Author's note: Please tell me if I should write the whole lecture or skip to the necessary part of it. It's not really important enough to make a thread for it. It's mainly here to set up the material he learns in the lessons.

I wake up yawning. The sun is sitting on the horizon, just past dawn's breaking point. The puppies feel me stirring and wake up too. I barely remember what the old man told me last night. Who knew that being among bipedals would be so tiring. Animals aren't nearly as bad as bipedals. Hmm, Garet and Jacobs were okay. Garet is funny and Jacobs was quiet. I'm not sure what to think of Couper though. Shela and Linsley were scary, but maybe I just need to get use to them. Hmm, yeah, living here until I can find mother won't be too bad.
I nod to myself and scoop up the puppies. I really need to go to the bathroom and they probably do to. I open the window and jump out of it. Once I land I walk into the forest a bit and do my business. The puppies do theirs. Once we're all done a pick up the puppies and walk back to the house. ...I can't climb back into my room if I'm going to carry the puppies... I'll just have to go throught the front door. ...it won't open. The old man isn't awake yet, so he can't open it for me...
Oh well, I'll just wait until he wakes up. I decide to play with the puppies until then. We play tag, and to make it more fair I'm on all fours but can only use my hands to move. Haha, this is fun. The puppies can't catch me. Ah, they've teamed up and are coming at me from both sides. Hahaha, you can't catch me.

The old man woke up and let us back into the house. He tells me to get washed up in the bathroom, so me and the puppies take a bath while he makes breakfast. It's eggs and bacon. Bacon is almost as good as magic beast meat. Mmm, as always meat is best! Except...that dessert stuff was good. As good if not better than meat. It wouldn't make a good meal, but it is delicious. I finish eating the food in front of me. The old man put a plate on the floor for the puppies. They don't get cooked bacon, instead they just get a slab of some other meat, and a cooked egg.
"Chaise are you ready for your lessons? Do you need me to retell you of what your schedule is?"
"No I remember."
"Good. In that case I'll begin the lesson. As you know their are six races considered to be 'people'. They are: humans, fey, dwarfs, beast men, merfolk, and demons. There are sub races for each one. Half breeds aren't counted as sub races. The most common type for each race, or sub race, isn't referred to as a sub race they just use the name of the whole race.
Humans sub races are extremely rare, the only known example was called a high human. There use to be more of them, but they died out. No one knows why. It's actually a rather interesting field of research. It's believed that ancient dungeons were made by them. Generally humans are pretty average in their abilities. They are a jack of all trades if you will. They have surprising potential for learning, but most of the population is rather weak compared to the average of all the other races. They are the most war inclined race.

The fey have sub races within sub races. The most common sub race are the elves. Their sub races are rare and generally stay in villages together. They are: high elves, dark elves, moon elves, blood elves, and shoe elves. Of them only dark elves are ever really seen, their population is about half of the common elves', which is already fairly small. Moon elves randomly appear among common elves, a latent bloodline. Blood elves are comparable to the monster vampires. Shoe elves are about as big as the fingernail on your pinkie. Elves live fairly long lives. They age at 1.5 times our rate until they reach the human equivalent of twenty years old
The next sub for the fey is the fairies they are rare because they only live halfway in this world. They basically live in a separate world connected to ours. They are free to come and leave as they please, but every once in awhile they are forced into our world for a night. Their sub races are pixies, brownies, and royalty. Pixies are jerks, brownies love playing tricks, and the royalty are human sized or bigger. All of the fairies besides royalty are about between one and two inches long. No one knows how long they live, expect them.-"
"Old man how long is this going to take?"
"A long time. I'm trying to be thorough, but this is just a summary. I'll tell you this until you can repeat it back to me. When you can do that we'll move on the the specifics of each race and sub race."
I frown with my mouth open, my ears are flat, and I have a stupid look on my face.
"I know that it's annoying to listen to this much pure information, but some people devote their lives to learning more about each sub race. You're lucky, most people don't get to learn much about this."
"So in other words it's unnecessary?"
"You don't even know what's considered common sense. We have to start with these because you know next to nothing about the most common races, so shut up and listen. You don't know where you'll have to go to find your mother so this will be useful to you. How about this, after I think you've learned enough about the races and history I'll start teaching you about the different types of animals, monsters, and magic beast, plus geography. If you know enough about those things you'll be able to better guess where your mother is. The world is large after all."
"Okay, I'll listen.

Time, and Time Again.
A dying game developer suffering from crippling depression decides to save himself from his own fate, and in turn, open a path for a new, more worthwhile life within the game. Within the game world, he'll have to avoid being 'flagged' by the game world's emotionless AI, befriend the players, escape NPC power struggles, and survive countless near-death experiences...All while forging himself into a new person. -------------- Time, and time again features a weak-to-strong MC who will eventually obtain nearly godlike strength, a heavy dose of character development, moderate LITRPG elements, and a whole lotta' adventure. The story is mainly focused around the MC but contains recurring side characters, mysterious and powerful figures, handfuls of intrigue, and well thought out action plots. Thanks for reading! -PyritePlunder
8 99Last Man
Nikodemus is the Last Man on a planet that resembles earth. He spends his days being hauled from female tribe-to-female tribe, as they fight over him in an effort to preserve the human race. All female tribes worth their salt have at least one mutant at beck-and-call, who are the smartest creatures on the planet and are used to program robots who assist in capturing the Last Man. The tribes aren't the only thing to fear in the desert; there are also viscous scorpion creatures lurking out on the sands. Perhaps the only thing more deadly then then the demons living in the Wasteland, are the demons living inside Nikodemus. Can he fight them off and see the worth in humanity after experiencing the worst of it for all forty-five years of his life?
8 111There's a Beauty: Seer of Deception
Money and Power, Beauty and Honor. In a place where strength was everything and magic ruled the world; a child was born useless with nothing of these four words. "She's ugly!" "She's weak!" When everyone looks in disdain and ridicule, no one expects that a frail, disfigured girl can survive until the end.
8 83Medley of Fates Worse than Death
Rick wakes up in a world unknown to him. He doesn't know what exactly happened or why he is there, he just feels he's not from that world as if he had Dissociative amnesia. Soon after waking up, he gets attacked not once, not twice but three times in a single day. Our hero can know how strong enemies are thanks to a special ability of his, but the thing is... What good does it do to know just how weak you are compared to a deadly creature chasing you? This is a LitRPG Fantasy Adventure in which battles are won (or lost) with strategy and wits as our protagonists aren't necessarily the strongest... So if you enjoy more strategic battles I think you will love this story!About the chapters: I will post mostly 1,300 or so word chapters, I love weekly manga and feel like that pacing is similar to the one in a weekly serial chapter, hopefully, you enjoy these chunk-sized chapters :) I only do this for fun in my free time so I think I will probably post a chapter a week, but if my patreon ever gets busy I might put more time into my hobby xD If you feel like checking out some of the newest chapters, I have them over on my Patreon (Currently 5 chapters in advance): www.patreon.com/rija Extra info (Might get spoilery): As the story progresses I intend to add more strategy, politics and economics into the story, but it will still be mostly a LitRpg action-adventure. (Also if you had read my synopsis previously I changed it a bit because the elements I mentioned before in the synopsis won't come into play until much later into the story, and that's why I changed it.)
8 139Where am I?
An interactive story where the readers guide a man who awakens in a dark room with no memory. While I have a world and a background, what happens with the MC will be decided by the actions the players decide he will take, presented as choices per chapter. The tags will change with time, depending on actions taken. But there will be magic and and exploration as a part of the nature of the story.Anything else... would be spoilers.
8 128Questing Sucks!
Sehn is an Elf, but he's not like the others: he's rude, vicious, and all around nasty. His only wish is to conquer the world and enslave its population. Yet to his shame, he learns he must be the one to save it.
