*Boom!*

Miko and Luka punched each other at the same time and finally separated, after nearly a half of hour of pounding each other.

The two of them have been fighting for over a hour, and there still wasn't any sign of deciding a winner.

“……..”

Miko slowly landed on the ground and look around. It was then he realized that Sasha and the others had arrived.

He smiled when he saw that everyone was alive. It was just as Hina and Ace guessed.

Miko didn't want anyone from Fate to die. After all, he’s trying obtain Fate not destroy it.

When Luka saw her comrades beaten up, she immediately knew they lost. She wanted to rush to their sides and see if they were alright, but she could feel Miko's predator like gaze on her body.

She knew that if she moved towards her friends, he’ll take advantage of that chance and crush her.

That's what she would've done anyway. So she decided to talk from where she was, while keeping her eye on him.

“Ana, are you guys okay?”

“Y-Yes. We all lost, but we're all alive. Although, Robin was caught.”

Luka glanced at Robin, who was hung over Leon’s shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

He didn't meet her gaze.

“Looks like the only undecided fight is our own.”

Miko spoke to Luka with a teasing tone.

“Seems so.”

Luka landed on the ground and rushed towards Miko.

Miko kicked off the ground and charged at her as well.

Miko activated [Armored Skin] and then covered his arms in flames.

Luka also activated [Armored Skin], but she covered her arms in ice.

They threw a punch at the same time.

*Boom*

The fire and the ice canceled each other out, and fog was created between them.

Miko threw another punch. Luka block it with her arm.

She pushed his arm away and slammed her fist in his chest.

Miko felt a freezing sensation attack his heart.

He also punched Luka in the chest. She stepped back and aimed a kick at his head.

Miko ducked under it, and shot his arm upwards to uppercut her.

Luka used her palm to block it midway. She then kneed the still stooping Miko. However, Miko used his free hand to punch her in the side of her leg, and causing her to fall backwards.

He then tried to chase her, but Luka used the momentum of falling, to perform a backflip. Her feet hit Miko under the chin, causing him to stumble backwards.

Luka chased after him the moment her feet touched the ground.

She created a dagger out of ice, and slash at Miko's neck.

Miko used [Ignition Step] to create distance between them.

Seeing that, Luka took a small jump upwards, froze the moisture in the air and created a thin layer of ice. She used that thin layer of ice as footing, and jump forward.

She created another layer of ice, she kicked off it like she was kicking off a wall, and change her trajectory towards Miko.

This was called [Frost Step].

Luka appeared in front of Miko before his feet touch the ground, and stabbed at him.

He twisted his body and countered with a kick. Luka lifted her arm to block it was blown away from him.

Miko then landed on his back, and rolled backwards to quickly get to his feet.

He then activated [Dragon Rage], and used his aura to form dozens of hands. He then made them rush towards Luka.

Luka twisted her body to dodge a few hands, and then began punching the hands away.

The speed of the hands then increased, so Luka increased the speed of her punches as well.

When she saw that she was going to be overwhelmed, she covered herself in black aura. The aura then changed into hands as well. Luka took a leap back, and used these hand to clash with the ones Miko created.

“That confirmed my suspicions. She's definitely stealing my techniques and customizing them to fit her fighting style.”

Through out the fight Luka has been using techniques similar to Miko's. At first he thought it was a coincidence, but after being copied time and time again he was certain.

Luka can quickly learn her opponents fighting style and make it her own.

“Is that even possible?”

(It is.)

Tiamat answered Miko in his head.

(Ouroboros’ Proxies are always like this. They possess an infinite amount of talent, which allows them to learn almost anything at godly pace. This is because Ouroboros is the representation of infinity. There's no limit for them. They'll continue to grow until they die. )

“If what you're saying is true, then why is Luka only at [C Class]?”

If they were really endless, then Luka shouldn't be this weak.

(Do you really think the other Higher Beings would allow something like a monster who gets stronger by the second? Ouroboros’ Proxies can't wield the full power of infinity. It's true that compared to everyone else, the rate at which they grow is extremely frightening; but even they suffer from bottlenecks. Otherwise it would be unfair to everyone else. The reason why that girl isn't at a higher [Class] is because the power of Ouroboros is being restrained by the laws of world.)

“Can the restraint be removed?”

(It cannot be removed, but it can be loosen.)

“How?”

(The stronger Ouroboros’ Proxy becomes, the more the restraint loosens. When they reach [XXX Class], the restraint will mostly lose its effect. It's for this reason that people hunt Ouroboros’ Proxies when they're immature, and kill them. Otherwise, they'll become true monsters in the future.)

“If that's true then how were Nero and Nova able to kill them?”

(That's how much a [Tyrant] defies common sense.)

The clash of hands between Miko and Luka had been going for several minutes now. With neither of them moved from where they stood.

“What did Nero and Nova do to beat Ouroboros’ Proxies?”

(It's simple.)

He could hear Tiamat giggling in his head.

(They just became bigger monsters than them.)

Hearing that, Miko couldn't help but to smile.

“You're right. That is simple.”

Miko suddenly rushed towards Luka, while commanding the aura hands to continue their attack.

“[Flame Sword]”

A sword made of fire appeared in his right hand. Luka created more hands and made them attack the charging Miko.

“Scram!”

He swung the sword and cut through four of them, he then swung it again and cut through several more. He then leaped forward and swung the sword until he made a path for himself to reach Luka.

Luka quickly changed the dagger in her hand to a ice sword. She then moved to meet Miko half way.

*Boom*

The swords of fire and ice clashed, and caused a burst of hot and cold air to spread out around them.

Miko swung the sword at Luka neck. She blocked with her own sword and then counter with a thrust towards Miko's heart.

Miko twisted his body to avoid it, and followed up with a stab at Luka's chest.

She leaped back, and made sword out aura rushed towards Miko.

Miko clashed with the sword and forced it back.

Luka in that time disappeared into her shadow and reappeared under Miko, trying to stab him in the back.

“[Lightning Blade]!”

But predicted her attack, and created a sword out of lightning to block it.

A hand made of aura then grabbed Luka by the neck and dragged her out the shadow.

She used the ice sword to quickly sever the hand.

At that time, Miko threw the lightning sword in her shoulder.

“Guah?!”

“Get over here!”

A strand of lightning connected the sword to Miko's hand. He dragged it and pull Luka towards him.

He then released his claws and slashed her across the chest.

Luka's blood sprayed in the air.

“Luka!”

This caused the members of Fate to panic.

Luka on the other hand, released her claws as well, and countered with a slash of her own.

Miko stepped back and slash the flame sword at her. A shield ice appeared and blocked it.

Luka kicked off the ground and sank her fangs in Miko's shoulder.

“Ugh?!”

Miko got rid of his swords and slash his claws over Luka's back.

She was forced to let go.

Miko then slammed his [Molten Fist] in her stomach.

*Bam!*

Luka was blown away. Miko immediately chased after her with [Ignition Step].

“[Devil’s Light]!”

He fired a laser at her.

“[Black Glutton]!”

A dark fog appeared in front her, and absorbed the laser.

The fog then spread and started devouring the surroundings.

Miko could hear crunching sounds coming from the fog as it swept over the surroundings.

“Is it eating the surroundings?!”

Miko immediately felt the impending danger from the fog, and decided to destroy it.

But he was so focused on the fog, that he didn't realized that he lost sight of Luka.

Luka launched out his shadow and slammed her palm on his chest.

“[Absolute Zero]!”

A deadly chill swept over Miko's body, and he was instantly frozen solid.

Luka then instantly made a giant ice hammer, and was about to use it to mash the frozen Miko into pieces, when a crack appeared on it.

Luka could feel Immense heat escaping from the crack, and leaped back.

“[Burn Out]!”

*Boom!*

Fire burst out of the ice statue, and spread throughout the area.

The flames even devoured the black fog Luka summoned.

Miko then shot out of the flames like a bullet, and popped up in front of Luka clasping his hands.

“[Electric Murder]!”

He quickly separated his hands and bolts of lightning fell on Luka.

“Haaaaaaa!”

She was hit directly and released an agonizing scream. But Miko wasn't done.

“[Flame Bazooka]!”

He slammed his palms on her chest, and released a blast of flames.

Luka was blown away with fire and lightning covering her body.

“D-Damn it!”

She made wings out of her aura, and stopped midair.

She then angrily lift both arms above her head.

“[Black Out]!”

The entire area immediately looked like it was night.

“What happened?!”

Hina asked frantically.

“Luka is getting serous.”

Remi replied.

Hina quickly looked back at Luka, and saw an ominous black orb floating above her head.

It doubled in size with every second that passed.

It wasn't long before it had a couple meters radius.

Miko sensed the danger and decided to attack as well.

He pushed both palms forward and created two giant balls of lightning and fire.

“[Electric Flame Cannon]!”

The fire and lightning shot towards Luka, aiming to devour her.

But it didn't hit her. As if they were drawn by a vacuum, the fire and lightning was sucked inside the orb over Luka's head.

“Wha?!”

This shock Gamiko and his group.

“It's useless. All attacks will be sucked by that orb.”

Robin spoke silently.

Luka glared at Gamiko and threw the giant black orb at him.

“[Black Devourer]!”

The orb shot towards Gamiko and exploded.

*BOOOM!*

A large crater was left formed where Miko stood, but there was no sign of him.

The night scene disappeared, and day returned.

Luka looked at the crater and frowned.

Miko actually dodged her attack at the last moment. But she didn't see where he went.

“[Fire Dragon…]!”

“?!”

Luka quickly looked up and saw Miko floating above her, with electric sparks coming from his feet.

She could see an incredible amount of flames gathering in front of his mouth. She immediately knew what was going happen next.

“[ROOOAAARRR]!”

A huge pillar of flames, shot out Gamiko's mouth and rushed towards Luka.

“[Ice Shield]!”

She didn't have to time to dodge, so she created a giant ice shield.

*BOOOOOM!*

Gamiko's roar caused a huge explosion of flames, and turned the surrounding area in a scene from hell.

Sasha and the other all had to retreat, in order to not get burn alive.

In the world of flames only Gamiko was seen floating. Luka disappeared into the flames.

“Luka!”

The members of Fate were pale faced. The roar Gamiko released had enough power to severely wound a [B Class] like them. Much less Luka who was caught off guard.

They searched the burning surroundings for her. It was then they saw a thick ice orb in the middle of the flames.

Luka emerged from the orb, and was soaked in cold sweat.

“I-I thought I was a goner. If I didn't used [Ice Glazier] at the last second, I would be dead.”

[Ice Glazier] was a technique that traps your opponent in an extremely thick mountain of ice. Luka used it on herself after her [Ice Shield] was instantly destroyed by Gamiko's flames.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when they saw Luka alive. Even Gamiko.

“Thank goodness. I thought I had accidentally killed her. This is the first time I've used [Fire Dragon’s Roar] after all.”

Luka heard his words and sent a glare at him. She was extremely close to being killed, and that made her very angry.

So she decided to use her strongest technique.

“[Black Ice Dragoon]!”
