I think it has been 2 years. Something around that.

A lot of have happened in my life which I will not get into but finally, I have returned to writing.

Back when my eternal hiatus started I had promised this story was not eternally forgotten nor dropped. I have had plans of how the story would go which had only developed in all this time.

However, it is not time for it yet. I have returned to writing with the complete reimagining of my biggest story, some of you may have read. Right now I don't have the writing capacity to run two stories at the same time. Instead I would like to focus at the one I have started and poured a lot into planning.

So, what does the future hold for God complex?

I would one day like to start a rewrite. Frankly, I think the ideas I had behind God Complex are good, but the execution early on is just not up to par of what I expect of myself. I have though about how I would change the prologue, adjust the early sequences. Move an encounter or foreshadowing from here to there. Lot of stuff. Moreover, if I kept writing as is it would not reach many people and honestly, raising follower count is a massive motivator for writing.

Perhaps it will be when I finish my new story. Perhaps I will once more feel like I should write a second story on the side I choose this one. Or maybe the day will not come. I have decided to not make promises about something that might be years or months in the future.

But trust me on one thing: I really want to finish God Complex as a story one day. I have not even scratched the surface of what I wanted this story to be about. Plot twist and critical scenes that have been living in my head for actual years, constantly making me wonder about their setup, about foreshadowing and execution. One day I really hope I can bring them to a page.
