《Parasites and Magic》Infiltration 4

Scarpha’s attack was blocked, her claws interlocked with the orc’s rigid blade. She wasn’t able to push him with much force as she was considerably thinner than both her siblings. Her muscle mass wasn’t as significant. She opted to drive her face closer to the orc instead of trying to overpower him.
She opened her mandibles to strike at his neck. Unfortunately, he capitalized on the situation and took the chance to headbutt her. An orc’s skull has been recorded as one of the most robust bones of the known creatures.
She was released from the blade as she was moved back. Blood trailed down from the orc’s forehead. He remained unaffected by the head injury. He used his forearm to clear the blood dripping in front of his vision. However, he wasn’t entirely unfazed. His blood was sent to a boil as his natural magic increased the amount of adrenaline being released. He returned to his usual combative stance.
Scarpha got low to the ground and roared. The fighting in the background ceased. Each one, infected and noninfected looked at each other. The noninfected orcs were anticipating an outcome that never came to them.
Five of the infected orcs approached the ritualistic orc from behind. Three of them broke away looking for just about anything that could be found as a weapon.
Scarpha stood once more. She readied her tail for a strike, it swayed to the sides.
She, however, didn’t move she was waiting. She wanted the perfect opportunity to attack, Venom attacks would be a waste if she missed every time.
The orc was surprised when he was hit on the side of the face. He turned to the side to see one of the infected there. He growled and received another punch this time from the other side.

The fist was thrown in a downward motion he was dropped to a knee. The first infected orc was preparing another throw. The downed orc swung his sword, cutting straight through the leg of the infected orc. The bloody mixture gushed from the wound. He stood back up facing the other infected. He roared swinging diagonally. The infected orc had little means of protection, even if it had any means of self-preservation it wouldn’t change anything, the blade completely severed his arm horizontally.
He raised the blade once more, he fully intended to finish the kill. But he was interrupted by the orc grabbing him behind. The infected orc pushed his arms underneath his and interlocked them behind his neck.
He was no longer able to use his sword, at least not efficiently. He struggled but couldn’t break free from the grasps of the puppet comrade.
Scarpha approached her tail held high. The fight would be done the moment that she inserted her tail inside him.
He spoke in the Orcish language, probably fictitious curses or he was just saying that he was going to rip her limb from limb and use her bones at toothpicks. Didn’t matter because she sent her tail out.
He squirmed to the side, dodging her tip by just a hair, the tail struck deep into the already infected orc, the extra dosage of venom started to send his bottom into shock, his mouth began to foam.
Free from the hold, the orc stepped to side in one swift movement he cut the tail in two. Black and neon blue blood sprayed out. Scarpha recoiled in pain. She hissed and shrieked every chance that she could.
He started to laugh, he brought his knee to her face. She was knocked on her back, her body squirmed and writhed.

A metal boot was pressed against her chest. Her reaction was to grab it. But the moment that she did he clicked his tongue, her attention was brought to the sword held to her throat. Scarpha immediately stopped.
The orc was monologuing, probably something to do with the victory he prevailed multiple fighting opponents at once, or he was denouncing her as a warrior, it didn’t really matter because an arrow was launched into his shoulder.
He also had to use his quick instincts to block an incoming sword. He moved the two swords together until it got hooked into the many crevices. In one swift flick, the infected orc was now disarmed. In the same motion, he also decapitated him.
He grabbed the shaft of the arrow and pulled, the wood had not fractured and came out in one piece.
He picked up the fallen sword, He picked it up from the blade and sent it in the direction of the archer orc, it hit directly into the chest. The orc fell with no resistance.
He managed to turn a good three quarters before Scarpha tackled him. She dug her claws deep into the entry wound of the arrow, his blood flooded from the hole. He free arm clutched onto her arm.
At this moment she cut his hand off at the wrist, with basically two non-functional arms he was at her mercy.
She opened her mandibles and tore his throat out.
She hissed in the victory. She stood over his corpse. Unfortunately, all of her minions lost their battles. She was now surrounded, it also looked like more orcs had joined the fray.
Like a slow moving wave, light could be seen rising behind her.
Both parties were hesitant to move for the remainder of the sunrise. In fact, a few of the orcs looked like they were scared. Shadows appeared from seemingly nowhere and joined Scarpha’s.
One by one the orcs started to drop their weapons and kneel. Confused Scarpha decided to turn around and look. Hera and Rinae alongside the entire hive were behind her.
What was even stranger was the statue that they had praised, the deity looked precisely like Rinae.
“Your day is over,” said Rinae.
