Dex's POV;

It took me some time, but I managed to settle down. Rufu's death hit me way harder than I thought. It kinda showed how much I was in need of someone who I could speak to.

And it also showed me how it feels to be not strong enough. My first live had no real dangers and I was an overpowered being in my second.

The time I spend with Rufus was a really good one. My Chakra and the control over it grew almost twice as fast in the time with him.

The statement that love, be it a friend or a lover, gives true strength is true. However, in my opinion, only half the truth. Love can be a great ambition, but the same can also be said about hate.

However, hate leaves you alone the moment you've fulfilled its purpose.

While love gives you other people with whom you're then able to celebrate your goal. But again, both sides have also pros and cons. The con for hate is already said, while the pro is that you won't have to watch out for other people. And above that you can't loose what you never had.

This should explain what the con on love is. You are vulnerable if your loved ones aren't able to protect them. You yourself won't be able to keep them safe for 24/7. It's bound to happen one day.

This was easily shown in my case. I couldn't protect Rufus, because I wasn't strong enough.

Yet I still prefer love over hate, it's not as lonely.

Well, I managed to kill them, but only with the Chakra of the fox. And I'm not able to use it whenever I want. [Calm Mind] is basically protecting and blocking me from it. The fox has to give it to me on his own.

But I have to get back on track. I need plans for my future. It's clear that I can't stay in the orphanage, so Sarutobi will give me an apartment. This is good, as I'm then able to learn Fujinjutsu.

Bad because he will probably give me ANBU guards and it will be hard to loose them.

Well, I think I will manage. At the very least when I'm able to use shadow clones. I already have enough chakra for them.

I direly need to switch my Chakra training, leaf exercise doesn't give me the needed effect any longer. So wall walking and excessive use of Chakra will be on my list.

I also need a second persona I can use as my real live. I won't stay Naruto longer than necessary, I hope there are blood clones on the scroll. This other live will then be used for my stay in Konoha. Where I will mostly be until the Sasuke defection part. A third persona, which will be my real body will went out into the world for a few years.

I will have to train and move things in a positive light for me. I already made some plans for this life and Konoha is not a lasting part of it.

I'm not yet settled on the destruction of Konoha. Well not everything, the civilian council and Danzo will die.

I also have to train with my Sharingan and my newly gained Mangekyou-Sharingan. That's pretty easy, I just have to wait for the Uchiha massacre and will then be able to read their scrolls. Sasuke won't be able to stop me and the Village isn't allowed to take them away from him, as they are from a Clan and Clan matters aren't decided by the village.

Well, I hope that's the case.

And then there is my own bloodline, the Chakra Chains. I think every Uzumaki with enough pure blood can develop them and I'm at least a half pure and royal blooded Uzumaki.

Oh and I can't forget to find the Namikaze estate. Minato and Kushina were seal master, they surely guarded it with blood seals. I just have to find it.

So much to do.

The door opened, ripped me out of my thoughts and Sarutobi walked inside. Three people followed in the shadows.

“Hello Naruto-kun, how are you?”, he asked with a kind smile.

“I don't want to speak when others are listening to our conversation without showing their faces”, I answered flatly and without any emotions.

“Very well, Dog, Cat, show yourself”, he said and two people jumped behind the Hokage in a kneeling position.

“Now, could you tell me please what happened?”, he then asked and I frowned.

“Why should I? He didn't show himself”, I said and pointed to a corner.

Sarutobi looked confused for a moment, before Dog and Cat both suddenly sprung into action and attacked a person who had to end a camouflage Jutsu.

The third person tried to flee, but was quickly taken down. Dog then began to restrain the man, who also wore a mask. However, the man began to make choking sounds and spasms shook his body, before he went quiet.

“He's dead, he used a poison capsule”, said Dog.

“I know from where he came”, said Sarutobi with an angry frown.

“Naruto-kun, how did you feel him?”, he then asked me.

“What do you mean how? I just felt his Chakra”, I answered as if it was a natural thing.

“You are able to feel the suppressed Chakra of ANBU?”, asked the woman with the cat mask.

“Is that hard? I could always feel everyone. It was quite hard to block all those little Chakra signatures out. A person with much Chakra is way easier to feel”, I answered with a question on my part.

“Most others?”, asked Kakashi, who is probably behind the dog mask.

“He must mean civilians, only they have a smaller Chakra signature than an ANBU who suppresses his Chakra”, explained Sarutobi and I nodded in agreement.

“No way, a four-year-old child is able to feel the chakra of a civilian?”, said Cat in disbelieve.

“Naruto-kun, from how far away can you feel people? I mean, can you feel only us or also the people in the other rooms?”, asked the Hokage interested.

“I can feel everyone”, I said with a smug grin.

“You mean everyone in the building?”, asked Kakashi amazed.

“No, everyone”, I answered.

“How many is everyone?”, asked Sarutobi, who sounded like he was speaking with a child. Which he is and I'm making it easy for him to believe I am a normal child.

“Ähm, way more than I can count”, I answered.

“And up to how many can you count?”, asked Cat.

“A thousand, I don't know what comes after that”, I said and pouted a little.

“How can a four year old child count to a thousand?”, asked Kakashi, he didn't believed me. He must think I heard the number and am only using it now.

“Oh, that was easy. It was whip-day”, I said and they all cringed at my natural tone.

“O...okay, then how often could you count to thousand if you would have to count the people who you can feel?”, asked the Hokage. He was trying hard to not sound differently than normal.

“Forty times”, I answered.

“That is the rough number of Konoha's population”, said Cat in disbelieve.

“You mean he can feel all of Konoha? Isn't that on the level of a Master Sensor?”, asked Kakashi.

“Yes it is, but we diverged to much from our initial topic. Please tell us what happened Naruto-kun”, said Sarutobi.

“Rufus... and I came back from our training”, I began and Dog interrupted me;” Training?”.

“Please let him finish”, said Sarutobi and Kakashi quickly stood straighter.

“We came back from our training and then there were these two men. They called me demon brat and then said that they want to show me how it feels to loose someone who is near to you, like I apparently have done to them”, I said and the frown that was on Sarutobi's face since I started got deeper.

“We tried to run, but... but they were faster and they killed Rufus. They then spit fire on his body and I don't know what happened from then on”, I said.

“It's okay, these two won't be able to hurt you or your friends anymore”, said the Hokage.

“I don't have friends, not anymore”, I said quietly. But not quiet enough for them to not hear it.

“Why do they call me demon and why are they treating me like that?”, I asked but got no reply.

“Naruto-kun, what would you say to live alone?”, asked the Hokage trying to change the topic.

“I don't know, can't I be someone else?”, I asked back.

“What do you mean someone else? You will ever be Naruto-kun”, he said.

“I mean, the other children are treated differently, can't I be like them? I would just have to look differently” I asked. It's hard to act like you don't know shit and still want to get to your goal.

“You can't change how you look. At least not enough for them not to notice and people would question where you've gone”, he answered.

“...I know, you could make a clone of me and I would change my hair and put this stuff on my face. The same stuff that women often have on their faces to look differently”, I said cheerfully at my brilliant plan. A plan that I spoke fully in a childish tone.

“How do you know about clones?”, asked Cat.

“I've seen him fighting someone in green clothes. He made some hand signs and then a second he came out of a cloud of smoke. The guy in green clothes then shouted something and they fought after that”, I said and pointed at Kakashi, who surely was panicking now, that a child knows his real identity.

“Could that be possible Dog?”, asked the Hokage.

“It might be, I sometimes use clones in my spars with him”, Kakashi said in a way that won't give me to much information.

“Hmm, but a Shadow Clone would dispel after a hit”, thought Sarutobi out loud.

“What about a blood clone?”, asked Cat.

“That would work, but Naruto-kun must have enough Chakra for that and only a Kage could produce one without major Chakra exhaustion or death”, answered Sarutobi while shaking his head.

“My Chakra feels larger than yours”, I said happily and with a victory pose.

“Naruto-kun, I can't feel any Chakra from you”, said the Hokage in a slight scolding tone.

“Oh yeah, forgot I'm doing that. The Ninja who're always hurting me don't do it so long, when I do it”, I said and stopped with the suppression of my Chakra.

They really did that. They knew that someone with much Chakra can take more damage. So they only did enough to almost kill a civilian when I was suppressing my Chakra.

Blue Chakra began to swirl around me and a Chakra induced wind blow blew the cover of my bed away.

“Please put it back down Naruto-kun”, asked Sarutobi and I noticed that both Cat and Kakashi were breathing heavily.

“Oh, sorry”, I said and put it back down to civilian.

“Impressive”, praised the Hokage, while Cat and Dog tried to get their composure back.

“There is this thing I'm always doing. I'm forming a ball with my Chakra and let it move through me. I make the ball always as large as possible”, I said and he looked really impressed.

“I see. Yes, that would work with your Chakra. But it's not a Kinjutsu for nothing. You would not only need extremely high Chakra reserves, you would also need 4 litres of your blood”, said the Hokage.

“I have blood, they often found it funny how much I have”, I said and made another hint on my torture sessions. The effect I hoped for was quickly reached as the Hokage made a pained expression and both Kakashi and Cat flinched.

“Okay Naruto-kun, we could do that. We will help you creating a blood clone and the clone will then live as Naruto-kun, while you will dye your hair and put make-up on your whisker marks. Contact lenses will also be needed”, explained the Hokage.

“Sir, may I speak?”, asked Cat suddenly.

“Yes,” said Hokage.

“This would give us the opportunity to give Naruto-kun up for adoption. I would like to request permission to adopt him”, she said.

“Are you sure? You would have to be in ANBU and care about Naruto-kun. That are two huge responsibilities”, said the Hokage, while looking her into the eyes.

“Yes, I'm sure”, she said with certainty.

“Naruto-kun, what do you think? Do you want to live with Cat here?”, asked Sarutobi me now.

“Will she do the same things that the caretakers did?”, asked back.

“I WOULD NEVER DO SUCH BARBARIC AND CRUEL THINGS!”, shouted Cat and I acted like I was scarred and flinched.

“I'm sorry. Naruto-kun, I would never hurt you and won't let others hurt you”, she said in a quieter and softer tone.

“We need a story”, said Kakashi from the side.

“Yes, I already know one. Cat you will take part in a B-Rank bandit extermination, where you will find the disguised Naruto-kun. You will bring him back and request from me to take care of him”, said the Hokage.

“By what reason? It wouldn't be the first time”, asked Kakashi.

“We will come up with something”, said Sarutobi and gave a glance to me. His glance must have told them that he knew a reason but that it won't be something for the ears of a child.

“You two will still have the task to guard the fake Naruto-kun, for appearance”, he then said.

“Ähm, can I also suggest something?”, I asked from my position and they looked at me.

“I want to be a Ninja, but I don't trust the villagers to not harm or sabotage me. At least not when I'm too intelligent. Can my clone act like a dumb child that can do nothing right?”, I continued and they looked impressed by my thoughts.

“Yes, that would be good. No one will suspect your real you, when your fake acts like an idiot”, mused Kakashi and Cat nodded.

“Then it's decided. We will create a blood clone, who will then act like an idiot and will life as Naruto-kun. While the real Naruto-kun will change his hair and eye colour and hide his whisker marks. Naruto-kun will then get adopted by Cat and can life a normal live like other children”, concluded Sarutobi.

“How should we call your new personality?”, asked Cat.

“I want to be called Dex, that will be short for Dexter,” I said.

“Dexter, an unusual name, but I think he will do”, said the Hokage in agreement.

“Dog, could you please fetch a needle and a catheter?”, he then said and Kakashi vanished.

“Now then, Cat please take your mask of and introduce yourself to Dex here”, said Sarutobi and Cat took her mask off.

She was a beautiful woman, maybe in her early twenties. Her hair was violet and her eyes were brown.

“My name is Yuugao Uzuki, nice to meet you Naruto-kun”, she said with a friendly smile.

“Hello”, I said in a slightly shy tone.

“Okay, then I'm going to call you Naruto-kun”, she then said.

“Okay, can I call you Yuugao-nee?”, I asked back. I don't like these suffixes. Why do they have to use them? Isn't the name enough? Your emotional position towards the other person can be felt through your voice and behaviour. You don't need an extra word.

And there are so many of them.

Kun for teenagers or young employees. -chan, -tan, -chama und -tama can all describe something cute, a person you like, a person you love, a girl or even a normal child. And these are only the easy ones.

I hope I'm using them at the right time and if not, then I'm going to be a rude person for all my live.

“I would like that”, she said and her smile grew.

Kakashi took that moment to come back and we took a lot of my blood. They were astonished at how much blood I could loose, without feeling unwell or even looking paler. Four litre would kill every normal person.

The Hokage looked at me seriously after the bags were filled and said; “Naruto-kun, no, Dex-kun, you must promise me that you won't tell anyone about this technique. It's deadly for normal people and a secret from our village. Can you promise that?”.

“Yes Jiji”, I said and used the word for Grandfather the first time, which made him smile fondly.

“Good, then try to copy these hand signs and put chakra into your hands while doing that. You then have to shout the name of the Jutsu after your last sign”, explained Sarutobi and moved slowly through the signs.

“Will the blood be gone, when I fail”, I asked to be sure.

“No, you would only loose your Chakra. So tell me when it begins to feel lesser than mine”, he assured and I began to copy his signs. I had them right after ten minutes.

The first and second try didn't go well, but the third one worked and a smoke cloud filled the place, where once my blood was.

My Chakra was now also lesser than that of Sarutobi, but only slightly.

“Cool, I look like me”, said the clone.

“Yes, and I must say, I look good. If you ignore the ugly hospital gown”, I said and the Hokage laughed a little.

“This clone is an exact copy of you, he will live like any other human and won't even dispel when you die. You could say it's a new person. However, he only has a third of your Chakra. ”, explained the Hokage.

“Cool, do you know what you have to do?”, I said and then asked the clone, who gave a salute as his reply.

“Yes boss, I have to act like the dumbest idiot alive. I think it would be good to shout something like;” I'm going to become the Hokage and then the people will acknowledge me, believe it”, or something like that”, answered the clone and I had to suppress a laugh.

“Why is going to become the Hokage dumb?”, asked the Hokage.

“It's not dumb in itself, it's dumb to assume that people will acknowledge you if you are one. Only the acknowledged will get to be the Hokage”, I said sagely and they nodded in agreement.

“You could think that you aren't even four, when you speak like that”, said Kakashi.

“You have to grow up when you'll get hit or cut for everything you do. Even if it's something you have done right”, I said flatly and he apologised.

I'm so going to use the °Tortured and Mistreated Child° card, whenever I need to. At least the torture was good for something.

“Okay, Dog? Take Naruto-kun here to the orphanage and pick up his things, then you are to find an apartment for him”, Sarutobi then ordered.

“Jiji, I don't have things”, I said.

“What do you mean Dex? What about the clothes I've seen on you whenever I visited?”, asked the Hokage confused.

“Those were bought especially for your visits. They always burned them afterwards. I only have the clothes I wore as you found me today”, I explained and he looked as if he was close to tears.

“We thought these were the remains after your fight”, he then said.

“No, they weren't damaged, well except for the blood. Okay most of the blood”, I said nonchalantly.

“Then buy new ones and send me the bill. The same goes for you Yuugao. But before you go, could you bring hair dye, makeup and contact licenses?”, said the Hokage.

“What colour?”, asked Yuugao.

“The same as yours, the story will be easier to believe that way”, was the answer she got and both vanished.

“Naruto-kun, Yuugao will often be away for missions, so I hope you won't make it too hard for her. She doesn't know how to take care of a child”, he then said and looked down on both of me.

“I won't. Why should I endanger a safe place, where no one hurts me?”, I replied and my clone nodded.

We had to wait for thirty minutes. It's apparently not easy to find these things in the middle of the night. The dress up took an hour and I now had purple hair and brown eyes. My whiskers were also hidden.

“From now on you will be Dexter Uzuki and Naruto-kun Uzumaki will lead your fake life”, said the Hokage as he smiled down on my changed me.

I now wore black pants and a blue t-shirt, with Shinobi sandals. Also something that I have to change, when I can. These sandals are a risk for my toes. I prefer boots with steel toecaps.

Naruto-kun went off with Kakashi, while Yuugao shunshined me to her apartment.

And for the future, I won't be able to post a chapter each friday. My work is just too irrugular for that. I'm going to post one, whenever I have my days off. So the next will come on Monday.

My normal working week is 7 days work and then 2 days off, however, this is not always the case.
