What a nice room! This was the thought I had when I had first arrived at my room in the dorm building at the royal magic academy.
It’s been eight days since I saw my Big Sis. I miss her already. *Sobs*
No! I must be strong! I will become rich! And powerful. Therefore, I must do my best here! So, I can buy sister nice clothes and a big house! Ah, maybe Kyle too. I wonder when they’ll get married.
Ah, my roommate has arrived. Time to put up a good impression.
“Hello, my name is Alex. Nice to meet you.” ‘Smile Alex, smile. Be humble.’
Oh, he left. Umm…what to do…
Man, he was wearing pretty nice-looking clothes. I wonder how many gold coins they’d cost. Maybe he’s one of them nobles.

The bed looks real soft, let’s test it out! Ah……pure bliss…

Oh, he’s back. Well, let’s try again, can’t hurt.
“Hi, like I said before, my name is Alex. Nice to meet you! I wonder if we’ll be in the same class.”
Ah! Let’s talk to him about home, maybe we can become closer. He might tell me about his, too!

Oh, he yelled! It’s a start. Haha.
“You won’t stop if I don’t reply right…Michael…name’s Michael. Now be quiet and leave me alone.”
Hmm, I guess that’s good progress. Time to quit while I’m ahead. Sis did teach me to be nice to others, hehe.

Big Sis and Kyle moved the capital. It’s awesome! I can see her every week. Kyle seems to have found a job already. How reliable. I want to be like Kyle one day.

Big Sis just laughed. Said I’m too young and to wait till I get older. Didn’t say how old though! She’s only seventeen and already married. Maybe Amelia will marry me when I turn seventeen. Hehehe. A man can daydream.

Amelia pulled me away. She called me a dummy. But she was laughing. So, I don’t think she really meant it. Even Michael looked at me funny.
I wonder why, I just wanted to stay with Big Sis and Kyle a bit longer.

Remy was the best thief this side of old Boston. Well, he used to be the best. Now, Remy's nothing but a washed up con-man turned private investigator who owes a lot of money to the wrong people. Taking one last job to scrap together enough money to get out of town, he finds himself ensnared in schemes well over his paygrade. To save his own skin, he'll need use skills long gone to rust, old acquaintances who'd just as soon see him dead as succeed, and more than a bit of luck. Ghosts Within takes place in a semi post-apocalyptic world where the lines between technology and magic are blurred and scattered cities are the last refuge of civilization. Essentially, it's Blade Runner + Ocean's 11 with the magic system from Bioshock.

There's no man in town as admired as him, he's everyone's favorite guy! Everyone's awed and inspired by him and it's not very hard to see why: No one's slick as Gaston. No one's quick as Gaston. No one's neck's as incredibly thick as Gaston For there's no man in town half as manly! (perfect, a pure paragon) Ask any Tom, Dick or Stanley, and they'll tell you whose team they prefer to be on! Who plays darts like Gaston? Who breaks hearts like Gaston? Who’s much more than the sum of his parts like Gaston? As a specimen, yes, he’s intimidating; my, what a guy, that Gaston! He doesn’t need encouragement, you boneheaded fools. The only ones who need encouragement is you! (Was that too much? I say no.) No one fights like Gaston, douses lights like Gaston. In a wrestling match nobody bites like Gaston! When he hunts, he sneaks up with his quiver – beasts of the field say a prayer! First he carefully aims for the liver… then he shoots from behind! Is that fair? He doesn’t care. No one hits like Gaston, matches wits like Gaston. In a spitting match nobody spits like Gaston. (He’s especially good at expectorating!) Ten points for Gaston! When he was a lad he ate four dozen eggs every morning to help him get large. And now that he’s grown he eats five dozen eggs, so he’s roughly the size of a barge! Who has brains? Entertains? Who can make up these endless refrains like Gaston? (He uses antlers in all of his decorating!) Say it again: Who’s a man amongst men? Who’s a super success? Don’t you know? Can’t you guess? Ask his fans and his end(less) hangers-on! There’s just one guy in town who’s got all of it down! And his name’s G-A-S-T-O-N GASTON!

These fighters call themselves the “Wolves of Haven”, and strive to create a world where demons no longer roam their lands! Though Noah Hearts is an exceptional swordfighter for a young man, his total inability to use aura means he could never hope to defeat the demons! Despite this major setback, he still hopes to become the king of Kissen and create a better world for those in his country! As he walks home from his daily training, his world is shifted upside down when he sees a few familiar faces in his home… This is the first draft of what I want to be a 9 volume series. I'll be editing, rewriting, and releasing the volumes on Amazon once they're finished. I'll admit, I'm finishing chapters in sprints because I want to participate in the writathon (Apr. 2022) so I apologize if there are some issues with the prose. Point them out to me and I'll fix them! Anyway, I have no backlog, but I plan on uploading chapters as I finish them. I don't want to spend weeks re-editing and never publishing like I used to, so I'm just gonna post when it's done. Like I said, this story is my take on a mix between solo leveling and chainsaw man. Specifically, the MC is the only one that can consciously level up (sort of), and the plot is fast paced and emotional just like chainsaw man. There are plenty of other inspirations, like HxH, Jojo, JJK, Cradle, and even FF6, but the first two are the biggest. Basically, if you don't like Shounen stuff, this probably isn't the story for you. Regardless, I hope you all like the story!

An epic that will see the heroes travel the entire world of Earthena to reach their goal, with the intention of building upon a rich and dynamic world of mystery and war. NOTE: This is gonna be my first Draft of this story. Any feedback will be appreciated. Grammer hopefully won't be too much of an issue compared to Goddess Chosen given that this one is more recent, but... Just give you guys a heads up. This story is ongoing.
