Rinae emerged from her cocoon. Her evolutionary state was nowhere close to her previous but she no longer was in her adolescence. Her first sight was Amalia standing with her arms crossed. Her face was filled with hatred, In the room, countless amounts of people or rather, corpses were thrown haphazardly around, their throats were slit, a sign that they did not suffer during their final hours. Amalia turned away and spoke. “Come, I’ve fed you enough.”
Rinae’s face grimaced. The thought of being led around by quite literally food was infuriating, especially one she failed to kill.
Amalia turned back around. “Wear this.” She threw her a cloak. “Hide yourself, they’ll attack sight branding you as a demon.”
“The church?” Rinae asked.
“Yes, The church.”
Rinae’s anger subsided just for a moment, even if the one that got away was right in front of her she had a personal vendetta against the ones that fully destroyed her hive. They would pay dearly, just maybe she’ll even keep a few alive for the creation of a new batch of children.

Four survivors gathered together in the center of the house, one of them began kicking open the door but to no avail. Another stood with his back to the main stairs, Amra, mourning elf mothered had her arms crossed, standing adjacent to the door. The last was sitting on the stairs
“Gaelin, stop.” You’ve been trying to open that for hours. You’re beginning to give me a headache.”
The elf known as Gaelin ran his fingers through his black hair. “Braun, I don’t see you having a better plan to get out!?”
“I do, it’s called sit and wait for reinforcements,” Braun said leaning against the staircase.
“Yeah okay! I’ll just sit here while it gets darker while we get hunted down like animals.” He turned back and gave the door a hardy kick.

A third elf spoke up, the one standing next to Amra, “Braun, Gaelin has a point. This creature has been quite patient with us. It’s definitely intelligent, it knows we’re much stronger in a group.”
Gaelin added to the elf’s statement. “Maybe it left us and went for the town while we were stuck in here!”
As the last light fell within the house the elves used their natural born magic, a small orb flickered into existence from Braun’s hand, he gave it a light tap with his open palm, it graceful floated towards the ceiling of the house and stopped. He closed his fist making the ball shine a great deal more. Gaelin’s eyes opened up in surprise, “Amra! Duck!” He drew his gun and aimed.
Amra who could no longer cry any more tears was confused by the sudden order stood in shock.
“Damn it!” He fired a shot by her head.
Scarpha screeched at the attacker and retreated back into the darkness of the house. Not before causing minor harm, she took the elf mother for a ride on the walls and ceiling. Braun and the other elf began to open fire trying their best to lead the shot as to not hit one of their own. Amra screamed and pulled at the tail that was holding her hostage. One of the bullets ricocheted and broke the bindings keeping their comrade stuck to the ceiling.
Scarpha dropped the elf mother as she retreated to the upper floors, as she fell she hit her head causing her to lose consciousness.
“Gaelin, get Amra we’ll cover you.” The two elves get vigilance staring at the upper floors where the predator ran off to.
Gaelin nodded and checked her pulse. Even if the fall wasn’t that long, it was still enough to break a neck or something else that was important. Luckily she was still breathing. He grabbed onto her and pulled her closer. Towards the door for better protection.

He returned to the line aiming upstairs. Distorted yelling could be heard from the kitchen, garnering the attention of the gunmen. The two elves that died earlier came sprinting from the kitchen, they were both bleeding the black goop heavily. Gaelin was about to pull the trigger but became interrupted as Amra clung to his neck, biting hard enough to draw blood. He screamed but managed to flip her forward. The other two fired their shots, one did a glancing hit and made one stumble. The elf that was hanging from the ceiling also began to rise again.
“Shit,” Gaelin exclaimed wiping the blood from his neck, he’d need to be healed as soon as possible if he wanted to live.
“Move to one of the rooms upstairs!” yelled Braun.
Gaelin being the only one not to shoot, fired hitting one of them in the chest causing it to collapse. Braun and the other saw the opening they were just given and climbed the stairs.
Gaelin, however, was caught mid-step, Amra had a grip on his foot making him fall, he tried to fight but there were too many hands pulling at him, They flipped him over to face them, Amra being the most capable began to throw up the black goo into his face, it entered through any way possible, his eyes, his nose even his mouth. Once they were done they released him. His body began to seize and within seconds he was leaking the same black liquid they were. They went into the babies room and locked the door, barricading it with whatever they could.

Disciple.
I was there before Death was born. I was there when the Sea of Chaos formed. I was there when the first universe was born. I was there when life appeared for the first time. I was there at the dawn of time, and will be there for its twilight. Long story short I am old and powerful. I would be called an Eldritch Abomination by many among you. This however is not my story. This is the story of my favourite human, a man who managed to surpass my expectations until the day of his death. A man to whom I personally taught the deepest secrets of Creation. The story of my Disciple, born to a world within the Fayd. A man who was called many names. Godkiller, Guardian of the Gates of Death, My Left Hand, Destroyer, The End by his enemies. That Crazy Dude by his allies. I call him Sam-Sam, mainly to annoy him. But primarily, this is a story of a man doing his life right. With all my wisdom I can’t think of him living a better life than he did, given his circumstances. So gather round, for the story of my dear friend. Not a litrpg.
