《Dex's Adventure Through The Elemental Nations (Completed)》Chapter 23

Dexter's POV;
“Morning Dexter-kun”. I looked up and saw TenTen entering the clearing we are going to use as our training ground.
“Morning TenTen”, I greeted back. I was sitting under a tree and didn't deemed it necessary to stand up for the greeting.
“So only Lee and Sensei are left?”, asked TenTen while walking over to me as she noticed that I would not come over to her.
I shortly mused about her question and if it was a rhetorical one. But decided to tell her what I know.
“Guy-Sensei is already training, he shouted something about eternal flames of youth after seeing me and then began to do a heavy workout. I don't know about Lee”.
“I have to get there on time, if I won't manage that, then I will do a hundred push-ups, and if I can't do that, then I will do a thousand squads, and if I can't....”, came loudly from the direction in which the village was. I glanced over at TenTen, who was already starting to frown.
Lee came shortly after into view, he was running as fast as he could and continued to ramble his stuff until he reached us.
He huffed and puffed a few times, before straightening up. “Yosh, I was not the last one. Sensei is still not here”.
“He is Lee, he just started without us”, I corrected and Lee fell down into a state of depression.
“Good, you are all here. Let's start the training”, said Guy suddenly from the side. We all turned around to look at him. He was sweating a little and had three bundles of green on his right hand.
“These are our training clothes”, he then said and gave each of us one.
“I'm not wearing this!”, stated TenTen who had unfolded one of them and only held it up with two fingers. They were the green spandex monster clothes Guy was also wearing.
“Cool!”, was Lee's statement who instantly rushed off to change clothes. Guy looked expectantly at me, who was still sitting.
“Nope, but I will take them. It's good as a weapon”.
“Weapon?”, asked TenTen.
“Yeah, just put your prisoners into these things before you start the interrogation and they will tell you anything under the promise to get out of it”, I explained without emotion and emphasized 'it'.
TenTen began to laugh loudly, while Guy began to cry under the badmouthing of his favorite and
probably only clothing style he had.
We then heard a rustle and Lee came back. He now looked like the mini Guy that he always was during the anime. “How do I look? I think I can already feel how my strength grows”.
“At least one of my students sees the youth in my clothes. But I'm sure the rest will too. Time will show you how much stronger Lee will get with my personal training clothes”, shouted Guy with eyes of burning passion.
“So they were even worn by you?”, asked TenTen in disgust and disbelieve, hoping that this is a lie.
“Of course! But let us start with our training. I want to see what you can do and what you can't do”, he said proudly. TenTen nearly puked when she heard that.
“So each of you is going to fight against me. Use everything you have and leave nothing out”.
“I'll start”, declared Lee and they walked a little bit away from me and TenTen.
Guy gave the sign to start the fight and Lee rushed at him without thinking twice. He used the Academy Style with a few improvised attacks here and there. Overall he was fast for a fresh Genin and had a lot of strength and stamina. Still, he was only a Genin and was using the Academy Style. A style that is used by most students in Konoha and with that known to civilians as well. It's very likely that every good Shinobi knows how to fight this style. And I don't only mean Konoha Ninja.

The fight lasted for five minutes and Guy was correcting attacks during the whole fight. He kept a serious face and wasn't making any comments about youth during the whole thing. Which makes him better than Kakashi, who would even read his porn during times like these.
Guy raised his hand as a signal to stop and they both stopped.
“That was very good Lee. Your Taijutsu is good, even for the Academy Style. I think you're perfectly suited for my Strong Fist style”, he then said.
“Why can't I use my current style?”, asked Lee in confusion.
Guy quick to answer; “It's too well known, every Ninja that has only a little bit of skill knows how to fight it”. He then turned to TenTen and waved her over.
Their fight only lasted for a minute until she was out of breath. She then began to use Kunai and Shuriken, which also didn't last too long. After that came her scrolls that were packed with any kind of weapon. However, she was only using them as mass projectiles. Following the term, more is better.
Surprisingly this lasted four more minutes until even this supply run dry.“I'm out of weapons”, she finally admitted and sat down from exhaustion.
“Hmm, your Taijutsu isn't bad, but not as good as Lee's. The Strong Fist won't fit you, but there are others you might be able to use. I bring a few of them tomorrow. Your use of weapons lacks accuracy. Try to use a few tactics with them, like hidden weapons or weapons on a wire. Do you know any Jutsu?”, listed Guy.
“Only the basic school Jutsu”, she admitted.
Guy thought for a moment before continuing; “A Genjutsu that hampers the sight or movement of your enemy might be good as well. There are a few that might be useful. But I'm not good with them, you have to learn them on your own. Sorry that I'm not much of a help”.
TenTen shook her head in denial and said; “You don't have to Sensei, you made clear that I lack in some parts and gave me advice to change those. That is more than in the academy”. She then stood up and made room for me.
I walked silently in front of Guy and then waited for him to signal the start. He gave me a nod and I did my standard tactic. I did nothing.
At first, he waited but after two minutes asked; “Don't you want to attack me?”.
I did nothing and simply stared at him. He held his gaze and then shrugged before attacking me.
The first attack was a fist, which I evaded with a tenth of my possible speed and skill.
This was followed by a foot from the side which I ducked under. Still without a tenth of my full capacity. He isn't allowed to see that I'm way above others. It's possible that he, Kakashi, Sarutobi, and Danzo are the only ones currently inside the village that are as strong or stronger than me. Kakashi maybe not, he's too much relying on his Sharingan. This will change with the Wave Mission, but not until then.
Anyway, the fight continued with me evading his attacks until he upped the speed and I had to block the attack. Otherwise, I would have given me away. The strength behind his attacks wasn't low as well.
“You have to attack or it will only get worse. I need to see where you stand”, he warned and once again upped his speed and strength.

I did as he said and began to move in hard to follow patterns. These patterns were mostly quick back and forth jumps with ducks, crouched movements, and evasions between. They allowed me to get inside his defense, at least inside his current defense, where I was able to attack a few nerve clusters on his shoulder. He then stopped the fight with a raised hand.
“That was good, the nerve you hit made my arm useless. And the precision you used showed that that was your intentions all along. Do you prefer this kind of attack?”.
I replied with a shrug of my shoulders; “Yes, I like to disarm my enemy. They aren't as likely to hit back with ripped tendons or the dysfunction of their nerves. It also has other uses”.
“Yes, that is indeed true. But what will you do when they have armor?”. I gave another shrug and showed him that I didn't know. This wasn't true, in these cases, I just use the scalpel Jutsu that is commonly used by doctors. The same that Kabuto uses.
“Do you have any Jutsu to use?”, he then asked.
“Only the basics”, I lied and knew that he knew. Saurtobi must've told him. How else should he be able to act if it's necessary.
He then began with his analysis; “A mist Jutsu might help you. Your Taijutsu depends on the fact that your enemy isn't able to follow you. The speed you had in combination with your moves are a good way, still, it won't hurt to put another defense up”.
He then walked back to the other two and I followed.
“Your training will mostly consist out of muscle strengthening and endurance training. This will strengthen your body. We will do this from 8 am. To 10 am. Then comes an hour of rest and another hour of individual training before we will take a single D-Rank mission around 12 pm. We will try to finish it on the same day. After that comes more individual training until 7 pm. You are free to ask anything you want during the individual training and I try to help you as best as I can.
I also have a suggestion for the pause. What do you think of eating in a restaurant? We can rotate in our choice and whoever has to choose also has to pay. Anyone against this?”
“What if the one who pays hasn't enough money?”, asked Lee. He was an orphan and as such hasn't much money.
“Then you can get payback when the others have to pay. I will naturally help you out if this happens. But it would be good to tell us. No one wants to make any trouble”, assured Guy.
No one of us had anything against it after this and we all agreed to do as he suggested. The first to pick a restaurant was Lee.
“Well then, let's start with our physical training. Each of you will get weights and will then run laps around Konoha”. He then pulled four sets of weights out of a sack and gave each one of us before attaching his own.
The weights were all of a different weight so that no one had too much or too little. I put them on and didn't feel them. My own seal weights were far too heavy. This little increase will not hinder me any more than I am now.
Which was bad, because Guy will surely notice this and might grow suspicious. So I secretly upped my own weights until I felt the pressure from them.
The following jog was hard and I even had problems at the end. At least this farce of a life will be over in a little bit more than a year and a few month. Once Sasuke defects I will be gone as well.
Both I and TenTen were a panting mess at the end of our laps and I seriously had to reconsider my intelligence. Why did I find it was a good idea to up my weights by this much?
“Good, we'll rest for two minutes before Lee can choose our first restaurant”, said Guy. He was still fresh and didn't look any worse than he did when we started.
“Yosh, I choose Firo's Specialities. They have a really good curry”, shouted Lee, not even waiting for us to catch a breath. We were then forced to follow him to said restaurant.
“So what do you do in your spare time?”, asked Guy after we ordered our food. I chose chicken curry of course.
TenTen was the first to speak; “I mostly help my father with the shop or train with new and old weapons. Sometimes Dexter and his sister come and we will then speak about new weapons or other things”, she said with a side glance at me.
°I hope she doesn't get any hopes°, came suddenly from Kura-chan.
°I see you're awake. Why did you choose to open a link? I'm still with Guy and Lee°.
°They aren't likely this loud while being under people°, was her reply. It contained a large amount of hope.
“So you both knew each other before? That is so COOL!”, shouted Lee with teary eyes.
°Are you sure?°, I asked amused but got no reply. Kura-chan was already gone.
“Yes, I met her when I was four”, I confirmed.
“Well then, I train in my free time. Other than that I really like to eat curry, especially the hot ones”, said Lee after that.
They then looked at me; “I like to spend time with my sister and read a lot. Other than that are a little bit of interest in Fuinjutsu and my lifelong adventure of chicken and the many dishes that are possible to create with this food of gods”.
They looked a little wryly after hearing my proclamation but Guy quickly carried on.
“Seems like I'm the only one left. I also train a lot in my free time, other interests are spars against my eternal rival Hatake Kakashi and admiring the Youth of Konoha's people”.
We then spoke about all kinds of things and ate a good curry before we had to go to the Hokage Tower for our mission.
Said mission turned out to be the painting of a fence.
I didn't hold out for ten minutes before I had to ask; “Are all D-Ranks this boring?”.
“Most of them yes, a few can be used as a training and then there is the capture Tora mission. It's the cat of the wife from the Daimyo. It constantly escapes and we have to recapture it for her”, explained Guy from the side. He wasn't helping us, like every good teacher.
“How long do we have to do them before we are allowed to take other missions?”, asked TenTen. Also not amused and slightly painted as well. Lee stumbled over a pot of paint and some of it splattered over TenTen.
“At least 30. Some teams are then allowed to take a C-Rank mission. Most teams take it and then do one C-Rank each third month. They do D-Ranks between these months”.
We all groaned and continued our work. This is boring, maybe I'll send a blood clone? But then I get his memories and will still have this bored feeling.
An hour later we finished our mission and were back to training. Guy didn't have any scrolls with him, so we continued with strength training until it was time to go home.
I opened the door and walked inside with a tired expression and even more tired muscles; “I'm back!”.
No one answered me, which means that Yuugao-nee was on a mission. I made some food and the went to bed. The next few month will be hard as fuck in the morning, boring in the middle and again hard until evening.
°At least you can come inside the seal during the night°, chirped Kura-chan.
Ah yes, at least I can sleep in the soft embrace of nine fluffy tails and a pretty woman. Things don't look as bleak anymore when I see it from that side.
