《A Girl's, Unusual Existence》* Chapter 12.2 – Peaches

Several weeks later, Instructor Goro dismisses the young miss, who is swiftly led away by Sada, the pretty maid. Instructor Goro eyes the round behind of the maid as she sashays away, and his groins tightened in lust.
Many kinds of beauties lived among the mansion, and unlike the ones he can find from the streets, the beauties will have to be learned and have elegance to represent servants of a powerful Lord. Although not as eye catching as the madams of the household, finding suitors will still not pose a problem. The resources of Min family have even allowed for the nurturing of a few [Spirit Realm] practitioners. However, before he can become too distracted by one of the most beautiful maids, Instructor Goro refocused his mind back to the task at hand.
Clearing his mind and body of such lustful thoughts, Instructor Goro purposefully marches towards the master’s quarters. He easily enters the main quarters and sits down to wait. Before long, a maid appears and leads Instructor Goro further into the private quarters of Lord Min Hee.
Instructor Goro clasped his hands and knerled towards Lord Min Hee who sat before him with a dominating presence, shuffling between documents before placing them to the side. A gesture from Lord Min Hee was given, and Instructor Goro swiftly returns to his feet. With reluctance, Instructor Goro states the grave news. “Lord Min Hee, I do not believe I am a terrible teacher, but I can no longer continue in this manner. The young miss has no talent whatsoever for the martial arts, even less for the sword when compared to First Young Mistress. Just today, she almost impaled herself on a spear, and she could barely stand against my blows no matter how much I hold back.”
Instructor Goro grumpily said, but upon seeing a dangerous glint in the Lord’s eyes, he hastily adds, “I am certainly trying my best in guiding her, and she has surprisingly shown decent battle wits at times. But in my humble opinion, the Third Young Mistress is not suitable for cultivating the martial dao. I... I can only apologize for my incompetence, my lord.”

After finishing his (biased) report, Instructor Goro clasps his hands and bows while sweating in silence, not daring to lift his head. The silence continues, causing him greater pressure over time until he almost couldn't bear it any longer. He knows that the rumors and gossips are not completely true. Even so, he can still be punished if he is reported about and judged as going too far in condescending that useless black sheep of the household.
A faint smile appears on Lord Min Hee’s face. “Thank you for your attentiveness, Instructor Goro. You shall be awarded 50 gold coins in stating the truth. I ask that you continue your guidance,” Lord Min Hee lightly said.
Instructor Goro’s face brightens with gratitude and hastily bows in thanks. He also gave high praise for the generosity of Lord Min before quickly leaving. It is obvious that he is very happy about the rewards. In the end, he ultimately forgotten that his report would put the Third Young Miss at a disadvantage, or he probably never cared about such things in the first place.
Behind Instructor Goro, Lord Min Hee remains impassive as a complex emotion appears and just as swiftly disappears from his expression. As if burdened with an unknown emotion, Lord Min Hee disappears from the room.

Laughter fills the air of the Peach Blossom Geisha House. The warm glowing light from the windows makes one forget how it is currently winter. Through the open windows, various beautiful women with attractive appearances can be seen serving and chatting with a breathtakingly handsome figure, a certain violet eyed and haired man.
A petite, young women with charming expression and innocent-like eyes served the man another cup of a fragrant wine. After a moment, she gave a youthful smile and says, “Lord Min, please be patient. Miss Xiu Ying will shortly be with you and attend you soon.”
Lord Min Hee nods as the various women amorously waved goodbye and left the room on their own. He just sits elegantly on some cushions and waits for the promised geisha to visit him. Form the way they behaved, it was evident that he frequented often enough to have some familiarity.

Lord Min Hee simply gazes into stars viewed from the window. After taking a sip or two over the time that he waited, he fluidly places his cup down onto the extravagantly carved table without a single sound. A bit of impatience and deep contemplation can be seen from his expression as he slowly leans back against the wall and closes his eyes for a moment in tiredness.
The scent of amber slowly approaches, subtly hinting at other more pleasurable pursuits of the world. Lord Min Hee’s nose twitches for a moment until the sensation disappears. Even so, a warm fire is slowly lit from within as his eyes displayed a strong emotion.
The door smoothly slides open and closes as a seductively amorous woman with long red, flowing hair enters. Her robes fit closely enough to her body to accentuate the curves and charms of her body, and as she walked, the slit would show her supple, long legs. Her glance was enough to send many men into hypnotic state or frenzy. As she sits down, her generous mounds move and can be seen from the open front of her rather revealing-cream colored robe.
Upon seeing Min Hee’s expression, the woman lets out a bell-like laughter that was pleasant to the ears. Lord Min Hee’s eyes inadvertently are drawn to the sensual, kissable lips when she smiled.
The woman slowly sits down next to him and leans forward. Her mesmerizing eyes narrowed into crescent moon as she teasingly whispers into his ear, “My Lord, I have missed you.”
Lord Min Hee pulls himself away as a charming smile appears on his face. “Xiu Ying, is that so?” He gave a charming smile of his own and teasingly asked in a humorous tone.
Xiu Ying’s honey-colored eyes blink rapidly as a small blush spread across her cheeks. A bell-like laughter soon followed before her gaze landed on the cup on the table. Xiu Ying then pulls herself back and gave a flirtatious pout.
“My Lord, you drank without me? How cruel!” Xiu Ying mournfully said. However, her tone and expression were obviously more flirtatious than sorrowful.
He simply smiled in response and move his hands as though to present the wine and empty cups still on the table. “Would you like to start anew then?”
A slow blush makes its way up Xiu Ying’s face again as she breathlessly says, “I-.” However, before she can continue, a maid enters bearing food and drinks.
The maid trembles for a moment at the scene and mood within the room, but to carry her duties, she quietly moves forward and places the food on the table. Nonetheless, with practiced tactics, Xiu Ying restarts the conversation and quickly continue the flow of the mood within the room. Her charms went emphasizes and appealed by her movements throughout the conversation.
She continues with warm and flirtatious smiles along with sweet words and praises. She even started to pour the rich tea during their talks. Xiu Ying purrs, “My Lord, you are famished.” Reaching over Xiu Ying grabs another bun as she softly murmurs, “Please taste.”
Lord Min Hee smiles faintly as he leans over and says, “Yes.”
With the skill of a practiced lover, Lord Min Hee takes a bite. Xiu Ying feels a faint flutter of emotions that just as quickly disappear. “My Lord, please drink. This is white lotus wine and it is famous for its taste.,” Xiu Ying said as she elegantly poured him a drink and then herself. They briefly toast their wine cups together as their hands reflexively tighten with wariness around the cups. With inhuman elegance, the two down their drinks in a single gulp.
A drop of alcohol drips down Xiu Ying’s lips in seductive fashion. Min Hee stares at her lips for an intense moment and with practiced movements Xiu Ying’s pink tongue licks her lips clean. Xiu Ying blinks innocently as Lord Min Hee smiles back with ease and softly says, “Yes, the wine is quite exquisite.”
Xiu Ying lips curl into a sweet bud of a smile and pours more for the lord. After all, the night was still young and much would transpire before the end.

Beyond the Bridge
There are many worlds, many multiverses, and you can move between them via the Federation's Bridge network - magical gateways to other worlds. The world dubbed "C'thon" by its inhabitants - or Gamma-Theta-Nu-649, if you ask the Federation's bureaucracy - was deserted when the Federation found it. The "civilized" races had all died out centuries prior, and the wilderness had grown downright feral in their absence. Now, the lonely Federation outpost of Bridgetown is under constant threat from the hungry wildlife, malicious fey, territorial goblins, and wandering undead that surround it. The town's distance from the Federation's centers of power means that it gets precious few of the resources that it needs to stay safe and afloat. Enter the Guild of Adventurers, a plucky and disparate crew who do the Federation's dirty work in exchange for coin. One team, the first of many, crosses the Bridge to C'thon looking for fame, fortune, and (if they're lucky) the answer to a newly-discovered Prophecy. They'll get much more than they bargained for, although first they need to avoid being eaten by the local wildlife. Updates weekly on Wednesday. Chapters will be as long as they need to be for them to work, which means they can vary. If anything drops below 2500 words, I'll post an extra chapter if I have one ready. [PS: This is not a litRPG, but I do borrow heavily from TTRPGs for inspiration, and the general setting and storyline is from a TTRPG campaign I'm running.] [PPS: This is my first attempt at writing long-form fiction. I'm not trying to make a great piece of literature or have a multi-novel overarching plot, but hopefully it'll still be a fun story - let me know what you think in the comments.] [PPPS: Cover image is from a free-download wallpaper by Tyler Edlin; I do not own it, and will take it down immediately if requested.]
