《I am Urist》Day 13 - Part 1 - Blood Mage

Giving a yawn and a stretch Urist felt refreshed waking up this morning. Man does it feel good to wake up in a new bed and no one's smelly foot hitting my face. Only what’s on my chest?
Confused at the weight his eyes wandered to his side and dug into the ground and pulled out an oxygen crystal. Giving a few breaths to the crystal, the dim room became brighter allowing him to see who was laying on top of him. Flaming red and brown hair and cute pinchable cheeks who else could it be. Uria was holding onto him in a gentle hug, which made him confused.
The girl's dorm was finished so why was she sleeping with him? This warmth and softness were overloading his brain with her so close to him.
Before I do something unthinkable I need to get away.
Trying to move out of her embrace he became surprised at her power. It felt like he was a tree and a powerful bear was hugging him not intending to let him go no matter what. Giving a few more tries to get away he gave up defeated.
Guess I’ll just have to wake her up despite how I just wanna watch her sleeping face we still have things to do today. After all, tomorrow is the day when the event will descend upon us and we have to get ready for anything that comes our way.
Heart steeled one of his hands reached up and pinched Uria cheek. The pain awoke her from slumber as her eyes slowly fluttered open.
“Mu? Ah. Good Morning.”
“What are you doing here?!”
“Eh? It’s cause I couldn’t get to sleep dummy. Is there something wrong?”
“My heart isn’t ready!”
He blurted out crawling away from Uria, standing up putting his hand over his chest. When he did, he noticed that the wound didn’t ache anymore which surprised him. Taking the light stone closer to his wound he moved the bandage slightly and noticed that his wound thin scabbing.

Eyes wide he didn’t know Uroa’s medicine would be this effective, if he was in this condition then it would be fine to start learning how to fight. Uria also leaned over and saw the progress of his recovery making her happy. Then a sudden sadness filled her knowing that he would start to work his hardest in learning how to fight.
As usual, he got everyone up and ready for work and then went to the back with Unicy as back up to meet the new dwarfs. What he saw made him raise an eyebrow, there was a standoff between three of the dwarfs.
Weird shouldn’t they be in a daze? How are they arguing? Did something change? Just when I thought I’d pretty much figured out the summoning.
Shelving that thought for later he decided to get a gist of what was happening. After a bit, a conclusion was drawn that it was a verbal fight between two commoners and a dwarf in blood rad clothing that smelled of blood. The other dwarf was pretty much avoiding the group like the plague wishing to have nothing to do with them.
“Oh come on, it’s just a little bit pretty please?”
“No, we’re not giving you any of our blood. Get away from us you creep.”
“I don’t need much, just a little drop is all.”
Unicy was instantly put on guard, but Urist eyes widened with surprise focusing on the topic of blood. He walked right up to the dwarf that smelled of blood and asked the man with curiosity.
“Hello, my name is Urist, correct me if I’m wrong but are you a blood mage?”
The dwarf that smelled of blood turned to Urist with an eyebrow raised. Now that they were so close Urist could clearly see the features of the man standing in front of him. His eyes were a fierce brown contrasting his blood red hair and devilish facial features.

He wore a blood red robe that matched his hair and pale skin. If he didn’t know better Urist would have assumed this man was cosplaying as a vampire.
The cosplayer eyes widened at Urist’s remark before smiling, to which it made Urist’s skin crawl, this was indeed a strange man.
“That is indeed my occupation my good sir Urist, my name is Vlad I deal with the magic of blood. Alas, I lack the blood to perform my art which is I asked these good people if I could have a drop.”
Urist grabbed Vlad by the shoulders and looked at him with bloodshot eyes making Vlad a little weirded out.
“Do you know how to make magic Items?!”
Vlad wide eyes returned to its devilish appearance, “Ah. So that’s the reason your so intense. Why yes I do know the basics of creating magic equipment unless you have a Blacksmith and Rune Smith my hands are tied.”
“One second.”
“Eh?”
Urist went straight to the market and selected a Rune Smith paying 500 points up front and also grabbed a point generation design for 200 points. The dwarf and the design appeared in front of Urist with the dwarf bewildered wondering where he was.
This new dwarf had runic characters branded along his face and arms making him look quite fierce. His hair color was black and braided, his skin was tan making his green eyes stand out and shine. He wore loose-fitting leather clothing that resembling North American Indians that fit his style quite well.
“Where am I?”
“Welcome to the mountain home. My name is Urist and I am very sorry for selfishly summoning you here.”
“I see. So Morkia does not exist anymore. I guess it’s better this way… Tell me Urist what is it you require of me? Oh pardon me, I forgot to introduce myself. I am known as Ajan.”
“Ajan we need Magic Artifacts.”
Ajan turned his attention to Vlad, “This is the blood mage I assume? Then let’s go meet the smith we have much to discuss.”
“Alright, Unicy will lead you to Hot, but first you should activate your skills on the armament stone.”
The three dwarfs left with Vlad being confused at what was happening. This left Urist to settle the three other dwarfs that came.

Reasons to Stay
Immortality has a cost, it differs from person to person. Some regret seeing their loved ones die, some regret they themselves cannot die, some regret the boredom and some regret nothing. This man regrets not having a choice, so after millions of years of getting shot, beheaded, beaten, stabbed and stoned he escaped from the world by hiding in a bunker with his books. He had studied all forms of science, he had lived history and created art, he was content with being alone with his mind until one day a man with a monocle appears, and he learns the truth. Hi! This is my second novel and I just had this idea when I was trying to sleep and my mind was making me re-live all those goddamn nightmares you don't want when it's 1 am and dark as shit, so I thought of happy things like the fantasy genre and my inevitable death and i'm like why not?

A War Beyond Kings
Author: I made som mistakes early in the story that I will have to correct, but it will take some time. I have not abandoned this story, but I will be working on my computer and will not be active on royal road. "The elves start to leave their secure forest of Silvanwood for the first time in over two thousand years. Wizards are murdered in their own homes one by one to the dismay of the Jeidan Order of mages. The ancient ruins in Agnellia seem to have awoken after thousands of years of abandon. The flames of war are brewing, and the continent of Maëgor is about to witness a war like never seen before." Author’s note: This is a serious story, loosely inspired from many great works, which you will maybe be able to identify on your own. It is entirely original though. I’ll be working on this for hours every day, but that doesn’t necessarily means that there’ll be daily chapters. I don't own the rights to the cover image, and will immediatly take it down if the author requires so. Every chapter will be at least 2000 words. And congratulations to anyone who guesses on which language the chapter titles are written in.

A Man and His Greatsword
Michael Adkins is a unique 28-year-old man. Born with above average strength and emerald green eyes, he always wanted to live in a fantasy world. He was very much into fantasy light novels, manga, and anime, especially a certain one that involves a black armored man with a large greatsword. Michael always dreamed of going on an adventure in a fantasy world. On a whim, Michael is summoned by the god of Alorah, one of the fantasy worlds he had always read about! Alorah's God, Eden, gives Michael a choice of three bonuses and a custom class to take with him into Alorah. This is the start of Michael's fantasy adventures. P.S. This is my first novel, I'm writing this since there were little novels I've found with a main character that wields a greatsword. Don't expect anything good. There will be a lot of mistakes, so please help me with that! P.P.S The later chapters will (hopefully) be much less cringy than the early ones. Please give it a shot!

The Time I Became a War Golem
Oh hey! Welcome! It's a pleasure for me that you stumbled here and found this story. What? What exactly is this story? Oh you know, it's like those run-of-the-mill Isekai stories, the main character dies and then gets reborn to another world, fights all kinds of evils and stuff until they finally get a happily ever after. I am the Main Character in this story, your's truly Nigto Zed. In this story, you would follow my life (of course) in the World of Gaia, where I would be involved in fights of both Good and Evil and also the ones inbetweens. You would also read about some of the lives of the people that I meet here from their perspective so it's not all me. Oh well, enough with this. Again, I welcome you to the World of Gaia, wherein, Man and Demi-humans alike experience the two sides of Life, The White and Pure along with the Black and Stained. This is the story of both Suffering and Healing. Of both Successes and Failures. A world where Souls paves the way to Destiny, and where Relationships ensures Victory. This is the World of Gaia and this is also the Story of the Time I Became a War Golem. Enjoy!
