Meanwhile, Heifeng Jiansui also called on the power of the world. As a scion of the Black Phoenix and the heir to the throne, Heifeng Jiansui could gather some of the power of the Black Phoenix Great World. The energies of chaos and the world effortlessly fused together on the blade of his sword.

Heifeng Jiansui’s aura of a mortal disappeared. Instead the aura of the world and chaos gathered together on him to form a pressure that was equal to the descending Dragon!

“Hmph, so you were simply hiding your aura. Since I am feeling merciful, I’ll let you keep your little life!” Saying this, the golden dragon decisively turned away.

As expected, the dragon was only someone who bullied the weak and feared the strong. If it were any other time, Heifeng Jiansui would have allowed its retreat. However, his beloved sword Nineprime which slaughtered gods and immortals in the past was beside him. If he ran from a single puny dragon, what would it think of him?

Seeing the fleeing dragon, Heifeng Jiansui simply smirked as grey chaotic swordlight gathered on Nineprime. This blow didn’t simply have the power of the surrounding world, but also something that was the foundation of the sword: the Swordworld comprehended by Heifeng Jiansui in his past life!

Understanding that she was being mocked, the dragon’s fury soared to the heavens. Instead of using her energy to regenerate her wings, she instead focused power on descending to the earth. With her own strength, she would smite the chicken into meat paste!

At the falling calamity that would shatter the Ninebless Island, Heifeng Jiansui didn’t hold back. Black phoenix wings appeared on his back and he shot into the sky!

The shallow cuts weren’t due to the deficiency of power. In truth, the chaos energy gathered by Heifeng Jiansui could slash through the dragon with a single killing technique. The battle until now was all for manipulating the dragon according to his whims, so that the killing technique would strike true!

“Forcing me to use the Coiling Dragon Art… I will certainly kill you and exterminate your bloodline for sure!” With multiplied strength, the dragon tail struck the small figure of her hated enemy, who casually descended to a lower position in the sky, dodging the blow!

Seeing this, the dragon roared in laughter. Even if the man didn’t have to worry about his life, he would certainly care about his loved ones living within the island!

The power of the Black Phoenix burst out from Heifeng Jiansui’s body, causing black feathery wings to appear on his back and razor sharp talons to replace his fists. If needed, he could do a more complete transformation, discarding all semblance of humanity but it was not necessary now.

Like darkness shadowing light, Heifeng Jiansui flew at the sealed dragon. His sharp eyes located the mythical weakness of dragonkin, the reverse scale and talons dug into the beast’s neck, lightly stroking it.

Knowing that he could tear out that dragon scale in a blink and end its life without any chance of retaliation, fear filled the dragon’s crystalline yellow eyes.

“So, some fat lizard was roaring about exterminating my lineage… I wonder how I should respond?” Heifeng Jiansui’s casual words struck the Dragon’s heart. It suddenly began regretting its arrogance in attacking this phoenix.

“So then, tell me how I should respond? Should I tear out the dragon scale, should I tear out the draconic core, should I tear out the heart…” Heifeng Jiansui looked the great dragon in the eyes as he said this, increasing the fear felt by her with every new threat of dismemberment.

Suddenly, the dragon looked Heifeng Jiansui in the eyes. Seeing the phoenix who preferred human form, a desperate idea came to mind.
