doing it. So what's Miko's reasons?
“Never mind. Father said that we should cooperate, so I'll help you out.”
She then signaled at Aya who gave Miko a flash drive.
“On there are the names of all crime bosses that rose up after my uncle’s death, as well as the ones who were under his wing.”
“Oh?”
Miko took the flash drive with an impressed expression.
“Were you planning on taking over what Darius left behind as his niece?”
“I've never met the guy. So even if he is my uncle and helped my parents escape, I have no special feelings towards him. If I did, I would've attacked you over a year ago.”
Luka only saw Darius as a rival in the crime world, nothing more nothing less.
“If you had attacked me a year ago, you would've probably won with ease.
Miko smiled.
“Too bad you missed the opportunity.”
“….Yeah. Too bad.”
Luka didn't look like she regret it as much as her tone indicated. After all, she didn't regret meeting Miko when she did.
“Well, you have what you want. Do you have any other business?”
“Nope. I'm on a tight schedule, so I should get going.”
He stood up and left the office without another word.
Robin and the others finally sighed in relief, while Luka remained frowning.
The moment Miko left Fate’s Headquarters static started coming off his feet. He moved forward and he suddenly disappeared with an incredible speed.
He shot through the Lower Class District like a bolt of lightning. This was called [Electric Skates].
*Creak*
While he was zig zagging through the district, creaking sounds came from Miko's body as he age instantly doubled.
The lightning from his feet immediately disappeared and a 16-year-old Miko stood on a building top.
(So who's the next target?)
“A Smuggling agency. After that I'll use the computer at home and print the list Luka gave me.”
(This is an interesting plan you have. But it's also dangerous. If you slip up you'll die.)
“I know.”
Miko walked to the edge of the roof and looked down. He could see a few men guarding an entrance. They were all armed and looked tough.

“This is a good opportunity to gauge this country's underworld strength.”
Saying so, he jumped off the building. He landed on a man and crushed him.
“Wha?!”
The surrounding men were all shocked by Miko's sudden appearance.
“It's the Blue-Eyed Reaper!”
“Thanks for announcing my arrival.”
Miko slammed his palm on the man's chest.
*Bam!*
The man blown away with a handprint in his chest.
Miko then drew a white sword from his waist. The sword flashed and all the men heads flew from their body. They all fell to the ground.
“As I thought, this is the age my body was at its peak.”
When Logan was 16 he had mastered several martial arts and was beginning to fuse them to create his own martial art.
So he can say with confidence that at age 16 he was at his deadliest.
After disposing of the men, Miko used his sword to cut the door into pieces.
*Boom!*
The moment he stepped in an explosion occurred.
“Fire!”
Dozens of men started firing the guns and long distance magic attacks into the dust cloud formed by the explosion.
The man who gave the order suddenly felt someone tap his shoulder.
He looked behind.
“Yo.”
*Boom!*
Miko blew him away with fist covered in fire.
He then turned around and spoke clearly.
“Give me your boss, and you all live. Resist and you all die. Think carefully.”
*Boom!*
The men immediately started attacking Miko.
“Fine. Then die.”
Miko immediately activated [Dragon Rage]. The aura formed two more heads and two more pair of arms. Swords made of lightning and fire formed in each hand.
“[Asura Embodiment:]!”
He rushed forward.
“[Bloody Trail]!”
The six arms swung their swords in a frenzy. Blood sprayed everywhere as the men were cut down by the dozen. The pathetic screams echoed out through the building as body parts flew all over the place.
It was a horrifying scene.
When Miko finally came to halt, there wasn't a single body that was whole. Every corpse was cut to pieces.
Asura Miko scanned the room and stood in place.
“[Bladed World]!”
All of the swords in Miko's hands suddenly tripled in size. He then started moving his arms so fast they blurred.
Arcs of light flashed all about. After nearly a minute, he stopped.
The Asura form disappeared as he deactivated [Dragon Rage].
He then turned around and headed out the exit. He stood outside and picked up a rock.
He threw it at the building with a little force.
*Boom!*
The moment the stone hit the building, it collapsed. If you took a closer look, the entire building was perfectly cut up. The stone only added the pressure it needed to fall apart.
“The boss was killed before the 5th round of slashes. But I wanted to make a bigger impression so I cut up the building as well.”
Miko then turned and left.
It was like this that he went around eliminating the people on the list Luka gave him.
It resulted in the crime world being thrown into chaos. Crime once again risen as people started fighting over newly freed territory. But this time Marco didn't intervene.
There was no need to. Before the guards were pushed into a corner, all the criminals suddenly calmed down.
The public soon knew the reason why.
There was a new king of the crime world, and he was only known as the Blue-Eyed Reaper.
“Why did you leave home for a month, and became a crime lord without saying a word to us?!
Sasha asked Miko, the moment he returned home for the first time after his battle with Luka.
Miko put on an innocent and confused expression.
“I have no idea what you're talking about?”
“Wha?!”
Sasha was so angry she nearly puke blood.
“Don't lie to me! The entire kingdom is talking about this Blue Eyed Reaper who took the crime world by storm! What the hell were you thinking?!”
“Calm down, Mother. I know what I'm doing. You'll see in the upcoming days.”
The next day, Miko paid Luka another visit.
“Thanks for the list.”
He threw the flash drive to Luka who caught it.
“You really went and did it. Dario won't take this lying down.”
“No need to worry about him. He won't act against me as long as I don't interfere with his plans.”
“In other words, even though you're a crime lord you'll only be one in name and won't take part in any criminal activities?”
Miko showed an impressed smile.
“That's right. You know me so well.”
“Hmph.”
Luka snorted in response.
“So are you going to tell me what you're planning now? I mean, we are technically allies.”
Miko shook his head. This caused Luka to frown. He then spoke with a smile.
“Don't be so upset. I'm giving you all of Robber’s Den and all the Lower Class District, after all.”
Luka was shocked to hear this.
“Why are you giving me your territories?”
“Even though I don’t need them, I still went through the trouble of acquiring them. I'll be upset if they go to waste. Since your mental abilities rivals mine, I believe it's best to leave them with you.”
He then stood up without waiting for Luka to respond.
“Think of it as a proof of friendship.”
After he left Fate, Miko walked down the streets of the Lower Class District and was heading towards the Commercial District.
Every minute or so he could hear someone mention “The Blue Eyed Reaper”.
It was just as Sasha had said, everyone was talking about this new crime lord who didn't lose to Darius in cruelty.
(Looks like you're a celebrity.)
Tiamat said with a chuckle.
“I guess so.”
Miko didn't really care for his new-found fame, but he need it all the same.
“Hm?”
It was at this time he spot something eye-catching.
There was a girl in a cute one piece dress walking in his direction. She had an umbrella over head, which blocked out her face.
Miko didn't know why, but he couldn't take his eyes off her.
He stared at the girl while continued walking. When they were about to pass each-
“?!”
Miko suddenly distanced himself nearly a hundred meters from her. The girl also stopped and looked in his direction.
Miko was on the roof, on all fours. His body was covered with cold sweat and he activated [Dragon Rage].
“Grrrr!”
The current Miko didn't act like a human. He was behaving like a cornered beast ready to risk it all.
When the girl saw this, she laughed in a cute manner.
“Impressive. You were able to gauge the level of danger in a second, and evade before I even acted.”
She moved her umbrella and showed face.
She was incredibly cute, had azure twin tails with black endings, and azure eyes.
She twirled her umbrella in her hand with a lovely smile.
“You sure used a unique way to get our attention. You didn't have to go through all the trouble, we were planning to come get you eventually you know.”
She lifted the umbrella over head.
“Well, whatever. Let me begin my assignment.”
She swung down the umbrella, and all the buildings in a mile radius suddenly exploded.
Miko jumped into the air and drew his swords.
But before he could swing them, the girl snapped her fingers and he appeared in front of her.
“?!”
She then swung the umbrella at the unexpected Miko.
He didn't know if it was because of adrenaline, but the umbrella moved slowly towards him.
The longer he stared at the umbrella, the more certain his death seemed.
Recognizing the danger, Miko's body moved on its own.
He slammed his fist into the incoming umbrella.
*Splat!*
His entire left arm, shoulder and apart of his chest splattered like a watermelon. However, he was able to alter the umbrella’s trajectory.
Miko then used his hand that was covered in iron scales and thrust towards the girl's neck.
“Oh?”
The girl didn't dodge. She allowed Miko's claw to struck her.
However-
*Shatter!*
For some reason, his arm shattered like glass and he immediately lost it.
But Miko still didn't stop.
He tried to sink his fangs into her.
It was this point the girl frown and stick out a finger.
The finger halted Miko's head, and he was unable to move a muscle.
“We don't know each other like that. So no kissing.”
She flicked her finger.
*Bam!*
Miko's head flung backwards as he bleed from every part of his face.
He fell lifelessly into the girl's embrace.
“You were reckless, but you passed.”
She lifted Miko like he was a broken toy.
She then rubbed her hand over his body, which miraculously healed and returned to normal in an instant.
Miko who was still conscious stared blankly at the girl.
“Who are you?”
She smiled and said-
“Momo Dragna. Your older cousin and guardian. Nice to meet you.”
It was like this that Miko made contact with the Dragna Clan, and met the woman who arguably played the most important role in his life other than Tiamat and Sasha.
