《How to get lost: a wanderers guide》We got lost

Hello again. I feel kind of silly.

I have no idea where we are. On a boat clearly. On the seas too. Ok so I suppose I do know exactly where we are. What I don't know is where anything else is. Captain Chapmans ship, Bloodwake kingdom, just land in general. Not a clue.

Well, worrying about it won't help I suppose.

So I spent the day lazing about on deck, fishing pole in hand and enjoying the sunshine and calm waters. The cooling and relaxing wind carrying the sound of romping and playing to my ears. Julius and Lena had asked for some toys so I took out the treasure chests for them.

They've been playing pirate kings ever since. Both trying to loot the other while simultaneously protecting their own loot. Heaps of gold coins and gems litter the deck. The occasional crown or jewel encrusted sword lying here and there. Lena is wearing so many tiaras rings and necklaces she can hardly walk. Julius is content to simply make a burrow in a pile of gold.

I hope it isn't hard to get melted gold off of a wooden deck.

Lena likes to sneak tendrils of water over the side of the deck to snatch some of Julius' treasure while using a big sphere of water to suround and protect her own. Julius uses his speed and rockets from one of his burrows many exits to streak through her defenses and snatch up some treasure. He attacks her tendrils with fireballs to stop them from snatching his own treasure.

It was a stalemate for hours until Lena just couldn't keep up her defenses any more. I guess she exhausted her tingles.

Julius is older and with the glowfruits he has eaten his stamina is way higher than Lenas. So he wins.

I had made lunch though so they called it before he took all of her treasure. Lena watched Julius nibble some firemoss with her little nose wrinkling. Presumably remembering how it tastes. She chomped her way through a fish about her size. Playing is hungry work it seems.

No seamonsters attacked today.

We just let the winds and currents carry us where they will. It is very relaxing.

As the little ones play each other into a early nights sleep I practice my sailing and fishing skills.

If all my day are like this I will be a happy man indeed.

One thing of unusual nature did occur though.

We found a glass bottle with a note and a map inside of it. The note simply says "HELP" and the map is a seachart showing a island. No idea how this is supposed to be of any help to me but I suppose it is no problem keeping the chart and bottle.

I wonder who sent it to me?

Goodnight.
