《Supreme Truth of Chaos》Chapter 82: Causing Trouble

About an hour later, Night found himself sitting in a holding cell with another restrictive collar around his neck. Although the collar didn't hurt his power at all, he was absolutely livid that he had been locked up for no good reason. However, he managed to keep his shit together during the whole incident. He was trying not to cause trouble, but the situation was getting a bit out of hand.
Apparently, his disguised red eye had alarmed a few of the people in the inn that morning.....so much that they reported him to the local guards. The guards had arrested him and taken some of his things. Luckily, he also hid his space ring with his Presence Concept or the guards would have taken that too. Despite his anger, he acknowledged that the guards had actually performed a pretty decent investigation....they had even tracked down a few of the caravan members that entered the city with him.
Night's odd behavior in the caravan, the red eye and his aura of death from his death concept....had set off all sorts of alarms with the guards prior to his arrest. They actually thought he is part of some mysterious clan from the eastern desert. Night had heard the name before. The Osir Clan was mentioned by the Ammon Clan Leader. The chief thought that Night might be involved with them too.
Basically, his concept of death gave off an aura similar to that clan....and it didn't help that they were known to have red eyes. Night had missed that detail and his entire look seemed to mimic a clan that he didn't know much about. The only reason that he had used his Presence Concept to disguise his fake eye with one with a red pupil....was because Misery said it would be cool. The whole misunderstanding seemed to be pure coincidence.
Sitting in his cell with a group of other collared demons, Night wasn't that concerned for his own safety. With his previous experience and his mastered concepts, he could easily walk out of this place if he wanted to. Especially since all of the guards had practically disappeared once Night was dropped off in a cell.
After a few minutes of sitting, Night could tell that the other prisoners were getting restless.
"Hey, trash of the Osir. I could earn a nice reward if the Kimaris Clan found out that I killed you," one of the other inmates said as he revealed a shank in his hand. The other 9 men in the cell also stood up and began to circle around Night.
"Oh.....so that's why the guards left. I wouldn't do anything if I was you," Night said with a chuckle. He knew they were still going to attack. As the man moved forward, Night immediately turned over his hand.....a green orb appeared in his hand and a blood stone rolled onto the ground.
Blood started to seep out of the blood stone and onto the floor. A womanly shape started to form from the blood.
"Sorry...don't say that I didn't warn you," Night said with a devilish smile as the men shrank back in terror.

He had actually unleashed Grief in the cell to deal with the prisoners that were going to attack him. The men had screamed and begged for mercy, but due to the green isolation gem....No one outside of the cell heard a single peep of noise.
After resolving the issue with his ten cell mates, Night had decided to do a complete reversal of his previous plans. His original plan was to lay low and search for Lili....but now he had decided to pursue a different option...cause a fuss and get her to come to him.
From a practical standpoint, this route would be a bit risky....but it would allow him to vent some of his frustration. He continued to feel that his escape abilities gave him the ability to flee if needed.
So he just sat in the cell for about twenty minutes to develop his plan....then all hell broke loose in the prison.
When the guards had shown up to check on the inmates, they freaked out over the absence of the other prisoners. Then, the guards went through an array of actions and seemed so confused.
The cell had originally had 11 men in it. Now, thirty minutes later....only one remained. There was not even a trace of the other 10 men in the cell. Night had also slightly changed his appearance. Now instead of a one red eye, both of his eyes appeared red.
The guards were frantic and eventually had to call in the prison warden to deal with the issue. They were almost certain that the other guys didn't escape. So that means that Night did something with them...without a trace.
Looking at the guards scrambling about, Night decided to add some direction.
"I would like to speak to your supervisor. I'm not going to cause trouble while I wait. It's okay," Night said from his seat in the cell.
The guards actually listened to him. After about an hour, an older looking demon with a pair of blue green eyes showed up in front of the prison cell.
Before he had any chance to speak, Night began to talk, "So, I guess that I am in the territory of the Raum Clan. Very nice to meet you. My name is Night."
"What is this prisoner doing in the cell alone?...without a collar?....Tell me what is going on," the man started yelling at one of the flustered guards.
Night listened as the guard explained to the warden everything from his arrest, to the people disappearing, to the color changing eyes, the disappearance of the collar and the request to speak with the person in charge.
The warden seemed to want to take action. He also seemed to be a bit stumped on what to do. He clearly understood that Night was more powerful than he could handle.
"I am here to speak with Countess Asta...just tell her that Lilith Dreamwalker said that I could request an audience with her," Night stated interrupting the warden’s thoughts.
The warden stopped in his tracks and actually started shaking. This situation could get out of hand quick....just who had his men arrested?

"Sir.....Sir...I can't....," the warden began stammering. He had never heard anyone speak of the countess so casually.
"Oh....I have no problem waiting here.....it is kind of peaceful.....and I won't cause trouble.....so just find someone who can get the word out that I am here.....actually.....can you transfer me to another cell?.....one with a lot of occupants?," Night said as he flashed a devilish grin.
He was really trying to play it up. He wanted to sound menacing and in control of the situation. He realized that this little prison was no different than small outpost for the larger city guard system. If the warden here thought the situation was out of his control, then he would have no choice but to find someone with more authority. This route should be a much quicker way for Night to find Lili in this big ass city.
The commotion in the prison started to settle down, but there were now four spear holding guards standing outside of Night's cell. Of course the warden didn't transfer him, but Night didn't let off. He really wanted them to be afraid of him. He had released his perception of both physical and soul at the same time....and sent the Keres in the soul space to kill some more of the prisoners in the jail. These didn't disappear like the last bunch....they just dropped dead.
After the guards realized that the other prisoners were dropping like flies, the warden had actually come to beg Night to stop. He had already put word into the higher ups with his clan and was waiting on a response.
About an hour after the warden had visited Night's cell to ask him to stop, he showed up walking behind two other men with the same blue green eyes. Night could tell at first glance that these two men were much stronger than the low level guards in this place. With a flex of his soul perception, he determined that one was a Level 3 Demigod and the other was actually a Level 4 Demigod. Seems like the Raum Clan had actually sent over a few important people.
"Who are you and what gives you the right to demand an audience with the Countess?," the stronger of the men demanded immediately.
"As I have said before...My name is Night. And I have the authority to make such a demand....what gives you the right to question my request? I have been more than polite this entire time...I wonder...if I put a collar on your neck and lock you in a cell, would you be as relaxed as I am?"
As if ignoring his response, the two Raum Clan demons started to ask questions related to Night's request. Night didn't feel like he needed to supply them any of the information they were requesting.... he really didn't get the politics behind their questions about the eastern desert....so he actually couldn't respond to most of the questions.
Realizing they weren't going to get any response at all. The younger of the two began to just throw out insults....which did get a response out of Night.
"Did your parents raise you incorrectly? Is this the standard of the Raum Clan? I have been sitting here peacefully despite your nonsense. You haven't even introduced yourself and you make these sorts of demands? Such poor manners. I am disappointed," Night criticized, "Maybe I should just leave and find the Countess myself."
He wouldn't normally be like this but he was in a very poor mood....and these entitled demons were only making it worse.
After he had criticized their behavior, the stronger Raum Demigod started to directly accuse him of being spy, "Son of the Osir Clan, were you sent to spy by the Incubus Clan of the eastern desert?... or are you here to spy for someone else?"
"Who said that I was from the Osir Clan? You people just like to make all sorts of assumptions. Lilith Dreamwalker and I are friends....she made me an offer to come to this city months ago....and she told me to seek out the Countess Asta if I had any issues. I just thought the red eyes were cool looking....but now that I think about it....your blue green eyes look much more dignified," Night said while using a little soul energy to change his eye color to blue green.
The two demons were not expecting his response...particularly with the shift in eye color.
"Go get Orthrus. He knows Lilith, so maybe he can help us figure this out," the stronger Raum said. The younger one took off out of the cell area.
The other Raum Demigod just sat down in a chair and stared at Night.
After waiting for a while, Night decided that his plan might not go as he wanted. He did not like being kept behind bars and these Raum demons were starting to get on his nerves. He had such pleasurable interactions with demons until today. The commoner demons were great people to be around....no different than most humans. These privileged Baron Clan demons were straight up assholes.
Just as he was about to bail on the prison all together. He felt a slight tingle on his soul. He could somehow tell that Lili was nearby. He reached out his soul perception and found a group of dignified women, including Lili, headed towards the prison.
Seeing them headed his way, Night knew that he had accomplished his goal.
At the same time, the man from the Raum Clan seemed to have enough. He had stood up and started pacing in front of the cell.
Catching the man off guard, Night said, "Don't worry....They are almost here".....then he shifted his entire appearance to the pitiful look that he had in the hospital in Manco Oasis.

One week later, her best friend brought her to another world(s). This is Alicia Bell's tale. 1st book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court is a fantasy story about the Otherworldly Court, an inter-dimensional (or world-hopping, you get the idea) organization made up of people of all ages, gender, and race from many parallel or different worlds. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo. Crossposted with Wattpad, WordPress, Sufficient Velocity, and Rainobu.
