《Dex's Adventure Through The Elemental Nations (Completed)》Chapter 59

Dexter's POV;
The next night I got ready to take Anko out of Konoha. The plan was simple, really. I would use a Hiraishin mark inside Konoha and then follow her Chakra signature. There isn't a single Jonin in Konoha which Chakra signature I didn't know. Even the ROOT Ninja were all known to me.
Anyway, I prepared to go in and then out the next moment. This was a stealth mission, so no guns blazing.
I don't want to sneak in like Itachi did, I'm even only able to do that thanks to Yuugao. They will change their codes and save passages the moment they notice that someone came inside through them. I hope to have this option for more important things than saving Anko.
It was way easier for me to simply manipulate their seal barrier. The whole thing was created by the Uzumaki anyway, so there is no way that we don't know how to create a backdoor.
For this mission, I decided to take out my old Reaper Dexter clothes. The high hood in combination with the skull mask was hiding my head perfectly. [http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4128/asovzbcl_jpg.htm don't own the picture]
With my preparation finished I activated the Hiraishin and found myself just outside the barrier.
My Rinnegan allowed me to see Chakra and the large dome that was spanning over all of Konoha. It's seals showed me exactly where I could find the anchor points.
I masked my Chakra and put a chameleon Jutsu over me before sneaking towards the nearest seal anchor. It was a small guard house, hidden behind a fairly strong Genjutsu. Fairly strong for anyone without a Byakugan, Sharingan or the Rinnegan.
Two guards were guarding the only entrance. Another one was hidden in the ground, with two more inside nearby trees. There were also three more signatures inside the house. Those three were beneath the floor, probably a small hidden bunker. Each guard was a Chunin if it came down to Chakra capacity.
Thanks to Yuugao I knew when their shift will end, which will be in a couple of hours. Enough time for me to get inside.
A silent shadow clone Jutsu made two clones who sneaked around the house. Once on the other side they got behind the hidden Ninjas inside the trees and killed them silently.
The question now was how to get the other three out of the game. The moment I step on the grass the one in the ground will notice my presence, while the other two will act like normal guards.
So not touching the ground was the obvious choice. I did this by throwing Chakra threads all round them and then walking on them towards the hidden Ninja.
The chameleon Jutsu was still in place, so they weren't able to spot me when I pulled a short sword. The sword was in one of my hands, while the other hand manipulated almost invisible wires. These wires sneaked around the neck of each guard and hung there loosely.
I then jumped down and pierced the earth with the wind Chakra enhanced sword, while simultaneously pulling sharply on the also wind enhanced wire. The sword got an elongated Chakra blade that first pierced the ground and then the skull of the hidden Ninja. He was dead the moment I silently touched the floor as were his two teammates. The thin and razor sharp wire cut through skin, flesh, and bone like a hot knife through butter. Their heads fell down and both necks splashed some blood upwards, before also falling down.
Now without anyone who could see me I activated my special Henge and changed into one of the guards. In the meantime, the two clones had put the corpses out of view and cleaned the blood away from the door.

I dismissed both of them and then opened the door. The inside was decorated like a normal resting point. A table with four chairs and a barely furnished room. Nothing looked out of the norm and it was impossible to see the hidden entrance.
Again, Yuugao was the reason for my knowledge. She had guard duty a few times in her career and knew the position of the hidden button that would open a trapdoor. It was a lamp on the table, you had to turn it on and off twice. This would open a hidden staircase downwards.
I did so and the floor to my left parted, revealing the hidden entrance. I walked down without a care in the world and reached an open room with a stone and the remaining three guards. They spotted me but visibly relaxed once they saw who I was.
“Did something happen?”, asked one of them. I said nothing and choose to attack instantly. Two lightning enhanced Kunai shot out of my hand, each killing a guard. The remaining one looked at me in shock, before letting out a silent scream when I pierced his throat with another Kunai. He died moments later and I turned towards the seal anchor.
The stone was one of sixteen seal anchors that powered the whole array. A few small changes later and it no longer detected people with Uzumaki blood. While I did that my two clones had made another six clones. Each henged into one of the guards and took position, in case I run out of time or there was a change in their guard shifts.
I left the guard house thirty minutes later as a small girl with black hair and a common face. Children are less likely to get questioned, at least inside the normal town parts.
I put a traveling family under a Genjutsu and made them bring me inside the village, acting as their daughter. Once inside I left my 'family' and searched for Anko's Chakra signature. It was clearly suppressed and I barely felt it. They must've put Chakra suppressors on her and I'm sure that I wouldn't have found her without the absurdity that is an LV 10 skill.
Yuugao's skill in Chakra sensing might only scratch LV 3, Ao is around 5 with Karin, the best sensor in Uzu, as an LV 7. Normal emotions are felt at LV 4 and onwards, while things like the Chakra of Kura-chan can be felt by anyone.
She was underground, maybe even in ROOT's headquarters, a place I had no idea how to reach. So I searched for nearby ROOT Ninja, their emotionless Chakra made it easy to spot them. Konoha had maybe 75 of them. One of those drones was only a street away. I sneaked up on him, an expressionless and not noteworthy guy, and sucked his soul out of him. The memories I got from him were as easy to sort through as if I was doing the same to one of my shadow clones. It felt like watching a film.
Through him, I learned the locations of several entrance points. The one I was looking for was directly under the Hokage monument, hidden behind a seal in a hollowed out tree. My way towards the Hokage monument showed me that the people of Konoha liked Danzo a lot. His face was in construction and most of the damage done in the invasion was repaired. The people demanded retribution from Suna for their attack. Some rumors were floating around that Sound only attacked because it was forced by the stronger village and that they asked for forgiveness, that they even might be future allies and that Orochimaru wasn't the bad guy. Some puppeteer Jutsu from Suna was controlling him and all such nonsense.

Well, it was already clear that the people of Konoha were not the brightest in the elemental nation. I mean they believed that a child was the reincarnation of the Kyuubi.
°Stupid villagers, how can they so easily agree that Orochimaru wasn't the bad guy?°.
°People believe what their higher ups tell them. Uzu would do the same if you tell them that we have to go to war. They are practically worshipping you. The same is for most other Kage. A Kage is the highest person in a country, what they say is law°, replied Kura-chan.
°I know, it's just that Orochimaru was the bad guy way before the invasion started°, I countered.
°Yes and? Almost everything was secret. Danzo might even tell them that everything was only a mission. That his defection was a ploy for building a new allied village without the other main villages taking notice.
Suna got wind of it and used him and his village against Konoha with their puppeteer Jutsu. It's as easy as that and most will believe it°. What she said was possible, but not true, Sarutobi's diary had nothing about Orochimaru's defection that even hinted at such a thing.
Orochimaru was only a scientist that didn't want to have any boundaries, so he defected and made his own village. It's as easy as that. Oh and he hated Minato for taking his place as the fourth Hokage.
°Hmm, you think we should place this rumor in the heads of some of them?°, I asked. It would certainly strengthen Danzo's position and increase his chances against the other nations.
°I don't know, sure it will do what you think it would. However, there is always the possibility that his first target will be Uzu°. Her reply held some truth, it was always possible for him to first attack Uzu. That was why we have an alliance with Kumo, Danzo will think twice before he attacks a village full of seal masters aided by one of the strongest villages in the world.
It's more likely that he will first attack Suna or even the smaller villages. Takigakure maybe, they have the seven tailed Bijuu and Danzo always wanted his Jinchuriki weapon.
Well, only time can tell. For now, I reached the entrance. It was guarded by some seals and a ROOT Ninja. Nothing really troublesome, the guard was dispatched by a lightning enhanced kunai and the seals overwritten. So with a clear path, I was good to go and strolled right into the base.
Stroll was maybe the wrong word, it's more that I sneaked inside and had an open eye for any possible trap. And boy there were traps. The whole thing was riddled with traps, each keyed to a surveillance seal. There even were surveillance cameras. These buggers were nasty and I had to be extra careful not to step into their view.
Let's just say that I'm not really the description of a Ninja. Sure, killing someone silently was easy, evading traps not so much.
I was almost there when a camera spotted me. At first, I didn't notice that they knew of me, only when half a dozen Chakra signatures came rushing towards my position did I knew that something was wrong.
I dropped any attempt at being silent and made four enforced shadow clones. Two for each direction. We rushed off and reached the cells only moments before the defenders did. My clones instantly engaged them in a fight and I stepped inside the prison.
There weren't many other prisoners, only Guy and Kakashi, but both of them had the cursed seal. I felt Orochimaru's Chakra inside them. Kakashi was even muttering how he was swearing his loyalty to Danzo and Orochimaru.
°Is this an education room?°, asked Kura-chan.
°Seems so, let's take Anko and leave. I don't want to take the others, their strength will make future wars more interesting°, I said and stopped in front of Anko Mitarashi's cell.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anko's POV;
The noise of an opening door broke me out of my delirium. Danzo's goons have done quite a thing to me. He thought I might know something about the curse seal, so when I told him that I don't know shit he just said that I would tell them anyway. His Ninja disarmed me and since then I was a lab rat for him. Still, it seems that his attempts at gaining the curse seal didn't work.
So the cripple bastard allied himself with the snake bastard. Orochimaru himself came to me and mocked me. How stupid I was for not following him and how everything since then was my fault. The glares and insults from the villagers, the constant fear of being backstabbed by my 'comrades', the lower than normal payment or the higher than normal prices.
The other guys were also down here. The latest new member was Might Guy.
They are giving us drugs and I feel how they influence me. I caught myself thinking that I should help the cripple and snake bastard. Whatever they are giving me isn't good. Since then I refused to drink or eat anything, which wasn't stopping them from forcing me to take this drug. It gets harder and harder to not think positively about the cripple and that snake bastard.
At least Danzo's ROOT Ninja were emotionally too crippled for thinking about rape....Orochimaru's goons were not. The drug is changing me, last time I almost enjoyed it.
“Here for another round?”, I asked weakly. I'm too weak to move, or else I would have spit into his face. Yet, at the same time, I already get aroused. Fuck this drug!
The noise of shuffling feet told me that the person was coming towards my cell.
“You look like shit Anko-chan”, spoke the voice. There were no emotions in its tone or anything else that would tell me who this newcomer was. It was even slightly distorted.
Curiosity got me and I gathered some of my remaining strength to raise my head. Not an easy feat with Chakra suppression seals and a beaten body.
The man, at least his body looked male, was clad in an armor that screamed death. Skulls were hanging from his belt with eerily green glowing symbols all over his clothes. The face was a skull, with purple glowing eyes in his eye sockets.
“So death finally came to claim me?”, I asked in a raspy voice. They haven't given me much to drink, other than their disgusting bodily fluids. Even that was only once, the guy who tried isn't a guy anymore.
Death chuckled in his distorted voice and shook his head in denial. “No, I came here to help you. I thought it would be nice to leave Konoha”, he said and then bent the bars of my cell. He stepped through his self-made entrance and ripped the chains that were binding me out of the wall.
What would Danzo say when I leave?.... Wait! Curse this drug! “Hell yes!”, I shouted as loud as I could. It only came out slightly louder than my normal voice.
“Good good, then let's get rid of these cuffs”, said Death. He put his hands on the Chakra suppressor seals and a short blue glow followed. A moment later I felt my Chakra rushing back through my system and my whole body got reenergized.
He pulled me up and a black flash blinded me before I found myself inside a new room. It was bright and warm. I heard voices but was still too tired to see anything beyond a meter.
They were female, at least I think they were. A moment later something warm filled me and I recognized this feeling as a medical Jutsu. Someone was healing my bruises and injuries.
It was warm and made me tired. So tired....

Dexter's POV;
Anko fell asleep the moment Tsunade began her healing.
“What happened to her?”, asked Yuugao worriedly.
“Found her inside a cell, as bruised as you can see and chained to the wall. She first thought I was Death and would finally take her with me”, I answered and took my hood and mask off.
“These bastards”, cursed mom. She was helping Tsunade carrying Anko upwards, to one of our guest rooms.
“We should keep an eye on her”, I said while following them.
“Yes, who knows what they did to her”, agreed Tsunade. She has worn a deep frown since her medical scan. They must have done something for Tsunade to be this angry.
“I'll take the first watch”, offered Yuugao. All of us agreed and it was decided that we would watch over Anko until she wakes up and can tell us more.
