《The Hunter》Chapter 10

“Big Sis, you look really beautiful!” Alex beamed at his nervous sister as he led her towards the church entrance.
Vanessa was wearing a new white dress that she’d bought cheaply from a local tailor. She was still a bit jittery but tried hard to calm herself as she entered the small church.
Amelia looked at her with a big grin followed by Susanne’s shy peeks. The noble boy, Michael, assumed an air of indifference as he looked straight forward. She still wondered why he came today.
It was her second time meeting Alex’s roommate and he seemed far too prideful to treat people like her as friends.
Her beloved was waiting on the alter, standing before the priest. He had a warm and calming smile as he looked at her.
Vanessa felt that everything would be alright if they were together. Her steps became lighter and her nervousness went away instantly.
The ceremony went without a hitch and they had dinner at a nice restaurant. Vanessa enjoyed the gazes she received from the surroundings as she walked on the streets in her white dress.
“Alex, let’s go back!” Amelia chimed in as the group arrived outside the couple’s home. Susie had left with her soldier guards to her father’s house earlier. Michael just followed silently in the back, although he was still polite enough to offer a word of congratulations.
“Hmm, why? It’s still early?”
“Alex, you dummy! Just come!” Alex hurriedly bid goodbye to Vanessa and Kyle, still with a puzzled expression, as he was pulled away by Amelia.
After watching the trio of children go away with their guards in tow, Kyle turned around and lifted Vanessa with a princess carry.
“Kyaaa!”
“Well, my wife, now that we have some alone time. Hehe.”

“W-what are you going to do?”
Vanessa hid her face in Kyle’s chest as she allowed him to carry her up to the house. She had of course heard about various gossip when she was listening to the housewives talks. She knew what was going to happen. She was a little afraid and looking forward to it at the same time. Since it meant that she’d truly be his, and he, hers.
Kyle smirked as he looked down at the simple beauty in his arms. He had never been married. He has had a few relationships but they were truly only for mutual benefit. He thought this was a fresh experience.
‘I wonder if a human can give birth by doing it with a god…’
‘Well, I guess we’ll find out soon enough.’ Kyle laughed with a wicked grin as he leaned in and kissed her on the forehead.
“Wife. Would you like to take a bath together first?”
“A-Ah…”
Kyle proceeded to enter the bathroom with his newly-wed.
Soon, sounds of water splashing and laughter could be heard. After cleaning up, Kyle once more, carried Vanessa, wrapped in a towel, upstairs to their bedroom.
He gently laid her on the bed. Kyle only had a towel on his lower body. His muscles distinct on his tall yet thin frame. Vanessa hid her face with her hands as Kyle came up next to her.
“Wife…”
Kyle slowly undid her towel, leaving her vulnerable and defenceless. Kyle took her hands away from her face and deeply kissed.
Vanessa was unresponsive at the start but soon got into the mood, releasing sensual moans, signalling the start of their lovemaking.

Vanessa woke up a little later than normal. A sharp pain down below caused her to wince.
Her gaze drifted over to her beloved, as she lay inside his thin yet strong arms. Her face forming a small smile as she studied his facial features.

She couldn’t help but lean in for a quick kiss onto his inviting lips. The act seemingly woke him up as he opened his eyes and met her gaze.
The two stared at each other in silence, until Kyle smiled. “Good morning my love.”
“Good morning dear.” Vanessa felt something hot and hard down below shift as Kyle moved closer, pasting her small body tightly against his. As the two did not have a speck of clothing under the blanket, Vanessa felt every part of Kyle that was touching her vividly. Unknowingly, a certain part of her body started to feel moist.
A blush formed on her face as she remembered their act last night. She wanted to hide herself in a hole remembering her embarrassing behaviour.
Kyle, seemingly reading her thoughts, whispered in her ear.
“How are you feeling my love? The first time can be painful for most women. Here, let me ease the pain.”
Kyle’s big and strong hand slipped under the blanket and approached her secret spot. Vanessa squealed and closed her legs tightly but was unable to stop him.
A faint cool feeling enveloped the area where Kyle’s hand touched. Vanessa’s eyes widened in surprise. She felt that the soreness had gone away completely.
“Feel better, my love?”
“Y-yeah…dear…what did you just do?”
“I will tell you……right after we do some exercise!!”
“Kyyaaa!!”
Kyle pressed Vanessa under his body and caressed her still developing mounds. Vanessa was flustered by his abrupt actions but made no real attempt to resist.
Soon, the two started their morning ‘exercise’.
***
“Dear…”
“What is it my love?”
Vanessa’s face was still flushed from the afterglow as she tried to ignore Kyle’s roaming hands. She could not believe how vigorous and healthy ‘little Kyle’ was. From the gossip she’d heard from the local housewives, most men would be spent after one round. Yet, little Kyle had not retreated, still firmly inside her, even as she tried her best to stop Kyle from moving.
“What were you going to tell me earlier?”
“Ah.”
“Umm.”
“I forgot?”
“D.e.a.r.?”
“Hahaha, joking joking.”
“And stop moving! I need a rest! Hmph.” Pretending to be angry, Vanessa slapped Kyle’s hands away.
Kyle immediately resumed his act ignoring his wife’s fake anger. It was rather funny to him, looking at their current posture and the fact that they were still ‘connected’.
“Well, wife. It would be easier to show you.”
“Hmm? Show me what?”
Kyle didn’t reply and moved his forehead against the girl’s.
Vanessa only looked at him with confusion.
“Here goes……”
As soon as she had heard it, a torrent of foreign memories invaded her mind as she struggled to keep awake. She could not resist for long as she fell unconscious.
Kyle looked at the simple beauty in his arms with a complicated gaze.
“I wonder what she’ll think of me. Well, better now than later.” Seemingly talking to no one in particular. In fact, Kyle had noticed that changes that had taken in her body after taking in his ‘seed’. He could only advance his plan to reveal his identity since he could not foresee the effects he’d have on a human woman.

Tales of Ordinary, Completely Unremarkable Contractors
"Where life had no value, death, sometimes, had its price. That is why the mercenaries appeared." - Artur Xerxes, in A Century of Disappointment: Memoirs of a Travelling Dwarf It's never too difficult to land contracts for a set very specialised skills in a continent teeming with werewolves, vampires, giant leopards, undead and, god forbid, elves. The difficulty comes when these contractors find themselves suffocated in the dense atmosphere of this world's rigid - and mostly unfair - rules; death, suffering and misfortune await those unwilling to sacrifice to bend these in their favour. In this non-linear plot, you will observe a scarred and deformed farm girl cashing her first bounty posters, a seemingly ordinary barmaid at a tavern in the bustling centre of a sprawling, corrupt city and an enigmatic leader of a firm specialising in dealings any other would consider suicidal. Watch them all take everything to the next level at every available opportunity, and then feel dread at the thought that this still might not be enough to halt the physical embodiment of doom about to do what it does best Please, feel free to review and comment! Any sort of feedback can help me become a better writer and write more engaging stories for you. I used to update once every 3-5 days, but this rewrite is taking much too long...I do hope it will be worth it.

Author here (: This is my first time posting any of my works online, and I hope that you enjoy being welcomed into my world, as much as I enjoy creating it for you! I welcome any and all criticism, so long as it is actually something that can benefit my writing (not just random hating and nothing substantial). This story is edited by Nesryn and ArtemisArrow, my dear friends! The cover of this book is not my property, and if you are the actual owner of the image and would like me to take it down please PM me (: I am posting this to see if it generates any interest. If it does, then I will be planning on making more regular posts for chapters. I am intending this to be one book of a series, titled The Lost Royal. I intend to post, at this point, one chapter a week unless I get onto a roll! If this starts to accrue enough interest where I can start focusing solely on writing then more chapters will be released per week. Thanks for your interest, and I hope you enjoy!
