After putting down some formations, Heifeng Jiansui was satisfied. Before beginning the training, he decided to think over some things about Tianxin’s training.

Heifeng Jiansui mentally went over the characteristics that Tianxin had shown during their earlier training, while thinking of a staff technique suited to her. She was light and quite small in size, and her bloodline was suited to light and fire.

Quite a few techniques appeared in his mind, but most of them were paired with breathing techniques. Heifeng Jiansui had carefully observed her during their previous training, and she didn’t appear to breath at all. The most basic principle of martial arts is the breath. It can be used to gain insight into the Dao and attain immortality!

Baifeng Tianxue didn’t seem to possess a nose, instead having two button-like beads where it should be. This was due to her nostrils having been squeezed shut. While it seemed cute, it was still a factor barring her from cultivation…

The flame was like a Sun and contained the perfect fusion of light and fire, blinding and burning all. The aura surrounding her fused with the staff, and he was bombarded with numerous fire attacks!

The grass surrounding her had already suffered extermination from the flame. Unfortunately, it could do nothing to Heifeng Jiansui who was a Phoenix as well!

All this while, Heifeng Jiansui had used every step of the foundation staff moves to counter her. She had consequently built a firm foundation in them as well. Swing, strike, guard and parry——— These four moves were repeated again and again in endless variations of combinations until they became a part of her muscle memory.

Suddenly, a sensation of freezing cold appeared as the white fire turned into ice. The unused power of ice unconsciously arose from Tianxin's sleeping body, fusing into the white fire to transform it! Heifeng Jiansui could see myriad runes under that transformed white fire. The white fire slowly grew, and the small characters formed into larger characters. Finally, a visible script was formed when the white fire that was previously a simple aura turned into a 7 foot domain!
