Hello, we’ve reached the end of book one and I want to say thanks for reading so far. I hope you enjoyed it, and please do give me feedback so I know what I should incorporate into V2. For now, i’ll give you a little background into a few characters. While it does not reveal everything about them, it will show you some primary characters and how I got into creating them.

When creating Nick Wilson I wanted him to be a variety of things. Truly I did not know where to start the story off at as I could have done it anywhere but I decided that the start will be where everything begins. School. Nick is a young lad who does not show his emotions much. If he is feeling hurt, or feel some sort of rage he won’t show it or will it tell anyone about those feelings. He learned to bottle them up inside and deal with them himself.

Nick is able to be silly at times, or talk in a playful manner but he does not do it all the time. Most of the time he has a serious expression on his face making him hard to read. In the beginning, he started out as a smart ass, whose responses would seem rude to another party. Then he showed a small perverted side and various others. He is the type of person who would go far for those close to him and do anything to reach his goal.

You’ll see that in his life there are only a few people he will directly listen to no matter what. If they tell him to do this or do that, he’ll do it with few to no questions asked. Even if others tell him not to do it, he will still do it.

When making Matthew I wanted him to be this tough guy who had his own pride. But he did not turn out that way, he can go from being playful to a serious manner in a matter of seconds. He knows what he has to do, but sometimes his emotions get the better of him. He is a laid back guy who is super easy to chill with if you know him, but not someone who would hang around with anyone.

He has a strange relationship to Freya as they can go from friends to arguing to disliking each other, back to being friends again. They argue a lot, but neither one of them seem to really mind it. I thought of them as a younger brother and older sister or vice versa, always getting on each other's nerves but will still be there when needed.

Now onto Freya, she’s… complicated in way. She loves to tease others and has a temper, but sometimes she can be quite emotional. Sometimes I find it super easy to write things she says, other times I find it hard. She was never meant to be in the story for so long, but I feel she mixed right in. Although she is the only female in the group, she is like a tomboy. As Nick and Matthew’s status grows she starts to feel a little left out since her own status compared to theirs is not as high.

Watching those two fight really made her realize the distance between them and she wants to do something that could shorten it up
