Night knew that the Countess had seen through him completely. From the little that his soul perception could pick up, he could tell there were guards everywhere to prevent his escape. There was no way he could escape this....so he had to put his trust in Nox....and hope that whatever she did to the soul mark would work to protect his soul.

He felt mentally exhausted from the stress of the situation. When he arrived in the cultivation chamber, Night had laid Lili down on the bed and sat down in a chair off in the corner of the room.

As he contemplated his options, Night watched Lili lay on the large bed at the center.She really was a beautiful woman.

'It shouldn't be long until she finishes her break through,' Night thought before slumping down in the chair in thought.

'This situation is almost like a shotgun wedding back home....dad always warned me that women could get me in trouble,' Night said to himself with a chuckle when remembering his dad's lecture about sleeping with random women when he was in college.

The memory of his dad caused him to mentally drift off. Despite the complexity of the current situation, the Countess' question about his parents and upbringing had really uncovered some of Night's inner pains. Subconsciously, he had always set those memories to the back of his daily thoughts....and now that those pains were set free, he was having trouble locking his issues back away.

While Night was stuck in his troubled thoughts, Lili opened her eyes and looked around the room to see Night sitting in a chair off to the side.

"Hello, my Chosen," Lili said as she sat up in bed and looked over toward Night.

Night was fully involved with his own inner turmoil and didn't even hear her. He didn't even acknowledge her greeting at all.

Lili could clearly see the troubled look on his face as she looked across the room. She stood up at the side of the bed and walked over in front of Night. A closer look at him completely shocked her. Tears were running down Night's cheek from his remaining eye. The sight was startling for the woman. She reached out, touched his face, and asked, "What's wrong?"

Night stared up at her for a second before he spoke, "I am sorry, Lili. Your mother brought up some bad memories for me when she asked about my parents.....so I am trying to sort through it all in my head."

"Yes, I could see the sadness on your face when you answered her question," Lili said with some concern in her voice.

"....and we have only known each other for around three days. I know all of this is just the culture of your clan, but it completely contradicts everything I know about relationships. Where I am from....people don't typically jump into becoming lifetime mates without some sort of courtship beforehand. My mom and dad dated for years before they got married," Night said airing out his other issues. He felt trapped and needed to get a few things off his chest.

"Oh. I think understand," Lili said before moving to take a seat next to Night. She reached over and grabbed his hand.

"A lot of other clans have long courtships. However...We, Succubi, move fast once we decide on someone...it is just how we do things," Lili said while continuing, "Ancient succubi were originally abused because of their sexual nature and lack of strength. At some point, we changed....we gained the ability to make a bond with our mates. A bond that can't be broken and goes all the way into the soul. Since that time, we have been very focused on the strength of our mates. Mother had always said that I should select a mate that is strong enough to protect me....and that night when you saved me...I knew that you were right for me...so I made you my Chosen."

"I figured as much," Night said as his resolve to resist was deteriorating. He knew he couldn't fight what was happening.

He looked at Lili and made a decision. If he couldn't get out of this predicament, then he might as well handle it like a man. He was going to become this woman's Mate...he made his bed, so he would lie in it.

But based on his own morals, he still felt like he needed to air out some things first.

"I have a very strong soul and it is somewhat special. I can not promise that the final result our mating will be as you expect it...I honestly don't know what will happen," Night said. He couldn't bring himself to tell Lili about Nox, but he knew that he would feel intense guilt if he didn't give her some sort of warning.

"It's okay. My mother has already warned me about having a Mate with a strong soul. My father actually has a very strong soul and is on equal standing in the relationship with my mother," Lili said taking Night off guard.

"Oh really," Night said in surprise.

"Yes...so, I can deal with any outcome.....as long as I have you for support....I can even deal with your other woman if you would like to bring her here...having more than one Mate is acceptable to a lot of demons....just remember...you will be my only one to rely on," Lili said as she reached up and kissed Night.

Night was so startled that he forgot to breath.

"What other woman?," Night said puzzlement after catching his breath.

"You don't have to lie. I am okay with it. I do visit a lot of other men in their dreams after all. It's okay if you have another women every now and then. But, I will always be your mate and you will always protect me," Lili said with a very serious expression on her face.

"Honestly, I don't know what you are talking about. Can you explain?," Night said ignoring the appearance okay for him to sleep with other women. He still didn't know who this supposed other woman was.

"You know! The woman you were with the first night I met you. I can have a craftsman make some fake fangs if you like them

so much," Lili said with the same serious expression and a slight blush to her cheeks.

Realization blossomed in Nights brain and he burst out laughing.

"Ha ha ha...that's one of my sisters....not my lover," Night was absolutely rolling with laughter. He was going to have to tell Misery this one....she would die.

"Your sisters?," Lili said, "Why didn't you tell me you had sisters?"

"You never told me you had sisters either....hell, I didn't even know the Countess was your mom until today," Night rebuked.

"Oh...right...sorry," Lili said, "I have three sisters. Kali, Moon, and Hepte. I'll have to introduce you sometime."

"Well, I also have three sisters. Misery, Grief, and Distress. You have met Misery already and you can meet the others anytime," Night said with a chuckle.

"Okay," Lili responded. She seemed to be really nervous all of a sudden.

Night was also nervous....Seemed like it was time to get to business.

Lili stood up and led Night to the bed by his hand. When they got to the side of the bed, Lili began to unfasten Night's robes. Once he was standing there naked, she pushed him down on the bed and began disrobing herself. Night just watched as her sexy body was revealed to him. Neither of them said a word.

Laying on the bed, Night watched as Lili climbed up on the bed and straddled him. Slowly, Night felt a warmth envelop him as she settled down. With a dual moan, Night and Lili started their mating. It felt absolutely wonderful for both of them.

Then suddenly, Night felt a pull at his soul that went all the way down to his groin. It was like his soul was getting sucked out his dick. The feeling was both terrifying and exhilarating at the same time....then the pull seemed to hit a roadblock as it suddenly stopped. Night could feel the pull run in the opposite direction and Lili let out a gasp.

Night could feel a piece of Lili's soul break off and connect to his soul. A wisp of his soul also flew back down the same route to her....drawing a moan from both of them.

Although he was very into what was happening, he could tell the sensation was very similar to the way the Keres are linked to his soul. Night knew that he could exert almost full control over Lili if he needed to, but he could also just let her be her usual self. He had the power in the relationship...but only if he wanted it. He hadn't lost out any in the exchange.

Once the issue with his soul was clarified, Night mentally relaxed and began to enjoy himself. Sensing his mental change, Lili began to become more enthusiastic in her hip movements.The couple really started to let lose and eventually completed their mating. After the climax, Lili slumped off the top of him and snuggled up to his side. Night looked down at the woman laying next to him with a bit of emotion.

He didn't quite understand his feelings toward Lili....but he knew that he was now committed to her....and he needed to live up to this commitment....even though he felt somewhat forced into the whole relationship. Night has feelings toward Lili, but he can't quite define them. It wasn't necessarily love...or maybe it was just an obscure form of love.....he wasn't sure.

Lili looked over with a very happy smile, "That was wonderful....my Mate."

"Yes it was...my Mate," Night responded and returned her smile. There was no point bent sour about something already done.... especially when no harm came out of it.

After a few minutes of cuddling, the couple proceeded to go a few more rounds with each other...enjoying themselves in every second of it.

After a few hours alone in the room, the couple received a notice from the Countess congratulating them on their mating. The Countess was going to provide dinner then the cultivation chamber was going to be readied for use.

Lili is very, very excited over the whole thing. Night was a little disturbed that the Countess knew he nailed her daughter then congratulated him for it.

Regardless, both of them chowed down when the food was brought. The dinner was the highest quality with several food items that helped cultivation.

"So how does this cultivation chamber work?," Night asked, "Will they pipe in heavenly energy or something?"

"No, Silly. It is a succubus' cultivation chamber....the one that my mother uses. This room is surrounded by other rooms that each containing a sleeping man. The men should all be either Level 5 Demigods.....so I have a good chance to break through to a Demigod of Lust if I cultivate here through the night....the soul energy will be very abundant," Lili said excitedly.

For some reason, he felt a hint of jealousy knowing that she was going to visit men in their dreams tonight. But then he was hit with an interesting thought.

"So, the men don't resist when you enter their dreams?," Night asked with a grin.

"No, they give up all resistance. They wouldn’t be good Sources if they resisted," Lili said.

Night smiled devilishly, "How would you like to meet my sisters tonight?"

After a lengthy dinner discussion, Lili agreed to Night's plans. Then, the two finished up their food and went a few more rounds on the bed. Night had never felt so thankful for his Body of Recovery.

When it was late enough to sleep, Night entered his own soul space.

The three Keres were present and waiting for him.

"So did we leave successfully?," Misery asked.

"No," Night said , "I messed up." Then, he proceeded to tell the Keres the entire story.

After his explaining, they all began to talk.

"So we're not going to kill as many as we can and try to fight our way out of here?," Distress asked in her usual warrior fashion.

"No, Nox had said that she modified the soul mark, so I put my trust in her. There was no reason to die for something that might not even cause a problem," Night said, "...and it worked out just fine....technically, Lili and I are already mates so everything is good."

The three women looked at Night with wide opened eyes.

"So, I don't get to kill anyone?," Distress asked with disappointment on her face.

"I guess Karine is all mine now," Misery said with a giddy squeal.

"Okay, when do I get to meet your new wife?," Grief said questioningly.

"Uhhhhh.....No, no killing tonight.....if you can land Karine, then you can have her....and that's why I'm here. Lili wants to me you all.....and celebrate in a special way," Night said alternating responses between the women.

"Alright, don't run off until we have a chance to talk," Night said as he opened up his soul perception to the maximum.

Lili appeared floating in the soul view in front of the quartet of misfits. Seeing the group in front of her, Lili came forward and introduced herself to the Keres....they really like when she addressed them as sister-in-law. Once the introductions were done, Lili joined Night by his side.

"Lili's mother, Countess Asta, has given us the use of her cultivation chambers for the night. There are twelve Level 5 Demigods in the rooms around us now....with no defenses in place....waiting for someone to come into their dreams," Night said drawing immediate interest from the Keres.

"I won't be cultivating tonight, so you three can take my place. Feel free to drop in on the men after Lili has finished up with them. Give them a good time...but be sure not to kill any of them," Night finished up before phasing out of the soul space.

As Night was fading out of the soul space, he could see the four women chatting with each other. They seemed to be getting along well. It was like a belated bachelorette party.....it would be good for the women in his life to bond.

With his perception maintaining focus, tonight would be good training for Night too. He laid down in bed next to the unconscious Lili and couldn't keep a smile off his face.

He had told Lili that his sisters could cultivate in dreams too, but he didn't give any details about how they do so....she had left out enough key details that he felt like this one time would be okay for him to do the same...and after spending time with his Mate in their dreams....on what was essentially his wedding night...these random men we’re going to experience unimaginable pain and suffering thanks to the Keres.
