As the weeks went by I have been able to carry more at the same time move a little faster. Since my STR wasn't all that good, I knew that is what was lacking the most. Even then I didn’t forget to work on my speed at the mean time. From day to day my STR, AGI, DEX and Stamina continued to increase by 1-3 Stat points daily. As my strength increased and other stats it began to level up slower and slower.

Vzooooooom. PZZZZzzZzZZZzzzzZzZzZzzzzz……. Dimpakodu. …. BammmM.

As I woke up, I noticed that I was literally buried under a foot of dirt.

Caughh… caugh… caughh..

Well it seems it’s my wake up call.

Apparently since Vionia could not wake me up with just a brick to the face anymore she started to use new methods, such as using a simple catapult that she was able to devise.

However, Vionia’s wake up was also a new one. Since I was able to discover a large lake due south from the mine, I would take her and toss her just like a skipping stone across the lake to the middle of the lake. She would skip across around 100 meters before starting to drown thus making her wake up and swim like crazy.

Every 4 hours of sleep we would work for 5 hours and eat that time since we would run out of stamina quite fast.

According to the Architect/ Scholar/ Engineer NPC, we were ahead of schedule. After 1 months of work we moved enough brick that were to be used for the towers property wall, so going at this rate we would be able to take a day or two off.

The day we decided to take off was as normal as any, it was our own way of saying things are looking up.

That night when all of us were sleeping, at the very morning…

The buildings and even the ground was shaking like nothing ever before. We all ran outside and stood away from the building since they could collapse from the tremendous shaking.

The shaking continued without stop, many building have already collapsed in the area. To our surprise the Inn was actually acting as if it was rubber and shook like a jelly. Later, we came to learn a traveling wizard enchanted it, since they allowed him to stay for free.

In the midst of the shaking that lasted the entire day, Co. and I were all busy running around the entire village saving people from collapsing buildings.

!!! Running evolved into Phase Running!!!- This running skill can manipulate spiritual plane in order to avoid any detrimental effects of the physical world.

- With higher level may even use air as a stepping-stone when running. (Currently can make up to 3 steps in the air.)

By the time we finished rescuing everyone the shaking continued and we could not sleep that night, so we just all stayed together at the center garden plaza.

It even seemed like the morning itself came around pretty late. From what was around almost 10 o'clock it was still dark. 12 o’clock we finally understood what had happened. The sun at 12 o'clock was barely peeking through the sky from time to time. When it reveal the entire sky covered in ash.

As you could guess, my Stone Face skill had to go. I had to choose what seemed to be the best and rarest.

“Brick-to-the-face wakeup call is back. Nah I'll just continue to catapult you. I know I'll due both of them at the same time as I Catapult you.” said Vionia.

I did feel weaker but due to my inflated stats it didn't feel any discomforting.

So I decided to keep: Phase Running, Inertial Turning, and Respawn Point.

Fricks kept his Shadow Run, Transformation, and Inertial Turning.

“Vionia, what skills are you going to keep?” I asked.

“Show skills to Salim.” Vionia said.

Salim: AAAAAAaaaaaaa. Guess I can't keep running like that forever. Better work on it until I can.

Vionia: I’ll just have to get faster as well, so that I may catch up to your Phantom Run.

Darn Darn Darn.

We got back to work. This time villagers were rebuilding their dwellings while we still carried those bricks from the quarry. There were enough bricks left there to keep us busy for 1 or 2 years for sure. However, for the actual tower they were much bigger, it would be something like if stacking 5x3x7 small brick squares into a bigger square. The bigger bricks were much heavier; rather the 125 small bricks were quite light in comparison to what roughly 1 large stone brick was.

Vionia proved her usefulness in the fact that she took the two wagons that were pulled by Tio and Fricks and made one huge wagon. With the help of the blacksmith he fussed Mithril into the huge wagon to keep it from breaking apart. Wheels were made out of Titanium so that they would not break in case of a bump in the road.

With our reduced stats all four of us had to either push or pull the wagon that carried roughly 40 stones altogether. I was amazed how sturdy the wagon was thanks to the blacksmith and Vionia’s innovation.

Since before her innovation the wagons only carried 13 stones each, that often times would rollover due to sudden bumps.

As the week went by we were falling behind big time. At the current rate it seemed that when our stats recovered after 3 more weeks we would have to work non-stop until we caught up to what our quota was to be for this month.
