Thorin was jerked awake by a slap to the face. His head was throbbing and he was having trouble thinking. He was up against a tree in the woods with his arms tied up behind him. Tim was standing in front of him showing off a smile full of holes.
“Rise and shine princess” Tim yelled as Roland grabbed Thorin's shoulders and lifting him to his feet.
“Wait what?” Thorin said quite out of it. As he finished saying this he felt another slap hit him in the face.
“Don’t talk, don't move, and don’t scream. It’s simple, otherwise we’ll just knock you out again and this time permanently.” Tim said scowling at Thorin.
Thorin woken up now by the second slap realized his situation. He remained quiet and just glared at Tim.
“Alright good, now grab that shove there and start digging a hole.” Tim said throwing a shovel at Thorin's feet.
“Make it a gud one, it'll be your new home.” Roland said with glee in his voice.
Roland then reached around Thorin and cut his bonds. He then prodded Thorin’s back with his sword.
“Don’t try anything kid or Roland will gut you like a fish.” Tim said while nodding to Roland.
Thorin slowly bent down and picked up the shovel and started to dig. While doing this though he was think of a way to get out of this. He was ready to kill both of them at this point. I mean how dare they force him to dig his own grave. Not only were they evil enough to kill him after he help them, but they were also lazy enough to not want to bury him themselves. He felt furious. He wanted to kill both of these men so bad. He was also angry at himself for letting this all happen. That he was so blind and trusting of these two strangers. Thorin let this anger stew inside him as he continued to dig think of some way to kill these two robbers.
He could sense that the skeleton continued to follow them at a distance while he was unconscious and could be commanded to help. The thing was that it was a pretty weak fighter. It wouldn't be able to fight either of his enemies by itself. Thorin didn’t even feel too good about his chances against one of them either. These thoughts dispelled some of Thorin's anger as he realized he couldn’t do anything.
‘Shit I don't want to die yet so far I haven't even done anything’ Thorin thought as he continued to dig.
While his blood lust was pushed down by his survival instincts, he got even angry at himself for being so powerless. For not being able to kill both of these men like the vermin they are.
‘I’ll just have to wait for an opportunity.’ He thought while taking his frustrations out at the ground beneath him.
Nothing came to him though as he continued to dig. Roland just stood there and continued to watch him with his sword out. Tim left to go watch the wagon while he was digging leaving the two of them alone.

‘Maybe I can trick him, he is pretty dumb.’ Thorin thought as he opened his mouth ready to speak.
“Shut it” Roland said swiftly while jabbing him in the back again.
‘I guess not’ Thorin thought as he got back to work digging.
After an hour Thorin had dug a pretty large hole and Roland decided it was deep enough.
Thorin was about to lash out thinking Roland would kill him as soon as he finished.
“Leave the shovel come with me” Roland commanded.
Realizing he wasn't going to die right now Thorin stopped and dropped his shovel.
They walked back to the wagon where Tim was waiting.
“Finally you're done this bastard was stinking up the place.” Tim said impatiently.
“Pick up the body and bring it back to the hole you graciously dug for us.” Tim commanded.
He voice irked Thorin and made the temptation to lash out against this smirking idiot grow larger. Only the blade pressed against his back stopped him from doing so.
Seeing no other choice, Thorin grabbed the body and started to drag it into the woods. His ever present guard, followed from behind with his sword still.
‘Shit they're going to kill me as soon as I get back to the grave.’ Thorin realized.
Having no other choice he commanded the skeleton to come and ambush Roland.
‘I’ll pull out my dagger and hit his sword away while the skeleton sneaks up and stabs him in the back.’
Soon they were back at the hole, but his skeleton wasn’t in position yet.
“Wait before you kill me let me pray for a minute so I can go to heaven.” Thorin said scrambling to delay his death.
Roland chuckled at Thorin's antics.
“Might as well, tink of it as a reward for helpin wit the wagon” Roland said feeling like being generous.
Thorin got down on both knees and pretended to pray. In reality though he was keeping track of his skeleton’s movement waiting for the time to strike.
Slowly, Thorin pretending to be at peace with his death and turned around. Facing Roland he told him “I am ready please make this quick”.
Thorin put his hands behind his back and summoned his dagger.
Roland serious now, pulled back his sword to swing down cutting off Thorin’s head. Just as the blade was halfway through its swing, he ducked down and lunged forward cutting Roland's arm. At the same time his skeleton came up from behind and stabbed Roland in the back. It cut deep but didn’t penetrate deep enough to cause a fatal wound.
Initially, Roland was surprised by seeing a skeleton, and cried out in pain due to the wounds. He quickly regained his composure though, and lashed out behind him with a fist hitting the skeleton away. Thorin felt some of his mana drain way as the skeleton repaired its broken ribs and ran back to Roland.
With the skeleton holding Roland's attention, Thorin moved away and started to cast his spell on the merchant’s corpse. It only took a couple of seconds but in that time Roland was able to cut off one of the skeletons arms.

Thorin quickly order his new minion to attack and ran over to help himself. Together Thorin and his two skeletons were able to overwhelm Roland. Using the two skeletons as a shield he threw himself at Roland and cut his throat.
Just like that the big oaf found himself dead for a moment until Thorin cast his spell again making his skeleton stand back up.
The battle only lasted a minute, but to Thorin it felt like an eternity. He took a second to catch his breath and let his skeletons pick up their various body parts scattered around.
He looked up to find a pale Tim at a couple feet away looking at him. Looking at the man Thorin’s bloodlust returned and commanded the skeletons to capture the man. He tried to run away, but it is pointless to run away from something that can't get tired. Eventually the skeletons caught him and dragged him back to Thorin who was eating some rations and looking at his status screen.
He had managed to level up twice due to killing Roland. He went on to assign his 10 status points.
‘Three to strength, two to stamina, two to intelligence, three to will power’.
“You're an evil necromancer, go die you demon.” Tim yelled while struggling.
“Shut up you bastard.” Thorin reached out and smacked him the face at full force.
Now that Thorin had fourteen points in strength he was able to do quite a bit of damage with a simple slap. One of Tim’s remaining teeth flew out of his mouth with a splash of blood.
“I need you to answers some question then we're done here okay.” Thorin said grinning at Tim.
Tim just spat blood out at Thorin's face. Thorin’s rage took over at this moment and he reached out stabbing Tim in the thigh. Tim screamed out and started to squirm around in pain.
“Please continue to refuse to answer I have some anger I’d like to work through right now.” Thorin said while wiping the blood of his face.
“Where is the nearest town?” Thorin asked as he pulled the dagger out.
“It’s another two day down the road.” Tim said with all of the defiance gone in his eyes.
“Good now tell me about where we are right now and the situation of the world.” Thorin commanded holding the dagger up against Tim’s throat.
Tim began to speak about everything he knew about the local area, and the kingdom they were in.
Apparently, Thorin was currently in the Astroth kingdom. It was the least popular kingdom whose biggest trade was slaves and alcoholic beverages. The King was disliked by the commoners due to the corruption he allowed to go on throughout the levels of nobles. He reigned through force and fear. The country was run down and full of thieves and bandits. This news deeply disturbed Thorin who hoped for more.
Eventually Tim ran out of things to say and was just wasting time so Thorin slit his throat and raised him as another skeleton. He gained another level this time adding two more points to strength, one to vitality and two to dexterity.
Happy with his growth Thorin realized that there was still a wagon full of loot for him to go through.
He walked back to the road with his entourage of four skeletons and started to go through the wagon's cargo. He found looked through all of the boxes and found a decent amount of weapons and even a couple sets of leather armor.
Taking a decent short sword and a set of armor he ordered each of the skeletons to grab a weapon. The goblins skeleton quickly reached up and grabbed two of the shiniest daggers it could find and started to admire them. Roland’s larger Skelton reached out and grabbed a large battle axe from the back and hefted it onto its back. The other two just reached out and took a basic sword like Thorin did.
Once they finished picking out their new gear Thorin willed the entire wagon into his dimensional space for later. He then looked around and found a good space to make camp. He had had enough excitement for one day and need to take a break. Now that he knew a town was only two days away he was in no rush to get there and wanted to prepare a bit.
He stayed there for the next couple of days training his body and his skeletons.
He started his day out by jogging a couple of miles in the morning to increase his agility and stamina. Then he would teach the skeletons how to dodge and block attacks, while coming up with feints and other fighting tricks. This actually helped increase his dexterity a bit and strength. Then he would spend an hour or two looking into the magic found in the skeletons spell and try experimenting. He found out that by adding more mana to the skeleton it perform better. Unfortunately during this experiment process he destroyed the merchant’s skeleton by adding to more mana than it could handle. By continually tinkering with the spell got a pleasant surprise.

Summon Skeleton E-D:
Skeletons are now stronger and more intellegent. By over amping them mana skeletons can become stronger for a short period of time.
He could visibly see a difference in the skeletons movements and learning speed. He had them fight against each other in order for them to grow and taught them lessons and created strategies on how to fight together. Now they seemed to have a slight intelligence and were able to comprehend more than basic orders.
Only after doing all of this did Thorin feel comfortable enough to move again. Never again would Thorin feel so helpless due to his own weakness.

8 68A Collection of Tales
This is or rather will become a collection of short stories set in the worlds of The Misplaced Dungeon and Unexpected Consequences as I am finding it difficult to avoid including some amusing ideas that would sidetrack those stories. And now also include stories from the world of And Dungeon Makes Three. Unless otherwise stated these stories happen in the background and are here because they seem to want to get out. Updating will be irregular.
