《Supreme Truth of Chaos》Chapter 101: Intel

This announcement shook his world, but what followed next brought his emotions to a whole different level. Coming out of his own thoughts, Night looked up to see that Lili had sat down on the floor and appeared to be cultivating.
'What the fuck?,' Night thought to himself with adrenaline still coursing through his veins, 'Why is she cultivating at a time like this? Is she okay? Could something have happened to the baby because of my reaction?"
Night's panic shifted into a different form as he reached out with his perception to see what was going on with Lili.
But then he was completely blindsided by what he saw. His perception didn't see a baby in Lili's belly.....if fact she didn't even have a bulging belly.....it was only a bunched up pillow shoved into her outfit.
Lili was not preganant.....she was faking it completely.
Night was actually thrilled for a split second as he realized that he wasn't having a kid with the crazy ass woman. But his moment of joy didn't last that long.....he started to get angry about being messed with in this manner.
While Night was collecting himself, Lili had opened her eyes and popped up of the floor to show off her smiling face.
"WOW! That was an excessive amount of terror and fear you gave me, my love," she said exuding her always seductive charm.
Night was still trying to absorb everything. What the fuck had just happened?
Lili continued, "Thanks to that I finally managed to break through the bottleneck in cultivating the Concept of Fear. I am now a Level 3 Demigod."
Becoming aware that he had been pranked solely because the woman wanted to feed off his fear...Night started to get irritated even more.
Then Lili's voice shifted to an aggressive sounding tone, "My father let it slip to me that you are actually a human...and well....you even confirmed it with your own words tonight.....I consider this payback for not telling me the truth."
Lili marched up to Night and gave him a big passionate kiss. His lips didn't move in response.
"What? Why are you so pissed off? You are the one who lied first.....I just returned your lie back at you. You should be thrilled to see me after being gone so long," Lili said with some aggressiveness in her voice.
'She went through all this just because I lied?....no way....that's just an excuse she's using to try to get away with it....but why is she still acting so angry...' Night was considering when he had an odd series of thoughts, '...Anger... don't tell me....this bitch is completely off her rocker'
"Lili, have you already started cultivating in the Concept of Hate after only just breaking through?," Night asked, "What the hell....couldn't you at least give me a few days of normal?"
Lili's expression blanked for a second before she began to speak in an apologetic tone, "I am so sorry. I couldn't help myself. "
She reached her over to the still paused Night and smacked his cheek lightly, "Now quit being a little bitch and get up in the bedroom. Although you don't swing a whole lot of meat, I haven't had any is so long."
Then, she reached out her other hand and actually smacked Night in the crotch. It wasn't a light hit and Night felt a pain run through his groin.
With a cracking sound of flesh on flesh, Lili flew across the room and hit the wall on the other side of the foyer.

"You want some fucking hate," Night screamed, "Fine, you can have some hate."
His face was red and he had veins popping out of his forehead. He was still catching his breath from probably the most intense yell he had ever had.
Night hadn't felt this angry in months...and it wasn't even a controlled anger...everything felt like it was starting to get away from him.
He could see Lili knocked out on the floor across the room...and that got his attention as his anger started to fade. He was a very angry person but he wouldn't be angry enough to hit a woman that hadn't really done anything.....He seemed to have lost control of himself for a moment.....but now he could feel his control returning.
"Ha ha ha ha ha," Night laughed as something dawned on him. He then thought to himself, 'She was even influencing my emotions to make me get angrier than usual ....just like she would influence me to get all sexed up when she was cultivating lust.... these fucking succubi are some weird ass creatures....I need to get the fuck out of here.'
"Hey, someone come out here and help out," he hollered out to get the attention of one of the house servants that had been standing in the next room.
A man and woman came out from a side room. Their bodies were trembling from the start, but it got worse when they saw Lili's body laid on the floor.
"Don't worry, she's alive. She started cultivating in the Concept of Anger and got the better of me with her influence," Night said to two servants. "Please see that she gets taken care of....I won't be staying here anymore."
Night just turned and left the house. He wasn't going to subject himself to Lili's craziness. He was tired of it.....and honestly if he stayed.....Night thought she might push him to a point that he would probably kill her....his anger wasn't something good to play around with.
On his way out of the Limim Clan, Night stopped off at the guard station to tell the men that he was going out and would be back to meet at the Countess' mansion sometime tomorrow. He was tired of dealing with these demons and their manipulation....
As he walked down the city streets, Night's previous thoughts on his future started to become more solidified.... all he wanted was to kill the Diego Family and escape away from everything....this other stuff...this drama...he was going to leave it all behind...

Night had a wonderful rest at one of the city's nicest inns. He felt refreshed. After he had slipped away the previous night, Night had used his skills to change his appearance, slip away undetected, and get a room in one of the nearby inns. He had paid ahead for a few weeks so this room was going to be his temporary room for a while.
Night had made the decision that he wasn't going back to Lili's house...he had decided that the relationship was over after last night's incident....but he was left with a dilemma. He couldn't officially end his relationship with Lili until he got what he needed out of the Limim Clan. After the war was over, it wouldn't matter.....but for now, he still wanted to have some sort of decent relationship with the Limim Clan.
Night left the inn after taking his time that morning. He didn't feel rushed so he had taken the time to have a nice breakfast at the inn before leaving back toward the Limim Clan. After traveling a few blocks from the inn, he ducked into a dark alleyway and shifted his appearance back to normal. He also grabbed a few sweet snacks from a street food vendor on the way...it was going to be a long day.

"I'm telling you. If I stay there, she will probably end up dead. I don't want to be responsible for that. She's the one that makes my anger bust free....you damn succubi and your emotion cultivation are at fault here....not me," Night said as he stood in front of Countess Asta and her mate.
He had been surprised that the first thing she had done when he arrived.....she dismissed the rest of the people from room to discuss his relationship with Lili. He figured that they would want to get right into the reconnaissance intel that he had to share.....but apparently, his relationship with Lili was important to the Countess.
"I guess you have a point. So what do you plan to do about it?," the Countess said.
"I am just going to hide away somewhere in the city so she can't find me. It won't be long before we begin the war and I leave anyway. Actually, my disappearance would probably even help Lili...she would be so pissed if I just completely abandoned her all of a sudden....she is already one of the most rapidly advancing Succubi in history.....why not let her anger build and help her?," Night said trying to sell his case.
The Countess spent a few minutes thinking thing over before saying, "Okay. I agree with what you say. You have my blessing in what you are doing."
"Oh.....thank you.....and I would recommend sending someone strong over the house to watch over Lili. I kind of worry about her servants...she can be a bit unbearable with her cultivation."
"Sure. We can have someone sent over to supervise her cultivation," Roth Dreamwalker said.
"Okay....everyone can come back in now to begin the discussion," the Countess said as she hit a round ball on her chair to make a noise that signaled everyone else that it was time to reenter the room.
Almost immediately, the group of military advisors and Limim Clan members piled into the room. Night pulled up a chair and sat down in front of the group. He knew that this was his show.
The main objective at his infiltration in Nazca City was to learn two things. The strength of the Diego Family Demigods and any information concern the poison used to attack the City of Southern Wind. According to the demons, the reason for Night's infiltration wasn't necessarily for future attacks on Nazca City....the demons had only wanted more information on the City of Southern Wind. They had figured that he would have a better chance at getting the information out of Nazca City then the currently heavily guarded City of Southern Wind.
"Over the last couple of months, I infiltrated Nazca City to get information for the upcoming fight in the City of Southern Wind," Night said as he pulled a few stacks of his written reports out of one of his storage rings and sat them down on the table in front of the group. He had actually prepared reports for himself to help remember information while spending time in Nazca City. Although he had written the reports, the demons wouldn't be able to read them...they were all written in English. So Night had to read each one out loud in order to get the information across to the demons.
"This is all the information that I have and I will go through it all with you today.....so you better be ready to take some notes," Night said as he started to narrate his visit to Nazca City.
Night started off by distributing copies of Nazca City maps and trade route maps.
Most people had some of the city layout information already, so Night was really just providing the missing pieces to stuff they already had. However, Night's information also included descriptions of the main players in the city including their home and business locations. This information would be very helpful to anyone trying to infiltrate the city.
The trade route map included a numbered index of Diego Family oases. Night went through descriptions of each oasis including their major industries, the branch families controlling each oasis and the approximate number of occupants. Night was very clear in pointing out the population of slaves in each of these oases since he had his own plans regarding the slaves. He also gave the demons some information concerning the lack of slave supply from Earth.
Night had been very thorough in his notes. The demons had pretty much come to the consensus that they would attack the City of Southern Wind to regain what was taken from them. However, the demon leadership seemed to be on the fence about how to handle Nazca City. Some wanted to prepare for an attack on the main human city if everything in the City of Southern Wind went well. Others just wanted to make sure the humans were contained in their current area of occupation.
So when Night presented his information....he wanted to give as much information as possible on Nazca City in hopes that the demon leadership would decide to attack Nazca City. Then the only variable would be if they achieved victory in the fight over the City of Southern Wind. He needed to make any effort in Nazca City seem as easy and profitable as possible.
After spending hours going over all of the information he gathered, Night decided it was time to get into the meat of the information that he had gathered.
"I have also found significant information concerning the strength of the Diego Family demigods and the poison that was used in the City of Southern Wind," Night said as he turned toward the Countess, "Anyone not in specific need of this information should leave the room at this point."
The Countess gave a few directions and soon about half of the room was cleared out.
"Now, since you seem to have something important to say...get on with it," Countess Asta said. She seemed to be a bit miffed that Night had given up so much detail on Nazca City. Given her experience, she most likely knew that he was trying to influence everyone's decisions on the matter.
"Okay. The Diego Family currently has five God level leaders," Night said causing the room to go into an uproar.
After a minute or so, the group started to calm down and waited for Night to continue.
"You all previously thought they only had 3 Gods, so I am sure this comes as a shock. Two Demigods recently promoted to the god level and that has been the general cause of most of the current issues. The two new Gods were a pair of brother that had been at the peak of Demigod for almost 50 years. As for what was considered a fateful event, the pair discovered some rare heavenly stone in their mining activities and used these to give them the push they needed to break through to Level 1 Gods. The only reason that I came across this information was that the newly promoted Gods had pushed aside many of the people they didn't get along with in the past," Night said.
"But thankfully for us, the pair's actions put them in conflict with the two strongest Gods in Nazca City. There can only be so many leaders in one city. So the two brothers and weakest of the other Gods decided to take over the City of Southern Wind as their own...it was all done against the wishes of the two other Gods in Nazca City, so there is currently conflict brewing between the two groups.....that's the basic history of the conflict. The City of Southern Wind is only guarded by three Level 1 Gods.....whose strength lies in the Truth of Earth, Truth of Fire and Truth of Saber....Nazca City only has two Gods currently guarding it.....but they are the oldest and strongest.....One Level 4 God in the Truth of Fire and One Level 3 god in the Truth of Earth...," Night said to a now quiet room.
The situation had given everyone something to think about. Night had felt very thankful as he recalled how he had gotten that information. A mercenary on a death squad after the Noche Bandits had been one of the people pushed aside by the advancement of the two brothers. He was very bitter over the whole incident and was forced to become a mercenary because he couldn't get a job in Nazca City any longer. Night had really felt lucky when he had gotten the information out of the man. Not only did he have information on the Diego Family Gods....he also had information on the attack against the City of Southern Wind too.
After a few minutes of silence, Roth Dreamwalker asked in a somewhat excited voice, "What about the poison?"

So What If I'm Trash? Who Needs Cultivation?!
Qing Shan Long. They say he isn't human. An escaped experiment from some government facility, a reincarnation of a saint, a freakish superhuman. Whatever he was one thing was clear. Be it Music, Martial Arts, Science, whatever he does he excels. He was a whimsical man. A great man. A man who craving for knowledge and excitement knows no bounds, whose collection of books and personal library would even make Alexander the Great green with envy. He donated to all manners of charities and funded many projects for helping the poor and disabled. A self made man who single handedly founded one of the largest corporations in the world, Wen Qu Technologies, whose influences reach from vast fields of expertise. From objects of war such as the newest aircrafts, droids, and body armor; to life saving medicine and vaccines; to even the mundane such as video games and the fast food industry. A legendary example of determination and hard work. He was in his car being driven to a business meeting to disclose a deal that would help ensure the country could have access to clean energy and help reduce the pollution that has been plaguing his homeland for the past millenia when he was assassinated and woke up in a strange new world. How will Qing Shan deal with his new environment where the strong suppresses the weak? From the top of the world he suddenly finds himself free falling to rock bottom. Unable to cultivate, a weak body, and all but disowned by his family. (For those who read comics and watch cartoons, imagine him as being Tony Stark, Richard Reeds, Jimmy Neutron, etc level of 'Genius'. ) My own spin on some familar tropes. Another reincarnation into another world story. The MC will take over the body of someone with a trash body that can't cultivate and will be hated and neglected by his family. Pretty typical so far right? Except there won't be some amazing miracle to heal our MC, there isn't some magical grandpa to teach him some OP thing which only his trash body can use, there isn't a hidden op bloodline, and he is not from a super amazing assassin clan or genius doctor. He isn't the chosen one, he's just a guy trying his best to make something with a crap situation. First attempt at a wuxia type story! I like playing with common tropes, maybe adding a twist, to playing it straight as a classic. I have absolutely no idea where this is going to take me but please do give your input and I'll do my best so that everyone has a say in where our journey will go. I'll admit the only knowledge I have of chinese history and ancient society is from reading light novels translated to english and some old dramas, so if I make some social passe just take it as because this is another world, not exactly an AU where magic and stuff actually exist. I'm also not actually Chinese and will basically using google to help me with names and other such, if I make a mistake please let me know! (Even if you don't like the story or couldn't bare to get past chapter 1 please leave a comment so I can find out where to improve, thank you!)
