《Dex's Adventure Through The Elemental Nations (Completed)》Chapter 83 Epiloge

Dexter's POV;
“Hey Kura-chan, what do you think is this alien construct our 20th recon fleet found?”, I asked. Both Kura-chan and I were currently in a position of a fleet admiral. It's the latest job we decided to do.
Over the course of two thousand years, we have changed our appearance, name and position in our society a number of times. We did lead the world openly for at most fifty years, to stabilise the new nation. But then we stepped back and began to do things in the shadows. Every so often changing our age and name.
Our main goal was to increase the technology and society of the Elemental Nations. For that we began to start a few companies that would develop and have their main goal in bringing the world just a step closer to space faring.
Seals helped enormously. Artificial gravity was easily possible with the use of seals. The heat of engines was also sealed away without any problems. But we didn't quite manage to create engines that would bring us towards our destination, at least not as fast as we liked to.
We tried to use a gravity seal that pulls us forward while pushing us away from the backside. It didn't work, the first seal would have to be in front of the ship, while the second one put too much strain on the material. We would have to make an adjustable bubble of gravity, but that was not possible with seals, at least not in the form we needed. The area of effect a seal creates is not flexible enough.
Sure, space time manipulation was possible with seals, but not truly useable over distances that are as long as you find them in space flight. Teleporting a few hundred kilometres was no problem, a few million or billion was a completely different thing.
That changed with the discovery of the Newt element, five hundred years ago. A Charls Newt, a great scientist and physicist, discovered an element in a moon of one of our solar system planets. This element is able to increase or decrees gravity with the application of electricity.
A few years of development and we were able to produce our first star ship with an engine running on Newt. A speed increase that would propel us light years faster than what we were able to before was now possible.
This discovery was quickly followed by many more new devices and upgrades for our engines. It solved the problem we had with seals. The bubble was big enough to encompass the whole ship and still strong enough to propel us forward, while also being not too strenuous on the ship.

But the bigger our ship the more Newt we needed to power the engine, so we settled for smaller ships. It also went conform with our mindset of close combat and sneak attacks. Something that the humans of Eternal never outgrew. We still have show fights and tournaments.
A couple of hundred years of new discoveries and technological advance followed. We found a few inhabitable planets and made some other inhabitable. Some twenty years ago a scouting ship found an alien artefact, it had a strange design, like a tuning fork.
At first, we thought it was a weapon or docking station, but there were no signs of any alien race in the whole solar system and the only inhabitable planet in it had barely minor lifeforms. We ordered to study it, but it activated during our approach and a blue wave of energy propelled our scouting ship out of the system.
It came back a few hours later in the same way it was first sent away. This alien construct was a transportation device. We named it Railway, needless to say, that we used it.
But something was nagging me as if I was forgetting something. Which is hardly something new, I'm constantly forgetting things of my past. Remembering everything of over a dozen thousand years is hardly possible without the skill [Memorization].
But not everything that Kura-chan and I have done was about the progress of our world. We also experimented with Chakra and found a way to merge back together. It increased Kura-chan's Chakra by leaps and bounds while saving her from becoming crazy.
The problem was her having both parts of Chakra at the same time, so we split her up again. She now contains the Ying half of herself and me, while I have the Yang half. It had the downside that I was no longer able to use Ying-Yang-Release, but both of us were stronger in other aspects. Her in pure destruction and I in healing.
Not that it mattered much, we just wanted to be able to have mind sex again, it's a lot more pleasurable.
Anyway, we were now in transit to this new alien construct. The report says that it is a big space station. Roughly 30 kilometres long. Nothing truly gigantic, we still use seals for none space flight and the capacity of building big was still possible with seals.
But it was nonetheless interesting and might bring some new tech.
“I don't know. I hope it isn't populated or hostile, a war now would be counter productive”, answered Kura-chan my question. She must've been busy reading the report again, otherwise, she would not have taken so long to answer.

“Yeah, we just finished our last one”, I agreed. War was needed to speed things up a little. Of course, too much was bad, but a small war here and there will always bring advance.
“Ma'am, we will reach our destination in a minute”, informed me my navigation officer through the speakers.
“Understood”, answered Kura-chan. Oh yes, by the way. Both Kura-chan and I are currently female. Somewhat around 50 in appearance. Changing one's gender with each new personality was quickly becoming something of a tradition.
It also helped in decreasing my avoidance of males. It's surprising how your perspective can change if you love someone. I'm strangely no longer against the prospect of sleeping with a male Kura-chan. I still prefer her as a woman, but I can live with her being male for a few dozen years.
Yet, we never were both males, that was still something that I did not find attractive. Homosexuality is nothing strange in Eternal. We made sure of that, but still, I don't like it to sleep with a man while being one.
However, the many years of sex did not minder Kura-chan's lust. If possible it even increased. That was still partly animal about her. She is able to hold long conversations and even hide her arrogance, somewhat, but she is also often demanding and looks down on others. Not that I mind, she is superior to them.
But she calmed down a lot, no longer rips her opponents apart, but uses technique and skill in a fight. Not always, but sometimes. I still love her and we both know, through our shared mind whenever we had mind sex, that we never had something with someone else. Normal people are just so lacking and uninteresting.
“Well, let's go and see what this construct looks like”, she suddenly said and I followed her out of our cabin.
We reached the bridge just in time to see the end of our transition. The stars shot back into view with a flower like construction a few thousand kilometre in front of us.
“There are no signs of any unknown fleet Admirals Cilest”, reported an officer to us.
“Ping the 20th recon fleet”, ordered Kura-chan. A moment later the face of a middle aged man came up on a screen. He saluted to both of us, which we returned lazily.
“Admirals Celest, it is an honour to have you leading this mission”, he said in greeting.
“It's nice to be here Captain Franklin, what can you tell us about the construct?”, I asked with a friendly smile.
“Right away Ma'am. The construct is made out of the same material as the Railway constructs and must have been a space colony. There are clear signs of houses and market places. There is an insectoid race on board that seems to keep the station functioning, but otherwise we haven't found anything that would tell us more”, he began to summarise.
“Nothing that would tell us something about the creators or former owner?”, asked Kura-chan.
“No Ma'am. There are computer devices, but we weren't able to decipher them so far”, he answered.
“Ok, I'll expect a full report later this day. For now, we're going to dock on and help in investigation.”, I then said. The Captain saluted once more and sent our navigation officer docking coordinates.
Two hours later we were inside a high tower of the space station and I couldn't shake off that I have seen this somewhere, long ago. Maybe in my first life?
“We should go through the memories of my first life again, they are not very long, but I can't stop thinking that I should know something”, I told Kura-chan. She just nodded and smiled. Viewing my memories was done with a merge of us, which means mind sex afterwards.
Great, I now know what it was that I have forgotten. It seems like the Naruto universe is sharing its place with the Mass Effect one. But there are no Humans or Asari or other races on the citadel. Does that mean that we are before their time? How long do we have until the next harvest? Is there something that we can do to stop them? Do we want to stop them?
Whatever it will be, it promises to be interesting. Sadly we are already somewhat in the same trap the Reaper created for every other harvested race. Newt was just too convenient to not use and our engines are running on it. We could make bigger ships, but those would not be able to leave a system. And do we really want to win against the Reaper? Couldn't there be a way for Kura-chan and me to play a part of the true story?
Yes, let us not warn the government and see what happens. Fighting a war that we are bound to lose might be interesting in itself. And it's not like much can happen to the universe. The Reaper will be stopped in some way by Shepard.
“This definitely will be interesting Kura-chan”, I said with a grin and caressed the hair of her head. She mewled some agreement and cuddled closer to me. As long as I have her everything will be good.

Will he perish in this new world? Or will he thrive? Except for the first 4 chapters, Book 1 has been moved to Amazon Kindle Unlimited. Except for the first 4 chapters, Book 2 has been moved to Amazon Kindle Unlimited. If you do not have the financial means to purchase the books, then you may DM me on discord through my discord channel for a pdf version of the book. There is only one main protagonist, but the story does have more than one perspective that it is told from. It's mostly first person from the main protagonist and third person perspective for the livestreams. The beginning of the story has also been massively rewritten since most of the reviews as of 1/23/2022. The release schedule right now is dependent on my college classes and coursework, but I always try to keep it to at least one chapter every other day, if not one chapter every day. I do not write sexual content or harem stuff. I am also not very interested in writing romance, so if you think you might see some romance, then you are probably wrong unless it's only a slight hint at romance or a slow romance very far into the story. Lastly, know that I don't like long-winding antagonists that get on everyone's nerves and last throughout the entire story. And I do like plot twists, so if you are predicting something that you think is going to happen later on that you dislike, (particularly around the middle to end of book two) then it likely won't happen.
