《This Kitty has guns》Chapter 5: Deal

"Are you sure?" asked me Reveon.
"Yes. How come you had no plans of having your way with me? Most men don't bother with feelings of their slaves." I asked in return.
"Well, I am not like the most. Besides, I really need a battle companion. If I start fooling around, I might get into a trouble if you become pregnant." he said with a smile.
Hmm, should I tell him? Why not? it will be a small test to see what he does.
"Actually it's impossible for me to get pregnant. A side effect for the changes to my body," I said and looked for his reaction.
"Eh ?" he looked at me surprised.
Well, it was not permanent. If I really wanted a child, could restore everything back. It's just that it would be stupid suffering bleeding every month when I have means to avoid that, but he doesn't need to know that. Now what he will do...
"Why are you telling me all this?" asked me Reveon while looking at me suspiciously. "If I was someone else, those words would be an invitation to ravish you here and now."
"Because I want to see what you will do, to see if you are trustworthy," I answered.
"Hmm, I would be lying if said that I have no interest at all. But if it's forced, might affect your battle prowess. And I would like my partner to be willing. Who knows, after some time, with no one else to choose from, you might ask for it yourself. I am not in a hurry." answered Reveon with a grin.
Uhh, I can't outright deny his claim. He really is bad news for me. I can probably change all this if tampered with emotions a bit... As my thoughts reached there, the image of father covered in blood flashed in my mind.
No! I promised! This is how it all started the last time. It was just a small change at first, but in the end, I almost became a monster. Others might consider seven sins as a source of evil, but I know better. Lack of any emotions is where the true evil lurks. I chased away unpleasant memories and looked at Reveon.
"Well, I have some bad news for you... Master," the last part was said with a bit of sarcasm, "You have bought quite a troublesome slave... actually, is there any way you can show your status to others?" I asked.
"Troublesome you say? Oh, that's right, should have invited you to a party sooner," said Reveon and stretched his hand, as if waiting for a handshake.

I offered my hand in return and waited for what will happen next.
Reveon Sile'dhur has invited you to his party.
Do you Accept? Y/N
"Status of Melissa," said Reveon right after I accepted his invitation.
Hmm? Now that we are in the same 'party', he can see my status? Then it should be possible for me as well.
Status of Reveon Sile'dur! I thought in my mind, and just as suspected, shouting aloud was not necessary.
> Name: Reveon Sile'dur Health: 88/88 Level: 9 Mana: 340/340 Race: Elf Stamina: 93/93 Gender: Male Strength: 19 Age: 27 Agility: 24 Class: Wizard Endurance: 23 Subclass: Enchanter Mind Power: 68 State: Healthy, Slaves(Melissa) Unallocated attribute points 0 > ACTIVE Mana Manipulation LVL 2 Meditation LVL 6 PASSIVE Eternal LVL 1 Nightvision LVL 3 Mana Perception LVL 5 Enhanced Sight LVL 3 Accuracy LVL 4 Enhanced Hearing LVL 2 Bow Mastery LVL 2 > Space Time Magic(Special) LVL 3 Light Magic LVL 4 Enchantment Magic LVL 1 > Mage Robe Trousers Leather Boots Underwear(Male)
"What the... What's with those stats!?" the elf shouted surprised and I looked at my own status as well.
> Name: Melissa Health: 123/123 Level: 4 Mana: 330/330 Race: Cat Beastkin Stamina: 126/126 Gender: Female Strength: 33 Age: 14 Agility: 36 Class: None Endurance: 30 Subclass: None Mind Power: 66 State: Healthy, Enslaved(Reveon Sile'dur) Unallocated attribute points 3 > ACTIVE Body Manipulation (Unique) LVL 4 PASSIVE Eternal LVL MAX Nightvision LVL 1 Corrosion resistance LVL 1 Enhanced Smell LVL 2 Regeneration LVL 2 Enhanced Hearing LVL 2 Acrobatics LVL 2 Enhanced Sight LVL 2 Mental Resistance LVL 7 Enhanced Mind (Special) LVL 3 Godly Accuracy(NEW) LVL 1 Lie Detection (NEW) LVL 1 > Slave Tunic Slave Collar
"How is that a status of level four?!" shouted flustered Reveon, "I am an elf and have a wizard class from the birth. Yet even your mind power is almost the same as mine. Your race should be terrible at magic. What's going on?"
"Well I am a naughty Kitty, I don't play by the rules. Though I would like to ask, why you as wizard have bow mastery? Is this an elf thing?" I asked once again.
"No, it has nothing to do with my race... well, at least not directly. The bow is my only way to attack. Even if I am a wizard, as you can see I don't have magic suited for attack. Being born with a class sometimes can be bad. When one normally becomes a wizard, there is a choice for a type of magic he can obtain. Sadly as a baby, I had no awareness and it was picked at random. Light magic isn't meant for attacking and neither is my inherited Space-Time magic. With sight advantage of my race, I choose bow as my means to deal damage." he explained.

"Wow, you spill secrets so easily," I teased him, "Probably haven't checked my mental resistance yet."
"What the... Eternal at maximum?! Doesn't that mean that you are immortal? And what do you mean mental resistance... oh."
"Yes, my dear Master. It means this collar is nothing more than a toy. We both know I am stronger, and if let's say you mysteriously disappear, I will be free." I tried to look threatening.
"Now wait a second, we don't need to... Ha! Nice try Kitty. I almost fell for it. You have no guts to do that." he said with a smile of victory.
"What do you mean?!" I was confused.
"It's very simple. You could have killed me on the way to this Inn. There were plenty of opportunities to do that. No patrols around, empty streets, and if I was dragged into a back alley - no witnesses either. Yet here I am, alive and kicking. It just proves that you don't have what it takes to kill in cold blood." he explained.
He couldn't be more wrong. I could easily kill anyone... well, almost anyone. It's just that the target this time was really unfair. How do I justify my inability to kill him?? Admit that he reminds of my father or that I might even like him? No way! At least not now...
"Maybe, but you are still left with an unruly slave. What use I am to you if I can ignore everything you say? And I might even get the courage to kill you one day." I pointed out another problem for him.
"That's problematic indeed... Let's make a deal Kitty." offered Reveon enthusiastically.
"A Deal ?" I asked expectantly.
"You will work diligently with me and our gains will be split in half. Once you can pay me 20 gold with your share, I will set you free," he suggested.
"Twenty gold?! You bought me only for eight!" though I sounded angry, I was actually happy with the development.
"Yes, but you said so yourself, there are no problems with your health and your stats are quite impressive, twenty gold is actually very cheap. I will need to buy another slave once you are free and there is no way I will get another discount." Reveon started to defend himself.
"How about ten gold and a promise to continue working with you once I am free," I offered a counter suggestion, "but as an equal partner this time."
The part of working with him further was just an excuse. I might be a slave at the moment, but I already decided that it's him that belongs to me. There is no way I will let him slip away.
"Hmm... Deal. Who knows, maybe we can become good friends in the future..." for some reason easily agreed Reveon, and I could tell he was telling the truth.
"Well, with this out of the way, we should go to buy you some equipment. Hmm, with our deal in effect, should I add all expenses to your debt?" he quickly added with a grin.
"You..." I glared at him angrily.
"Ha ha ha. Let's go Kitty. If we get all that done fast enough, might even have time to register you as an adventurer. Though keep in mind that money is limited, so we will buy only what's really important. Have anything in mind?" he asked while heading to the door.

After we left the Inn our first stop was a shop not far from there.
On the way there, I started exercises at sensing mana inside my body. I relied on the same sensations as when was using Chi in my old world. It was a bit different, but with a high amount of mana, I managed to do that rather quickly. In this world, Chi doesn't even exist, and only mana could be used in its place.
Skill "Mana Perception" learned. Mana Perception - Ability to sense mana. Necessary to cast magic.
After savoring sensation a bit, I got better at sensing it and mana perception raised to level 2. I started to use the techniques of Chi with mana and mana was way more effective in this regard.
I stretched out my hand, released claws, channeled mana to reinforce the structure of muscles and bones of claws, and hit a stone wall of a building we were passing. There was less resistance than expected and my hand sank up to the wrist. That was unexpected. I quickly pulled out my arm, before anyone noticed and looked at the new message screens.
Skill "Mana Manipulation" learned. Mana Manipulation - Ability to manipulate your mana with the force of will. Necessary to cast magic. Skill "Dragon Claws" learned. Dragon Claws - Innate ability of dragons to reinforce their claws with mana. Uses 30 mana/min to sustain.
I decided to temporarily stop with my activity, as we were almost at our destination. It was time to get stuff I marked as number one priority - underwears!
