"Are you as ready to get started as I am, Misery?," David said with a chuckle.

Based on the squeal of delight coming out of the woman's soul form...David grew uncertain....maybe she was actually a bit more excited than he was....

"Yes, Night. I am soooooo hungry," Misery said with a pleading look on her face.

"Don't worry, Misery. You will get your fill tonight. But you need to help me assess the prey first. We can't just take random people....and we need to leave a few alive but in bad shape mentally," David said with a happy face as he began to focus outward with his soul perception.

His soul perception rapidly expanded to encompass the entire oasis. David felt amazed as he looked out over the hundreds of dream orbs. Similar to the last time, he had the urge to go on a rampage and destroy all the orbs....but he restrained himself.

"Misery, go out and search through the orbs. Look for the worse of the bunch. Pick two after you have looked through at least a hundred. You can have those all to yourself," David said, "oh....unless they are a man named Harver or Helio...I need those two alive for now...and let me know if there is anything abnormal."

Misery didn't even respond. As soon as David gave her permission, she took off to begin her search through the orbs.

Since Misery was preoccupied, David decided that it was time to start his plan of causing chaos in this little oasis town. Previously, he had laid some groundwork related to one of the demigod's fears of demon attacks. Actually, he had removed the demigod's fear of a demon attack...but he had made all his advisors terrified of demon attacks. The person in power not acknowledging a possible threat....especially one of high concern to his advisors....would create a lot of anxiety in the top management of the town.

Building upon that groundwork, David decided that he wanted to attempt something that he hadn't done before. Actually, this method was inspired by the mangled sex slave that had been gifted to him for a night by the mine manager. She was in a physically awake state but part of her soul was trapped in the dream world. David wanted to do something similar to a few of his enemies. Trap their minds in a nightmare, then let their bodies wonder aimlessly in the real world.

David searched for a while before finding one of the more troublesome demigod's advisers. David observed the man's dream orb for a few minutes to develop his plan of attack. Like many of the advisers, this man had dreams about sexual exploits with women....and in this case, multiple women. David had a sudden idea and he immediately began manipulating the adviser's pleasurable dream.....

A slightly overweight man was stretched out on a bed as five beautiful women entered the room. These women were dressed in silken garments that only covered the most intimate places of their bodies. The man was very happy to see the women and sat up immediately to greet them. Each of the women moved over to the bed in a seductive manner. One by one, they removed their little silk garments and exposed their completely gorgeous nude bodies to the man. He was extremely excited to see the naked women as they moved onto the bed with him.

Once all five women were on the bed they began to rub their dainty hands over the man's body. The man was building up so much anticipation for what would happen next.

"Close your eyes, my love," an elegant woman's voice sounded in the bed room as one of the women climbed on top of the man and began straddling him.

"What ever you ask," the man agreed as he closed his eyes. As soon as his eyes shut, he could feel the women moving around his body....their hands exploring his flesh. Just as he was getting to the point that he was going to open his eyes and ravage every woman around him, he heard another voice.

"You can open your eyes now...MY FOOD!!," the seductive woman's voice whispered in his ears.

The man's eyes snapped open. The five women were transforming into demons before him. The change was not significant. The beautiful naked bodies of the women remained exposed, but their faces began to change. Their eyes began to turn a shade of green that reflected the light in the dimly lit room.....it appeared as if their eyes were glowing. Their previously smooth perfect teeth exposed by their smiles shifted into an array of pointy triangular shaped teeth. Their faces remained the same but their hair fell out to reveal bald heads that were studded with a pair of small protrusions that looked like the beginning of horns. The man was terrified at the shift in the women and struggled to get off of the bed. It was only then that he realized that he had been locked in place by restraints on his hands and feet.

"Demons.....Get away from me...let me go," the man screamed in terror trying to avoid the pain that was going to come his way.

The women started passionately kissing the man's naked body as he lay restrained to the bed. Each kiss would bring the man more anticipation of threat from the women around him.....then he began to feel slight pinches from the women's sharp teeth giving him an idea about their planned course of action.

"Get away from me you filthy Demon whores," the man yelled in an attempt drive the women away.

After the kisses of passion continued for a minutes time, all of a sudden all five women took a ruthless bite out of each of the man's appendages. He screamed and struggled to get a way from the pain of the five wounds. Just as suddenly as the pain came, the biting pressure receded and the soft touch of cool lips on his skin resumed. The man looked down his body to see the five women kissing his flesh.....and the five mouth size chunks of his body bleeding on the bed.

Those terrifying dainty mouths continued to place soft and sweet kisses on his flesh. The man screamed and groaned in anticipation of the next bite.

David stood back from the dream orb admiring his work. With a little effort, he had locked the man in this dream. Now, he just needed to figure out a way to let some of this man's terror come out into reality. David began to analyse the situation. The man's dreams were connected to his body via the invisible connections in the soul. David had first found these connections when he had separated Misery's soul from her body. He had also felt them when reviewing the slave woman's situation. Maybe...he could affect the connection for this man....not sever the connection....he would just fuck it up a bit.

David reached forward with his intent into the man's dream orb and began to pull. Almost immediately, David could feel the tension that bound the part of the man's soul to the dream world to the part of his soul left in his body. As David focused in on the bindings, he realized that these connections were like multiple strings that connected the portions of a soul together. With a bit of his experimental nature coming out, David reached forward with his mind and grabbed a few of those strings.....he focused his strength on a few of the threads....with a pop... some of the connections within the man's soul were severed. Letting his focus relax, David slowly appeared back in the soul space.

As soon as he reappeared in the soul space, he was startled by a woman floating in front of him.

This wasn't Misery.

"Ahhhh...," the woman screamed and backed away from David floating within the soul space.

Becoming a bit wary, David asked, "Who are you?"

After looking at David for a split second, the woman turned and fled off into the distance. Seeing the woman move off, David needed to find out what was going on.....any one that had seen him in this soul space would know something of his secrets.

"Misery, someone else in in the soul space with us. Help me capture her," David's voice resounded through his mind link with Misery.

"uhh...someone is here," Misery responded, "Oh.....I see her. Come quick, Night."

David was already moving at a rapid pace and could see both the woman and Misery squaring off with each other in the distance. By what David could see, the woman had no chance of escaping from Misery.

All of a sudden, David could feel that the woman was going to fade out of the soul space. Reaching out with his mind, David kept the woman from leaving the soul space. The action was very similar to the way he kept people from leaving dreams, but required some considerable effort from David's soul strength.

A look of terror washed over the woman's face when she realized that she could not leave this soul space.

Seeing the woman's look of terror, Misery smiled revealing her fangs which made the whole situation worse. Trying to correct any misunderstandings, David appeared next to the two women.

"I can not let you leave yet. I need to know who you are and your intentions," David said while staring at the woman.

Looking her over, David realized that she was quite attractive. Not attractive in the beautiful princess fashion.....more like the dominatrix seductress attractive. Shaking his head, he had felt a sexual need toward this woman just by looking at her. He needed to be careful.

Hearing David's request, the woman immediately kneeled and bowed her head. She then began to speak, "Apologies, My Lord. I did not know that this was your hunting ground. I have been here for some time but have never seen another of us present in the dream space."

David was taken aback for a second. She seemed to have mistaken him for someone else.

Not wanting to give away any of his background, David decided to play along for a while to see what sort of information he could trick out of this woman. She seemed to fear him, so that could be helpful.

"What is your name and why are you here?," David asked as simple question to see what sort of information it would yield.

"My lord, my name is Lili.....and this town is within my mistress's territory. She ordered me to visit towns in the territory...to gather information about the inhabitants," the woman said while still kneeling in front of David.

"Who is your mistress and why does she want you to get information on this town?," David asked.

The woman looked really hesitant.

Seeing her unwillingness, David said, "Don't worry, Lili.....I plan on killing almost everyone in this town....so I won't interfere with your mistress's plans....unless she is some saint trying to save these people."

At David's last sentence, the beautiful woman actually laughed. David thought it was a pleasant laugh and he smiled back at the woman.

"Oh.....if that's the case....my mistress is ....Countess Asta....she is the leader of the Succubus Tribe. Mistress asked me to research this place....for plans of a future battle. She is currently planning to remove this oasis town as part of a large battle that is being considered," the petite woman said.

"Oh, so we could be considered comrades in arms," David said with a smile, "maybe we should coordinate efforts."

"My lord, I can not speak for my mistress, so I can not agree," Lili said while keeping with the submissive behavior.

"I understand. If you have a way to let your mistress know of my willingness to help, then please inform her," David requested.

"Yes, lord. I can notify my mistress but it may take some time," Lili responded.

"Good. We are about to be finished with our night's work so do not let us disturb you. You will be able to find us here for the next week or so," David said indicating his desire to leave.

Just as he was about to leave, he heard a voice from behind him.

"Excuse me, Lord. How may I address you in my communications with my mistress?," Lili asked while still maintaining her kneeling position.

"Oh.....pardon my rudeness. This beautiful woman is my assistant Misery.....and you can call me Night," David said with a smile as the two vanished on the spot.
